I didn't go tho. I was too afraid to leave the OBX. Weird, right? Since I lived a lot of my teen years in Guadalupe and the Bahamas. I don't have friends from my childhood and hardly any family here and horrible things happened at this place, and I still call it home. I officially live in a dorm room at ECSU, but I still got my old room at Tanney Hill (thanks Rafe for not redecorating it)

We have heard tales of the realm of [ONSHU], she has told us about her dear friend and adventuring companion. Since then the team and us and our unit are working together to find Glacia. This proves to be a very hard task as so many of her D.I/V’s look the same and have the same CF color, we think that we have found the one that [ONSHU] means though. We are sending out one of our historians (of this unit) to see if this is the Glacia that [ONSHU] has traveled with.

Happy Birthday [ONSHU], you are the best ECSu-1 in the history of the MDJFP.

Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) is a public HBCU. ECSU, which enrolls nearly 2,500 students in 28 undergraduate programs and 4 graduate programs, is a member school of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, as well as a member institution of the UNC system.

It was established by the North Carolina General Assembly on March 3, 1891, as the State Colored Normal School at Elizabeth City, in response to a bill calling for the creation of a two-year Normal School for the “teaching and training teachers of the colored race to teach in the common schools of North Carolina.” Peter Weddick Moore was its first leader. The school provided training for teachers of primary grades.

In 1937, the school transformed into a full four-year teacher’s college and was officially named Elizabeth City State Teachers College, while expanding its role to include the training of principals as well. In 1939, the college awarded its first bachelor of science degree in its program of elementary education. Within the following twenty-five years, the college expanded its offerings to include a vocational-technical program and a total of thirteen academic majors.

In December 1961, the college gained membership in the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In 1963 its name was changed to Elizabeth City State College. In 1969, its name was changed to Elizabeth City State University to reflect the expansion and the addition of graduate programs.
