Lüzum hissettiği zaman onları alır, su ile ıslatır, orucunu onlardan yiyerek açardı. Revak’ı (Yani tekkesi) her gün dolar taşardı. Bir gün ve gece içinde yirmibinden fazla insan girer ve çıkardı. Ve bunların önüne daima sabah ve akşam sofra açılırdı. İhya edilmesi gerekli bazı gecelerde tekkesinde yüzbinin üstünde insan toplanırdı. Hane halkı ile birlikte, bir veli’nin şanına yakışır şekilde bu misafirler ağırlanır, ihtiyaçlarıgörülürdü.

Dünya mülkü namına hiçbir şeyin sahibi olmadı. Dünyalık namına herhangi bir şeyi de kendisi için alıkoymadı. Şayet bu çeşitten eline herhangi bir şey geçse, onu derhal ihtiyaç sahiplerine dağıtırdı.

Dayısından kendisine kalan revakın gelirleri, bağ bahçe vs.olarak o kadar çoktu ki.. Ne varkı onların gelirlerini hiç yığmaz, aynı gün oradaki dervişlere ve diğer muhtaçlara dağıtırdı. Kendisi o mallardan tamamen uzak kalırdı. Ne dirhemine el sürerdi, ne dinarına.. Ancak onların yerince sarf edilmesi için bazı vekiller tayin etmişti.

Onlarda Allah için alır ve Allah için harcarlardı.
