I was wondering recently if there was Any way to salvage the hair on my 2015 Disney Store Anna Doll. It's SUPER Stiff and Dry (but soft). I've tried boil washing and conditioner a long time ago but nothing changed (I forget what conditioner it was this was 6 years ago).

❄️Much to my surprise, I ended up loving “Frozen II” as much as the first one! The plot is amazing, the songs are incredible, and I identified with Elsa even more than in the first film. ‘Show Yourself’ literally changed my outlook on life, and that is not an exaggeration.❄️

Though I totally get the hype for the ILY 4EVER Disney Bounding dolls, it’s kinda funny to me how little I care for the sole reason Anna and Merida are literally the only Princesses excluded.

Elsa’s included, so the “but Frozen isn’t technically part of the line-up“ argument holds no water here (not to mention everyone and their grandmother knows Anna and Elsa have been treated as honorary members for years). And that’s not even getting into Merida being excluded.

Also how some Princesses only got one accessory pack at best, while others got multiple, on top of getting a doll all to themselves... The obvious favoritism in the Disney Princess franchise has just always rubbed me the wrong way.

And in general there’s no “that one doll/pack“ that jumps out to me, so I know I’m gonna regret my decision no matter which one I buy, and there’s no way in hell I’m buying the entire series.

Wake me up once they make one for Anna.

(Before anyone gets all “you don’t have to buy what you don’t like“, that still doesn’t excuse the favoritism, go brag about your favorites always being included somewhere else.)

Disney Frozen socks. I bought the socks today. I found them when I was walking at the store.

Disney Frozen 2 storybook. The book title is 'Terug naar huis' (Dutch) translates to 'Back to home'. This one I bought also last Friday.

I'm so happy with the stuff I bought! 🤗💙 Now I'm saving for the Frozen 2 dolls 💙.

New Frozen mobile game | News

And here's another set of new content today! The future of Frozen is expandinggg! I just posted a post with the new doll leak for Frozen: Winter Festival, a possible new short. And now we have a new mobile game available on the App store but set for release soon (no date is shown for when).

The new game is called Disney Frozen Royal Castle. The brief description reads as, "Elsa & Anna interactive doll house dress up kids game for boys and girls". And here are the images released:

This game seems really fun where you can play around in the castle and choose what the characters wear including some of the outfits seen in the movies and new ones most likely made just for the game. You can click register in order for the game to automatically download on your phone as soon as it's available to play.

Some may not be as excited for this as the possible new Winter Festival shirt but I thought I'd still share this for those who are excited either way for this game.

yay 💗 ok so my favourite doll that i own is daria from rainbow high and she’s sooooo pretty and i love her clothes, i also love fidgeting with her ringlets bc the gel actually feels nice on my fingers and i like to scrunch it lmao (it’s very comforting), my second favourite doll is probably my first doll that i got as an adult, she’s a hasbro elsa doll i found at a thrift store for $2 and she could definitely use a boil wash but i love her face (it’s one of the more movie accurate ones imo) and she still had her dress and shoes when i found her, i actually keep her in my purse as my on-the-go comfort doll which may sound weird to people who aren’t doll collectors with ocd that gives them anxiety via intrusive thoughts but i digress. since i mentioned an elsa doll i’ll mention favourite anna dolls too, i’m gonna have to go with either my disney on ice anna (she looks drunk off her ass and has double jointed elbows as well as the most movie accurate cape of any of my anna dolls lmao) or one of the disney store frozen 1 anna dolls i have :)

The more likely scenario is that she doesn't becone a princess and Encanto becomes its own franchise. Encanto's success is similar to that of Frozen. Elsa and Anna are not part of the Disney princess lineup because they would overshadow the other peincesses and I think that we will see a similar thing with Encanto. Mirabel is already being released as a regular Disney Store doll, along with the ither princesses, Elsa and Anna, and a few others. The success of Encanto was definitely not anticipated, but the CEO even referring to it as a franchise alone is evidence that it will be it's own thing.

sereshaw/hangster headcanons i (sereshawers) have about their dating history (mostly dad sereshaw).

this is kinda au but high school bfs au where they met in navy rotc

ex-boyfriends but that’s just canon bc i said so

to add onto the ex boyfriends thing, rooster was the one to break things off originally. reason why? unknown.

hangman had like an overly loving family. like family dinners were mandatory, family game nights every saturday (also mandatory), if a sibling had a big football game or whatever EVERYONE WENT!, big family parties. the whole thing. so whenever rooster would visit he would be so overwhelmed but he loved it.

