o em my friend. u already Know. litcherally all of our& founders era muses @ your three darlings ofc ! they've litcherally grown sm im& proud of them. for the sake of my& sanity, i'm& likely gonna be putting your three muses in separate categories so i can think of specific plotlines for em & a general one 4 all three.
general: ik we definitely had plots between your three senju-uzumaki siblings & my& uchiha-senju siblings considering they're third cousins iirc & likely would've grown up together back in the ol' days that i dont think we ever rly got to see sadly but its definitely never too late ! mito ( & perhaps kurama by extension ) with her three babies & toka being a good aunt to them is a given w/o question. toka is the last pureblooded senju woman considering in our& lore the senju clan died out in the male line by the second shinobi world war started & it was entirely ran by women since & toka lives for a very long time & long outlives her cousins (who may as well be her brothers) & mito as well & in her main verse she's still alive by sorcery & not to mention the senju having naturally long lifespans. madara interacting with them would be intriguing for sure, especially considering in our& lore, madara & mito were once madly in love so seeing mito move on with hashirama & how that would be bittersweet for him looking at their children would be very intriguing. i& also have sarutobi sasuke, hiruzen's father who i& barely got to portray sadly, he's a rly iconic character i made from the ground up ! ik you mentioned your babeys wanting to meet other shinobi from other nations & we have the original first generation of the nine jinchuriki fūsa arashi, nii tora, yuki shiro, terumī akane, goemon ishimaru, homatsu mizuto, tamamushi takiko, otenki b & uzumaki mito — all ocs save for mito ofc lmao for that, most of whom are either the biological or adopted children or relative of a kage but not all of them, some are close confidants of other kage. kaguya comes to mind, too, although i think she would manifest in another form. in our& lore, what's also worthy of note is that hashirama, mito & madara left the mainland to hunt & capture the nine bijuu not long after the alliance was sealed & before konoha was founded so that may be an interesting plot point. i& also have muses from other fandoms w/ narutoverse au's like misa amane (death note) & many others & i& also offer my present day era muses which likely would only apply to maeko ! danma: first thing that comes to mind are sarutobi sasuke, hiruzen's father & uchiha kimiko, hikaku & toka's youngest daighter (in our& lore, she's tsunade & nawaki's mother — completely optional w/ this one tho!) & madara. ik you mentioned danma being envious of hiruzen at some point so idk maybe he asks sasuke or maybe even madara to train him. who knows maybe one of my jinchuriki munchkins ended up killing him in war. maeko: ik we mentioned ages ago that aiko & maeko were supposed to have plots together at some point, same thing w/ momoka, takehiko & kimiko. it's been a while tho so we'd def have to check that out. i THIIIIIINK i may have had sasuke have the eight gates technique iirc so idk that may be of interest to you w/ your newer revamped verses. iirc if maeko's the last surviving sibling of the three, toka will definitely grow uber protective of her for sure. kichiroh: first thing that comes to mind is haruka, actually. iirc she ends up joining anbu at some point & she ends up being one of the greatest swordswomen & assassins of her era. who knows they might've been comrades in arms. also, ik you mentioned kiki ends up being assassinated after the destruction of uzushio. in our& lore, yuki shiro, the first jinchuriki of isobu, with the assistance of homatsu mizuto, the first jinchuriki of saiken end up destroying uzushio at the end of the second world shinobi war so idk maybe they played a role in kichi's death. i& also offer kurama by proxy of mito bc i& can definitely see that being a really interesting dynamic to see being portrayed.
Send a " ⭐ " and I will list muses I would be interested in throwing at yours, or potential muse combinations if you are also a multi. If you like any of the suggested combinations, you are welcome to come plot or start interactions with them. || @woodblxssomcrowned || OPEN; ACCEPTING.

How did you come up with Kotaro's zanpakuto? (i really love the bird theme of his attacks!) did you go through a lot of changes when coming up with names, abilities, and the general concept?
Tumblr media
{ ooc } bUCKLE UP KIDDOS ‘CAUSE IT’S TIME FOR SOME LONG OVERDUE GODDAMNED KŌTA META-
Kōta’s zanpakutō was essentially conceived out of my own love for great big storms and heavy winds – and yes, I have a story to go with that! On one occasion many years ago, I hopped on a bus to visit a friend in town, but I was ill-prepared in that it was about to rain heavily and I had jack shit but a jacket. No raincoat and not even an umbrella. I thought I would make it there on time, buuuuut evidently, I did not. It already started raining and thundering hard by the time I walked out of the bus and had to walk a few blocks by myself.
