Saw this screenshot on Twitter and...

Man, the style is all over the place |D How are these 2 characters from the same series, Yamamura looks like he's from a colmpletely different show?? The eye size, profile (the lips... the NOSE holy heck what is happening to his nose??), the whole proportions of his head looks so off and cartoony compared to Kansuke??

(thank you for making Kansuke look good, but man, they sure did Misao dirty)

Also glad to see they fixed Kansuke's tan in the flashback to the movie (which apparently makes M13 canon then. Not complaining)

FOR EPS 325-328 yes i was basically watching detco and then coming onto here to talk about my findings. live posting but its me reacting to heishin. ANYWAYS ran explaining how she uses this doll to like keep the weather sunny / take away rain whenever shinichi has a match. heiji looking at it with the most annoyed look ever. i know what you are heiji. when they were sleeping, heiji switched the doll around for it to keep raining(?) but it ended up being sunny the next day AND conan knew it was him who switched it over i literally can't with heiji he's so embarrassing /lh what do you do when you wanna spend time with ur bf so you do the most silliest of things

Ngl im getting annoyed now that we're at vol.104, and I assume we all know that cases, no matter how good, feel more like fillers because the interesting ones are character driven.

Like, every cases with Heiji slaps and anything that has to do with the akai family are both intense and fucking hilarious at times but then there's also one of the most intresting trio that has a shit ton of plot potential and yet theyre ignored.

And yeah, I'm talking about the Nagano trio. Like we have a widow who fucking married into a family for a mission and have a complicated relationship throughout that assignment. We have a badass disabled cop that can and will headshot you if need be despite not being able to walk right, and we have that pretentious, yet mentally pained guy who can only talk in codes and annoying prose.

SO MUCH PLOT AND FOR WHAT?? I DONT CARE IF MR.VICTIM GOT KILLED IN THE PUBLIC BATHROOM WITH A VOODOO DOLL OR SMTGNG I JUST WANT MORE CHARACTER CHAPTERS LIKE DETCO HAVE 92849283 CHARACTERS AND FOR WHAAATT???

And you make me want to see the rest of your mugs, the checkered ones included too (Koi wa Thrill, Shock, Suspense is such a good and iconic opening, gosh, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT: opening matching mugs, they sound like). I have seen episode 129! (Which mean's I've officially met Haibara)

I do have some commissions I'm focusing on, but I also have some art of my OCs that I'm working on too. I do plan on posting the pictures of the dolls when they're finished, too, but I had to pause on that for a bit cause I ruined my sleep schedule again.

Today I woke up with such a killer headache, so I plan to take ibuprofen in hopes I don't need to take my migraine medicine.

Also, here's the checkered mug & plate from the set that I said feels sort of fitting to Koi wa Thrill, Shock, Suspense:

The colour at the top even matches somehow, and the pattern on the plate, too.

Quarter of Silence. I wouldn't say it's the best of them all (that would be Countdown to Heaven imho) but definitely ticks all the boxes when it comes to my personal tastes. It has everything, both a skateboard scene and a snowboard scene, its basically one long winter episode (i love those), a reasonable plot, a train crash and a dam collapse, cone whump, little Sonoko doll, detective boys adopting every teenager-but-not-really they can find... i really love that movie <3

Toono Mizuki from movie 15 - her story is just so tragic and you cant help but feel for her, shes cute and a badass (i do enjoy an attractive person who can shoot a gun), love her voice actress too and gonna give a second one: Moriya Teiji from movie 1 - him i would push off a cliff with no regrets, but i enjoy his motive - completely unhinged and entirely believable, rich people do be like that. Also he calls himself a confirmed bachelor in the funimation dub so thats fun.

Captured in Her Eyes - not really into amnesia plots, so it's my least rewatched movie. and bc of that i don't really remember much about it... should probably rewatch it at some point...

Definitely some good skateboard scenes (please🙏). Other than that i kinda miss the times before every movie had to involve BO, Kaito KID, PSB, the Akai family, etc etc. Just make the plot not nonsense for once and go easy on the fanservice pls 🙏🙏🙏

Even tho I usually don't care for spoilers, I don't really watch trailers or follow theories either when it comes to upcoming detco movies. I like to take them as they come then i see them for the first time. Also it's still gonna be a while until I will be able see it, so I try not to get too excited

Hm, maybe full sized Shinichi in Crossroad in the Ancient Capital? i miss him :( Other than that i quite enjoy the movies doing their own thing, really gives them room to be exciting and ridiculous :p

As much as I can be with no access to movie 26 :C gotta wait till it's online in good quality :/

Just like for Nendo Kansuke, I made his crutch in a similar way from a dowel, worbla, and some foam clay (and glue).

Spent the whole day working on Koumei 2.0's wig. It came out a bit shorter than I wished, so I guess this will end up being the wig for student!Koumei.

We will see if it was a good idea to use alpaca instead of yarn, it's a bit finicky for short hair styles...
