Groom & Briede Persona Chart Observations III

Groom (5129), Briede (19029) are asteroids that are romance kind of asteroids. Groom represents the husband, and Briede represents the wife. If you are into men, look at your Groom Persona Chart, and if you are into women, look at Briede PC. Despite it is starting to be well known and recognized as asteroids, those two are still new, and we don't actually know that much in the end about those asteroids. Some say it will say the signs and placements of your FS, some say it will explain who is your FS. I have decided to make observations about it, and make a conclusion about those asteroids. Observations were made on married couple, still together or divorced, that I know.

Class Selection

Levi was a young software engineer freshly graduated from university and set up in a nice job at one of the best tech companies in Sydney. Whilst Levi loved his job his real passion was in gaming and he'd been waiting 6 months for a new MMO to drop. He'd heard it allowed him to link his character from his PC to the real world and engage in community events from his phone whilst he was out.

Levi sat down at his PC watching the linking app install on his phone, he got a quick notifications about Beta functions but he just brushed it off ignoring the message entirely knowing most games like this release in a public beta version for at least a few months.

He was too excited to start playing ShiftOnline. Levi opened up the launcher on his PC and linked it to his phone. He saw a blank character sheet on his phone along with empty social and quest functions. It looked interesting but he had to make a character before he could explore how the real life raid functions worked.

Levi clicked on create character and was prompted with a handful of selections and character presets.

MAGE: a hot toned black man teleported onto the screen in a flash of lightning. Seemed interesting for maybe his second playthrough but Levi found DPS classes a bit boring.

GUARDIAN: A slim man wielding yellow magic stepped onto the screen but Levi clicked off before the character could even finish his intro animation, healers were boring as fuck, he loved being front and centre in games and skipped past the rest of the options to the tank classes.

Scrolling through the tank classes they all seemed fairly generic and boring. Levi was almost ready to go back to the mage character when he clicked on the final class to take a look.

COLOSSUS: A giant black man leaped down from the top of the screen slamming into the ground giving the illusion of the entire monitor shaking from the impact. The character than stood up expanding his shoulders back, roaring slamming his fists together.

Levi smiled with excitement, this was exactly what he was looking for, not just a tank to take hits during a raid but a Juggernaut who could deal just as much damage as he could take, a real Colossus.

He clicked on the character and went through to customisation. He spent an hour designing his character to be exactly how he wanted, he looked at the first few stages of the levelling plan for the class before pressing create.

LEVEL 1 COMMANDING AURA: release a potent aura and gaining the attention of everything in a radius

LEVEL 2 COLOSSAL DEFENSES: when under threat increase size and strength by almost double LEVEL 3 METEOR SLAM: whilst moving above walking speed gain increasing momentum up to 500%, slamming into a target or object will release the energy in a burst of damage

LEVEL 4 HOME ADVANTAGE: your commanding aura will shift the environment it touches leaving it to effect living things as if you were there.

Levi liked what he was seeing from the first few levels and didn't feel like he had to keep reading all the way to level 50 so he clicked create and began linking his character to his phone. Soon the large man he had just spent an hour creating appeared on the app on his phone.

Is this the character you'd like to engage in real world events? YES/NO

Levi pressed yes and suddenly felt a small zap of electricity from his phone. He reactively dropped his phone and rubbed his hand from where he had just been shocked. Looking at the small mark he watched his hand suddenly double in size. His toned body started expanding. He felt his tight tank top struggling to cope as his body started expanding, he quickly took it off and started recording what was happening to himself in the mirror.

His toned body and muscled started to inflate with size as he slowly transitioned from ripped to jacked. Notifications swamped the top of his screen as people on the Social function of the gaming app posted videos of themselves transforming, for most it were minor physical changes but for those who picked tank classes they were turning into giant beasts.

It was almost like a trend for people to post their before and after transformations on the app, but when Levi checked other social media apps there were no videos infact it there were no posts about the game at all, it was almost like the game got cancelled.

Levi gritted his teeth as his body continued to expand. He stood up investigating his new thick frame.

"god damn what the fuck happened"

Levi checked the app and saw a progress bar labelled "Real World Transfer" was only half way complete. He looked at the size of the character on his phone compared to how he looked now, if he was really going to become that big he had no idea how the hell he was going to fit in clothes anymore, or his car for that matter.

Guess the character starting gear just large baggy pants and no other kind of armour.

He looked to see on the app if anyone else had chosen the same class and if their transformation was complete. He was on the tank player social page and not many people had chosen a tank class and he couldn't see anyone who had picked the Colossus.

A notification appeared at the top of his screen.

LEVEL 1 ABILITIES AVALIBLE - Passive: Commanding Aura

Sweat started to appear across his body and he could smell a potent stench radiating off his body. Levi scratched his armpit and quickly found his hand slick with sweat.

Once again he felt his body expanding and he flexed in the mirror looking as his body slowly transformed to be like his colossal character.

Levi looked and admired the new giant bodybuilder form standing in front of himself. He flexed his huge arms and uploaded his transformation video to the social part of the app. He tried to upload it to his other social media app however the video wouldn't attach and looking closer at his social media apps all the photos of him had been changed to his new massive form.