And honestly, Plouton, looking back? I would not have changed a single little detail that day. Those several minutes I spent outside at the mercy of a live thunderstorm left such a huge impression on me! The incessant rain keeping me tethered to the ground, the sheer volume of deafening thunder cracking so hard and so loudly that the air around me quaked... pair that with times I’ve enjoyed feeling myself at the mercy of heavy winds, or even the smell of the outside after rain falls...
Tumblr media
...pretty much all of that served as the biggest source of inspiration behind the wind and storm-oriented zanpakutō, and I wanted Kōta to embody that himself.
Besides, aside from Senna herself in Memories of Nobody, the Gotei 13 lacked a dedicated air-manipulating shinigami barring Kensei’s unique take on the topic with Tachikaze, and we’ve only seen antagonists use this power (Dordoni of the Arrancar within the main story, Kariya if you want to go filler with the Bounts... whom I’ve honestly forgotten about prior to creating Kōta WHOOPS) in the traditional sense. Not to mention, air as an element is SUPER malleable and there’s so much you can do with it if you get creative?? So, given we’ve got some real powerful element-leaning shinigami already with water (lbr Kaien would’ve been a beast had he not been nixed), fire (Yama), snow (Tosh), and electricity (Sasakibe), why not keep adding to the idea?
With that, we’ve got the main concept locked down. Powers and general theme? Check. Bird-like zanpakutō spirit? Check. Defined attacks? ...noooooot quite there yet—in fact, those were a fairly late addition well after the blog reboot. As for what led to it, this never took off since the other mun blipped on an indefinite hiatus, but our thread would have likely turned into a fight thread between our muses and uh...
Tumblr media
...yeah, I realized named techniques are kind of an important thing to have, especially when writing within the context of an action-oriented series like Bleach. It wasn’t just about the cool factor, but having a readily available kit for reference (for myself, my writing partners, and folks reading in) was a must, not to mention it helped better define just what his main friggin’ weapon is capable of like those of most of the existing cast. In case a fight thread does come around in the future, it’d be an ideal thing to have ready to go and bring him further up to par with other fighters!
Just like that, I subjected myself to extra homework. Coming up with the moves themselves came to me simply enough, in seeing how air was played with in other media I was familiar with (key ones being Sonic the Hedgehog, The Legend of Zelda, and Avatar: The Last Airbender) and fashioning some of my own spins on top of some original ideas. I knew I wanted to lean hard on the bird motif since his zan spirit is a tengu, and given the wide variety of things the element of air/wind can do, I thought to make full connections between the two by theming each special move after certain species of bird! Creating those moves and naming them were the easy parts.
Naming them, that is, in English. Naming them all in Japanese was, by far, the hardest part. Why? Parce que je ne suis pas japonais, et aussi parce que je ne parle pas la langue, you see. On top of language barriers, the Japanese tongue operates on a whole other set of rules, compared to the Latin/Germanic-based ones I’ve grown used to with English, French, and (at one point) German. I did take some Japanese classes as an elective back in university, but that was only in first year – my own understanding, as a result, was threadbare and surface level at best, so that was not going to get me anywhere. I did not want to half-ass it with romaji and I love Bleach too much to not want to do these ideas justice.
Tumblr media
I am a stickler when it comes to detail and canon-compliance, so getting the naming right by abiding to the proper conventions as best as I possibly could became my topmost priority. Google Translate was not going to fly because lord knows it’s no good without proper context between wholly different languages in English and Japanese, and it only gets wilder once you throw Chinese into the mix, given I’m supposed to use kanji. Thus, the name of the game here turned out to be “reverse engineering,” and I had to go in accepting I probably wasn’t going to get it 100% right the first time.
“What rules do zanpakutō names and special attack names follow?” “How do I apply on- or kun-reading in spelling out a group of certain kanji?” “Where are the common denominators in those rules that I can identify?” “Which language conventions have I already picked up from watching god knows how much anime over the years that I can replicate?” “Which set of words best conveys this particular English word that has no direct Japanese translation?” “How does [x] roll off the tongue? Does it sound right and fluid enough, or does it still feel super stilted and weird?” It was a loooooooot of this until I was finally satisfied with each individual end result!
