"Hello Y/n," Dream said in his usual monotone voice, spotting the child sitting on a bench, cradling her knee in both hands.

"Hey Dream," Y/n replied with a grin."I had a bit of an accident." Dream approached the bench and knelt down beside her, noting how hard Y/n was trying to stifle her laughter as she clutched at her knee. "Let me see," he said and reached out to gently touch it.

Y/n flinched away from his touch, the small smile on her face disappearing instantly. "Don't touch it! It hurts!"

"I cannot help you properly if you won't sit still." Dream looked around for some sort of bandage or dressing material but found nothing.

Suddenly, something caught his eye. "Matthew," he called out to his raven companion who had been loitering nearby. "Try and find something I can use to cover this up."

With a croak that conveyed all the annoyance any bird could muster, Matthew took to flight begrudgingly. "So what happened?" Dream asked Y/n as they waited for Matthew's return.

"I was playing tag with some of my friends and I tripped over a log."

“Ah… why didn’t you use your powers to stay afloat?”

"I Did! But then I stumbled on another log.”

WIP Wednesday-

In the quiet hours of the early morning, when the Dream SMP was still cloaked in a gentle mist, Philza sat on the edge of a cliff overlooking the tranquil lands below. His black feathered wings folded neatly behind him, rustling ever so slightly as he breathed in the crisp air. The world felt at peace for a rare moment—a fleeting moment in a world often filled with chaos and destruction.

Phil had always been a watcher, a protector. His wings were a symbol of his eternal vigilance, of his quiet, constant presence over the server. For centuries, he'd guarded lands, cities, and people, but it was here in the Dream SMP that he’d found something different—something akin to family.

As the sun began to crest over the horizon, a figure appeared below, scaling the steep incline to join him. It was Tommy, out of breath and exasperated as usual.

“Phil! There you are!” Tommy called out, his voice bouncing off the rocks as he scrambled to the top. “Why do you always have to sit up here? Do you have any idea how long it took me to find you?”

Phil chuckled, his gaze still fixed on the glowing sky. “Morning, Tommy. You know, you could always take the scenic route like I do.” He gave his wings a slight stretch, sending a gust of wind in Tommy's direction, who stumbled back, feigning annoyance.

“Yeah, yeah,” Tommy muttered, brushing himself off. “But not all of us can just take to the skies and skip the hard parts. Besides, I like a good challenge.” He puffed his chest out proudly, earning an amused smile from Phil.

“Fair enough,” Phil said, folding his wings back into place. He looked down at Tommy, his expression softening. “What brings you here, then?”

Tommy hesitated, his usual bravado slipping for just a moment. “I… I just wanted to make sure you were alright, you know? After everything that happened with L’Manberg… with Techno.” The memory lingered between them, as heavy as the mist hanging in the air.

Phil’s smile faded, and he sighed deeply, the weight of his responsibilities pressing down on him once more. “I appreciate that, Tommy. This world… it’s always moving, always changing, and sometimes it’s hard to keep up. But that’s why I’m here—to watch over all of you. Even when things get dark.”

He extended one wing, wrapping it gently around Tommy’s shoulders. Tommy tensed, but quickly relaxed, letting himself lean into Phil’s embrace.

“You’re the only one who can do it, you know,” Tommy muttered. “Look after us, I mean. You’re like… the father figure we never really knew we needed. Even if you’re a bit of an old crow sometimes.”

Phil chuckled, ruffling Tommy’s hair. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”

damn favourite ever... ofc i rlly like the face reveal/meetup but before that i rlly liked the bath space era when he was crunching on ice 😭 and when he called out a6d that was so funny. i still sometimes think of 'stop calling me, fuck you, fuck off' to this day 💀 so many good moments in those spaces from like may-september 2022 including The Quiz 2 where he got 68% in love with your best friend. and who could forget The Weather...
