festival season is over

Fui a mi primer festival con 16 años (uno de música electrónica chunguilla a lo Tomorrowland y el único al que dejaban entrar a menores de 18). Recuerdo muchos nervios y emoción, como la primera vez que vas al Tibidabo. Me sentía mayor, estaba haciendo lo que hacía la gente mayor y cool de verdad. Pues a media noche, el tío con el que llevaba un mes ligando se empezó a morrear con otra tía en mi cara. Shit happens.

Años después, intenté reconciliarme con los festivales y fui al Primavera Sound a ver el concierto de Cuco, un grupo indie mexicano del que no tenía mucha idea (y del que ahora ya no se nada de nada), mano a mano con una amiga. Solo llegar, estuvimos 20 minutos en la cola para pedir una cerveza templada y nos hicimos un hueco en el césped para hacer tiempo hasta el concierto estiradas. La gente me miraba. Yo estaba encantada. Llevaba una semana entera pensando el look para parecer un poco como Kate Moss en Glastonbury. Pues resulta que me miraban porque tenía una mancha enorme de regla en los pantalones. El concierto estuvo bien, pero creo que los festivales no son lo mío.