Soon the novelty wore off as he caught a whiff of the stench radiating off his body, this commanding aura was definitely something he was going to have to figure out before going into work tomorrow but for now he was going to enjoy the activity offered in game, and maybe he'd enjoy himself a little bit later too.

Levi sat down in his gaming chair hearing it strain under his new weight. His expanded lats rubbed against the arm rests barely squeezing through and soon Levi felt his underwear coated in sweat and stick to his huge muscled ass.

Levi squeezed himself out of his small car, feeling the dress shirt he ordered online cling to his huge muscled frame. He didn't know how everyone was going to react to how he had magically changed over the weekend but he still had to make money to pay for his gaming habit.

Levi walked through the lobby and stepped into an elevator. A slight ding range as he pressed to his floor number and the doors reopened to the lobby. A small middle aged man in a business suit stepped in front of the elevator.

"I dont know why they hell you're in the elevator Levi, you know you surpass the weight limit"

Levi rubbed the back of his head, so people recognised him but didn't notice the changes. Like he had always been like this. Levi stepped out embarrassed.

"Guess I'll take the stairs"

"maybe lay off the roids kid" The older man said, shaming Levi for his size.

Levi opened the door to the emergency stair well and began his 30 floor hike. He hasn't even started walking and could already feel the sweat start to stain under his armpits. The 3 cans of deodorant he had coated himself in this morning was already starting to be worthless and Levi hadn't even made it up 3 steps yet.

At floor 5 Levi stopped taking a break to catch his breath. He had read some guide last night about the Colossus class having terrible stamina to balance out Meteor Slam but he didn't think it would impact him much in the real world but he continued his hike.

Arriving at floor 30 he stood in front of the door to his office floor gasping for air. The terrible stamina combined with how much effort it took to move his body was making him start to doubt his class choice. Levi raised one arm to lean on the door way but lifting it an inch too high he hear a ripping noise. Looking down he saw the stitching over his armpit was torn and what looked like steam flowed from his shirt. Levi pushed open the door hoping no one would notice his wardrobe malfunction but as he opened the door he noticed how bad his stench must be. As the door swung open a cloud of steam flowed out into the office and a wet sweaty handprint was left behind from where he pushed it open.

Walking across the office everyone was staring at him, complaining about the stench radiating from his body. Levi sat down in his office chair accidentally breaking one of the arm rests as he did and started to get to work. He heard his phone ping and saw a notification from the game app.

LEVEL 2 ABILITIES AVALIBLE: -passive: Colossal Defences.

It wasn't long before his boss was at his desk.

"Levi this is the 3rd time I'm talking to you about your...work place hygiene"

This was the first Levi had ever heard about it

"eeerrr, sorry sir. I ummm"

"save it Levi, I'm going to have to ask you to go home, you'll have to do remote work from now on, nobody in the office can stand your, hmmm how do I put this delicately, your aura but I need to warn you, if your work output drops we'll have to let you go"

Levi grew nervous, he loved his job and really didn't want to lose it. His heart started beating in his chest. He heard the office chair groan under him. Looking down at his thighs he saw his pants grow tighter and the stitching on his inner thigh started to let go.

"everything okay Levi?"

"eerrrr yep, all good, Ill just head home email me my work bye"

Levi quickly stood up, grabbed his bag and began waddling quickly walking to the door. Hearing his pants and shirt start to tear more with each step. Right as he closed the door to the stair well he felt the back of his shirt completely tear apart. His pants split to shreds as he suddenly doubled in size.

He checked the app to see what was happening and saw his ability Colossal Defence had become active. He tried to take some deep breaths to calm down but realised anyone could walk in at any moment and they might not notice how he changed over the weekend but this was temporary and it'd be difficult to explain how he doubled in size in two seconds. He began his decent down the stairs, slowly waddling as he couldn't see his feet past his huge pecs. Luckily by the time he got to his car he had shrank back down to "normal size" sitting in her car he got a notification from the game app again.

LEVEL 3 - Ability: Meteor Slam

Levi finally arrived him, he didn't bother taking his clothes off normally, he just tore off what wet shreds remained clinging to him and chucked them to the floor hearing a loud wet slop as drenched fabric landed on the ground. He sniffed his pits turning away grossed out at the stench and headed to his bathroom for a shower. Right before opening the door he tripped over his own massive foot. As he fell forward he felt his body accelerate and he suddenly found his massive body crashing straight through his bathroom door. As his huge form collided with the door it was obliterated and smashed into pieces.

"aw fuck...welp guess that's meteor slam...." Levi put his hands on the back of his head and let out a deep sigh. He was done, it was the Colossus class was fun in the game but the real lift effects were too much he was going to change his class. He tried to do it through the app but there was no option, he went to his PC putting off his shower a bit longer to get himself back to some kind of normal. Opening the game he was met with a message.

Levi rolled his eyes, it was the first thing he'd do tomorrow when the game was back online. For now he was going to bed, today was a bust he'd try for a better day tomorrow.

