Okay, super weird qn but do y'all ever dream of being your OCs?? Like having dreams where you actually are them and are living through their plot and stuff?
I'm asking this because according to my friends that's not normal
Reblogs are appreciated because the more people who respond to this, the more likely my friends are to believe me when I say I'm totally normal

'Do I know You?' - Finan x Reader
Modern AU
Masterlist
What happens when Finan and the rest of the Coccham Squad hit on you at a bar.
Prompt
Word Count: 798
Warnings: just the guys being drunk idiots
A/N: This is just something short and silly I wrote whilst bored.
You had noticed the group as soon as they came in and you had quickly recognised them. The manbun, the emo, the monk and the Irishman. Youâd seen them in the pub before; they were regulars, every time you came, they seemed to be there. It was always the same; the Irishman and the guy with long hair would start hitting on girls whilst the lad with the bowel cut would get black out drunk and the guy with black hair and eyeliner would sit back and watch the subsequent mayhem unfold. You knew one of them in particular; not that he remembered.
You went to get another drink from the bar, drumming your fingertips impatiently against the table top as you waited in the queue. It was almost your turn to be served when the guy in front of you turned to you with a smirk. There stood the Irishman, hair unkept and unruly as always. âIâll have another beer please and one of whatever this lady would like.â
âPink Gin and Lemonade please â double, seeing as Iâm not paying,â you tell the guy behind the bar, throwing your own smirk the Irishmanâs way.
âI hope you donât mind me paying for your drink,â the Irishman said with a charming smile as he carried both of your drinks to a nearby table. âItâs just youâre absolutely stunning and I couldnât resist,â he flirted, his eyes scanning you face.
âItâs your money, you can waste it if you wish,â you reply airily, pretending not to be affected by his charm â of course you were, he was gorgeous.
âAnd why would it be money wasted? Iâm talking to you, arenât I?â
âI suppose.â
âIâm Finan,â he said as he held out his hand for you to shake, which you did. You had known his name already, but you didnât let on. Instead you smiled sweetly at him. âWhatâs your name if you donât mind me askinâ?â
âY/N,â you reply, eyeing him carefully. His brow furrowed slightly and he tilted his head in thought.
âIâm sorry,â he half laughed, âbut⊠do I know you?â
You waited to answer until he took a sip of his drink. âYes,â you replied casually, âwe had sex.â You had timed it perfectly and as you had hoped he choked on his drink, causing a smug smile to grow on your face.
âOh,â he managed, red creeping up his neck, his growing embarrassment obvious. âItâs, err, great to see you againâŠâ he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.
âYou too, Finan,â you smile. âItâs a shame you didnât, I donât know, call me like you said you would.â
âYeah⊠sorry about that.â
âOh, itâs fine,â you reassure him. You wait until he takes another sip of his drink before adding; âshame about the baby though.â To your delight his reaction is even more comic than the first, spluttering liquid down his shirt, causing you to cry with laughter. âDonât worry, Iâm messing with ya!â
Finan sighed in relief and looked like he was going to say something when his friends decided to make an appearance. They seemed to be completely pissed, especially the one that looked like a monk who seemed to be on the verge of collapse. âWhoâs your friend, Finan?â the one with long hair asked.
âThis is Y/N,â Finan answered, giving his friends a weary look.
âNice to meet you, Y/N â Iâm Uhtred. Now, you must be blind or desperate to be talking to Finan, here, but if you see sense and decide you want a real man, Iâm sure one of us would happily-â
âOkay thatâs enough,â Finan interrupted, shoving his friends back in the direction of their table.
âIt was nice meeting you, Y/N,â the one with eyeliner told you with a smile, âIâm Sihtric. Uhtred and Finan think theyâre great with girls, but as you can see, they are severely mistaken. At least theyâre better than Osferth,â he jerked his head towards the monk he was supporting from falling over, âheâs a virgin!â
âIâm not!â Osferth slurred, hitting Sihtric in the arm. Sihtric flashed you a smile before turning to follow Uhtred back to their table.
âIâm sorry about that,â Finan told you sheepishly once they had gone, âand for, wellâŠ. everything. Iâm an arsehole.â
âYou are,â you reply with smirk. âBut if Iâm being honest, I canât remember much from that night either â I was pretty pissed! I do, however, seem to remember it being really fun, so if youâve had enough of these idiots,â you said as you nodded towards his friends, âdo you want to come back to mine? Perhaps this time youâll actually call me, like you promised.â
âIâd love to, Y/N,â he grinned as he followed you out of the pub.

Dib x Male!Reader, but Zim also had feelings for y/n, maybe something similar to the Tak episode but Zim genuinely likes them
You got it, friend!!
Here is the song I used btw
Ever since your first day of Skool, you could tell right off the bat that both Zim and Dib liked you.
Zim was always blushing and stuttering around you. And Dib would cut his paranormal rants short the moment you walked into class.
It wasnât long before you decided to talk to them.
You decided to start with Dib since he seemed easier to approach.
After sitting with him at lunch, you and Dib quickly became the best of friends.
You found his knowledge of the paranormal endearing and actually enjoyed going cryptid hunting together!
You never once called him weird nor creepy! Hell, you even stuck up for him whenever someone bullied him.
However, you drew the line at exposing Zim.
You felt like Dib was being a bit too hard on Zim.
Thus you decided it was finally time to talk to Zim.
Unfortunately, Dib was less than thrilled and would constantly try to keep you away from him.
Luckily the next day, Dib seemed to be absent. Â As much as you hoped he was alright, you decided to use the opportunity to have a chat with Zim.
You found him sitting by himself at lunch. Â He gave his lunch tray a sniff before recoiling in horror.
âHey, can I sit with you?â
The sound of your voice caught Zim off guard.
âIâM PERFECTLY NORMAL!â Zim screeched as he jumped up onto the table.
âIâŠdidnât say you werenâtâŠ.â
âOh, you didnât? Well why else are you here Y/N-Beast?! Come to bring me to the Dib-monkey?!â Zim asked as he poked your chest.
âNo! No! Iâve actually been trying to convince Dib to stop calling you an alien.â You explained gently.
âEh? Really?â Zimâs eyes narrowed.
âYes, really! I want to show him that youâre not an alien!â You confirmed with a nod.
âWell then, strangely attractive human-worm beast! I shall give you all the proof you need!â
And with that, Zim sat back down and picked up his spoon.
âWitness my perfectly normal bean-chewing!â
After making sure you were looking, Zim gingerly took a heaping spoonful of beans and slowly led it to his mouth.
His arm shook as his face begun to sweat. Zim fought back the urge to vomit as he shoved the beans into his mouth.
Zim sounded like he was dying as he struggled to choke down the beans.
âYou see? IâmâŠperfectly..ACK!!!!â
You let out a gasp as Zim fell backwards out of his seat.
âYummyâŠ.â  He whimpered weakly.
You rushed over to check on Zim and let out a gasp of horror!
There, sprawled out on the floor, was a horrifically disfigured Zim.
His head was so swollen it throbbed as a glowing green substance oozed out of it! Â Zimâs breathing was heavy as his worm like tongue hung out of his mouth.
âOh god! Zim!â
Without thinking, you dove behind the table, scooped up Zim, and rushed him out of the lunchroom.
âDonât worry, Zim! Iâll get you to the nurse! Sheâll know what to do!â You reassured as you kept running.
âNoâŠNurseâŠ.â
Zimâs words made you stop dead in your tracks.
âNo nurse?â
âTake meâŠ.toâŠlockerâŠâŠâ Zim begged as he coughed up more ooze.
âOhh-kay thenâŠâ
After bringing Zim to his locker, Zim slid out of your arms, opened it, and pulled out a large strange-looking pump.
Before you could even blink, Zim put the pump on his head.
SLURP! SLURP! SLURP!
The pump slowly drained the ooze from Zimâs head and emptied it into a clear container.
Zim panted as he removed the pump and pulled out a can of soda from his PAK.
âAre you ok?â You asked as you gave Zim a concerned look.
âOf course I am! Zim is always fine-â Zim took a sip of his soda- âI just simply had a perfectly normal human allergic reaction!â
âErrâŠOk then⊠Are you sure you donât need to see the nurse?â
Zim quickly finished his soda before acknowledging your question.
âWhat? Oh right! Worry not, Y/N-beast! Zim is perfectly fine! No need to get the nurse involved.â Zimâs voice quivered as he flicked his wrists.
âWell glad to see youâre ok. I guess this happens to you a lot since you have that pump thingy,â You noted as you rubbed the back of your head.
âYep but thanks to my SUPERIOR healing skills I recover quickly!â Zim boasted as he put a hand on his chest.
You couldnât help but chuckle at Zimâs over the top behavior.
You decided to hang out with Zim for the rest of the day. Â
Zim was actually a very interesting guy! He even shared your sense of humor!
You couldnât understand why Dib kept accusing Zim of being an alien. If anything, Zim was just a little weird. Being weird doesnât make anyone an alien right?
Zim found himself growing fond of you as well!
He hadnât expected a human to be so interesting! Let alone so attractive and kind!
The longer he talked with you the more Zimâs PAK sparked! Â
His feelings were scary and confusing but Zim never wanted them to go away!
No matter how his squeedillyspooch fluttered, Zim just couldnât resist you!
Zim found himself wanting you to stay by his side longer and longer!
When the Skool day came to an end, Zim practically floated all the way back to his base.
âGah! Look at me! Iâm feeling allâŠtingly..and sparky! Iâm becoming weakâŠ.Y/N mustâve given me some kind of Urth illness!â Zim threw off his disguise,  âComputer! Preform a bioscan for any illnesses!â
âSCANNINGâŠ.SCANNING!!!!â
ZAP!
âBIOSCAN COMPLETE! NO ILLNESSES FOUND!â
âWHAT?! IMPOSSIBLE! Why else would I be feeling allâŠmushy and stuff?!â Zim whined as he gestured to himself.
