Public nightmare. Going out with her is so humiliating but unlike Jinx it's not because she's weird it's because she's a FUCKING BITCH!!!!!! She's so incredibly full of herself. Walks the streets like she owns the place and will randomly get in fights just so she can win and impress you. Like it'll be some poor guy just minding his own business and she'll walk by and shove his face into the wall while staring at u intensely... it's actually really scary. She is a customer service workers #1 fear, the second you two walk into a store or a restaurant suddenly everyone's on lunchbreak. Never tips. One mean mug from her could make a gay starbucks barista cry.

Constantly grumbling about something. Loves to complain about EVERYTHINGGGG. The line at the bar, the weather, her shoulder pain, it never ends. Sometimes you can't tell if she's actually upset or just grumpy for fun. "Why is this drink so weak? It might as well be water." Ok then why did you CHUG THE WHOLE THING AND ORDER 2 MORE???

Randomly puts stuff on high shelves just to mess with you. This lady is huge so if she knows you can’t reach something, she’ll put it on a higher shelf on purpose just to watch you struggle. This stems from 2 things. 1. Her being a bitch that loves to mess with you and make you mad because she thinks it's funny, and 2. her constant need to be the one to "save" you.

Loves being your dyke in shining armor LMAOOO. Like I said she likes being needed in a sense. If you have a problem or need something done and she isn't the first person you ask for help she'll genuinely get offended. Like how dare you not immediately come to her for help knowing she's always down to help you (when she feels like it)

Always wins arguments (not because she's right). Sevika never loses an argument. She’s too good at staying calm and turning things around on you, even when she’s clearly wrong. The way she knowingly and shamelessly gaslights you just makes you let it go in the end. "I can't understand you when you're being this emotional." while she has this shit eating grin on her face oh my god.

Has a short temper... She holds the world record for most pet peeves ever. Dumb questions, pointing out the obvious, snoring, just to name a few. I said this in my red flags post but genuinely dumb questions will PISS HER OFF SO BAD... Asking her "Are you awake?" when she literally got into bed 2 minutes ago and her eyes are OPEN. Walking in like "You home?" when literally WHO ELSE WOULD BE THERE??? She'd rather just kick you out honestly.

Caitlyn and Ambessa's Game of Cat and Mouse pt 4- The Herald/Bring in Vi

Now, one of the other scenes that I'm bringing up during pt 3 where i believe that Caitlyn's already picked up on Ambessa wanting a weapon is right after the two are done training. In which after Singed says he's "tracked him to Zaun", Ambessa says, "let's hunt a beast" but the thing is is that the camera switches focus from her to Caitlyn when she says this, they Want you to focus on Caitlyn's reaction to this.

Caitlyn's picked up on the inconsistent language that Ambessa's using when she's speaking to Caitlyn, she knows that Ambessa has no interest in hunting the beast, but she doesn't say anything about it.

When Caitlyn's with Ambessa at the Herald's she looks all intense and whatnot, keeping a face for Ambessa that she's still completely by her side.

however when Ambessa sends Rictus over to Huck, Caitlyn's face glosses over with concern before eyeing Ambessa in suspicion AGAIN, concern that a Completely Unarmed man is going to be killed and suspicion that Ambessa has No issue with doing this. Caitlyn completely understands Just how dangerous Ambessa is, and who she's willing to kill to get her way.

And when Ambessa sends Singed to speak to Viktor, they show Caitlyn's face again, eyes following him but her face is still etched with suspicion, she doesn't trust this whatsoever.

Now, bring Vi back into the picture:

(side note: can we bring up the fact that Caitlyn used the Exact move Ambessa used on her earlier in the episode, GENIUSES these writers, Geniuses i tell you!)

I'm presuming that Caitlyn was probably not only left as lookout for Ambessa, but Caitlyn Herself was hiding in the shadows and was going to follow Singed herself. But with Vi following him, she still has to take them out.

When she recognizes that it's Vi, her face is filled with shock and disbelief, "how/why/what is Vi even doing here?". Vi saying "on the job I see," reminds her of Where they are, so she looks back towards the Noxus base before telling Vi, "you can't be here." like i said, Caitlyn's Fully understanding of how dangerous Ambessa is and would have No issue with killing Vi.

Because despite the two leaving things off the way that they did, she'd really rather not have Ambessa kill her.

Vi calling Caitlyn "cupcake" doesn't snap her like "oh Vi called me my pet name, let's just betray Ambessa now!" it's more of a look of "Vi doesn't hate me?", because the way the two left things off back in Ep 3... well... yea I'm sure that's what Caitlyn's probably been thinking this whole time, and I don't blame her, what Caitlyn did Was really bad and would give reason for Vi to hate her.

Caitlyn remains in the shadows watching Rictus give orders, because again, she's been eyeing Ambessa and figuring out her moves on how she's going to get what she wants this whole time.

