Was ist denn plötzlich im spatort fandom los? Man liest hier auf einmal Dinge über Spaltungen und fake leaks und Leute die das fandom "verlassen" wollen... Guys curating your fandom experience is okay! Just don't follow people you don't want to follow! Seid nur in Servern wo ihr Spaß habt! Blacklists und Blockfunktion existieren aus nem Grund! Nicht alles so ernst nehmen!

Ich verstehe, dass nicht jeder seit 10+ Jahren in online spaces unterwegs ist und die Erfahrungen gemacht hat die ich z.b. gemacht habe. Ich habe fandom wars gesehen like you can't even imagine. Der Trick ist einfach offline zu gehen! It's not real!!

Leute haben eine andere Interpretation? Let them! Leute wollen eher Pia und Esther sehen als Adam und Leo? Let them!! Leute schreiben omegaverse smut fic und dir gefällt es nicht? OKAY DON'T READ IT. Man kann Schauspieler für ihr acting mögen oder in einer Rolle feiern aber sie trotzdem kritisieren/cringe finden/mal ne Rolle blöd finden!! Just keep it in fandom spaces und harrassed niemanden und gut is. Es kann auch mal Spaß machen andere Takes zu lesen und sich zu denken 'boah die Person labert quatsch' - aber kommentier es nicht drunter. Schon wird niemand verletzt!

Fandom kann so fun sein. Mein Appell: organisiert euch selbst eure fandom experience, sucht euch aus mit wem ihr interagiert und findet außer spatort andere Gemeinsamkeiten. Wenn Spatort era endet bin ich sad, ja, aber guess what! Es gibt noch viele andere Sachen mit denen man sich beschäftigen kann.

the more i let the thought that the advisor is Andre Beetroot (WOOOOO!) ferment in my head the more i'm on board with it, it is simply too perfect.

firstly yeah he does give off the Beetroot vibe, but because it's not so strong as maybe in Bobsleds i like to think that this was one of of his first gigs.

Andre Beetrooy is always there to put together and commentate events, the eternal host, if you will, and with the way he's so proud about organizing the ballet it has just cememted in my mind that that was one of his first events! (so proud of him)

i love him more with every passing second!

AB- available whenever and for whatrver you need, be it a soup competition, ballet, or a bobsled race- the best host anywhere! (even if people die, you'll have fun!)

I've been sniggering at this something for the past half an hour or so, and thus I'll force it upon your feeds. Under a read more, obviously, I'd rather you consent to my foolery.

So anyway, there I was, kinda lazily scrolling through ig stories as one does, not really paying intelligent attention to much anything, when suddenly:

So naturally I go, Hmm that's interesting, the ad says the link ends stockholm.se, that doesn't sound much like Helsinki now does it. But also, is he really coming to Finland, really really? At this point I'm pretty giddy with excitement due to the #suomimainittu effect.

I obviously click on the link because I'm curious, lo and behold, it is indeed an event in Stockholm. Specifically, Comic Con Stockholm, 3.-5.5.2024

And I go, ha, Misha's marketing team done fucked up, cute.

No matter. It gave me a smile, what a nice thing, especially today.

And I continue scrolling lazily through the stories, maybe paying a bit more attention at this point, still not very intelligent but it is 10pm and yesterday was boop day so what can we expect, when the next ad happens:

HELLO FRIENDS HOLIDAY CHAOS IS OVER!

Or - at the very least- as over as it is going to be. There will still be stress and such but i think the storm has passed. I can poke my little nose out of my burrow and start taking a collective look about and branch back into creating.

I have some very exciting news- well. Exciting for me personally. I bought a computer !

For about a year or more now ive been computer-less and writing everything and anything on my phone(like the hobgoblin I am). So formatting and beauty was not something i could see or do for any of my Computer based peeps. I just wrote. I used to write on my old computer- but when it began to get buggy too I migrated to my phone. Then that computer - well…

It kinda imploded.

SO! I made the big decision to invest and bought the little laptop of my dreams. Ive wanted a Mac computer since I was 12 (those old blue desktop ones were SO COOL!)

Im learning the ropes still with it (i legit just got it out of the box two days ago) and feeling it out. I have to get all my apps onto it that I use for writing and then

THEN I CAN LET LOOSE THE FLOOD GATES. I HAVE THINGS RATTLING IN MY SKULL. IDEAS FOR LITTLE FICS, CONTINUING MY FIC, BRANCHING INTO OTHER CONTENT AND FANBASES AND FINALLY. F I N A L L Y. Getting the hardcore draft of my first novel set up. Big plans for 2024. Im ready and excited and i cant wait. This year imma grab it and make it mine!
