Its design is meant to reflect Pierre’s concept for the gown – a ribbon encircling a bouquet of flowers – as indicated in his initial sketch for the dress. She also wears classic white leather shoes from #ManoloBlahnik"

A custom navy silk wool coat and pencil skirt with an ivory silk crepe blouse from the New York-born designer Adam Lippes. All three garments were hand-sewn in Manhattan. A custom hat from another native New Yorker, Eric Javits. "The American-made outfit involved a clandestine operation that was orchestrated by her stylist Herve Pierre."

“Santa Baby” was written by Joan Javits and Philip and Tony Springer in 1953. It was performed by the incomparable Eartha Kitt, although there have been many covers over the years (“Santa Buddy” by Michael Bublé is incredibly funny to me). 

The song was performed by Miss Piggy (Eric Jacobson) in the 2002 tv film, It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas. Miss Piggy was performing the song as the character of “Saltine” in the Muppet’s Christmas show which for the year was “Moulin Scrooge.”