This is the other scene that makes me believe that Caitlyn picked up on Ambessa's tone in pt 3, her specific wording of "chem weapon." Caitlyn explains to Vi, "We've tracked some sort of new chem weapon down here. A bloodthirsty murderous beast." by using the word "chem weapon" she's fully aware that Ambessa's after it, not to hunt it, to use it. And that's the kind of thing Caitlyn doesn't want Ambessa to have her hands on, because it makes her all the more dangerous.

When Vi says, "Trying to save my dad." it causes her to realize that the "bloodthirsty murderous beast" is who Vi's talking about. That, With the growing suspicions of Ambessa is what causes her to help Vi come up with a plan. Because her trust in Vi, and wanting to Help Vi overshadows her "loyalty" to Ambessa, not that Ambessa had it to begin with.

Caitlyn hates vi bcz she knows that jace was in prision due to vi and her gang.

Vi loves caity the moment she saw her when she was stealing in jace office. But she acts all tough.

7. Caitlyn got a gift from ambessa for getting a high rank promotion and becoming a powerful and richest person in such a young age in the entire country and winning the war against different cities.

The gift was inside the cage and the cage was shaking a lot like they captured some lion in it with angry oil slick hair.

9. Vi is in prision as she surrender herself instead of Jinx. Caitlyn enter her prision telling her that she predicted her move and vi fell right into her trap just like some rabbit in a very seductive and taunting way. Telling Vi that She is like an angry pet.. Easily fooled and tamed.

10. Caitlyn is gifted Vi as a pet for her 18th birthday. Vi hate caitlyn. Caitlyn is very arrogant snobby smart person and loves Vi the moment she saw her. She is brat to everyone except vi. But vi is very cold to her. She just satisfy cait when caitlyn want her to. For caitlyn it's love but for vi it's like doing a slave duty. Will love ever blossom between them? Can caitlyn break rich and poor person ideology.

EXPERIENCE  /  HOW  LONG  (  MONTHS  /  YEARS? ) :　Holy shit, you want me to count that far back. You want me to tell you how old I really am!?! So, I started to roleplay when computers were pretty new to houses. YES! I was one of those kids that was graced by the first computers in houses! I think my first computer was a IMB one or something, but I started playing on a computer with internet back in 2000. My parents didn't have a lot of money so we couldn't get an earlier computer; this was a gift from a friend at church for me. It had Windows 98 I think or something. I don't know.

Anyway, got distracted, but when that  came around, one of the first forums every I think that had roleplaying on the web was called Avidgamers. I played Pokemon as a self insert character. One liner diaster writer I was. So yeah, I've been roleplaying for about 23 years now, but in terms of writing, I have been writing stories since I was 9 years old, so that is about 26 years (I use to also write self insert stories in Sailor Moon or Pokemon or things like that XD). Anywho, I went on a tangent, anyone who reads this your amazing.

BEST  EXPERIENCE :　Oh man, I'm not sure. There are so many things that could be my best. I use to own forums before, I had some amazing partners. I miss them dearly and I hope they are doing amazing things now. Honestly, I think its just the level of growth I've had over the years. From going to being a self-insert writer who could only write a line or two, to now trying to expand my writing and doing more. To be more quality then quantity, but also meeting partners who absolutely challenge me to write better and be better. I want to be good for people, but there are those partners that absolutely push me to try even harder and be even better.

RP  PET  PEEVES  /  DEALBREAKERS :　I'm not saying this is a pet peeve? but I typically stray away from one liners or massive purple prose writing that I don't understand what I'm reading. While I never deny anyone's choice of writing, these are the things I tend to stay away from because I personally cannot write them. I  can't really say what my pet peeves are? I probably have some but I don't know of the top of my mind.

MUSE  PREFERENCES  FLUFF,   ANGST  OR  SMUT :　I am, hands down, an absolute fiend for angst. I know it might be overwhelming for some people but I really find it carthatic for myself? and have a double enjoyment of angst that turns to fluff. I like to call it Angsty Fluff, or Fluffy Angst. The bonding of two people in difficult moments whether that is fighting to survive death or helping someone through a rough period. Two people, bonding and encouraging each other is something I really enjoy to write. I also don't mind writing smut, I actually enjoy it but I do tend to write smut with people who I heavily plot with often.

PLOTS  OR  MEMES :　Plots. While I post memes a lot, I do try to create a plot line to those memes too. I need some kidn of foundation. I am not looking for a written out script we have to follow to a T, that's not what I mean. What I am looking for is just like this idea to build around, maybe even talking about our muses connections and waht they are dealing with at the time. That kind of foundation and design really helps me feel more connected to our msues and the writing. I love memes, but I tend to only continue memes with people I plot with a lot.