Levi woke up feeling his bed completely drenched in sweat, the smell of body odour lingering in the air. He picked up his massive frame and went straight to his PC to change his character. Openeing the game is was met with a notification.

Levi skimmed through the other class changes to his

Colossus Changes: Colossus is the least popular class in the game with under 100 players however that doesn't mean the class isn't strong so we are making some changes to rebalance the skills and redirect some power, this changes will be reflective [to see definition of reflective please see our website]

NERFS Colossus players have gained major increased strength and we want to keep that, so to better keep their balance we are nerfing their intelligence stats by -80

BUFFS Commanding Aura is great and grabbing attention both in and out of the game world but its a bit on the weaker side of other tanks agro abilities so we are doubling its range

Colossal Defences is a good abilities but players dislike its randomness, it will now auto trigger when a player is threated like before but players can also toggle the ability on when they aren't threatened

Levi started to feel strange, like popping candy was going off in his head. He felt a bit dizzy. He clicked the link to the definition of reflective changes.

"reflective changes mean they will happen in game and IRL"

Levi remembered the intelligence nerf and quickly when back to the game to make a new character. He picked a basic mage character and sped through the customisation feeling the sensation in his head get worse. Right as he went to press accept he stopped and sat back in his chair. He lifted on arm flexing looking at his huge bicep.

"huhuhuh, so big, me stay biig forEVER"

Levi clicked deny on the character change settings

He stood up moving his hulking frame to the bathroom to admire his huge form in the mirror. As he stood in front of the mirror he flexed feeling a strange sensation, as he activated his Colossal Defences ability without realising. He watched his body slowly grow and double in size.

"huhuhuh"

Levi laughed with drool falling down the side of his lip and onto his chest. He felt himself get hard and waddled to his bedroom to have some fun with himself but he found his shoulders colliding with the door frame. Levi stopped and frowned. He knew had fit through the door but couldn't work out how. He continued to walk back and fourth his shoulders colliding with the doorframe over and over. Too stupid to realise he'd have to shrink back down to normal size to fit through the door again.

About an hour later Levi realised he could turn sideways and fit through the door. His phone pinged again but he didn't bother to check.

LEVEL 4: -Passive: Home Advantage

As Levi waddled through his house his thick stench wafted along with him clinging to his wall and furniture. He carpets became strained with sweaty footprints. His wall paper started to peel and crumble from the about of sweat in the air. His house slowly shifted around him from the clean kept house of a software engineer to an unkept mess that looked like it was home to a caveman.

Levi sat down on his and reached down to his dick to relieve himself but he couldn't reach. The sound of his muscles and skin groaning and rubbing against each other filled the room as the giant man desperately tried to grab hold of his own manhood. Again not able to figure how he'd have to go back to his 'normal' size so he could reach.

The giant colossus spent hours trying to figure out why he couldn't reach his own dick even though he desperately wanted to. Eventually he simply fell asleep on his sweaty stained, stinking mattress. His loud snooze rumbling through his house.

Levi probably thought picking Colossus as his starting class was a bad idea.

Luckily he couldn't think anymore.

but followers and viewers SKYROCKETED so fast, he was kinda overwhelmed at first

mostly streams LoL, but loves switching between diff games throught the stream (OVW, apex, valorant, fortnite)

but for some reason, he hates COD. HATES IT. if chat even mentions it he screams

he gets banned regularly for "random shit" aka trying to beef with the 12 year old's in chat, accidentally smoking on cam, etc

has absolutely no filter, just plays the game the same way he would if he were alone, which gives him one hell of a reputation online

chat goes WILD when he ties his hair back, cause usually its in his face

does a lot of 12-24 hour streams bc he cant sleep

streams at the most random and inconvenient times, like 4pm or 3am.

that being said he has no set schedule. he usually just hops online whenever.

so i just read a post explaining why the op (and, according to the op, a lot of other people, even tho the post in question only had 32 notes, some of which were from people who disagreed with them) didn't like the cut to the crown keepers in last week's episode. while i'm totally on board with people not jibing with stuff that just doesn't work for them, i wanted offer some reasons why this seemingly hard pivot to people who are not the main characters of the story being told was a good decision to make (note good decision, not inherently the best decision, which i believe no one, including the dm, at a ttrpg table should ever be expected to make).

matt had an extremely powerful, extremely unexpected character decision dropped in his lap in the final moments of the previous episode. we don't know exactly how much time matt has between recordings, maybe a full week, maybe not, but either way, there's a very real chance that matt just did not have enough time to fully prepare a session to deal with fcg's death and what comes next.

sam now has to create a new character that a) is of a level with the rest of the party and b) makes narrative sense for him to be there. that takes time for both him and matt, and they might just need some space to work on that. when laudna died, marisha was willing to sit away from the table for several weeks because she knew that she wanted laudna to be resurrected, but sam may not want the same thing, and that's okay!

matt may want to fold the crown keepers into his main story, some or all of them—particularly dorian, whom both liam and the fans have been asking to return for a while now. dorian is clearly important to orym and the story that liam is trying to tell, and bringing the crown keepers in may be matt's way to do that.

