Started off today with a short hike in the “enchanted forest” right by our friends’ house. It’s very beautiful and quite popular with runners and dog walkers. After returning to their house and a bit of rest, we drove to Sherwood to visit Alloro Winery, and Cana’s Feast Winery in Carlton. We had a wine flight at Alloro, and a single glass of wine at Cana’s Feast- all very good. The wine area southwest of Portland is gorgeous, with rolling hills, forest, farmland and vineyards. After returning to Portland we had dinner at our friends’ home before turning in.

Phenomenal wine pick up party with our friends’s April amd Bryam where the winemaker’s customers swing over to the vineyard and have some food and pick up their orders. Place looks like Tuscany, with beautiful rolling hills and bocce courts right at the distillery. #wine (at Cana's Feast Winery)