LONG  OR  SHORT  REPLIES :　I love long threads. like you don't have to apologize for anything because I thrive on really long replies. I have had replies go up to 1.5k words, which absolutely thrills me. The shortest replies I can do is maybe 2 paragraphs. Any shorter then that, and I tend to loose interest and have to drop it.

BEST TIME TO WRITE :　Honestly, no idea. I am far more productive at night my time (CST). I tend to stay up til 2 or 3am.

ARE  YOU  LIKE  YOUR  MUSE(S) :　Caitlyn is very much my muse, so much so we relate on many different levels. I understand her deeply and I'm very connected to her. As for my other muses, yes and now. But caitlyn, hands down, is almost like a part of me that I get to write fully.

How I feel about this character - Oh, where do I start? You've heard this all before. I love him. His story reflects my own. He got me through the darkest part of my life, and continues to get me through tough times. My all-time ultimate favorite character who shows no signs of being dethroned.

All the people I ship romantically with this character - In canon, his relationship with Psylocke is nice, and he's had a couple other partners that I've never minded. Wish the comic writers would officially make him bisexual bc I swear it's all right there and they just won't commit to it. But of course I think he and Rae are the best <3

My non-romantic OTP for this character - I think he's the type of character who could make friends with just about anybody with enough time, he's got such a good heart and just drips charisma, but my favorite idea is definitely him and Kurt making friends after the cage fight and everything with Apocalypse, and realizing they both were forced into it.

My unpopular opinion about this character - He's not weak, and he's not useless. A lot of people in the X-Men fandom don't really seem to like him as much because he doesn't have exciting powers, they think the fact that he just has wings (and superstrength and healing factor but oh well-) kind of boring, but to me that's the core of his character. His wings make it impossible for him to fit in with the humans without painfully restraining them, but his powers aren't exciting enough to really keep up with the X-Men as new and powerful mutants are discovered, and that's the point! That's what sets him apart from so many of the other X-Men!

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - I wish they'd gone into, or at least hinted at his survival/redemption/etc. after being a Horseman in X-Men: Apocalypse. Instead they just killed him off, which is such a disservice to his character.

How I feel about this character - I was kind of neutral about him at first, I thought his story was interesting and I definitely vibed with the disability allegory, but I was more distracted by the whole plot with Vi and Caitlyn and Jinx and didn't really pay as much attention to Viktor and Jayce. But after seeing your posts and your fic about him, I definitely like him more!

All the people I ship romantically with this character - Jayce is really the only main one

My non-romantic OTP for this character - Uhhhh I really don't know. He tends to keep to himself, and that's fine. Though I really like his family vibes you have with Arline, if OCs count?

My unpopular opinion about this character - Skipping this one, I'm not deep enough into fandom opinions about him to know what's unpopular, and I haven't seen the show in a while

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - Give this man a pet! Let us see the grief at first, and him not wanting to get attached after what happened to the last pet he had, but slowly realizing the indifference is only hurting the animal more... I mean, just think about the emotional depth of that!!

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

13 at the moment. I’ve deleted a few things that I’m not entirely proud of/works that I’m planning on rewriting and improving upon.

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

26,031 (my WIP folder has almost 100k words, if we want any comparison)

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Mainly Dragon Age! Although AO3 is misleading… I’ve only got 7 fics on there for Dragon Age. But these don’t include the ones I’ve deleted and also the literal hundreds of WIP documents in my writing folder. It’s become quite a problem. I’ve also been writing for Baldur’s Gate 3 a bit more recently, but those fics are on hold because of lack of time/motivation/the fact I’ve not finished the game yet and want to do my research and understand characterisation and plot better.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

I try to! Every single comment I get is like fuel to my brain so I love and appreciate each one!

I think I did toy around with a fic where I left Hawke in the Fade. The process of getting into Fenris’ headspace during that was way too painful for me to continue.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most of my fics tend towards happy endings, even if they pack a lot of angst in the body of em. Of the ones I’ve got published, I’d say Names.

I haven’t, but then again I post so rarely and sporadically so people forget I even exist huhu.

I’ve not written crossovers per se, I’m more of an AU kinda guy. Though there’s definitely an ancient story I wrote back when I was like 13 that had like, every single bit of media I’d ever loved merged into one, and the excuse was that I’d just read His Dark Materials and wanted my own universe where everything I loved existed at once. COMPLETELY self-indulgent shit.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

It’s the Dragon Age Inquisition rewrite I’ve been complaining about for the longest time. It’s become the pet project I keep poking at whenever I have the energy to. All my Tashak/Josephine fics are set within this, and honestly at this point, instead of making one large fic, I might as well just post the disjointed chapters separately even if they don’t make sense. I’ve got WIPs in the folder from 2016. It’s out of control.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I’d like to think I’m good at descriptive writing, at drawing the reader into the scene and pulling them along with the story.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I’m so bad at dialogue it’s not even funny. Also, my writing can tend towards too much rambling – I guess that’s just because it’s the way my brain works.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

The only other language I’m fluent in is Malay, and I really can’t imagine myself writing in that unless in very specific circumstances.