matt—and dms generally—has always had to straddle a very fine line of making sure that his players are the main characters of their story who feel like their actions have real consequences and effects on the world, while also understanding that in reality, it doesn't make sense for half a dozen chucklefucks to have such an outsized effect on major cosmological goings-on like *checks notes* the potential release of a god-eater. this becomes especially true when you're on your third campaign set in the same world, and your players' previous ultra-powerful pcs are still around and definitely more adept and connected than their current pcs are. i, personally, think matt does a great job at walking that line, and one of the things he does that i appreciate is that he doesn't shy away from the fact that a) his players are powerful but not the most powerful and b) his players aren't the only one who care about what's going on in the world and who are taking actions to effect change. the current plotline re: ruidus is absolutely world-shaking and is causing all the divine girlies to cower in their demiplanes, so of course even the evil ones are going to be calling on their champions to help out. it makes more sense for opal to be involved (which, btw, matt has been hinting at for a while now) than not.

matt might need a fucking break! he's been doing this consistently for nine years now, and shit is complicated! handing over the reins to aabria for a week or two or three may be what he needs to not get burnt out.

dnd is an emotional game, and the entire cast might have been rocked hard by fcg's death. some space away for a week or two could help them process and regroup to get back into a story that is otherwise very stressful and action-packed.

or it's none of these! what do i know! i'm a random idiot on the internet! matt doesn't consult me on these matters! (though my dms are open if he wants to chat, i do have ideas)

i think it's tempting to think of the decisions made in and around critical role (or any ttrpg show) like those made for a television series, because the episodes are serialized and we love them so much. but this show is, first and foremost, a group of friends playing a game together, and not a carefully constructed narrative with the primary goal of entertaining an audience. the audience always has been and, frankly, always should be second to the wishes and fun of the people around that table. matt would not have asked aabria to step in and dm a crown keepers side arc if he didn't think it was a good decision for him and his players, and that priority is the correct one. we are being invited in to watch these friends have fun together, and that's a privilege that we're super lucky to have. as long as the cr story isn't doing things that are outright abusive or harmful to the cast or the audience, i don't think we should begrudge them the choices they make in the name of their own game.

again, it's okay if you're not vibing with the crown keepers! i didn't love the aeor arc of c2! not everything is for everyone! but i think accusing matt and the cast of narrative malfeasance is a bit much when, tbqh, they don't answer to us. they answer to each other.

god okay i'm more normal now so i'm gonna ramble proper about leliana's deleted dialogue. i don't know if it's new to the fandom but it's new to ME

thoughts under the cut bc it got long. it's all over the place but i have so many feelings.

the biggest part to me is the entirely cut content with leliana and her knife she received from justinia when she was in the dungeon. this really sucks because based on the dialogue seen, it would of been so thematically perfect for her arc and made her personal quest better than just "find box". having to give up the knife "frees" her, just as receiving it did, and both of these were done by justinia. a bookend!

Leliana: Justinia gave me this the first time we met. It is a bard’s blade: Small, easily concealed, delicate, but deadly. Now she wants me to lock it away. Forever.

how she feels it about it tho is varied by if she's enlightened or steeled, with the steeled one specifically sticking out to me (and being so painful):

PC: The knife that fit in the box… Why does it mean so much to both you and Justinia? Leliana: When Justinia and I first met, I was locked in a dungeon cell. Justinia—she was Dorothea, then—gave me the knife and told me to free myself. I’ve kept it with me ever since. I suppose I’m carrying the debt I owe. Leliana: And now that debt is repaid and forgotten. Leliana: That knife saved my skin countless times, and it’s such a pretty thing.

my god there's so much here. leliana is very sentimental, with both gifts and memories, and specifically with her knife before this point. i mean, she literally has kept it for over a decade. but now being influenced towards that more ruthless part of her, it's a symbol of a "debt" owed, and now repaid. nothing more. (also drawing contrast to an earlier line she has in another dialogue tree).

17 - Investigate: How did you meet? PC: How did you and Justinia meet? Leliana: I met her a long time ago, before she became Divine, before she was Justinia. When I met her, she was Mother Dorothea. I was at my lowest: broken, lost. And she saved me. No, no, wait. (Laughs.) She hates it when I say that. I saved myself. She just showed me it was possible.

and of course i have to highlight "pretty thing" because it sucker punched me in the chest. the knife was nothing more than a pretty thing, useful but easily discarded when no longer needed. just like marjolaine's "pretty thing". she came full circle despite her fear of becoming marjolaine, slipping into someone, or something just like her. and here it is. christ. i want to eat glass.

for her enlightened reaction, it's similar to the one in-game but this also leads to a different but just as interesting piece of cut content.

PC: So does putting the knife in the box make you feel any different? Leliana: It is more complicated than that. Leliana: The box is a reminder to stay true to who I really am, before spymaster, Left Hand, or bard.

and this route leads to more about sister natalie. and it's another sucker punch to the chest. (i assume the two lines are steeled and enlightened respectively.)

