i was just thinking about new kid and i wanna talk abt them cause i don't think anyone has yet

spoilers for the stick of truth, the fractured but whole and snowday‼️‼️

they always found a way to become op in all three games (sot, fbw, sd). yeah the new kid is only in games and in games you become op but thats not the point. the other kids are *aware* that the new kid is op, thats why there was rules in place IN snowday to stop them from being op (but then dark matter got involed blah blah blah). The new kid STILL became op, a reason why they get used by other kids. Now the new kid can leave at anytime, nothing really stops them yet they havent left. We dont really know what happens during school or off days so everything there is up to theory.

D&D is a heartless, intense thing; which is why Weiss never plays.

She smiles lightly as she watches Yang animatedly describe a new campaign to her group of players, her excitement nearly palpable in her voice. Around the table, Nora and Marrow groan and the three of them begin to talk over one another in an attempt to figure out how to proceed in their gameplay.

Weiss doesn't understand a word being said; but the game makes Yang happy, and that's enough for her. In years past Weiss had attempted to play D&D before, especially when she was trying helplessly to get Yang's attention. The irony of it all was Yang had gotten so good at playing in her attempts to win Weiss over. The board game hasn't been the thing to truly seal the deal for Weiss, however.

Cardin had been his usual dickheaded self during lunch period, poking fun at the younger students. Yang's little sister had been the object of his afflictions that day, and while Ruby had done her best to brush him off, Cardin kept at it, shoving her not so playfully. 

Yang had stood up and slung her arm over Ruby's shoulders. “You can always count on Cardin to cause a ruckus!” Yang had quipped, side hugging her sister before narrowing her eyes at the older boy. “But do that again and you’ll regret it.”

Yang and Ruby had walked away, big grins on their faces and leaving Cardin rooted and angry. Weiss had watched them move, her cheeks flaming when she realized just how pretty Yang's smile was.

Lucky for them, Velvet swooped in and lead him away before he could cause a bigger issue. Yang and Ruby had made it back to their table unharmed, and from her spot, Weiss watched.

After the run in with Cardin, Weiss began to notice the taller girl with blonde hair, and she realized two things immediately.

One, Yang was the head leader of the school's D&D club. They played every Friday after classes, and practiced most tuesdays. Two, Yang was insanely attractive. 

Trying to come up with ways to get closer to her, Weiss decided to learn all she could about the game, and for the next week, she researched random facts and campaign ideas in between classes.

“I,” she tried and cleared her throat. “Was wondering, if I could, join. Your club.” Yang had looked beyond confused, tilting her head and furrowing her brows.

“The D&D club,” Weiss had explained, getting hotter by the second. Yang slowly looked her up and down before letting out a small snort.

“You don’t look like you play.”

Weiss had flushed in embarrassment and clutched her textbooks closer to her chest. “Are you judging me based on my appearance? That's not very accepting.”

“I guess it’s not,” Yang had replied, her face changing into a smile before looking Weiss straight in the eyes. “Fine then. See you tonight.”

Weiss had felt like her brain had shut down.

“Today?”

Yang smiled, the same expression that had made Weiss notice her in the first place. “No time like the present. Plus we're starting a new campaign.”

She had walked away then, and Weiss had nearly jumped for joy.

Looking back on her first night playing D&D, Weiss had to laugh. It had gone horrendously.

While it started out smoothly, the minute Yang asked for her character name, Weiss had blanked. She picked a random one out of panic, but then Yang had asked for her level and class, and Weiss had broken out into a cold sweat. Nora and Marrow had snickered good naturedly but it didn't change how embarrassed she felt. Marrow, sensing the ruse, attempted to ask her more questions but Yang had waved him and allowed Weiss to simply watch instead of participate.

“Watching is the best way to learn.” Yang had commented, picking up her round of orange dice.

Weiss had tried, really hard, but even after watching intently the whole night, she was still lost.

After the session was over and Nora and Marrow had said their goodbyes, Weiss had apologized profusely. Yang had giggled before turning serious and asked why Weiss would even pretend to be a D&D player if she didn't know how.

“I… needed an excuse to talk to you,” Weiss had whispered, looking down at Yang's boots. “And, D&D is your thing so…”

Yang had placed a hand on her hip and let out a soft laugh. “I’m sure there are other things we can talk about.”

“Really?” Weiss had asked, and Yang had shrugged before giving her that damned smile.