âI DONâT KNOWâŠMAYBE YOU JUST LIKE Y/N?â
âLIES!!! I-â
âNya!â
Zim was cut off by Minimooseâs tiny voice piping up.
âEh? How can having FILTHY FEELINGS for Y/N possibly be a good thing?!â Zim demanded as he shot Minimoose a glare.
Minimoose was unfazed by their Masterâs outburst.
âNya!â
âUse Y/N to help keep up appearances?â Zim hummed as a large grin spread across his face.
âYesâŠ.That just might work!â
The next day, you told Dib everything that had happened at lunchtime.
âY/N! How could you help him?! He was probably trying to trick you or something!â Dib scolded as he threw his hands into the air.
âDib, I couldnât just let him leak all that goo everywhere!â You huffed as you folded your arms.
âDid you at least get any-HEY!â
Dib was cut off by Zim shoving him aside
âY/N-Beast! I have come to offer you the most AMAZING opportunity you will ever receive in your inferior human existence!â Zim announced dramatically as he pointed to the ceiling.
Caught off guard by Zimâs interruption, you simply blinked in surprise.
âFrom the moment weâve met youâve proven yourself to be a worthy ally! Your physical appearance is pleasing and I can tolerate your presence! Therefore I now bestow upon you the honor of being MY LOVE PIG!â Zim sang as he threw his hands into the air.
You opened your mouth to speak but Dib piped up.
âNO! Y/N! DONâT LISTEN TO HIM! ITâS PROBABLY A TRAP!â Dib wailed as he sprung in front of you.
âTRAP?! I can assure you this offer is no trap! Y/N, YOU are the only one worthy of being my love pigâ Zim cleared his throat, âSo what do you say?â
You tired to speak but yet again, Dib cut you off.
âHe says no! You can pick on me, Zim but I wonât let you hurt Y/N! I care about him far too much!â Dib snarled as he jammed a finger into Zimâs chest.
âYOU DARE SUGGEST THAT I WOULD HURT Y/N?! IâM OFFENDED YOU WOULD EVEN THINK I WOULD DO SUCH A THING!â Zim roared as he swatted Dibâs hand away.
âWhy do you care so much about Y/N anyway?! I thought your kind didnât need anyone!â Dib growled.
âI think the real question is why do you care about Y/N so much, Dib-worm?!â Zim snapped as he snapped a finger in Dibâs face.
âBecause IâŠ..Because IâŠ.â Dib trailed off as his words got caught in his throat.
âBecause you what?â
âBecause I love him ok?!â Dib gasped as he quickly clamped his hands over his mouth.
You nearly stumbled backwards at the confession while Zim simply stared at Dib incredulously.
Zim shook away his shock and let out a giggle. The giggle grew and grew until he burst into a full on fit of laughter.
Dibâs face glowed bright red as he tried to sink into his coat.
âOh, you hideous fool! You canât possibly love Y/N!â Zim wheezed as he wiped away a few tears.
âOh yeah?! And just why not?!â
âBecause I love Y/N more than your big smelly head can comprehend!â Zim cackled as he threw his hands in the air.
âNo way! I love Y/N more! You probably donât even know what love is!â Dib snarled as he glared into Zimâs eyes.
âGRARGH!! I LOVE Y/N MORE AND I CAN PROVE IT!â
Before Dib could say another word Zim trotted up to you and cleared his throat.
âConquering worlds is what makes me feel alive! Itâs the life I decide as I destroy everything in sight! But when Iâm by your side, your voice sounds ever so kind. Itâs whatâs guiding me and gives me peace of mind!â
Zim gave you a wink before dramatically putting a hand on his forehead.
He imagined himself as the ruler of Urth as flames rained down from the sky!
âDoom from above is all that Iâm dreaming of! But you showed me a world beyond the skies that I can touch! From that day ever more I felt my insides so brightly beating! Bursting with this lovey-dovey feeling now!â
The flames turned into heart bubbles as Zimâs fantasy came to an end.
Zim took your hands in his and gently spun you around.
âAll I need to survive is to be right by your side! Itâs the pulse through the night that sets my soul alight! Canât believe even me could laugh on so easily as Iâm taken by the beat in the quantum breeze!â
Zim tried to twirl you into his arms only to find that Dib had pulled you out of his grip.
Zim let out a low growl as he tried to glare in Dibâs direction, only to gasp as Dib darted down the hall with you in tow.
Once Dib was certain you and he were far enough away from Zim, he took your hands in his and gazed into your eyes.
âAll that I know is that I hate being alone. Cause wherever I go thereâs the fear Iâll end up on my own so, Right by my side take my hand and hold it tight. Cause itâs you that is guiding me and gives me peace of mind!â
Dib hung his head low as he remembered how poorly he was treated by his peers and his family.
âWhen Iâm all alone Iâm just nothing but a joke, but you gave me hope and validation even so!â
Dibâs face lit up as he looked back up at you.
âFrom that day ever more I felt my heart so brightly beating bursting with this lovey-dovey feeling now!â
Dib gripped your hands tighter and pulled them closer to his chest.
âAll I need to survive is to be right by your side! Itâs the pulse through the night that sets my heart alight! Canât believe even me could laugh on so easily as Iâm taken by the beat in the quantum breeze!â
You opened your mouth to speak again when-
FWOOM!
Zim had activated his PAKâs jets and was zooming down the hall.
Before you could even process what was happening, Zim scooped you up and made his getaway.
âHey! Let Y/N go, Zim!â Dib demanded as he chased after him.
âHa! Now youâre all- ACK!â
CLANG!
Zim crashed into a nearby pole, causing you to fall out of his arms.
âDonât worry, Y/N! Iâve got you!â Dib reassured as he quickly caught you.
âT-Thanks for the saveâŠâ Was all you could utter as your mind struggled to process what was happening.
âLetâs get you to safety.â
And with that, Dib ran as fast as his legs could take him.
Unfortunately, Zim quickly peeled himself off of the pole and followed suit.
âRETURN MY Y/N YOU INFERIOR STINK WORM!!â Â Zim roared as he picked up the pace.
Dib was unfazed by Zimâs threats and continued running.
He swerved around poles, he jumped over random pieces of trash on the floor, and he even plowed by the other students.
Zim struggled to dodge the obstacles but continued his chase.
Eventually Dib found himself running out of breath.
He stopped behind a locker to catch his breath before looking down at you.
âAll I need to survive is to be right by your side. itâs the pulse through the night that sets my heart alight-â
SWIPE!
Zim swooped in and snatched you out of Dibâs arms.
âCanât believe even me could laugh on so easily! Like an angel in the sky flying high and free!â
Dib let out a growl and tried to out-sing Zim as he gave chase once more.
âAll I need to survive is to be right by your side! Itâs the pulse through the night that sets my heart alight! Canât believe even me could laugh on so easily as Iâm taken by the beat in the quantum breeze!â
Eventually, Dib managed to chase Zim into a corner.
âItâs over, Zim! Thereâs nowhere left for you to hide!â Dib announced dramatically.
Zim opened his mouth to speak but you finally managed to get a word in
âSTOP!!! Guys! I love you both ok?! Canât you guys just share me or something?!â
âWHAT?!â Zim and Dib exclaimed simultaneously.
âME?! SHARE WITH THE HORRIBLE DIB-STINK?! NEVER!â Zim snarled as he clung to you protectively.
âY/N! Have you gone crazy?! Thereâs no way Iâll share with an evil alien monster!â Dib snarled as he folded his arms.
âEither you two share me or I wonât date either of you!â You threatened and you turned up your nose.
Zim and Dib exchanged horrified looks.
âUgh! Fine! Iâll share you with ZimâŠâ Dib sighed as he hung his head.
âWhat about you, Zim?â You asked sweetly.
Zim growled for a moment  before his face softened a bit.
âOh-kayâŠ.But I get to hold your superior hand!â
âGreat! Can you put me down now?â You asked gently.
âOh yeah, of course.â Zim muttered casually as he slowly landed and released you from his grip.
You wobbled a bit as you regained your balance.
âThanks for being such good sports, guys! I promise neither of you will regret this!â
And with that, you pulled Zim and Dib into a group hug and gave them each a kiss on the cheek.

Reluctant Jealousy
This was prompted by a lovely anon! Sorry again for being late, but this was really fun to write!
Fandom: Detroit become human | Ship: Reed900, Allen60
âHey, Nines, Iâm heading out!â The android smiled at the manâs call and stopped drying the dishes to go to the door and give Gavin a quick hug. They had just finished dinner and instead of their usual routine of watching a movie and relax from the day, Gavin had decided to spend the evening outside with some friends. âHave fun!â, Nines said with a grin. âCall me if you need someone to pick you up.â âI will. Sorry to leave you with all this mess.â âDonât worry. I will enjoy a bit of piece and quietâ, he joked, but pressed a kiss to his forehead before watching his human enter an automated taxi and waving him goodbye.
Nines shook his head, glad that Gavin finally worked on getting to know new people. The Detective had admitted himself Nines had changed his stance at pushing everyone away, although he wouldnât suddenly be the most social person either. It was a good development and it gave the android the opportunity to get a bit of work done without being distracted by his beautiful human.
-
It was late at night and Captain Allen wasnât able to fall asleep. Sixty was lying next to him in motionless stasis. Allen had been able to fake a smile and reassure the android that all was fine, but now his worry didnât leave him. He shouldnât think like this. He should trust Sixty. He shouldnât be jealous of something that could as well have an easy explanation. He should know that Sixtyâs love was real and that there was no way he would ever do what Allen thought of. Â But he was only human. Logic sometimes lost to emotion.