PC: Tell me about Natalie. Leliana: She was a sister from the Grand Cathedral, one of Justinia’s most trusted. I always liked her. She reminded me of… myself. Leliana: I suppose an honest face will get you far in the Game, no? [steeled?] Leliana: Perhaps one day we could be friends again. What do you think? [enlightened?]

first admitting she reminded her of herself, which can very well be it's own post despite the small amount of screentime she gets. but i wanted to focus on the "we could be friends again" part. despite betrayal being a core part of...well everything about herself, a literal fundamental building block of her character, she even has this line about marjolaine, showing even now she is deeply affected still:

PC: Why do you say you were “broken”? Leliana: I was used and betrayed by someone dear to me. I was beaten an imprisoned, but flesh heals. It was the memory of the betrayal that nearly defeated me.

despite DESPITE this. she still has a hope, even small, they could be friends again. if she kills her, she said she called her sister once:

Leliana: And my poor, dear Natalie. I called her sister once, but I couldn’t risk leaving her alive. Don’t tell me to let it all go after all I’ve sacrificed to get here.

and she even knew of leliana's vision:

Natalie: “A barren branch.” Could that have something to do with your story about the rose, Leliana? Leliana: Ah, that must be it!

so, it must of been a good friendship, but even if it wasn't as deep, she herself says she has so few true friends left. and maybe that's enough to try to keep the ones who are still alive:

11 - General: I’m glad you care for Josephine. PC: Whatever happens, I’m glad to see Josephine has a concerned friend here. Leliana: (Sighs.) I have so few true friends these days. Those that are left I… deeply cherish.

and maybe, learning to forgive:

I think it’s likely. PC: I think you will be friends again. Friends forgive. Leliana: Let’s hope so.

this is literally undoing me at the seams, and i did want to point out one final bit of cut content (or well the last one i want to ramble about i could go on about literally every single line if i wanted) about justinia herself:

Who was Justinia, really? PC: A posthumous mission? Hidden messages? Justinia was more than just a cleric, wasn’t she. Leliana: Like many, Justina had a past. Even I know very little about it. She enjoyed keeping the mystery alive, I think. Some believe she was a bard in service of Dowager Marquise Mantillon. She may even have been the famed Lady of the Crimson Mantle. The Lady’s appearance at court often preceded someone’s political ruin. She was like a bad omen. And no one saw her face. She always wore a veil, they say. I don’t know if she was really Justinia. I suppose I’ll never know.

and it's a shame, like all this other cut content, it's not in the game. we learn little about justinia herself in the main series, and while it's not telling us a lot it does tell us even from leliana she kept secrets (parallel to marjolaine maybe.........).

the mantillon is an interesting mention because there's two, one in dai and the other one in tme. there's no real indication which it could be, but given the prominence of mantillon from tme and justinia and leliana's roles in the novel, i'd guess it was her. maybe it was to be in the novel more but it was cut from there too. also the "lady of the crimson mantle" brings up nothing on the wiki, so maybe some scrapped content or it's not on there or maybe a reference i'm missing.

either way, tragic leliana is left to speculate about her past, when...well justinia knew hers. their relationship makes me so unwell.

and i think i'll stop here but rest assured i was breaking down as i was breaking down the text. i love leliana so much and i'm grabbing all of this and shoving it into my own canon.

Since my Sims 3 posts are kinda on hiatus, due to me being very burned out from the game, as I am playing a ABC Legacy, I decided to also upload some Sims 2. I just recently got into the PC version (I only ever played the PS2 version with my brother when we were younger) and even tho playing rotational is totally new for me and super different from me being used to Story Progression, I am enjoying the Pre-mades and their Lore a lot. Strangetown has to be my favorit World I have ever played in a Sims game. ACR decided to Randomize half my pre-mades Gay so I kinda have to cope with taking Townies in, Lmao. It doesn't bother me a lot and leaves for interesting Story telling. Like, Ripp being the gay version of Don Lothario trying to persue every Guy in Town that isn't hammerd into the floor, was such a funny idea to implement. Ajay and Tank adopted one of Jenny's and PT9's Alien Triplets to give him a good life (not because I almost lost my mind with 3 Babies, uhu) and Lola and Kristen randomly got their first kiss during my Beaker playthrough. I absolutely love @plumbtales Lots so I use them for literally everyone (She is one of the the reasons I was so interested in playing Sims 2 for PC lol) and her Genetically Correct Strangetown is an absolute slay! Everyone looks amazing! Thank you for your hard work. ♥ I want to post more Gameplay Screenshots of Sims 2 and I hope people that follow me for Sims 3 Conversions/other stuff aren't as mad. I just don't want my blog to die out in the end and try to use it for both 2 and 3. :) That being said: I am quite a bit late but Happy belated Birthday to the Chaos that is Sims 2! ♥

Hey, saw your mods post, and this is what worked for me.

First, you need to delete and re-download the bg3 mod manager, don't open it tho. If you don't already, have your mods pak files saved somewhere handy.

Then you need to go into file explorer and delete the modsettings.lsx file. Make sure you can see hidden files in your settings. Follow this path: This PC\Windows(C:)\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public

After deleting, verify games files and launch! Now go into the official mod manager and download the improved UI mod from there.