“I’m a handful but so are they, so if you were willing to put up with us and our bullshit, I'd say you deserve some attention.”

Weiss had laughed with relief, so caught up that she hadn’t noticed Yang's lingering stare. The blonde had walked her to Weiss’ car, learning the smallest bits about one another. Weiss found out that both Yang and Ruby were being raised by their dad, and Yang found out while Weiss came from a contained family, they were never home. Weiss learned that Yang loved to play guitar, and Yang found that Weiss was a music enthusiast.

After a while, Yang had wished her a goodnight in a hushed tone, and as Weiss had driven away, she couldn't wipe the smile off her face, and things had only gotten better from there.

Numbers had been exchanged and smoke sessions had occurred. Since her parents were never home, Weiss offered her balcony as a place to hang out, and Yang would often lean against the porch post with a blunt between her fingers that they’d split.

A year into the friendship and Yang had plucked up the courage to ask Weiss out. Of course the white-haired girl had said yes, and Yang had taken her to the movies before getting ramen. Reaching her house, Yang had walked her to the door, still holding her hand before giving it a gentle squeeze. “Did you have fun?”

“The thanks is all mine.” Yang had grinned, her eyes dropping for a moment to their joint hands. She dropped their hands so that she could brush Weiss' bangs from her eyes, tucking the hair behind her ear.

“Will… there be another?” Weiss had asked, hoping she didn't sound too cringy.

Yang had smiled before placing a hand on Weiss’ hip and pulling her forward. “Absolutely another, and then if i’m lucky, one after that.”

Yang had pressed a kiss to Weiss’ forehead. “And another after that,” she’d whispered, and placed a kiss on her cheek. “And maybe even another.”

Pulling her face back, Yang had lifted Weiss' chin with her opposite index finger, and searched her face, eyes so intense it made Weiss’ hands shake, and when Yang had finally kissed her on the mouth, her stomach had flipped.

Weiss had grabbed Yang by the shoulders and pulled her closer, the dim light of the porch  bouncing off their clothing as her lips danced gently against Yang's.

Eventually she had pulled away, finding Yang's cheeks were pink and she was wearing the biggest grin. In that moment, Weiss had felt nothing but adoration and love, and she had pressed a kiss to Yang's cheek. “See you tomorrow?”

Yang had begun beaming as she nodded, shoving her hands in her pockets. “See you tomorrow.”

Returning to the present, Weiss blinks, lets her gaze focus on Yang who is already staring at her.

“What’re you smiling about?” Yang asks with a soft expression, and Weiss notices the game infront of her is nearly forgotten.

“Come on Yang focus!” Nora shouts, the other party members agreeing, but Yang ignores them, her gaze settled on Weiss.

“Nothing,” Weiss says with a little shake of her head. “Tell you later. Promise.”

Yang smiles and leans over to squeeze Weiss’ hand. Even after a year of dating Weiss loves the small acts of affection, and she settles back in her chair to watch them play.

I got accepted into Citrus Con's Artist Alley this year! I had the honor of sharing my wares during the online BL convention last year. I'm excited to do it again this year! I'm hoping to debut physical copies of some BL comics, and if not, digital copies will be fine too. My bootiful patrons will be the first to read them. Starting this month, I'll be dropping pages. Whatever I finish, it's going up.

I think I am ready to take on a slightly longer comic than the short ones I've worked on the past few months. SO, I'll be dusting off this old project that features Masa sparring Ken in a judo match.

April OC Birthdays

April 1st is Satoru's birthday because he's a silly goose. He was featured in my short comic last month, Kiki's Sakura Date Part 1. He'll also show up in Part 2.

VN Development Update | FBW

This month I'm picking up where I left off in developing Froot Basket White! I'll be starting with Sutoro's route, which means his will be the first to release!

I've also decided that for Froot Basket White, I'd like to have some pals onboard to help me create assets, so I'll be hiring peeps to draw the background art, food items, and other things I need assistance with. I'll still be the sprite, CG, and UI artist and writer.

I'd also like to properly have the script proofread before I hand it off to our cast members. And when it comes down to it, I'd like to have the episodes tested before release. I'm excited for this project and I hope I can wrap up the story well!

Other Stuff this Month

I'm sorry, but I am STILL catching up on commissions orz. And because I am an Ainosuke and SK8 simp, I'll be partaking in another Adam Zine. I simply enjoy being in the fandom and seeing and supporting peeps who create in the fandom. And I think Ainosuke is an amazing character and if given any opportunity to support him and other Adam lovers, I WILL BE THERE.

