a lot of straight people are legitimately using jojo siwa as an excuse to be horrifically homophobic specifically towards lesbians and a lot of the hatred she gets is specifically related to being a lesbian. i think lesbians are allowed to joke about how ridiculous and tone deaf it is that she’s acting like she’s the first person making explicitly lesbian pop music (and with literally one single, originally written with a straight woman singer in mind) but straight people are always like omg this former child star is cringe… AND she’s a dyke 😬 let’s use this as an opportunity to revive all the homophobic jokes that died in like 2009 bc we have an acceptable target now