When you exit out and launch the new bb3mm it should no longer interfere. Put all your other mods back, you should no longer need mod fixer or the old improved UI.

Hope this works for you!

Adding to my previous 'Graphical Update and Derplander's face' post now that the benchmark has been updated, and overall it's an improvement. Rejoice user of hyur face#5, your WoL won't suddenly turn into old man anymore!

It's rather hard to take pic with similar light for ver1.1 because they had revamped their lighting placement big time, especially the indoor one. But hoo-boy ain't it look good. It register multiple light sources now? Making things like his collar and ears cast subtler shadows from different angle. They fix the fading facial hair and eyebrow too. Nice.

While face#5 regain its youthful visage, players who DO want their WoL to age can look to face#7, which retain its middle-aged-man look from previous benchmark, that stubble come complete with nasolabial folds, wrinkles, lines and all intact. Heck, you can argue that it look even more rugged now.

(note: When the first DT benchmark released I was on break from playing XIV and didn't have access to in-game Character Creator, so I used EW benchmark for comparison pics on my previous post and the updated ones above. They were captured on PC and labeled from patch 6.0. Since then I had subbed again, so part of pics below was taken from current-build CC, captured on PS5 and labeled from patch 6.5. I thought it wouldn't differ much, but 6.0's shadow is much darker compared to current (6.5) build. Huh. Is it because of different hardware? Different setting? Benchmark fault? Idk)

Yep. Same face structure, different direction. One brings youth, one brings the age. Two-toned echoes tumbling through update.... Well, anyway, they did a good job distinguishing face#7 from #5 with this graphic update. And it's nice to have more options. People who like this face type (and it feels almost every male hyur player use this one) but want 20s or youthful 30-something WoL can go with face#5. Those who don't mind 40s or 30-something-who-spend-too-much-of-his-life-standing-one-millimeter-from-blazing-inferno-or-toxic-fumes-AoE-too-keep-his-uptime-resulting-in-rough-skin WoL can go with face#7. That's me and I'm happy with this update. I just wish we can turn that stubble on and off without need of fanta($$), like every other facial hair options... But I guess that ship has sailed.

Looking at updated benchmark cutscene itself, there's improved lighting but all in all the change is minimal imo. And I'm sad to say that villain-esque eyeliner I mentioned in previous post is still there. Not as thick as previous, but still appear anytime I use hairstyle with bangs that drop shade on his eyes. Sigh maybe I should use that new DT hair afterall...? But ngl I don't really like it...

Don't get me wrong, it's great! ....It just doesn't compliment this face type.. On my previous post I wrote about how they add highlight to this face#7's forehead, and in theory I understand why they did it. But in practice and with this hair, I found it make his forehead distractingly bright and plastic-like and flat compared to the rest of his face that's carefully detailed and contoured. It looks odd, is what it is. That bright forehead also highlight (hurhur) how the front hair and roots don't have shadow at all, and my brain can't help thinking how wrong it look like every time I put this hair on him. Also I deliberately capture the above pic with indoor lighting, because in outdoor that forehead shine like lighthouse, good lord @_@. Being a Warrior of Light doesn't mean you have to become literal sun, dude.

So yeah that's my main wrinkle with this expansion, his hair and forehead. (first world problem) (while a throng of BLM and AST have a meltdown out there (*´・ｖ・). Tho I do feel pretty miffed right now regarding how they replace many gap closer with no-damage skill. Like, I can't surprise enemy by poking their head from above while laughing maniacally anymore?? HOW DARE YOU--- but this aimless rambling post already hella long without those rants. I'll keep it for another time..)

So, since spooky season is almost here I think I should talk about the elefant in the room, the return of Helion in "Rex new Life".

For those who don't know Helion is a demon I introduced in last year Halloween special. He basically lured Rex into an abandoned mansion and then incite a group of monsters after him to fuck him and having their ways with him, before introducing himself and mind breaking him and corrupting him through sex (for more detail go see my Halloween Special).

Anyway (SPOILER) the chapter ended with Rex being subjugated by Helion and carrying his wish into the outside world, corrupting everyone in the city and expanding his domain.

After I published those chapters I realized that I really loved the premise and, after thinking a bit about it, I decided I wanted to dedicate a whole collection just to this idea.

I started thinking about it and I actually started working on the first chapter. Unfortunately, though, it was right before my spring hiatus, so I was never able to end it and it still lays in my unfinished drafts in my pc.

But I really want to continue it, and I think I will start working on it in the background. The plan is writing if not all the story at least a couple of chapters before posting it somewhat regularly. Probably I will start doing it after I took care of at least the Kinktober project.

Until then, tho, I thought about leaving you with a bit of a premise of what will happen to what characters and what monsters you may see.