In other news, I'll be on a teeny tiny vacay around mid-April. I won't be taking my tablet or laptop with me, so I won't be able to work on stuff. I'll do my best to build a buffer for May because...

Next Month

I'll be gone the first half of May. I'm peacing out. I'll be spending some time with mi mama. I don't wanna even think about projects or work. In fact, I wanna catch up on a backlog of playing some friend's games and reading some friend's comics and novels.

Clawdia - child crab person from a crab person/human relationship. she has a human exoskin to look like a normal human girl. she insists she is human at first before coming to accept her identity as a crab person not needing to define her, though still wears her exoskin for ease of socialization. she tries to repress the crab people’s monotone voice because it embarrasses her though it slips out sometimes. She was originally brought into south park as a group of ‘new girls’ who were fellow crab children in disguise in an attempt to raid south park elementary, though she became smitten with Kevin Stoley and stood up against the other children for her own freedom because of her overwhelming emotions.

Adrien Mulligan - My version of the New kid from the video games, but more complex than that lol. Where as Nuk (nethernewkid^) is the main protagonist of TSOT, Adrien moves to town during FBW as a secondary protagonist. Adrien and Nuk are best friends, and inherently inseparable. He is a trans guy, selectively mute, and has several real psychic abilities -  telekinesis, psychometry, ergokinesis and psychic persuasion. He is the “Final product of bio-genetic artificial cerebral enhancement IVF testing”, and is linked back to Dr.Mephesto. 

Hershey Thatcher - A revamped old oc previously posted on nethernewkid, and is completely different now. Penguin (gotham) x reader - it would taking place in season 2, when he was still at the top, and reader would be a second most important person to him after his mother, anddd he would go to her and ask her to go to his place on a dinner and he would just, ya know, flash his well-being to reader, and to her it would be silly and cute and there would be smooch on the cheek from reader bc hes the best heheh

Jim Hopper x reader - it would take place somewhere after season 1. He and reader are fbw, and fic is about Jim visitng him, but this time with flowers and wearing his fabulous flanner, and asking her on a date in a 'hopper way' (whats that mean? idk maybe 'if I read the signals wrong then you won't see me again." bc he wants to sacriface himself all the time omg). cute cute

Susan Pevensie x bestie!reader - its day after valentines and both girls are talking about all these chockolates susan got from boys, while eating the same chockolates. Susan probably would feel little bad for eating them, bc she doesnt feel anything to these boys but reader is like 'nah, we dont want to waste them right" and so on

Edmund Pevensie x gf!reader - they are going on a costume party, and at the moment are still at home, and edumnd is going as a king, and reader as a queen and Edmund says something cheesy like "you would be perfect queen for me" or idk just,,, I mean he would think that he would take her as his wife in Narnia when he was a king there, right, and would somehow say that aloud. ANYHOW they would end up beeing blushy mess bc it was so sweet

It's actually good that you send me all the suggestions in one ask - it would be okay too if you send them separately, but I probably won't be linking the asks in suggested fics anymore, so I don't need them that way, and it'll be easier for me to have this just one post. So don't worry! And you don't need to resend anything later (unless you have any new ideas, you can send those!!! haha)

For the reader's gender, I decided I'll write with the female reader more often so it's okay if you see it this way too, but there will be exceptions and I can already see one of your ideas would be an exception. We'll get to that in a while though :D

For the ideas, I really love number 1 and 3-5. Those suggestions are therefore accepted. :D I was going to go into detail why but I feel like I'd be just repeating myself. So yeah, I'll just say that. I'll put them on my to-do list in a moment. ;)

For suggestion 2, I think I'll have to reject it. As much as I love Penguin and Gotham... I don't know, I don't really feel it at the moment. I might come back to it later but not now. This is the idea I'd likely write the gender neutral reader though - coding the specifically as female would feel wrong to me. I won't go into much detail since I don't want to spoil things for you, but people who have seen season 3 probably know what I'm thinking about.

But yeah, 4 out of 5 suggestions are accepted and I actually feel inspired for them so that's good. I should work on everything in the next few days, as well as on my own ideas. He waved and sat next to you, on your injured side.

He looked down at your hand and gently reached down, picking it up and placing it on his lap.

Shouto was quiet for a moment before he spoke.

“I’m sorry (Y/N).”

You smiled.

“Shouto it’s fine, really.”