Just saw Smile (2022) and was not super impressed

I know I'm a year late, but spoilers under the cut.

The movie started out strong, and seemed to decline as it went on and its tension-building mechanisms became tired and repetitive. Rose's hallucinations went from just seeing the monster that no one else can see à la It Follows (tension! danger, maybe! isolation!), to having realistic nightmares (mostly just buildup to a jumpscare, but at least plot-relevant, in that it's showing the effects on Rose), to full-blown "it was all a dream and none of the climactic scene actually mattered" (bullshit).

As the mystery of the Smile-curse-entity is unraveled, the movie leans more and more on jumpscares to maintain tension, but fails to give an impression that the curse is worsening or getting closer. Rose consistently gets about one scare per day throughout, and they seem to alternate in mildness/severity, rather than building to a peak. It ends up feeling more like the writers are remembering to sprinkle scares in last-minute, and less like a building threat.

The hospital dream and final monster reveal feel like a hamfisted attempt to bring this "progression" to a head. The whole part of what makes the monster scary is the creepy smile and the uncertainty about its next appearance, and that all vanishes when people start tearing their faces off. This could have been forgivable if the scene of Rose confronting her mother had done what it purported to, and actually resolved Rose's trauma enough that the monster could not feed on it. Instead we got a Mary Sue of an antagonist, whose powers grow suddenly from causing short-term hallucinations/nightmares and memory loss, to completely fabricating a physical fight, a housefire, and a long drive back to civilization, as well as apparently making Rose stare quietly at a door for several hours while she is found.

The movie feels like it was written by someone who grossly misinterpreted the ending of The Babadook, and conflated "trauma never really goes away" with "trauma is eternal and all-consuming no matter what you do".

(Also Caitlyn Stacey is the only one with a properly creepy smile, the others mostly look awkward. And I can't be the only one who thinks so, because hers is the one that made it onto the movie poster. (Also also murdering the pet is cheap and overdone))

tl;dr It has a good premise, but relies on cheap tricks to maintain tension, and severely undermines itself by pulling a "it was all a dream" on the climactic scene and reversing the moral of the story

Why this fic:

Look I am a red blooded WLW so I have a healthy rotation of E for Explicit smutting PWP fic on the read later list mmmmkay? Although I tend not to put these on the bookmark list because let’s be honest, it’s not usually high quality moving writing that is the main draw of these types of reads.

But Piltie Pet has some real meat to it - some real depth is given to Caitlyn and Vi in this fic and it addresses the not easy topic of power dynamics between the two given their positions in society and the divide between Piltover and Zaun. It’s a real story with real progression and it does all that while also being SEXY AS HELL.

I openly gasped at one point during my first read of this fic not because of explicit smut because of the sexiness of a unexpected cut off of a ramping up sexy moment.

And look - if you have been paying any attention to CaitVi fic this side of rated M you’ve been running into the Praise Kink tag because our collective fandom energy has CORRECTLY assessed there is somethin a foot between these two characters that is palpable. Listen - one of these two is calling the other Good Girl in a sexual context and that is just fact okay? Just accept it. With that said - guess what fic does it better than any other I’ve read? This one right here.

I’ve recently begun to try my hand at Reader POV stories, and I’ve found that I quite enjoy writing them!  I wanted to put together a handy-little guide as to what I’m willing to write, my comforts and strengths, and some of my weaknesses. When submitting a request, you can be as detailed or as vague as you would like when it comes to the reader-insert and the plot.

If I see one that sticks out to me (either as something I’m comfortable with already, or would simply like to give a try), I’m more than happy to write it, but a submission is not a guarantee that it’ll get done!

I would prefer to write female characters for any of my reader stories. I’m not against writing a trans-headcanon of characters that appear traditionally masculine in the series, but I would prefer not to because I don’t really identify as trans myself, despite being non-binary (I pass feminine/androgynous and don’t deal with many “trans” issues or experiences myself despite having mild dysphoria, if that makes sense?)

I will only write female reader content. However, you’re welcome to suggest any attributes or personalities or whatnot when you submit your request. Again, I’m a bit uncomfortable with writing a trans-reader just because I’m unfamiliar with the experience, but it’s not a hard-no. 

I will not write explicit/suggestive content with an underage reader. Please respect my boundaries!

Happy to write any rating, with any sort of tone (though I’m least practiced with fluff-content and most practiced with hurt/comfort, angst, or just generally moody tones). I would prefer not to write too AU, as I do like Arcane and it’s setting, but IDK for the right prompt I could definitely do something like a modern-AU or whatnot.