So, let me introduce you to a preview of Rex mission to corrupt his whole city:

Rex convinces Mike to accompany him to a picnic in a more secluded part of the park, here there are a lot of strange flowers with a weird, sweet scent. The more time Mike spend into the proximity of this flowers, the more horny he becomes, until he can only think about fucking his brother, unaware that the plants seems to want to partake in the fun as well (Mike x magical palnts; sex pollen and vines)

Josh is a bit confused when Rex ask him to accompany him to a college frat party, but, despite everything, he accepts. When they arrive is really chaotic and a lot of music and alcohol is involvend. Josh is uneasy but Rex keeps trying to reassure him that everything is all right and to just keep drinking. Is too late when Josh realizes that there are no girl at the party and that the members of the frat seems particularly interested in him and Rex (Josh x satyrs; magical aphrodisiac and gangbang)

When the team is invited to a friendly match, they are happy to see Rex Is coming as well, ready for their post victory gangbang with him. Things starts getting weird when they found, after the match, the other team already filling their team cumdump. They invite them to partake into the festivity and the jocks don't think anything too weird about it, until they realize the other team has a whole different idea than them when they talk about a group bonding moment (the team x werewolf pack; gangbang and breeding)

Noah awakes in the middle of the night, and when he passes in front of Rex's room he hears a sound. He finds it strange, since Mike isn't home, so who could it be with his oldest son? He is surprised when he sees two weird creatures busy spitroasting his son, but this is nothing compared to when they see him (Noah x the Monster under the bed; threesome/foursome, two tops two bottoms)

When Rex asks coach Norris if one of his friends can join them in their training at the gym the man just thinks he is talking about one of his fuck buddies and nothing more. But, when is presented with a big, burly, hairy guy, he is baffled. The more time he passes with this stranger the more he finds himself, inexplicably, more and more aroused, until the other two corner him in the locker room to have their way with him (coach Norris x orc; facesitting, rimming, topping from the bottom)

So, here it is! And these are just some of the ideas I have apart for the future Rex and Helion story, filled to the brim with horniness and corruption. So, until I'll be able to post this story, I leave with these previews.

heyyy I'm new to digital art, would you mind sharing some tips regarding programs and tutorials and etc? also on how to turn a real life piece into a beautiful and clean digital piece... really love your art

oh good luck with your art journey! my experience with digital art is pretty dated (as in a decade + levels dated) and i might be too out of touch to give beginner tips but regardless, allow me to attempt

Programs: it would help to know which hardware you have for digital but ill put down some i have experience in 1. Clip Studio Paint Pro - PC/Android/ipad/everywhere i think? unfortunately they betrayed humankind and its now a subscription everywhere but on PC. i bought a one-time license years years years ago on sale and its probably the best available on my end. I also got it on subscription on android so i can sync works between my PC and tablet. its very flexible in a way that you can draw with it in the most basic way single layer sketches or whatever but they have so many features and keep adding more.

2. procreate - ipad only never been an apple user but my friend is, and he's been a procreate user forever. he recently tried CSP on ipad though and he still claims he likes procreate better for ease of use and compatibility with tablet ergonomics and apple pen

3. medibang paint - pc/android/ipad

free forever. and out of all the free programs i recommended my other digital art newbie friend this is what he liked best.

4. adobe photoshop - dont even look at this the only reason i have one is im leeching off company license. its still unfortunately the industry standard tho but CSP is much cheaper and has the same controls and most of the basic functions 5. Paint Tool SAI - my first art program but i haven't tried it again. honestly still think this has the best brush flexibility and pen pressure control ----- As for tutorials, i find digital art has such a steep and high skill ceiling and its a challenge im still tackling and probably will forever tackle haha. I'm trying to osmosis painting techniques from splash art painters from League of Legends who most of them post complete timelapses (my favorite being Bo Chen) where you can study not just their techniques but like, art directions that make their pieces striking. Anyway, I also promised a friend I would make a simple coloring tutorial so maybe after inktober hustle, I would look for a piece there I'd use for the guide.

---- Traditional to digital is never a satisfactory process to me but if you can, invest on a scanner. I use an epson v39, had it for years.

scanned vs edited. the goal is to at least get the white of the paper as white as possible and the blacks the blackest, without whitewashing/burning the rest of the colors. Level correction function is your best friend here and most art programs have that.

Then i just clean dust and errors and slide the contrasts around until it looks as close to the original piece

If you have a decent phone camera, you can get away just posting instagram aesthetic pics with materials framing it or smth and just edit as usual. natural light tends to be a lot more forgiving than the harsh light of scanners anyway.

Saw a post about MCR mention foundations of decay and I wanna ramble!

I will be honest when I first heard the song on the radio, I definitely didnt think it was bad, but I wasnt immediately hooked. Its a little slow to pick up and without being able to hear the lyrics it didnt do much for me... But hey its new MCR! so I vowed to give it another go, and Oh Those Lyrics

I didnt immediately look them up, but the song slowly grew on me to the point where I had listened to it a bunch and still couldnt understand some of them, and Im so glad I did look them up, a lot of the ones I couldnt/couldnt quite hear are really important.

My favorite one is "take his body as a relic to be canonized // and so he gets to die a saint but she will always be the whore" which Genius claims is a reference to the whore of Babylon, which I didnt know about (raised in a "progressive" church that didnt deal much with that un-PC stuff). It gets at a big reason Ive always disliked The Church and *part* of why I eventually left (misogyny), and it evokes relics (pieces of the bodies of saints) which, though historically significant, as a big proponent of bodily autonomy even in death, are really weird to me.