He had watched Sixty drive off and had spent the evening reading and cleaning a bit. At that moment he had realised they were a bit short on groceries and that he could as well use the time to get some shopping done. It was in the parking lot that his heart missed a beat. Sixty was sitting at a small cafĂ©, drinking coffee-flavoured thirium. Opposite to him, Detective Reed, the biggest asshole the police department could complain about, sat. They were spending time together. They had had fun, laughing and joking. It was normal. That was just a normal thing to do. Sixty could spent time with other people. Allen definitely didnât want to be one of those partners that kept their significant other away from life if it wasnât life with them. And⊠friends hugged sometimes, yes? That had been one of these friendly hugs, not one of⊠No. Sixty wouldnât hide something like that from him. And Gavin⊠Wasnât he with that new RK over there? RK900? What was his name? Hank had told him after a meeting that Gavin had found someone. Or rather that the new android took to him and stuck to him like fleas to a stray dog. Apparently saved him from loneliness if Hank was to be believed. That wasnât a small thing to do. Was the infamous man that much of an asshole to throw it away? Was this RK900 fine with it?
No matter what the truth would be, Allen didnât want to confront Sixty. He felt ashamed for thinking Sixty had betrayed him and he didnât want the android to know he doubted him if it turned out to be just a friendly interaction. Then and there, he decided to pay the new android in the police side of the building a visit.
-
Nines looked up as someone approached his desk. It was break time and although most people were taking their breaks relatively flexible, Gavin always liked to be overly correct with his break. So if it wasnât his partner, who would pay him a visit? Expecting Hank or Connor, he frowned as his scan turned back with a different result. âCaptain Allen. Thatâs a surprise. What can I help SWAT with?â The other looked nervous and Nines guessed they needed help with a risky mission. He knew they had Sixty over there, but well, the RK900 was the soldier unit, not the RK800. âErr⊠Yes⊠Hello. I donât think we met before. You are the android that partnered up with Detective Reed?â âYesâ, the android nodded. âRK900 unit, Detective Nines.â âIâm sorry, I have to admit Iâm here on a personal topic. Has Gavin mentioned Sixty lately?â That confused Nines even more. âNo, why should he?â âListen, I donât want to ruin anything, I just worry, okay? Sixty and me⊠Well, we are in a relationship not that different to yours and Gavinâs I suppose, but⊠Iâve seen him with Gavin and I suppose they met more than just once. I donât want to imply Gavin or Sixty betrayed us, but⊠well, I just wanted to ask if you knew anything.â
Nines immediate reaction to that would have been laughter and then a very angry âget lostâ, but the Captain really looked concerned and from what he heard about the man he usually had been right with his gut feelings in the past. âWell, I donât know more than you do. I didnât know he met with Sixty. He just told me he met with friends when leaving and I support that. I donât think he would lie to me. He knows he can share anything with me and he usually does, even if that means hours of arguing afterwards.â That had Allenâs shoulders sag in disappointment and Ninesâ eyes fell on the two persons coming out of the breakroom, each with one cup of coffee in hand.
-
Gavin had been surprised to meet Sixty during his break. Usually SWAT stayed on their side of the building except for missions or when their coffee-machine broke. That had been how they initially met, the android cursing heavily trying to figure out how theirs worked. It was an old one that was quite stubborn if you didnât know how on what side to put some pressure so it would close correctly. Gavin had planned to wait it out amused by what he had thought to be Connor struggling. But those curses were nothing like the occasionally boring âshitâ from the puppy-eyed tin-can. No, the creativity of those rivalled his own. So, on his mission to hand the title of having the least friends in the precinct to officer Person, he decided to help out.
After that they got to know each other outside of work and it turned out neat. Although he was an android, Gavin concluded he wasnât that bad. Especially as the RK800 had been predisposed to become a Connor and ended up being so much more of a Gavin is almost seemed impossible. Sixty even was better, resorting to more intelligent ways to phck people over than he could have ever imagined.
So it had been a pleasant surprise to meet the android here. âCoffee-machine broke again?â, Gavin chuckled, seeing Sixty expertly hitting, then pressing the right spot to let the compartment slide in perfectly smooth. âOh, hi Gavin! No, Allen just wanted to speak to someone. Why he didnât email is beyond me, but hey, got to see the boring side of the building again.â âHeh, as if your side was that different.â âWell, we donât have you or Connor, soâŠâ Gavin laughed, elbowing the machine lightly, as there would be no give at all. He had made that mistake once and ended up with a pretty bruise. Never again. The coffee was finished and Sixty began pouring a cup. âYou want one too?â âThe day I donât want coffee, Iâm deadâ, Gavin chuckled, but nodded a thanks. âShould get back to Nines, he doesnât take kindly to being left with the boring stuff.â âYeah, I bet he does. âHey, Sixty, you are so much faster with that, why donât you do it?ââ He laughed, shutting down the perfect voice imitation of his partner. âMaybe because I want a challenge for once? By the way, whereâs he? Canât take that long to speak with someone.â
They left the breakroom and froze, as they saw both their partners talking to each other, looking⊠Well, not happy at all. They looked at each other, before continuing walking towards the desks. Meanwhile Allen had turned and under Nines watching eyes, Gavin suddenly felt even smaller.
âErr⊠Whatâs that all about? SWAT need something?â, the human tried to play it down as both of them stayed quite. âGav, I-â âSixty,-â The two looked at each other, then Nines continued. âTo be plain, we just wanted to ask what is going on between you two. Because whatever it is, we would like to know.â âWhat the-â, Gavin begun, but Sixty didnât let him speak, his voice sounding surprised an more than just a bit angry: âAre you two idiots really thinking we are dating?â
There were a few minutes of silence then, until Allen spoke up hesitantly. âWell, I saw you meeting Gavin in a cafĂ© while shopping and you kind of hugged and-â âPeople can hug for fucks sake! Doesnât mean I end up in bed with⊠urghâŠâ âI know! I know, it was just that-â âJoseph. I love you more than anything on this world. That will never change. Gavin is just a very competent Detective and itâs fun to be around him. We are just friends. I would never betray you. And I am most definitely not dating Gavin.â He quickly turned to the Detective apologetically. âSorry, man, just⊠no.â Gavin lifted his hands in defence. âHey, dude, same. I donât want anyone but Nines. Just, hey, babe, please understand, my ego can only take so much praise until I have to ground myself around assholes like me. I will always be yours, because I am safe with you and you care. We are just friends, nothing more.â
âAnd I am happy for youâ, Nines was quick to reassure. âIt was just that the Captain was worried and normally has a really good take on situations andâŠâ âThis has been a huge misunderstanding thenâ, Allen sighed. âSixty, Iâm sorry. I shouldnât have doubted you.â âJoseph, itâs fineâ, Sixty said calmly. âI mean I guess I could have told you, just didnât thought is was that important.â Although the situation had been resolved and all parties were reasonably relieved now the atmosphere of awkwardness hung over them and Gavin really didnât want that feeling to linger. So, he took initiative and suggested: âHey, maybe we could just forget this happened and next time, we meet all four? Could be fun?â Allen was the first to agree, happy to take the attempt of getting back to normal. âThatâs a great idea. I mean, Nines, we never met before, so this may be a better way to get to know each other instead of overthinking our partnersâ life decisions.â That made the android smile. âAs long as Sixty isnât as nerve-wrecking as Connor, Iâm in.â âDid you just insult me?â

Jughead//One Last Goodbye (Part 2)
Request:Â Can you do one with a happier ending with Lodge reader?
part 1
The early sunlight streamed in through the half closed curtains in Jugheadâs room and you sighed. Turning over to face your boyfriend, well ex-boyfriend, you were surprised to find he was already staring at you.
âJug?â You questioned and he smiled sadly at you, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. âWhat are you doing?âÂ
âEnjoying this while I can.â He replied and you looked at the duvet, pulling a piece of string from it.Â
âIâm sorry.â
âItâs not your fault your dadâs a psycho.â He shrugged and you giggled a little. âIâm gonna miss you.â He said and you stopped laughing.Â
âMe too.â You replied. âBut weâre gonna still see each other like every single day.â You tried to make him, and yourself feel better.Â
âItâs not gonna be the same though is it?âÂ
âNo.â You shook your head, willing the tears away. âCome on. We need to get ready for school.âÂ
âJust where I went to spend my day.â He grumbled and stood up.Â
-------
âIâll err see you around.â Jughead said awkwardly. The ride to school had been odd to say the least. Usually you would mess around, sing to each other and laugh, but today the two of you rode in silence. The weather outside reflected your mood perfectly. Dull and grey, but it was better to look at than the sad expression etched on Jugheadâs face.Â
You nodded before the two of you went your opposite ways.Â
âWhere have you been?â Your sister asked, stopping in front of you. Concern was filling her eyes as she looked at you. âDadâs been flipping all night.âÂ
âOh, you know. Just spending one last night with my boyfriend before our dad locks me away in a tower for the rest of my life.â You replied sarcastically and started to walk down the corridor.Â
âY/n.â She said sadly and walked beside you. âIâm really sorry.âÂ
âIts not your fault.â You shrugged.Â
âI tried to talk some sense into him but you know what heâs like.âÂ
âYep.â You mumbled.Â
âAt least Jughead hasnât fled town. Youâll still get to see him everyday.â She tried to make you feel better.Â
âI suppose so.â You said, your voice void of any emotion. Veronica sighed and rubbed your arm sympathetically.Â
âWeâll figure this out.âÂ
âWhatever.â You shrugged and walked passed her into your class. On the way in you bumped into Jughead and the two of you stared at each other for a few seconds before you snapped yourself out of it.Â
---------
Slowly lunchtime rolled round and every second that passed made you more miserable.Â
You were sat at the lunch table, Jughead was on the opposite side of the table, and the rest of your friends were sat around the two of you.Â
âWeâre gonna figure this out. Iâm not letting our dad keep another couple apart. He already put me and Archie through hell. Iâm not letting him do it to my baby sister.â Veronica said angrily.Â
âIts fine Ronnie.â You said quietly.Â
âYeah, just leave it.â Jughead added and you sent a small smile his way.Â
âNo!â She said.Â
âWeâre not standing for it.â Archie added.Â
âYeah. You two are perfect for each other.â Betty continued. âPlus youâve been miserable all day and itâs only lunchtime.âÂ
âWeâll figure out what to do.â Archie said.Â
âWeâll look at all your options.â Veronica squeezed your hand.Â
âYou could get emancipated.â Betty suggested.Â
âCanât.â You shook your head. âVeronica already tried.âÂ
âWhen?â Archie asked.Â
âI think I was about 7.â She replied.Â
âOh.â Archie looked at her surprised. âYou could runaway.âÂ
âHow well did that work for you?â Jughead asked sarcastically.Â
âFair enough.â He replied.