Tl;dr: Jisho.org and Wikipedia were godsends during this whole process. I also want to thank @tigrextoque who gave me some helpful pointers after the fact!
Tumblr media
ALSO... the ones on the Battle Info page aren’t even all of the ones I’ve thought about. Because I’m a glutton for punishment apparently, I purposely went and submitted a request for a certain ask meme on an ask meme source blog, JUST so I could play around with more ideas that came or would come to mind. This time, however, it was through the form of COMBINATION ATTACKS (which, by virtue alone, are honestly peak awesomeness). Those that implicated other shinigami got new bird motifs to meld the aesthetics of both muses, while I did get a couple of Quincy ones (with their referenced attacks actually using romaji as a base! Whoo-hoo for saving me the effort!) as a bonus to mix things up!
I’ll link them all right here (and later on the Battle Info page) for your convenience:
Noboru no mai, Shiro Fukurō (騰の舞・白梟, Rising Dance, Snowy Owl), with Rukia Kuchiki
Ahōdori Kyōka: Flying Battery (群烏強化: フライング バッテリー, Albatross Strengthening: Flying Battery) with Bambietta Basterbine
Muragarasu Kyōka: Galvano Volley (群烏強化: ガルヴァノ ボレー, Flock of Crows Strengthening: Galvano Volley), plus upgraded variant Muragarasu Kyōka: Galvano Storm (群烏強化: ガルヴァノ ストーム, Flock of Crows Strengthening: Galvano Storm), with Candice Catnipp
Hagetaka Rinbu (禿鷹輪舞, Vulture Round Dance) with Rangiku Matsumoto
Senkō-fū: Kitsutsuki (穿孔風: 啄木鳥, Drilling Wind: Woodpecker) with Nemu Kurotsuchi
Gyaku-fū Fūsa: Benizuru (逆風封鎖: 紅鶴, Headwind Blockade: Flamingo) with Byakuya Kuchiki
Hikuidori Hinshō (火食鳥 頻傷, Cassowary Frequent Cuts) with Ueno Chie
Yes, “Flying Battery” was a deliberately written Sonic the Hedgehog reference. No, I will never apologize for that.
...might I reblog that meme again in the future though...?
...probably not right away.
Tumblr media
So, uh... Plou, I should probably apologize for giving you a lot more than you likely bargained for, but hey, I just didn’t want to leave any stone unturned! Thank you so much for sending me your three questions, I enjoyed writing these little deep dives into my Bleach OC, and thanks for taking interest in Kōta! I hope all of my responses have been both enlightening and to your satisfaction.

Tōhaku is Nanako and Aoiko’s little adoptive brother. After adopting Nanako and Aoiko, Nebashita and Tōkōmi Ninkawa they took with them little Tōhaku too. Tōhaku is in third grade of Primary School. He’s very outgoing, carefree and lively. He has a very good relationship with his adoptive siblings although, by often getting a lot into trouble and having a similar personalities, he sometimes quarrels with Nanako. His quirk is Amber Clash: he can summon huge amber stones from under the ground. With them he can mostly defend or trap someone. He loves comics and obviously admires cool heros, mostly All Might. Tōhaku given name is composed of the kanji for “ceramic” (陶 to) and “amber” (珀 haku). While his real surname, the one he had before adopting his foster family’s, was Fūsaji which contains “block” (封鎖 fūsa) and “ground” (地 ji). All references to his quirk.

As an Uzumaki, are they proficient in sealing Justus or have an abundance of chakra on reserve?
Tumblr media
No, not really. Zenjiro learned to perform Kongō Fūsa from a scroll, but he was more interested in stealth and speed as his style of fighting. With no one around from his clan to teach him of their abilities and areas of strength, he went off to do his own thing. He is average on chakra reserve, as he prefers taijutsu and kenjutsu over ninjutsu, as he never moved passed using his original chakra nature.

