Here’s my drawing for @corvidiss’s fic Five Weeks Later !! We worked together in @dghdabigbang’s reverse bang!! We made a Good Omens au with Demon!Todd and Angel!Dirk :))

Here we have our Reverse Mini Bang WIPs!

Use this form to indicate which piece you want to write a companion fic for, and I'll update this post throughout the day to indicate which ones have been claimed. We do allow for double claims, but only after every piece has been claimed by one author.

1.

Vampire!Dirk and Familiar!Todd. Dirk is tall, elegant, long-haired and dressed in clothing reminiscent of classic Romanian styles from around the 1800-1900 turn of the century, including high-collared tunic and loose trousers, wide cummerbund and an extended cape-like shawl tied across his chest, all of which will be trimmed with ornate embroidery/weaving detail. Todd is dressed plainly in a hoodie and jeans. They are standing chest to chest, Todd in the process of tying Dirk's cape fastening for him. Todd has his head slightly bowed with a little secret smile, and is blushing noticeably. Dirk is gazing down at him wonderingly, his clawed hands hovering near Todd's waist, wanting to touch but not daring to.

2. - CLAIMED

A vague parody/homage of those really classic slasher horror movie posters. A shadowy forest scene from worm's eye perspective, Priest in the foreground (with a fucking machete bc FUCK YEAH) and Dirk and Todd in the background next to a tree looking vaguely concerned and frightened.

3. - CLAIMED

Panto and Silas are in a rowboat over the lake at night. Panto is kissing Silas’s hand. Final plan is to have it zoomed out a little farther and digital. There will be a forest in the background as well as the smiling moon. It takes place at dusk. The flowers on the bow of the boat will be glowing and there will be fireflies all around. I might make the boat bigger.

Against the dark backdrop of the backstage of reality, Hugo Friedkin stands at the bottom of the image, with lightning-like streaks extending from his hands to top of the image, where there are constellation shapes.

5. - CLAIMED

This time I'd like to see some crossover with Doctor Who - some playing with an idea that through his life Dirk met the Doctor in his/her different regenerations. This art will illustrate such a meeting. Dirk is pre-Seattle at his London agency. The Doctor he's chatting with is 13 but the writer(s) can explore other meetings as well (with Dirk being a young boy Svlad, a Blackwing project, a student in Cambridge etc). Their conversations can be light or angsty, it's the writer's choice. I imagine in this particular scene Dirk is feeling rather lonely, at the start of a new chapter of his life while the Doctor faces some of her own internal struggles. But it can be a fun conversation as well. Can't wait to see what an author will bring into it!

6. - CLAIMED

Dirk Gently is lying stomach-up on a couch, his left knee pointing to the ceiling, his head laying on the armrest. He is smugly explaining something to Todd, Farah and Mona, Todd and Farah standing behind the couch, Todd annoyed and Farah confused, and Mona sitting on the ground near Dirk's head, also confused.

7. - CLAIMED

Todd sharing his music tastes with Dirk via headphones and an old-skool MP3. Dirk and Todd are standing next to each other with music notes swirling behind them. Dirk has one hand on his headphones and one hand on the MP3 player that Todd is holding in both hands.

8. - CLAIMED

Good Omens/demon & angel AU Brotzly. Dirk finds a lonely Todd and decides to offer some company. Dirk and Todd both have wings. Dirk is standing, smiling and waving at a sad-looking Todd who is sitting and looking up at him.

Hi, the calendar just says that the reverse bang has been postponed to 2022 but doesn't say when the post date is? I just wanted to double check when the posting needed to be done by.

Completed works may be posted any time between February 26-March 12!