âYou could...â Veronica trailed off. âI dunno. Iâm all out of idea.â She sighed.Â
âMe too.â Betty agreed.Â
âMe three.â Archie added.Â
âI think we just need to accept it.â You sighed.Â
âWeâll just have to be star crossed lovers thatâll get together when weâre 32, both divorced with three children between us. Our eyes will meet across the room at a mutual friends wedding and weâll end the night in each others arms in one of our hotel rooms.â He joked and you laughed.Â
âIâll look forward to it.â You smiled at him and stood up. âBut until then, I think Iâm just gonna go be depressed. See you guys later.â You grabbed your lunch tray and started to walk away. âOh and V?âÂ
âYeah?âÂ
âTell dad I hate him.âÂ
âHappily.âÂ
--------
âI thought Iâd find you here.â Jugheadâs voice pulled you from the homework you were trying to do and you looked up at him. He was smiling softly at you and your heart ached at the sight.Â
âThis is usually where I go when Iâm sad.â You pointed to the little alcove right in the corner of the school.Â
âI know.â He replied. âThis is where we first met.âÂ
âYeah.â You smiled at the memory. âI was upset about moving and you found me crying because Veronica had already started to fit it.âÂ
âAnd then I told you stupid jokes until you felt better.âÂ
âI only laughed because I was starting to pity you.âÂ
âAnd that set the tone for the rest of our relationship.â The two of you laughed softy before he sat beside you.Â
âVery true.â You agreed and leaned your head on his shoulder. âThis sucks.âÂ
âBig time.â He agreed and wrapped an arm around you.Â
âDo you think weâll get back together?â You asked.
âI dunno. Is your dad planning on having a personality transplant in the near future?â He asked sarcastically.Â
âI donât think so.â You sighed.Â
âProbably not then.â He said sadly. âBut like I said last night, Iâll spend the rest of my life waiting for you if I have to.âÂ
âAnd like Iâve said a million times, youâre an idiot.â You rolled your eyes.Â
âI know.â He replied. âBut only for you.â He added and pressed a soft kiss to your lips. âY/n?âÂ
âYeah?âÂ
âA bear walks into a bar and asks for a whiskey...and coke. The bartender asks âwhy the long pause?â and the bear replies, âIâm not sure; I was born with them.ââ He grinned and you groaned.Â
âThat was awful.â You shook your head.Â
âIt was not.â He argued.Â
âIt was.âÂ
âIt wasnât.â He continued and you raised an eyebrow. âOkay fine. Knock, Knock.âÂ
âNot another one.âÂ
âIâm not stopping until youâve cheered up.âÂ
âFine.â You sighed. âWhoâs there?âÂ
--------
âHello?â You answered your phone and looked at the alarm clock on your bedside table. 4:13am. Who the fuck is ringing at this time?
âY/n?â
âJughead? What do you want?â You asked groggily.Â
âRun away with me?âÂ
âWhat?â Your eyes widened. You were now fully awake, and very confused as to what was happening. âAm I dreaming?â Â
âNo.â He replied. âLook out your window.â Slowly you stood up and walked to the other side of your bedroom. Pulling the curtain open slightly, you saw the silhouette of Jughead standing on the street and looking up. He gave you a bright smile once he saw you.Â
âJughead. What are you doin-âÂ
âIs it a yes?âÂ
âWhat?âÂ
âRun away with me?â He repeated his question.Â
âYouâre being serious?âÂ
âOf course.â He nodded. âListen, I know I said I would wait for you, not matter how long it takes. And believe me Iâm looking forward to that mutual friendâs wedding.â He joked. âBut I donât want to wait for the rest of my life. I want you, and I want us now and forever. Please?â He asked.Â
âYes.â You smiled and he looked at you shocked.Â
âReally?âÂ
âYes. Iâll run away with you. I love youâÂ
âOkay.â He said excitedly. âRight. Get your stuff.â He told you. âI love you.â He added quickly.
âI love you too.â You laughed before hanging up.Â
Five minutes later you were packed and about to leave.Â
âWhere are you going?â Someone asked and you froze by the front door.Â
âV. Iâm leaving.âÂ
âWhat? Why?â She asked upset.
âMe and Jughead are leaving together. Iâm really sorr-â
âI understand.â She replied.Â
âI would have done the same thing.â She said. âBut please donât forget about me.â She hugged you tightly.Â
âI donât think anybody could.â You teased. âI love you.â You told her.
âI know.â She laughed. âWho wouldnât?âÂ
âDonât change.âÂ
âI wouldnât dream of it.â She said. âI love you too.â She gave you one last hug before letting go and softly pushing you out the door.Â
âDid you manage to sneak out unnoticed?â Jughead asked once you got in the car.Â
âVeronica was there but she was cool with it.â You replied.
âYou donât have to leave if you donât want to.âÂ
âI want to.â You reassured him and kissed him.Â
âMarry me?âÂ
âWhat?âÂ
âIs that too soon?â He asked panicked.Â
âWeâre already running away together, what the hell?â
âIs that a yes?â He asked confused.Â
âYes.â You laughed. âNow drive before my dad wakes up.âÂ
âRight. Yes. Of course.â He started the engine. âWhere do you wanna go?âÂ
âSomewhere where we donât have to say goodbye ever again.âÂ

The College Society Chapter 1 Part 3
Hi :) Here is the next part, sorry for the little delay !
Enjoy :3
Liam Saturday September 9 â Sunday September 10
Pasta's Place was a rather famous restaurant in town. Located near to his appartement, it was a nice and wide building, which probably could host more than one hundred of customers at one time. By the way, Liam didn't want to work here at first, but he needed money. The boss and owner, Shannon Liliano, was the sister of Mrs. Liliano, who owned a bakery in his highschool's town, and thanks to his mother acquaintance, he had been hired here. The boy arrived at Pasta's Place at 3pm, and introduced himself to the young girl who welcomed him.
"Well, nice to meet you Liam." she said. "I'm Judith Liliano, but you can call me Judy. I will present you to the team and then explain the work. You'll see, it's easy once you get used to it."
They started by meeting their coworkers, and then he helped to get the restaurant ready for 5pm, hour of opening. Judy explained him approximately everything. She was nice and kind, and Liam felt reassured by her attitude. Eventually, the first customer came in, and the process began. The young lad was doing the dishes on the washboard. It was exhausting, way more than he thought. C'mon Liam, you can do this. Think about the money. Moreover, it was also repetitive, and he felt quickly bored. (He wasn't used to work a long time on something... He was more the kind of boy to let his mind ramble). Fortunately, after four hours, Judy came to see how he was doing.
"I can imagine it's a little frustrating, but someone needs to do it." she told him. "I was at your place not that far ago."
"Don't worry, I can handle it." he assured.
(To be honest, he was tired, his hands were trembling and he had an headache, but she would take him for what, if he admitted this ?) (He didn't have a lot of pride, but at least enough to not confess  he was weaker than her). (Was it seriously that hard every night ? Because he wasn't sure to be really able to handle it).
"Liam, are you there ?"
The lad blinked, surprised. He stared at her, and frowned. Did she said something ?
"You literally were sleeping on your feet, were you ?" she asked while holding her laughs.
"May... Maybe... It's exhausting you know ? I don't know how you have handle this so far."
Realizing what he was saying, he blushed. Can I really be that clumsy ? Judy just laughed.
"You deserved a break big boy. Come with me."
She led him towards the kitchen to a little room, where worker were supposed to eat during their breaks. The girl told him to sat, and took two plates from a counter. She took a place in front of him, and smiled.
"You'll see why we're quite famous in town."
Liam looked his plate (obviously it was pasta) and the surrounding. In a corner, there were a TV switched on, but otherwise, they were alone.
"I'm not really hungry." he said.
His gurgling stomach belied his words, and he blushed. Judy stared at him with a smile, and ate a big mouthful of her own plate.
"Don't be shy. A big and strong man like you have to eat anyway. Besides, our pasta are really really good. You'll love it."
Did I already tell I have no willpower ? The young lad didn't want to eat. Food wasn't its friend anymore. (Yeah, food was like a living thing). But his belly and Judy were insisting. Liam took his fork, and started to eat. As promised, it was awesome. He didn't imagine pasta could have this taste. Without any restraint, he polished his plate in no time, and felt rather satisfied.
"As I told you." laughed Judy. "Do you want more ?"
"No."
Liam realised he answered too fast, and too agressively. I really don't want anything more but I don't have to be this rude.
"No thanks." he corrected himself. "It was nice, but I'm fine now."
As he said before, food wasn't its friend anymore. He remembered him too many bad memories. I have to put limits, that's all... C'mon, let's back to work.
The ringtone of his phone woke him up the next morning around 11am. Like an undead (or whatever, the point being he was dozy), he stood up and checked his phone. Mom, 38 calls. Okay... Slowly, he put his phone back and laid down onto his bed. Wait... Mom, 38 calls ?! He raised up suddenly, and realized what it meant. He was supposed to meet her this morning ! Without even taking the time to dress, he rushed towards the door and opened. Rachel Strucker was waiting there, drinking a coffee in a little procelain cup. Wearing an original flowery hat, a long red dress and high heel, she smiled cheerfully to her son.