After the mission, when they finally get a moment alone, hangman kisses rooster. like they are just talking and drinking beer and hangman just kisses him. and he is like only a couple sips into his first beer so he can’t even blame it on being drunk.

rooster kisses back… but hangman gets mad at him and rooster is like “woah??? Sorry” and he is like “fuck you i hate you let’s make out”

they just have a whole “will they? won’t they?” thing going on for a good while and the dagger squad has a separate gc without them in it to make bets and gossip about them (all love though <3)

they date for like 3 years and hangman breaks up with him like a million times throughout that 3 year period over nothing just because he is petty. less than an hour later he is like “babe 🥰” though.

rooster says something like “are you going to ask me out anytime soon” and hangman is like “that’s funny. no, you have to ask me out.” so rooster does.

rooster proposes in their apartment bc hangman said if he ever proposed in a very public place he would say no and run away dramatically to be funny. rooster said that would be mean but hangman just responded “it’s what you deserve”

hangman is the first one to bring up kids and rooster is a little scared at first but they adopt a 5 year old girl named harper and before they get her, they redecorate a whole room in their house to be perfect for her. they asked her favorite color and she said purple so they painted the room purple and she said she liked butterflies so they got little hanging butterflies to hang from her ceiling. they got her a canopy bed with decorated it with fairy lights on the curtains. they also got her a a huge toy chest and a huge doll house and the first they will do on her first day home is take her to the store so that she can pick out tons of toys and books and clothes and whatever else she wants.

they spoil harper beyond belief and everyone calls them crazy but they don’t really care they love her.

harper sees a picture of bradley playing baseball and says she wants to do that and from that moment on they are baseball (softball?) dads.

after harper turns 7 and goes into first grade and they miss having a kid around all the time they are like “yeah let’s have another”. this time around they adopted a 2 year old girl named morgan. everything they did for harper, they did for morgan but this time harper got to help too and she was really excited to have a little sister.

for halloween, they dressed up as elsa and anna and harper was over the moon. morgan just liked to copy what her sister did or told her to do so she was happy as anna.

both girls love princesses so everytime a new disney movie comes out, they beg jake and bradley to take them to the movie theater to watch them. each time they want to dress up, so they put in princess dresses and make jake and bradley dress up like princes. are they embarrassed? yes. do they do it anyways? yes absolutely.

when morgan turns 4 she started to take an interest in soccer which meant bradley and jake switched back and forth between soccer and softball practice.

hangman watches videos on YouTube on how to braid hair and braids both their hair for games. the moms start asking him to braid their daughters’ hair and he is like “um ig”.

the girls ask to put makeup on them a lot and everytime they sigh and go “fine.” so they just sit and watch tv on the couch and let the girls paint their face and put little bows in their hair.

jake can post a million times on facebook with pics of the girls and bradley and stuff but bradley posts only a few times a year (that being for birthdays and holidays)

My Precure Head I got for my Miku came in early!

And she is really cute!

So I tried her head on Two back up bodies incase the barbie body didn't work (witch I know wouldn't thanks to @mega-byte 's post) The Two Bodies in question are that one really tall AliExpress Body that comes with all the extra hands, and a Liv Doll Body.

For the Ali Express Body the Head fits on perfectly (I don't need to put tape on the peg/knob like with the Disney Store Anna Head I usually have on there), and the Skin tone is also a near perfect match. However Proportionally it doesn't work for me. The Neck is a little too long and her arms and legs especially are a little too long, and she's taller than a barbie but that's always bugged me about this body

Now The Liv Doll body ended up working out better than I expected. The skin tones don't match so i'd have to get a new liv body but the fit and proportions are PERFECT. She's not as articulated as i'd wanted her to be (mainly the arms) but she has more than enough articulation to make he happy. I think i'm gonna be using a Liv Doll Body for my Miku.

