Going back to what you said before about the country that PAFL takes place in being the worst of the USSR and modern federal Russia mixed together, ¿in that case does that imply that it's kinda like a dystopia? ¿Or just a developing country?
Real life federal russia IS a dystopia lmao

Artist Mikhail Khokhlachev, known throughout the world as Michael Cheval 🇷🇺
Michael Cheval (Mikhail Khokhlachev) was born in Kotelnikovo, a small town in southern Russia. Growing up in an artistic family, his love of drawing was encouraged from early childhood by his father, Mikhail Khokhlachev, a self-taught artist and by his grandfather, Yuri Lipov, a professional artist and sculptor. His ability developed quickly and by three years old, he could already draw complex compositions.

🪆 - I'm fine with darker but any one mentioning stars/space? :)
Yoooo I've totally got you! Mostly I've been sharing poetry from the Silver Age and earlier, but since you asked:
Yuri Gagarin was a great Russian poet; Russia shoved him out of herself and into the sky, as if in exile, as if to the Caucasus, and he boarded a carriage, that is, a rocket-- for the path of rockets, that's the path of poets-- and said, "Let's go!" and smiled his Gagarin smile. And in that smile was the whole earth, the very best that's here, Earth in blue radiance, news to the sky from humanity-- because the poet's one who speaks with the sky, overcoming gravity as if it was a language barrier.