"38 calls before you finally wake up, that's less than I expected."
"Hi mom."
She entered in the room, and put her purse shaped like a heart in a corner. Well, at least she didn't change that much since the last time I saw her... I bet she'll firstly say it's dusty, or I'm not her son.
"Are you eating well Liam ?"
Shup up. Not you mom, the voices who are laughing. (To err is human, after all). (He was still his son). Of course she would ask that. She had noticed month ago that he stopped to enjoy his food.
"Don't worry mom, I'm fine. By the way, how are ya doing ?"
Liam knew she went through a difficult period with the problems they had been facing recently. It was already impressive that she didn't fall into depression. After all, between him moving and his siblings leaving... (That was a part of the sad story Liam didn't want to tell).
"At least I'm alive." she answered quite ironically. "But we're not here to discuss about me. Did I said your appartement was dusty ?"
"Not yet, but I reckon you thought it loudly."
His mother nodded unthinkingly, and took a close look at him. She sighed with weariness, and threw up her hands.
"My lord, tell me what went wrong with this boy ?"
What ? He blinked, surprised. She was waiting something, but he didn't know what. Just think Liam... What did you do wrong ? Maybe she glimpsed the beer in the fridge ? Or the pizza, the burgers and the pasta. It would have been a problem, but she didn't open the fridge yet. Did she have a new haircut ?
"You're in underwear Liam." she eventually sighed. "And despite the fact I find you cute my little boy, I must remind you I'm your mother. Go get dressed please."
Rebecca Wednesday September 13
Since the induction seminar, things were going well for the young girl. After all, several members of the swimteam were nicer than she first thought, and she started to feel at ease with them. And for her delight, she now had two friend in her promotion. Well, more one friend and one fucking little smart Aleck. After all, she wouldn't really consider Nick as a friend. He was too immature, noisy and mischievous. Anyway, Rebecca finished her diner quickly, took her bag and went to the pool with a mix of excitation and fear. She had not make any swimming yet, and she was eager to show her team what she was capable of. She entered in the locker room, get dressed, and then went in the pool. She glimpsed Nick, sat on a bench playing at his gameboy, and Laura, selecting swimming caps for the next tournament. The other were all in the pool. I somtimes wonder why Nick joined this team... He had nothing of a sportsman. Well, he got a "normal" body, tall and slim, without neither muscle nor fat, just a flat stomach and chest. Theo appealed her attention when he shouted :
"Hey Rebbie, are you going to train a bit ? I want to see what you're able to do !"
"Coming captain."
She kindly went into the water, and once perfectly ready, she started to swim in crawl. Slowly at first, and then faster and faster. Quickly, she did a serie of lenght, tempting the others. Theo yelled :
"Faster Rebbie ! Faster !"
Maybe he didn't know that, but he used exactly the same sentence than Bob. The sentence she got used to when she needed to do her best. That was why she sped up. She could hear the clappings, the supports, but only Theo's words counted. Faster. When she eventually finished her series, they all were astounded. A bunch of students rushed her to congrat her performance. Rebecca smiled. Guys, I'm a national athlete, to surpass my limits is my job, you don't have to be so surprised. She felt proud of herself while listening to them, but she lost her smile for a second when she glanced at Nick. This asshole didn't move from his bench, at all. He didn't even raise his head. He was still playing. He could have at least watch me ! She wanted to tell him something, but a remark caught her interest.
"Black girl are always good for sports." was saying the sophomore called Matthew. "It's natural."
Rebecca turned towards him and frowned spitefully.
"What do you mean ? You think I'm doing this only because I'm black ?"
"It's playing, at least."
She clenched her fist and wanted to punch him in the balls without any hesitation, but Theo took part hastidly and placed himself between them.
"C'mon guys. She did well, it's the only thing which matter. Just go back to your training now."
They all obeyed, but Rebecca and this asshole of Matthew stared nastily at each other for a long time...
After the training, in the shower, the young girl was still pissed by this fucking motherfucker. He dared tell she was good because she was black ! Seriously ? He's jealous. A girl is better than him, he's just jealous. Laura, who was next to her, whispered :
"You know, this bar of soap did nothing wrong."
Rebecca blinked, surprised. (She was crushing the soap in her fist). Theo's girlfriend smiled softly.
"There will always be people to point out your difference when you're better or worst than them. It's safer to ignore them as much as possible."
"I know that." responded the black girl to Laura. "But I expected university to be different. In my highschool, a lot of girls and boys were laughing at me because I was tall and athletic. They said I was a boy without balls. I thought this was over now."
"Sorry to disappoint, but college isn't a paradise." confessed the small girl. "We may be older and freer, we're not perfect for all that. Racism still exist, as all the vice which affect humanity."
Rebecca nodded slowly. She knew that, even if she pretended the contrary. Matthew was just a stupid jackass, and sadly not the only one.
"Anyway, you're really good at swimming." continued Laura. "Theo was stunned by your performance. I think he would love to see you in tournament."
"I'm sorry, I already told you I can't. I have to focus on running."
Bob agreed for a sport, but not for competitive sport. He thought she could manage to practice swimming, but she had to keep her mind focused on running. Plus, her parents wanted her to study. And I can't count on Nick nor Liam to help me with lessons... The first one was certainly too geek to be a good student, and the second was... miles away.
"It's exactly what I told him." assured Laura. "But Theo is a bit stubborn when it comes to tournament, so don't be mad if he insist a bit."
"Don't worry. I didn't saw him train, by the way. Did he give up to be trainer ?"
She knew he was doing law studies, and was quite good at it. According to Pete, his father was a famous lawyer, and the son followed in his footsteps. However, Rebecca mainly saw him drunk or stoned.
"He's training during the afternoon, with me. It's quieter." revealed the small brunette girl. "And trust me, he's good. Anyway, will you come to the induction seminar of our sorority this weekend or have you a tournament ?"
"Well, I have a big training and a tournament." replied Rebecca. "Is that bad to miss this event ?"
"Not so much... As you probably guessed, we'll drink, make party and drink again... Plus, the fraternity Theta Omicron will be right next to us so... we'll certainly also have sex."
The black girl smiled, discomforted. She was not used to this kind of talk, because she didn't really have many female friends... (Honestly, she didn't have friends from highschool at all). Laura, who have finished her shower, got dressed and headed towards the door.
"See you soon Rebbie. Good night." she concluded.
Pete Friday September 15
One week after the beginning of the classes, the young lad started to understand why Friday wasn't a good day. His private law's professor gave them an essay, as the last week. And he hated this, because he had to make it during his sunday's evening in addition to his new job at Mcdo. It was a part-time job, in order to finance his studies. Pete went out of the amphiteater B, and glimpsed Theo, waiting for him leaning back against a wall. Jeezus... I shouldn't do this. Just... I should ran away. Despite his thoughts, he came closer, and smiled to the swimteam captain. This one was wearing a singlet and a bermuda short, showing his perfect body to whom wanted to see it. He had this dark handsome stranger style Pete loved. When they were close, the captain smiled.
"Hi little boy. Why are you blushing like this ?"
You know why... Damnit, this is bad. Since the induction weekend, they grew closer. Sexually closer. In highschool, Pete experienced several boys, despite not being popular, (there always are some boys curious, and he was glad to show them), but Theo was... at another level. But in the same time, the swimteam leader was dating Laura. I'm a lover, I'm not official... that's not good. Nevertheless, it was so enjoyable. And Theo was so hot.
"You're just... good-looking today." answered softly Pete. "Even more than yesterday."
"But less than tomorrow..." whispered his friend. "This induction seminar of the fraternity will be... joyous."
As he said "joyous", Theo slipped his hand under Pete's tee-shirt, and stroked his belly. My god. It feel so nice... Looking around, the young lad realized they were alone, all the students were gone to eat. He focused on his captain, and murmured :
"Are you seriously loving me being a bit fat ? I think it's kinda weird, you know ?"
Theo barely listen to him. While his right hand continued to rub Pete's stomach, he kissed him in the neck, and came closer. His hardenning penis struck against the freshman's short. I can't control this... He is too hot, too eager...
"You're not fat." whispered Theo. "You're perfect... This little pudge is perfect...Don't hold yourself back from doing sex, you know you want it... Relax yourself."
Pete hesistated a second. The time his lover put his hand down in his boxer. Then, he gave himself to Theo.
This night, Pete came back to his appartment quite late. He worked at Mcdo until 2am, and felt tired. And I have to wake up early in order to get ready for the induction seminar... Honestly, he was dying to go, and to have sex with Theo as much as possible. (He knew it was bad, but he couldn't restrain himself). However right now, he wanted to sleep. Gently, he went to the bathroom, and get naked. Pete took a moment to watch himself. His momma had told him he was ugly, back in the times, but with Theo, he didn't feel ugly. She was doing this only to provoke me. And she's crazy anyway. Blond, with blue eyes, he was 177 cm (5'10") and weighted 73 kg (160 pounds). Of course he wasn't fat. Not even chubby. He just have a bit of belly, which was the reason why Theo loved him. The swimteam captain was the first man he met loving bellies. It's weird but... I please him thanks to this... Pete was aware it wasn't thanks to his personality, because they didn't know each other for a long time. Theo just liked his body. And if I lose weight, he will stop... I don't want him to stop... For now, the freshman really needed Theo in his life. His mother had assured he would fail his first year, but with the junior by his side, he felt stronger. And on the romance side, she would be happy to know he found a boyfriend. Well, he's not really my boyfriend, but she doesn't need to know that. A knock at the door made him jump.
"What the fuck you want Mike ?" he asked.
His roommate, a footballer, answered through the wood :
"I need to pee, and you're in this fuckin' bathroom for at least ten minutes now. What are ya doing ?"
"Nothing important. Wait a second."