Give us thoughts about Anastasia! Her movie is so interesting to me, since it's both a romcom and semi-Disney film without being Disney.

I think her movie is incredible! Anastasia is a character I love, and I wrote her at a time, but I think the movie is ultimately in my mid-tier. This is through no fault of its own though! I just really dislike Rasputin (and not in a love to hate way or hating him in a way you should hate a villain, I just genuinely can't stomach watching him) and I don't fully connect with Anastasia, because she isn't a very feminine character. I also didn't really fall in love with Dimitri as a lead, he always felt like a neighborhood boy to me lol but, again, the movie does everything incredibly well so it's more so that it just isn't my vibe as opposed to something being wrong with it?

But I think Anastasia has an INCREDIBLE wardrobe- on tier with Tiana, probably even better! I think she has an intriguing voice that I really like, might be one of my favorites, and she's so funny and endearing to me. I wish the film had more women- I know the grandmother is in it, but I always felt like Anastasia gave off "one of the guys" vibes, and most of the screentime is her with Vlad and Dimitri or Rasputin, so looking back on it, that could've been another detractor for me...but I really love the soundtrack and Pooka is so cute! I had a doll of her peasant look with the locket and Pooka as a child and I remember being sad about it because my favorite look of hers was the Once Upon a December dress with the ponytail! This was before eBay though, and well after they started selling the doll in stores, so I just made my peace with having the look I liked least lol that being said, I actually do like that look now and the ponytail that magically transforms into like four times its length when it's taken down haha like most people, it definitely lead me down a historical rabbit-hole as a child (I'm still convinced Anastasia survived even though other people swear up and down she didn't, but that's another story) but the more and more I learned about the Romanovs and their tragic tale, it was more eerie and off-putting and genuinely terrifying than intriguing? And I'm used to more haunting historical tales- like I always loved learning about Anne Boleyn, but there was just something about learning about the Romanovs that always made me slightly uncomfortable and I think that carries through to the movie and any of the research I've done on Anna Anderson (don't even get me started on the later years of her life omg) so, again, totally charming movie with a totally charming premise and characters and I'd give it a grade of an A+ but sometimes some things are just not meant for you and I feel that way about this movie? I love it any time I get to watch it but I never actively think about it and it doesn't cross my mind very often.

Well for Esmeralda and Aroura, there is actually a line of collector Disney store dolls that are masquerade theme and Aroura and Esmeralda are part of the line, heres the official art of that:

Sadly Mirabel and the sisters aren't here but let me see what I can find.

The glorious masqurade outfits are a bit more historical inspired, very renaissance-y. So I'm just spit balling here.

For Elsa I think a dress like either of these two would work. The first dress silhouette wise is more in line with what Elsa normally wears, where as the second one I think is more "queenly." With the first one It would be in her normal icy blue colors. If the second I think it would be more reminiscent of her coronation gown in terms of color and her hair tied up instead of her normal braid

I think maybe something like this for Anna would be fun. I can't decide if this would be in the color scheme of her coronation dress with he greens and blacks. Or in the colors of her adventure dress. So the parts here that are orange would be the blue and that top green later would be the pink. Idk wither would work. And then her hair can be braided up with that beaded headpiece.

Now for Mirabel I thought maybe a dress with this cut with the empire waist with the poofy sleeves, kinda like what I did for Isabelle. But instead the main color would be Mirabels signature blue and maybe the gold embellishments on the dress would be butterflies. Since butterflies are a motif in her main design. And then maybe her curls are held back some gold and blue butterfly shaped hair pins

thus far my favorite Anna doll has been (rightfully) the disney store hair play Anna bc Im obsessed with her long hair. I have I think 6 of them now, like literally I love her so much. that being said tho. the Brittney Lee Anna has really stolen my heart, I really liked her from the get go just bc she's such a freak but now that I have multiples I feel like I can relax and play with at least one and she's soooooo lovely I love her so much Im going to put my most expensive Anna in $6 barbie fashions and feel SO good about it actually
