I love the idea that Alastor is color blind, because a) "adds a bit of color, don't you think?" while referring to his green bar, b) it would explain why he occasionally switches color schemes while using his powers, because he thinks it's more showy than what he sees as slightly tinted grey, c) he'd probably be unaware of it, meaning we could get another Ace in the Hole situation, d) he wouldn't know that his main color is that bright red, he'd probably just see it as I mentioned earlier, e) the deer color spectrum is aroace colors, I could go on for hours on this