Pete wore his pajamas, and then opened the door. He smiled to Mike. This one was a tall (really tall) and beefy freshman. He looked strangely to the smaller boy, and then sighed.
"I said I wanted to pee. You will not stay here to watch me, right ?"
To be continued
Part 5 next week ! (I said that last time too :x)

Hosts of Japan - Chapter 8
Chapter 1 Â Chapter 2 Â Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5 Chapter 6 Chapter 7
Tagging the girls @destinywanted @hifftn @whatdoyouexpectthistime and @smutmylifeup
Enjoy :)
Even though Narumi was having an amazing time being back in Japan, she started to feel the slight stiffness Nomura possessed whenever she asked him to talk about himself. She knew he couldnât divulge too much due to the nature of his job, however, his previous clients must have been completely happy talking about nothing but themselves for their entire trip. Narumi wasnât. Company was having fun with the other person, laughing together, sharing stories, Nomura clearly didnât wish to go any further than client and host.
She sat in her hotel room, trying to figure out how to get Nomura to open up, even just enough to actually enjoy himself. Checking the clock, she knew heâd be here to pick her up in half an hour for dinner. Maybe they could go to his favourite place? Would he be willing to share that though? Hmm. Maybe H would know. Instead of calling, she dropped her a text, instantly getting a reply to contact Mieke for that information, since she deals with Nomura on a more personal. She grinned somewhat evilly, and texted Mieke.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mieke pocketed her phone and turned her attention back to Jazz.
âEverything alright?â Jazz asked.
âJust a client asking a question about their hostâ Mieke grinned.
âOk, well, I just thought Iâd keep you in the loop, but weâve been receiving some really weird emails recentlyâ Jazz said âSome make sense but others donât, weâre looking into it as best we can, but if it continues, weâre going to have to get some help from a hacker Kuni knows ofâ
âBut if theyâre not affecting the company, why we worrying about it?â Mieke asked.
âRight now, itâs not, but whatâs cause Miho and I to worry is the fact that these emails are being replied to by someone, obviously none of us, but someone isâ Jazz explained.
ââŠ.thatâs a little worryingâ
âVery, it says the email has been replied to, but we canât find the reply anywhereâ Jazz said, rubbing her eyes âweâre giving it a couple more days then weâll get help, but donât tell Hâ
âJazz, sheâs the owner, she deserves to know if thereâs something strange going onâ Mieke argued.
âShe does, fully, but she has way too much on her plate right now, hosting to a stupid ass prince, we canât jeopardise this contract any more than they already haveâ
Mieke nodded. Jazz was right, telling H about this was too risky. She could drop the contract to focus on this issue when they could handle it perfectly fine, without H worrying.
âI bet you itâs absolutely nothingâ Jazz reassured Mieke, smiling as best she can âWhat do you think H is up to right now?â
âProbably some swanky place for dinner, posh candles and wine and chandeliers and all thatâ
âYeah, the prince wonât have anything lessâ Jazz laughed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
âAAAAANNND IIIIIIIIEEEEEIIIIIII WILL ALWAYSâŠ.LOVE YOUOOOOOOUUUUUâ Prince Keith sang at the top of his lungs in our little, private karaoke room at the back of place I had been suggested by Saeki.
I covered my ears as best I could, giving Luke a mixture of âwhy?â and âhow are you not covering your ears right now?â looks. Genuinely, he was just sipping on the diet coke he had ordered, just sort of staring into space. All the while I was trying my best to dull the sound, even just a little, to save my ear drums from bursting. Oh he was going to pay!
With peace and quiet once again when the song finally ended, Keith slumped onto the sofa next to me, grinning from ear to ear.
âGo ahead, say how amazing I wasâ he boomed proudly.
It took me a while to realise he was talking to me. I swear if this was a cartoon my hair would be standing on end and my whole face drained of any sort of emotion.
âWhat?â I almost shouted.
âI said tell me how good I wasâ he said again, a bigger grin.
Luke continued to drink, ignoring the demand from his master.
âYou want the whole truth?â I asked.
âOf course, every detail!â
âYou suck, you couldnât even hold the easiest note! You werenât even singing, I swear you were shouting most of it and donât even get me started at the main part of the songâ I laid into him, not holding back, and I could see his face slowly dropping as I said more and more, until he cut me off.
âPffft, fine, letâs see you do better!â he said, tossing me the microphone.
âOh, unlike you, I know I canât sing so I donâtâ I said.
âNah, huh, you told me I sucked, you need to show me how much you suck!â he said, selecting and song and pushing me up to stand.
I didnât even try with the song, I knew I couldnât sing and that Keith would insult me just as much as I did to him, so as soon as I had finished, I downed the rum I had allowed myself to get.
âThatâŠ.my God you do suckâ Keith laughed.
âI told you!â I snapped back andâŠwait he was laughing?
âYou said you were bad but I didnât expect you to be that bad, Iâm way better, come onâ he laughed more, downing his own drink.
I couldnât help but smile, he was finally relaxing.
âPffffffffft as you put it earlier, No-one can be as bad as you your highnessâ I jabbed back, chuckling slightly.
âAlright alright, so what do we do now? I mean, as much as I enjoy karaoke, it does start to get a little dull after a whileâ he asked.
âWell, the food should be here soon, then Iâll be taking you back to the hotel since you have a meeting early in the morningâ I explained.
âAhâŠstupid summitsâ he said, slumping back down.
âWith your lifestyle, think Iâd take a few summits every now and then to live comfortablyâ I said.
âWhat?â
âI mean, you never have to worry about money, making rent, the constant worry of keeping your business afloatâ I explained ânot worrying about someone who doesnât even love you, you just get on with your life, people giving you things you want, you justâŠlive, servants, luxury, never having to cook a fucking meal, it sounds so relaxing!â I turned to see Keith just staring in disbelief at me âWhat?â
âYou think I live a worry free life? Not having to constantly be nagged by your parents that you need to marry soon, not worrying about your countryâs well-being, financial status, employment issues, parliament breathing down your neck, worrying about your little sisterâŠthat sounds like a relaxing life to me to be fairâ
âGuess I didnât see it like thatâ
âNot having to worry about messing up whilst serving a princeâŠthat would be coolâ Luke piped up, causing all of us to burst out laughing.
âI think Luke wins!â I winked at him, a blush painting his cheeks slowly âLukeâs blushingâ
âI am notâ he said, covering his face as best he can.
âWow, Iâve never seen Luke blush before, just from embarrassment of messing upâ Keith jabbed.
âI guess everyone has their own troublesâ I said, drawing attention away from him âYou have a sister?â
âYeah, younger, Cathy, sweet little thing, I think she could be a great ruler in the futureâ Keith said.
âDo you not want the throne?â I asked.
âI do, I want to be a King worthy of the kingdom my parents have, but I also want to know how my subjects live, the more I know and understand, then maybe I can provide for them betterâ
Maybe I was wrong about Keith. Sure, he was stuck up and extremely arrogant, but, he seemed to have his peoples best interests at heart. Was that why he wanted to come to Japan and have a host show him around? So he could see how other people lived? He may have said they drew straws, but he would only draw it if he genuinely wanted to do it. Wouldnât he? It was at that moment I began to admire him a little.
âAnyway, spoke too muchâ he said as the food arrived. He even ate some of the Japanese style food I had ordered, and enjoyed it!
Luke handed Keith over to Aleck in a fancy limo when we had all finished. However, he didnât go with them, instead he stayed with me.
âIâd like to walk you home, make sure you get back safe tooâ he suggested.
âOh err, I donât live that far from here, thanks but you can get back to your princeâ I said. I still wasnât fully forgiving towards Luke, and I was definitely still gonna be wary of him.
âButâŠâ he began when I heard a familiar voice.
âH! Fancy seeing you hereâ Genzo shouted from down the street. I froze. Was it fear? Or was it excitement that he rushed over to see me? Why was I suddenly so anxious?
âHi Genzo, whatâs up?â I asked.
âOh been on a date? With a ginger too!â he stated.
âNo, no date, justâŠhanging out with a friendâ I explained.
âAh, well let me walk you homeâ Genzo said.
âI actually offered to do just that sir, so if youâll excuse meâ Luke surprised me with his interjecting.
âI think youâll find, young man, that she knows me way better than you and would probably prefer me to walk her homeâ Genzo sized Luke up. What the hell? I could walk myself home.
âI wasnât saying that sir, all I was saying was that I had already offered to walk her home and she said she could do that herself, I will respect that, probably unlike yourselfâ he jabbed. I mean, he was right, but my God.
Genzo slowly backed down and looked to me, smiling.
âIâll text you yeah? I wanna see you again soonâ he said, waving and leaving very quickly.
Luke visibly shrunk back before turning to me.
âI apologise, of course you may walk home yourself, I will see you the day after tomorrowâ he said, bowing slightly âbutâŠjust so you know, Iâve seen men like him at the palace, only out to better themselves financially or socially, please, be carefulâ
And with that he left me be.

My gift for @getblacky95â, who was my partner in the @yuri-on-ice-valentine-exchange! :3 I went with the post-canon prompt and threw in Yakov since thatâs what you asked for, but somehow it feels like it ended up being a Yakov appreciation fic so... hope you still like it?? Anyway, happy (very belated Iâm so sorry omg) Valentineâs Day! thank you for being so patient orz
Title: Not quite the best idea Rating: G I guess, although thereâs some swearing from our dear Yurio Characters/Ship: Victuuri + the entire Team Russia and Yakov Word count: 1'885
Itâs on AO3 too!
It all begins with a simple question, really.
âHas coach Yakov ever gone on a vacation?â Yuuri asks out of the blue, as he and Victor are taking a short break on the side of the rink. Victor thinks for a moment; his eyes follow his fiancĂ©âs gaze and land on Russiaâs number one skating coach, whoâs currently yelling at Mila and Yurio for almost getting in a (playful, at least on Milaâs part) argument in the middle of practice again.
