Ranking of billionaires in this country, by a Wayne Kid (from worst to best):
Lex Luthor (-10/10): He can go drown in the ocean for insinuating that me and my siblings are morally inept simply for being orphans
Simon Stagg (2/10): Company has done a lot of great research but the way he treats his employees, according to Timothy, is sketchy at best
Carol Ferris (4/10): Only met her once at my adoption gala—she’s nice but her company manufactures (manufactured?) warplanes. Also she was involved with someone called Hal Jordan and Papa doesn’t like Hal Jordan, so...
Ray Palmer (5/10): Eh. He talks too much and is too arrogant, but to be fair I barely know him. People say he is nice though
Oliver Queen (7/10): He sleeps around too much for my liking. But Thea and Roy say he’s a great mentor and brother
Ted Kord (8/10): Always smiles at me when I pass him at the WE offices. Sold his company to WE so we’re partially in his debt for sustaining our lifestyle, but I’m not sure how much I can admire a guy who gives away his family’s business for cash
Bruce Wayne (9.9/10): Would top this list if he increased my pocket money
Katherine Kane (40/10): Businesswoman, gay rights advocate, former Air Force, actually finished college with excellent grades, AND she backs up her cousin’s children when said cousin is being difficult.

while i'm not a huge fan of the circumstances surrounding hal's dishonorable discharge (re: misogyny and jessica jordan) since it's become part of his defacto origin, the ramifications of it should really be brought up more. a dishonorable discharge is functionally a felony. hal jordan does not have civil rights.

One time, we were going to France, we drove really fast off the ferry before the ramp was fully down and did this amazing jump before landing unscathed and skidding away.
And to this very day they call Crowley ‘Rampa’ in France, and that’s why.

remember when ferris air grew in importance under lex luthor's government and that was something acknowledged within one of talia's lex corp era issues but nothing was ever done with it despite the potential for talia to take down not only lex corp but ferris air as well in a parallel storyline to hal's fall from grace and the inherent commentary on the military industrial complex and the caveats of blind patriotism