My second favorite are the references to the tower of Babel, I like that myth bc I think its funny when the bible "borrows" from other belief systems and I can see a lot of Greek-Myths-about-Human-Hubris in it. Its a pretty human story to tell, you can see it all over, and early christianity loves it bc it was still on that old testament "You Must Fear God and Never Aspire to Be Like Him" shit, BUT this one in particular just strikes me as so similar to Icarus. Trying to reach the sky but your efforts fall? Yeah

I really heavily associate this song with specifically season 4 of stranger things (to the point where I wonder if its intentional, they both came out around the same time) with the swarm/decay aesthetics, and the metal (tho obv not the same subgenre dont come at me), so I think if you like that and/or Faith by ghost youll like this song. If youve listened to both songs Im really curious: did you catch the similarity between the "faith is mine" and "against faith" lines bc when I heard it and realized I was like WAIT :O

A hopefully comprehensive guide on all the malfunctions ive run into so far. Because honestly, ive recommended aa on citra to so many people, the least i can do is give yall a guide for when you run into problems.

Spoilers under the cut for aa1 (rise from the ashes mostly).

1. Ema's aluminum finger print powder (Rise from the ashes)

In the final case of the first game you meet the Skye sisters. Lana is the Chief Prosecutor and Ema is a high school student who wants to become a forensics scientist. In her guest to prove her sisters innocence Ema will employ a couple of tools like Luminol blood splatter detecting spray and finger print detecting powder.

How does the aluminum powder work? You click on a suspicious surface. Make sure to cover all of the fingerprint with white powder/pixels!

And then what? This is an emulation of a Nintendo game. You are prompted to blow in your mic to blow off the powder and reveal the fingerprint. But well. You can't exactly do that now can you?

How can you get around this?

Maybe if you have a mic you could connect it to your laptop/pc and blow there but i don't know if that would actually work since i don't have a mic and therefore can't give it a try. But theres a way to get around this obstacle! A way that took me like an hour and a lot of research in ace attorney and emulation related forums to find 😭.

You will have to go on the top left corner of your screen and open the configuration option. I think.

Now as you can see my program is in greek which is not exactly making this easier to understand for the rest of you. But nonetheless we will persevere!

What you have to do is go Configuration -> sound -> microphone -> real device ??? It must say something like that. It might take you a little bit of trial and error but you can find it. Try a few of these choices and see which one works. This will make your laptop/pc pick up on the games music and use it to "blow away" the powder by itself. Problem solved <3

2. Playing connect the dots with Ema's name (Rise from the ashes again)

In the final day of the trial we have a piece of evidence that almost everyone hates: that goddamn jar. Aside from its ridiculous resemblance to that monstrosity the blue badger when you rotate it in a highly specific way, this jar holds yet another secret. And that secret is a name written in blood that seems to have been wiped off. We are asked to "connect the dots" to prove whose name is written there. Normally connecting the dots would make red lines appear on the jar that make up Ema's name but well. If this worked as intended i wouldn't be making this post now would i.

When playing in Citra the lines won't show up. Nevertheless, you can still beat this new obstacle: just connect the dots anyway. Be extra careful: you don't want to forget one of the smaller ones. If you connect them all and present the evidence in court the game will progress as it should. Personally, when i was playing i kept forgetting to connect the top right dot in M and got penalised a few times too many over it. I suggest starting from the bottom of E and progressing carefully from there.

Aaaand those are all the malfunctions i stumbled upon on aa1. Honestly, could be worse. And they were both on the same case too, so maybe there won't be any more trouble in the rest of the trilogy games. But if i find any more i will come back and update this post. It will probably take a while tho, im very slow when it comes to video games.

Coral Island gameplay and Sims are taking the backseat for me for a while- after being busy with school i got dengue and now I can't stay still long enough to play or work on anything. My game is also currently broken so I can't do anything 🥹

I got a new hyperfixation tho- Love and Deepspace 🥹 while I was hospitalised my friend was sending me screenshots for fanfic inspos (I guess my brain just wants to work on something new) it kept me sane throughout too tbh so I was really grateful

She based her character off one of my sims- Asami and now we have this whole new AU for sami and the boys 🩷😂

I don't know if or when I'll post them, but I just wanted to post this as some sort of intro- since I'll be reblogging some LnD content from time to come. I'll finally put that Ao3 account to use 😂 if it's still there that is 🤞🏻

As for Coral Island, also have some one shots in my draft 🩷 so you'll be seeing wakuu x minji here first before you will in my sims story on simsta 😂

I got a new pc so there's a high chance that I'll restart Minji's gameplay again skdbfjenkjxjds but we'll see 🥹 hopefully I'll successfully transfer my save over 🤞🏻 (i know there's the cloud but looking at how my year's been anything can happen)

How has your "Sims style" changed throughout your years of playing?

When I first started playing the Sims I would play as god controlling every little action and decision of my Sims, but that got very repetitive and boring. Now I play more wants based and I have the autonomy very high so my sims are free to do and be who they want. It has made playing the game so much more enjoyable. let the randomizer button be your bestie people!!