Now that he thinks about it, Victor canât think of a single time in his entire career, no, his entire life when Yakov hasnât been by his side â or at least somewhere near a skating rink. He could live comfortably off his pension and savings by now, yet heâs 70 and still coaching; still coming to the rink every day, still arriving at six thirty precisely; still shouting at Victor, although now itâs because heâs mad that he and Yuuri are happier in love than heâs ever been, still begrudgingly patting Georgi on the back too, still getting annoyed at Yurioâs insubordinationâŠ
âI donât think so,â Victor finally answers, arms crossed and a finger lightly taping his chin. âI guess heâs just as passionate about skating as all of us here.â
Yuuri takes a few more gulps of his water bottle, hands it to Victor and wipes his mouth with the sleeve of his shirt. âEven we took a few days off after the New Year, thoughâŠâ Victorâs fingers linger on his fiancĂ©âs for a little longer than necessary. Memories of the lovely week-end they spent together in Paris after (both Russian and Japanese) Nationals make his lips curve into a sweet, adoring smile. ïżœïżœI hope he doesnât overwork himself,â Yuuri goes on. âI mean! I probably have no right to say that, butâŠâ
âNo,â Victor interrupts in a soft tone. His Yuuri is always so grateful and caring; heâll never stop being amazed at how easy it is to fall in love with him all over again, again and again. âYouâre right.â
Itâs a bit weird, trying to imagine this rink without Yakov here to offer harsh (but always justified) criticism on his every move, or just yell at him when heâs fooling around â but having a coach like him is no given, and after more than a decade of making his life hell by never once listening to his advice, maybe itâs finally time Victor shows he cares for Yakov too. Heâll discuss this with the others after practice, he decides.
And thatâs how a month later, right after Worlds, Yakov is presented with plane tickets and a one-week reservation at the best resort hotel they could find on the Italian Riviera.
âWhatâs the meaning of this?â he mumbles, unbelieving, (and perhaps a little embarrassed).
âItâs a gift from all of us,â Mila explains with a confident smile on her face. Sheâs the one who suggested the exact location, having made one or two trips there with Emil Nekola and the Crispino siblings in the past. Victor then chose the hotel, and Georgi took care of every remaining detail â including restaurant bookings and (for some reason) ordering the roses which Yakov doesnât know yet heâll find in his room upon his arrival. âOur treasured coach deserves a vacation from time to time, after all!â
âYour âtreasured coachâ? You think Iâm going to fall for that? Stop trying to pull pranks on me and go back to practice, youâve wasted enough time already!â
Oh. Well, they were prepared for many reactions, but for Yakov to think this all is just a joke⊠Victor, at least, is disappointed. Yuuri is quicker to speak up, though.
âUm⊠Coach Yakov, this is not a prank. I promise we all just, err, want you to take some time off and relax. We believe you deserve it.â
Yuuri is absolutely incapable of being dishonest; especially when heâs like this, with his hair down and an embarrassed look on his face, you can read him like an open book. Yet Yakov doesnât seem to trust his words at all.
âWas this your idea, Vitya? What are you trying to buy my forgiveness for this time?â
âWhat? Yakov, Iâm hurt. You know I would never-â
âOh, for fuckâs sake,â Yurio suddenly intervenes, clearly sounding like heâs had enough, âI spent some of my money on this shit idea of a gift too, so just fucking accept it!â
Then he proceeds to turn around angrily and step back on the rink, sliding as far away from his coach and fellow skaters as he can manage on the ice. Everyone else remains in shocked silence for a few more seconds, but Yurioâs outburst has effectively ended the debate; Yakov mumbles a half-hearted thank you and they donât talk about plane tickets and hotel reservations for the rest of the day. Victor guesses itâs fine. Their coach is only supposed to leave in two weeks, after all.
But two weeks really do fly by fast when you spend each and every day trying to put together the best programs for next season, and they only find the time to talk about Yakovâs vacation again once or twice. He ends up agreeing to go, although still somewhat begrudgingly; so on Saturday afternoon they all meet at the airport to see him off, and after making it clear that theyâd better not use his absence as an excuse to slack off, heâs gone.
âI hope heâll have fun,â Yuuri muses as theyâre about to leave the airport, long after Yakovâs plane has taken off and theyâve all had a cup of coffee together.
âHe definitely will,â Georgi is quick to assure him. He looks strangely pleased. âItaly is such a romantic country, after all. Maybe heâll even meet someone whoâll make him finally discover the thrill of love!â
âUh, yeah, maybe not,â Mila intervenes. âStill, will we be alright while heâs goneâŠ?â
âOf course.â Victor puts on a reassuring smile. âItâs not like itâs the first time weâll be training alone for a few days. Besides, since Iâm an experienced coach now, you can come to me anytime if you-â
âBullshit! Youâre a shit coach, Victor, everyone knows that!â
And once again, itâs Yurioâs screaming that puts an end to their conversation, as well as washes away their doubts a little (not that theyâll ever let him know).
Sunday is a day off, so they donât notice Yakovâs absence very much. At some point during the day, while Victorâs lying on his stomach on the couch and lazily scratching behind the ears of a rather enthusiastic Makkachin, Yuuri wonders aloud if Yakov ever suffers from jet-lag â to which Victor answers he probably doesnât, and thatâs it. They spend the rest of the day lounging around Victorâs (although itâs really theirs now, Victor insists) apartment, cooking together and watching TV together and doing the dishes together the very way that never fails to make Yurio mime the act of puking and say theyâre a âcouple of fucking disgusting dumbassesâ, and overall just enjoying being around each other.
On Monday theyâre back to the rink, though, and it soon proves kind of⊠unsettling not to have Yakov around. Yuuri seems okay, but it takes Victor a few minutes to remember that his coach isnât there right now, and he doesnât stop waiting for the lecture he knows he deserves every time he makes a mistake until late in the afternoon.
Tuesday goes by just fine, too; better, even, since Victor manages to pull off that combination that caused him trouble just perfectly not twice, but three times in a row. âItâs a shame Yakov wasnât here to see this,â he complains, though, once he and Yuuri are taking a break. âYouâll show him when he comes back on Saturday,â comes the answer â and Victor frowns but says nothing.
It only starts getting weird on the following day. Theyâre training, as usual, Yuuri trying to remember the trickiest part of his free skate choreography and Victor working on his own programs, until their eyes meet and Yuuri smiles with a soft blush on his face, like heâs just that happy to be skating on the same ice as Victor. Which, to be quite honest, Victor can understand â he, too, gets overwhelmed with joy every time he thinks about his fiancĂ©. Still. Yuuri skates up to him and their fingers brush, and the next thing he knows Victor is being pulled into some dance steps theyâre only performing to the rhythm of the music seems to Yuuri as he moves. Whatâs weird is not that theyâre dancing â they do that all the time, and it usually makes both Yakov and Yurio scream a lot â but rather that suddenly, it feels very wrong for them to be dancing right now. Victor stiffens; luckily, Yuuri notices and stops immediately to give him a questioning, worried look.
âWe should be practicing,â Victor says without thinking. âYakov would get angry if he saw us.â
Yuuri only blinks, although he doesnât look like he understands, and nods.
And on Thursday, Victor looks more concerned than ever. He canât stop frowning. âYuuri,â he whines out of the blue once theyâre back home; theyâre on the couch watching TV and his head is resting on his fiancĂ©âs lap. âWhat if he doesnât come back?â
Yuuri raises a brow, but doesnât stop gently carding his fingers through Victorâs hair. âWhoâs not coming back?â
âYakov. What if heâs having so much fun on vacation that he decides to retire for good?â
Yuuri doesnât know what to say. So he only promises Victor that wonât happen, trying to be as reassuring as he can; and Victor wakes him up in the middle of the night to ask him the exact same question. Twice.
So really, itâs a relief- No, itâs mostly a surprise, but itâs also a relief too, when they all suddenly hear a groan on Friday afternoon and they turn to the rink entrance to see Yakov. His plane wasnât supposed to take off before Saturday morning, yet heâs here already â so Georgi asks how the essential romanticism of the Italian Riviera could have disappointed him, but thatâs not why their coach came back early.
âDid you not like the place?â Mila enquires, biting her bottom lip.
Thankfully, it only takes five seconds for their coach to ease off all of their worries.
âIt has nothing to do with the place! I could feel you slacking off all the way from Italy!â he almost shouts. âHave you all even been training properly?â
âOh, Yakov!â Victor exclaims, and itâs the most energetic heâs been in days. âSo you were worried about us, after all!â
âThe only things I worry about are your performances. And youâd better go back to practice if youâre hoping to win anything next season!â
His declaration is instantly met with approval. And the next time Victor feels like thanking Yakov for all heâs ever done for him, he decides on just having a bouquet of flowers delivered to his apartment instead.
(Itâs still far from anything the Russian coach even remotely enjoys, but at least it manages to make him feel more relaxed than a week away from his troublesome skaters.)

EleMenT Chapter 115
Chapter 115: Broken Man
âHeeeeeey~! Dante wake up already!â Dominicâs voice calls out. âPlease stop that! He still needs his rest!â a womanâs voice said. âHeâs been resting for several days now, and Iâm bored as heck over hereâŠâ Dominic said. Dante slowly opens his eyes, his vision blurry at first but clears up in seconds. He sees Dominic standing at the foot of his bed with Veronica berating him. âYouâve just woke up less than a half hour ago, you have no room to judgeâŠâ she told him. âYeah but Iâm awake now so itâs time for him to do the same. Time for Dominicâs Wake Up Call Chop!â He said, putting his hand over Danteâs head and got ready to karate chop the top of his head. âStop that at once!â Veronica shouts. âIâm awake you idiotâŠâ Dante said as he sat up. âDante!! Good to see youâre alright!â Dominic gives a very hard pat on his back, causing an irritated Dante to make a loud grunt. âOwâŠâ he said softly. âDonât do that! Heâs still injured!â Veronica shouts. âIâm fineâŠâ Dante said and began getting out of bed. âAh! Stay in bed! Youâre not ready to leave yet!â she shouts at him. âYeah come on, letâs go see how the guys are doing eh?â Dominic grins as he headlocks Dante. âOiâŠâ Dante groans out. âWill you both listen to me!?â Veronica shouts at them.