He sighed.

“You don’t understand, because of me your hand got injured.”

He looked at his own hand glumly.

You snorted and began laughing.

Love the Feral Bruce, I accepted him as my new canon. Hope you don't mind some of my headcanons: Feral Bruce loves literature, especually russian as it's unnecesarilly depressed, dramatic, but nonetheless romantic. His favorite book is "Crime and Punishment" (it should be canon). He also likes poems and sometimes would spontanously read em aloud, like he takes a walk with Sups and suddenly goes (on russian) "Listen! If stars are lit, it means there's someone who need them" and Supes is like ???

I have to admit, I’ve had very little contact with Dostoevsky, but that not only convinced me 200% but also made me want to read Crime and Punishment. And that quote is so perfectly in character for Bruce. It’s such a wonderful mix of romanticism and melancholy... I’m absolutely torn to shreds. “unnecessarily depressed, dramatic, but nonetheless romantic” is THE genre for FBW (or just regular Bruce, let’s be real)

Bruce reading out loud is also such a tender concept to me, too. He feels so intensely, so poetry and literature in general touch and influence him a lot. And the idea that he shares that emotional vulnerability with Clark... tenderness. Lovely. 

Honestly, thank you so much for this, it spooked around my head a lot these past few days. I’ll def come back to this, since I need to do research on tender-melancholic poetry for him to recite...(Also I feel like he might also enjoy expressionistic poetry? All random, heartfelt, feral fragments about doom and love and passion and destruction...) This is such a lovely concept, thank you again!!!! 💝 :’)

Oh boy you’re the first person I’ve seen to label Kevin as “supportive” older bro which is a nice take. Anddd in addition, he’s probably the first to tell Kenny that some of his decisions are questionable.

Y’know, we respect others’ opinions; however I will very vehemently disagree with those slamming Kevin and turning him into Stuart 2.0, especially when we have such limited things to go off for him and the parent we actually see him around most is Carol. Not to mention that love for waffles is wholesome.

Kevin would more than likely just express his care for his siblings differently but that doesn’t invalidate it (or the possibility of it). He doesn’t even have social media I’m not still mad that you can’t be his Coonstagram friend in FBW absolutely no intense bitterness here and his social skills otherwise are a bit limited. That’s probably why Kenny handles the people part, because Kevin knows he cannot do so with much proficiency. He would be the background caregiver who has a hands-off approach for the most part, which works out because Kenny is the complimentary active and hands-on caregiver.

He also would definitely try and guide Kenny out of genuine danger if he felt like Kenny was going too far with reckless behaviour. Like, Kevin might’ve done the same shit already and regrets it, but that also makes his words more meaningful since he understands where Kenny’s coming from and doesn’t want Kenny to have the same issues. Kevin already has to live with it, so why should Kenny join him? He’d want better for his little brother, and little sister too. 

Like, Kevin might’ve even picked up a few bad habits from their parents, possibly to a severe degree at certain points in his life. In that case, though, either Kenny and Karen would intervene so Kevin would clean up–which in the end, Kevin would be thankful for–or Kevin might even seek help himself because he knows Stuart set a shitty example but Kevin doesn’t want to repeat that same shitty example. 

I also pretty much think Kevin was the one who set some of the rules about the McCormicks’ education. Like, Kevin might not have finished high school but Kenny and Karen definitely will, and he probably wants them to both go to college too. He begrudgingly accepts Kenny maybe putting off college a few years to ensure Karen can go without a problem, but he still wants them both to go and pursue a higher education. Hell, Kevin might even hold over Kenny’s head that he might get one after the military because it’d be free, and he’d be real disappointed if Kenny hadn’t beat him to that milestone. 

tl;dr let kevin love his younger siblings the way he loves his waffles

I still sometimes see people asking "is creek really canon or they're just pretending it?" and I hope that in upcoming seasons we would have a quick conversation between them like: Tweek: Craig, do you really love me or you just pretend?... Craig: of course I love you honey, who told you that I'm pretending?!

Hmm I kinda like the subtlety more. But then again the answer to that question has already been answered in FBW, Put It Down and the Season Commentary, and I think that they're pretty blatant about it.

Unfortunately I don't think pure creek fanservice is that entertaining for the other fans, so a line like that would least likely to happen. But there's already enough proof that their relationship is something beyond pretend and if people are still questioning if it's true or not then they're probably not paying that much attention or maybe they just don't want to accept it.
