Hey! Little add-on to the Steve Has Older Siblings AU that I’m apparently cultivating in this post and this post, but not going to actually write.

1. Steve’s oldest sister, Elizabeth, has not talked to the family since before Steve was born because his mom is a year older than her. They went to school together. They used to be friends.

2. The first of Steve’s siblings that try to mend their relationship with him is his brother Richie. Steve thinks he’s only trying now because his wife got full custody of their kids in the divorce and moved to Colorado. He has no interest in being anybody’s substitute kid.

3. Jason tried to drown Steve in the pool once. At least that’s how Steve remembers it. Jason remembers it differently. Very differently.

4. His sister, Claire, is secretly his favorite sibling but she did nearly overdose him on children’s Tylenol when he was a baby.

5 The first time Steve met Tommy’s brothers they were so (averagely) nice to him that he cried so hard Mrs H called his mom to pick him up.

Humming a soft tune, I delicately traced my finger around Juliette’s face. She was very unsettled, knowing her favourite person was due home soon… I couldn’t put money on the exact time but she knew it was soon.

Curled up in bed with a pile of blankets wrapped around us, the cold was still finding its way in, with my own body heat and the hundreds of layers Juliette was perfectly toasty… me?

Hell I was freezing my ass off.

“bébé?” (Baby?) The sounds of the door shutting brought me out the trance I was in. Juliette’s eyes widened looking around the room.

“In the bedroom.”

“I like the sound of that!” You could hear the smile in his voice, causing myself to smile and roll my eyes.

“You’ll be highly disappointed.”

The bedroom door was pushed opened, and there was our Charles.

“Highly satisfied actually- are you tired amour?” (Love?)

Nodding my head, I then gently lifted Juliette, holding her close in my arms facing Charles. “And someone else couldn’t sleep until you got home.”

Gasping dramatically he closed the door behind him rushing over to the bed. “My pretty girl.” And once he was in her range- I was completely forgotten about.

Scooping her up into his arms cradling her close he climbed into bed next to me, as gently as possible. “This is so much better than what I was thinking.”

“Dirty mare.” Laughing a little I pulled the piles of blankets over us both.

“My Jules, you can sleep now…” whispering softly, kissing the top of her head, her eyes were slowly opening and closing, she really was okay to rest now her dad was home.

Laying on my side I watched them both, I know our Juliette loved me, but the love she and Charles have is unbeatable, and I would happily stand second place to our perfect little girl.

“I don’t think I can ever get enough of her” My eyes glanced up toward Charles, a light smile on my face- cheeks a little warm.

“She’s perfect huh?” Charles eyes met mine, a smile already on his face.

“She is” reaching over, his hand brushed over my cheek.

“Darling you’re freezing!”

Laughing a little, I cupped his hand running my thumb over his knuckles. “Can’t seem to warm up.”

“Guess I’ll have to cuddle closer hm?”

“Just a little bit.” Smiling wider we both moved slightly closer, Juliette nestled comfortably between us both.

“I don’t think life could get any better than this mon amour…” (my love…) whispering he brought my hand over placing a delicate kiss to my knuckles. “Never any better.”

Silence fell between us both, Charles watching Juliette like a hawk, arm now resting around her.

“Want a warm drink?” Nodding his head in response I got up from the bed wrapping a blanket around myself.

Once I had us both a hot chocolate made, I brought both mugs upstairs placing them down on Charles side- quickly rushing round and hopping back in carefully.

“That’s freez-” and just like that I fell in love with him all over again.

Charles and Jules were both sound asleep, little smiles on their faces. They soothed each other into a perfect slumber.

He took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of his nose even as Dan cackled while opening the door more to let them inside. “Alright, what’s your name, kids?”

“B-billy…um, Billy Batson...” “‘m Percy! Percy Jackson.” 

“Nice to meet you two- any idea where in your family you have a god or two, because one of you definitely smells like Zeus and I’m pretty sure Poseidon and I am not dealing with either of my half-brothers.”