our& first thought is definitely founders era related muses, especially senju tōka & uzumaki mito w/ madara, izuna & tobirama. we& also have sarutobi sasuke, hiruzen's father & legendary warrior & honestly he's kinda iconic & i& barely got to portray him. senju tōka is my& most prominent founders era muse tho bc she actually plays a huge role in konoha's founding & long afterwards & she's a founder in her own right. on top of that we& have the original first generation of the nine jinchūriki, — fūsa arashi, nii tora, yuki shiro, terumī akane, goemon ishimaru, homatsu mizuto, tamamushi takiko, otenki b & uzumaki mito — all ocs save for mito ofc. i& also have the first & only generation of uchiha-senju children — momoka, aiko, akio, haruka, takehiko & kimiko, the children of uchiha hikaku & senju toka, all of whom are technically second cousins to the senju brothers & they all have their own unique plotlines & in our lore are essential to the main storyline at some point later on — momoka is also shisui, sasuke & itachi's maternal grandmother (as they're cousins). kakashi & obito may be interesting & ive& been toying w/ adding nohara rin & uzumaki kushina, uchiha sasuke & uzumaki karin at some point for Testing Poiposes™ so obito, kakashi & suigetsu may have some interest. i& also have konan for nagato / pain. sasori may be of interest to orochimaru, too. ōtsutsuki kaguya comes to mind. we& also have plenty of muses from other fandoms w/ narutoverse aus, particularly misa amane (death note) & gangsta. muses. plenty o' options babeyyyy.
Send a " ⭐ " and I will list muses I would be interested in throwing at yours, or potential muse combinations if you are also a multi. If you like any of the suggested combinations, you are welcome to come plot or start interactions with them. || @hatredcurse || OPEN; ACCEPTING.

@ad-melixra said via Send ⚔️ for me to describe a Combination Attack between our muses (accepting!):
⚔️ + Nemu
Attack Name: Senkō-fū: Kitsutsuki (穿孔風: 啄木鳥, Drilling Wind: Woodpecker)
Attack Range: Long
Attack Description: A Fastball Special move that combines Nemu Kurotsuchi’s Tedoriru and Hai’iro Ranmaru’s Sensui Hayabusa. The technique begins with Kōtarō initiates Sensui Hayabusa, sheathing his active Shikai into its scabbard and preparing to draw it again with devastating force. Once it is ready to be drawn, the superhumanly strong Nemu effortlessly picks up Kōtarō with her right hand, then activates her hand drill to rotate her forearm at incredible speeds. After aiming for their target, she throws Kōta with all her might, who then unleashes Hayabusa proper; the zanpakutō’s sword swing and follow-up air blade curl into the spinning motion, with the resulting twin attacks drilling into the enemy. Just... give Kōtarō a few moments to reorient himself afterwards. Getting spun like that with Tedoriru would mess up anyone’s sense of balance, but for a one-hit kill move, it’s perfect for sniping! With Hayabusa’s attacks now drawn out for longer and spinning into its target like a drill, the resulting Senkō-fū: Kitsutsuki brings to mind the woodpecker, known for drumming its beak relentlessly into trees. A deceptively cutesy name for a deadly combination attack!
⚔️ +Byakuya could be neato
Attack Name: Gyaku-fū Fūsa: Benizuru (逆風封鎖: 紅鶴, Headwind Blockade: Flamingo)
Attack Range: AoE, Short
Attack Description: An interception move that combines Hai’iro Ranmaru’s Sukū Kujaku: Kūkimakura and Senbonzakura’s blade fragments. Byakuya's Senbonzakura is an already incredibly powerful Shikai with an insane reach, capable of giving chase to his foes and shredding them down to nothing. However, wilier foes with considerable speed can still evade the waves of cherry blossom-like blades. That is where Kōtarō comes in, who can provide extra support by running interference with Hai’iro Ranmaru’s defensive Kūkimakura skill. Once set to task, Kōta can set up a series of compressed air walls—nigh invisible to the naked eye—around the battlefield. Should he or Byakuya draw their enemy into one, the accumulated air would blast outward to surprise their foe and throw them off. Once distracted, the target would not be able to defend themselves from Senbonzakura’s onslaught on time! As a master tactician, Byakuya had conceived this technique as an ideal means of combining his and Kōtarō’s powers, and is perceptive enough to properly discern where each compressed air wall is set up and act accordingly. Kōtarō, on the other hand, assumed naming rights, likening Senbonzakura’s plentiful pink-refracting blades to a flock of flamingoes.