In the manner of seconds the both of them lays in their bed with a big bump on each of their heads, both having tears streaming down their face. âNow you two stay in bed, Iâll get the commanderâŠâ Veronica said, her fist smoking as she walks away. ââŠso, we lost big time didnât we?â Dante said, starting down at the foot of his bed. âYeah but hey, weâre alive so weâll get him eventually!â Dominic grinned at him as he spoke. âHmn⊠but we never looseâŠâ Dante said. âIt was bound to happen ya know? I mean weâre pretty amazing when we fight together, but there will always be someone stronger! Thatâs why we just gotta get stronger ourselves!â Dominic told him. ââŠâ Dante stays silent. âYou guys did a lot better than I could ever doâŠâ a voice said. They looked over at a bed across from them and saw Dale laying quietly. âOh hey, sorry did we wake you?â Dominic asked. âNo, Iâve been awake. Too much in deep thought about my⊠failureâ Dale told them. âHey come on you did your best out thereâ Dominic reassured him. âAnd my best didnât do anythingâ Dale said. âNeither did oursâŠâ Dante responded. Dominic looks at both of them and said after a sigh, âJeeze guys, just be glad we made it in one piece eh?â
âHeâs right! You three did an amazing job back there!â Grover said as he entered the room âCommander?â Dominic asked, surprised at his praise. âIf you three havenât hold the enemy off as long as you could, weâd have suffer many more casualties on our side. It ended in a stalemate, but at least neither of our enemies were victoriousâ Grover said. âThough I feel like I didnât do anythingâŠâ Dale said. âNonsense! You fought bravely to save your fellow troops! Youâre a hero in my eyes!â Veronica suddenly shouted. ââŠ?â All four of them were silenced by her sudden outburst. Her face turned red and she looked away in embarrassment. âI mean⊠you shouldnât feel badâŠâ she said. âWell⊠if it hadnât been you two, I wouldnât be here today, thatâs for sureâ Dale said and looked at Dominic and Dante. âThank you for saving my lifeâ he said. Dante gives him a nod while Dominic smiles and gives him a thumbs up. âAlright you three, no more talking and get your rest!â Veronica told them. âAw come on, weâre feeling fine!â Dominic swings his arm in a circle as he tried to convince her. âI wasnât askingâ Veronica said in a stern voice, channeling electricity between all her fingers in one hand. â!â All three of them quickly laid down in their beds perfectly still. âThatâs betterâ she said.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Few days later, Dominic was at the base watching a news report on a small and old TV covering Theodore C. McLaren holding a meeting with both the human extremists and elemental extremistsâ leaders to have them drop their weapons and stop the war. âI donât know how far heâll go with those two stubborn mulesâŠâ he commented to himself. âIt would be a miracle if he could actually get them to agree to anything. âThough I do give him kudos for being brave; confronting those two warmongers and staying in a room with them.â He looked around and saw the place was nearly barren with only a few soldiers and staff. âWell, now my insecurities are in need of social activity but no oneâs really here⊠hey Tom!â Dominic called out to a soldier. âWhere did the general go?â he asked. âGeneral Grover said something about helping a bunch of people who lost their homes during the warâ Tom said. âOh thatâs cool of him. What about Dale?â Dominic asked. âOh⊠him and Veronica went out somewhere⊠to be alone if you⊠ahem⊠catch my driftâ Tom said with a sly smirk and winks.
âErr⊠I guess. Wait, what about Dante? He doesnât usually leave the base unless he has a missionâ Dominic said while scratching his head. âDante? Hmmm⊠I think he went out scoutingâŠâ Tom said. âEhh? For what? Without me?â Dominic said, pointing to himself with a sad look. âYou were sleeping, what was he supposed to do?â Tom asked. âWake me!â âWell he didnât wanna be rudeâŠâ Tom said.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
âShould be around here somewhereâŠâ Dante said as he traversed a thick forest. He looked down at his map and said, âI heard the location from those two clearlyâŠâ he thought of what he overheard two human extremists soldiers say while he hid behind a tree a day ago, hoping to get intel from them. âYeah, itâs a little mansion hidden in the forest, we take any elementals we can find and bring them there. Just north of here. Canât miss itâŠâ Dante eventually saw the small black mansion in the distance. âFinally⊠now I can rescue those elementalsâ he said and made his way towards it.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
âNot bad Davis! You have a real mean right hook!â Dominic said as he walks with a fellow soldier from the baseâs gym, both sweaty and lightly bruised and carrying towels and boxing gloves. âKeep training and youâll best me yet!â he said with a grin. âI dunno bout that, no one can best you Novastar Bros., but thanks for the encouragementâ Davis said happily. After they walk separate ways, spots Dante walking through the door. âYo Dante! Whereâve you been man?â he asked. âHow about a spar?â he asked, but saw Dante was walking with his head tilted down and his hands clutched into fists. âHey you alright man? Youâre brooding more than usualâŠâ Dominic said. ââŠ.nothing. Itâs nothingâŠâ he quietly said. âJust⊠tired of this damn war. Iâm going to lie downâŠâ he walked passed Dominic without looking at him. âWell aright. All of us are tired of this war too, so just cross your fingers and hope itâll end soonâ Dominic said and walked away. He didnât realize Danteâs arms were shaking, his eyes bloodshot and his pupils shrunken, his face covered in sweat, and his breaths deep and hoarse. âIt will never endâŠâ he whispered to himself.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Just one day later, a miracle happened when a message from the World Government shook the world and caught everyone by surprise: Theodore C. McLaren, a high ranking official and negotiator, was able to convince the leaders of both opposing supremist parties to cease fire, drop their weapons, come to an agreement, and sign a peace treaty. To this day itâs unknown how Theodore was able to get both leaders to stop fighting; there was no recording of their meeting as they wanted to keep it private. According to the government they were just as tired of fighting as everyone else. However the nightmare has finally ended for many. The war has ended. While watching the broadcast on the television, Dominic, Grover, Dale, Veronica, and all the rest cheered happily, throwing their arms in the air and some even crying tears of joy. All except Dante⊠who just stood there, leaning his back against the wall, staring at the TV with eyes like daggers as the events he witnessed after opening the black mansionâs doors were still clear and vivid in his mind. He heard the screams of despair, agony, fear, and pain of various elementals and saw the horrid acts the humans preformed on them.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
âYouâre what!?â Dominic shouts in shock. âAre you deaf? I said I want to travel the worldâŠâ Dante said, annoyed by his outburst. Several days has passed since the war ended. Everyone has been sent back home, the new government has been established for both humans and elementals to prevent any more race wars between the two. âYeah but it seems so sudden, you never talked about doing that beforeâŠâ Dominic scratched his head. âIt was⊠a recent decisionâ Dante told him. They discussed their plans for the future after all the fighting has finally stopped. âAw man⊠I was hoping youâd become a grandmaster with me!â Dominic said. âStuck in an office teaching disobedient children all day every day? Not my thing⊠besides, there can only be one grandmaster per city remember?â Dante said. Dominic looked away, crossed his arms and said, âI could bend the rules a little and make us a pairâŠâ
Dante sighs and looks off to the distance, âSorry Dominic, I just hate the feeling of being cooped up in one place.â âWell do you like to wander around a lot⊠guess this means this is the end of the Novastar Brothers eh?â Dominic asked. ââŠof course not. Weâre still brothers even apartâ Dante said as he continued to stare out. âYou got that right! I wish you luck bro!â Dominic grinned and puts his fist out. ââŠsame to you, Grandmasterâ Dante bumps fists with his. Dante leaves as Dominic watches, a concerned look on his face.  âWhatâs wrong?â A woman next to him asked, having long brown hair and purple eyes [Dominicâs Future Wife: Barbra (Age 28)]. âI canât shake the feeling that somethingâs wrong. Itâs like a shadow was casted over him ever since a few days before the war ended⊠I donât know what it isâŠâ he told her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 âMaybe it was my fault for not realizing it soonerâŠâ Dominic said back at the present as he took another swig of whiskey. âWhy did you wanted to travel the world? To see if humans were really that bad? Or were you just trying to clear your mind? In any case⊠witnessing the tragedy of the Albatross Clan and learning it was a human responsible⊠it was the final nail in the coffin was it⊠the next time I saw you after all those years⊠you said you couldnât believe in my dream of perfect co-existence between us elementals and humansâŠâ he said, closing his eyes and remembering that day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
âAfter all these years I finally get to see you again and now youâre saying this nonsense?! We fought in a war to secure peace together, how can you just suddenly go against that?!â an angry Dominic shouts [Dominic, Age 44]. âThe government canât be trusted anymore⊠not with the sins I witnessed the humans commitâŠâ Dante told him [Dante, Age 47]. âWhat are you talking about!? What sins?! I thought you wanted peace between humans and our race like I did!â âThings changeâŠâ Dante said, his hands shaking. ââŠâ Dominic calmed down a little and began to say, âDante, just what did youâŠâ âSorry DominicâŠâ Dante interrupted. âI cannot support you anymore. Humans and elementals living together is something I disagree with. Both must be separated⊠and I will do something about itâŠâ
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Dominic puts the bottle of whiskey which was now half full next to Danteâs cross. âYou were suffering⊠werenât you brother? Iâm sorry⊠but I hope you found peace nowâ He got up and walked away from his brotherâs grave, leaving a photo of them both when they were in the war. âGoodbye, Dante Novastar.â
