Hey so I really get ttpd, congrats to me! But that’s about all that means, I’m not smarter than anyone who didn’t like it or who thinks it’s shit. All this means is I get hours of content to enjoy because she happened to create this art for my kind of mind. There is so much music out there that I cannot stand to listen to, and for someone else those songs were some kind of salvation. But you’ll never catch me so much as making a comment about a piece of art that did not serve me, like why the fuck would I spend time on that?

Now—I get people defending themselves against Taylor fans who are putting themselves above everyone for understanding this album. Sit down, go on and cry to these songs all you want, and maybe just feel grateful that you do get to like it - those that don’t can find another artist to make their heart feel alive, there are PLENTY of creators out there JUST AS GOOD I promise she is not the end all be all of music and people are allowed to not put her on a pedestal (isnt that the whole point of half of this album? is ANYONE listening???)
