prince of monaco ౨ৎ
notes: charles leclerc x reader, est. relationship, suggestive content, alcohol, insinuation of nudity (bathing) but no explicit details or sexual activity.
a/n: i wrote this at 11pm & it's a little ridiculous but this is also me projecting my manifestations for him to win his home grand prix this weekend.
The sweet aroma of your Miss Dior: Eau de Parfum in damask rose and incense against pink peonies, clean linen sheets mussed about the inviting embrace of the bed, café au lait from a drained mug on the nightstand beside sweet-smelling lilies, and white, lace stockings abandoned and draped over the velvet loveseat.
Charles' claim of 1st at the Monaco Grand Prix was most blessing, and the perfect excuse for a long night of a plentiful of Moët & Chandon champagne, honorary chants, and celebratory reverie: announcing him the 'prince' of his beloved home, a victory he has been yearning for, since forever.
You had remained with him through the week, watching and admiring through every practice session from your usual seat, enjoying luncheon together and laughing over the usual lovey-dovey or noncommittal subjects as a means to distract him from his nerves before qualifying – the kind of thing he doesn't admit to but you know is only human – and your never-leaving gaze throughout the Grand Prix itself.
Until you got to watch from below with love hearts in your eyes when he stood on that podium, in his true and most divine stature whilst the crowds called for him and the Monégasque anthem resonated like the music of the heavens.
Now, it is quiet in the apartment you both call home, all minimalist but comfortable interior in a palette of white, créme, beige and hints of colour against the décor that define it as yours: the polished trophies before the white-varnished piano, heavy and velvet curtains stirring lazily about closed balconies of their rocaille-esque motifs, the abandoned sweater forgotten on the sofa, your rose crocheting yarn on the coffee table beside a copy of last month's Vogue.
Peaceful and content, stood before the ornate mirror in the en-suite of polished marble and quiet luxury, humming some gentle and absent tune to yourself as you comb your hair – dressed down to the comfortable, white gossamer silk of your négligée – whilst the only tune that resounds being the hushed television down the hall.
It is only a minute later that you are interrupted from your daydreaming by the sound of the mahogany front door as it draws open and closed. The familiar clink of keys set down on the oak furniture in the foyer, shuffled footfalls a little less balanced than usual, quickly silenced against the sound of a familiar voice like melting caramel on the subtle, slurring song of inebriation.
"Chérie?"
Hair comb set down on the neat counter beside the porcelain embellished basin, you absently gnaw at your lower-lip whilst silent feet wander the parquestry of the flooring through the flat in your approach to the source of your boyfriend's return, tucking a hair behind your ear, "Charles, I'm–"
The words are lost on the edge of your tongue the second you emerge from the bedroom's suite, down past the plush sitting area to be met by the sight of him where the corridor joins the rest of the homely setting.
"Bonsoir, bébé."
Even when he is slightly hair-tousled with damp, brunet strays falling about his forehead and the linen of his shirt slightly wrinkled, Charles is a handsome man, devastatingly so; the kind of beautiful that renders the air from your lungs a little even when you hold back light laughter at him now.
From his posture, an effort of an elegant curve to his physique like he is trying to be some suave, pretty flirt from those old, romance comedies you watch, where one elbow is propped against the wood arch of the threshold – the only thing evidently holding him upright – whilst his flushed cheeks strain a little on a dimpled, lazy and contagious smile.
"Hello, Charles."
"Ma belle, I missed you, I'm home," With something close to a brief pout and an attempt at a wink, the man lets his lovely eyes dance down and along your own figure in a lingering admiration and a slow, drawn-out smirk that looks both laughable and far-too-endearing, lithe fingers absently adjusting his loosened shirt collar as you come closer.
"I can see that," In response, you try not to appear amused though it is perceptible on the curve by the corner of your sweet mouth when his eyes follow the subtle shift of your hips as you draw forward until your arms fold around his midriff, breathing him in: champagne and cologne, hints of warm amber and rosewood. "You're drunk."
His arm falls around your shoulder comfortably as he sways against you, kissing the crown of your head like a useless reassurance when he murmurs a lieu of words in the thickened curl of his accent, "Non, ça va, je–"
"Charles." Your face shifts with a look, the both of you stumbling a little backwards where his weight almost has you falling on the edge of a floral rug, a hushed, noncommittal sound close to a chuckle falling from the man as he buries his face into the side of your neck with the punctuation of an open-mouth kiss.
"D'accord, d'accord."
"Stupid," You mutter affectionately, rolling your eyes fondly despite knowing all too well what has him so distracted, the warmth of his mouth and the gentle rasp of his five o'clock shadow tickling the underside of your jaw and the sensitivity there, a purr reverberating from the back of his throat as a response.
"Are you hungry– would you like anything?"
"Just you, chérie, I want to..." The Monégasque trails off momentarily like he is disputing internally with his own dialogue, lightly calloused palms feeling the curve of your waist through pale silk before pausing at your derrière absently – tracing his tongue against the edge of pearlescent teeth – as the two of you move further through the sitting room, his voice a whisper, "Je veux te baiser, mon ange."
With a blush dusting the edges of your cheekbones at the obscène words, you offer a half-apologetic smile whilst stroking back his tousled hair, "How about we get dressed down and settled first, at least?"
Initially, he seems reluctant to offer any hint of acquiescence but he eventually nods a little with a vague sound of acknowledgement, fingertips still feeling over your figure as you walk the path together before reaching the bathroom, the door falling shut gently.
Even when the reality of the presence has you accepting tonight shall be long, the man is undoubtedly his most entertaining and equally sweet as romanticised prophecies when he is intoxicated.
"Mm," It is the only indication you are given when Charles' touch falls upon the lace edges of your négligée, drawing it down the curve of your shoulder slowly as he traces the shell of your ear with his mouth, "You're wearing my favourite."
A soft laugh leaves the depth of your chest – a hushed affirmative sound in reply – before his hands come to cradle either side of your jaw tenderly whilst his thumb caresses the apple of your cheek, the kiss that follows his gentle persuasion more loving, his lips parted softly.
Just as quickly as the almost peaceful, drawn-out intimacy begins, it ends when he gives some hushed, breathless sound of sheer enjoyment whilst his hips absently meets yours until you feel the edge of the basin behind, a palm splaying over his chest just enough to encourage him from pausing.
"We can have a nice bath first and then I might consider your suggestion, monsieur," You offer gently in hushed humour, undoing the remaining buttons of his shirt whilst sealing your sentence with a chaste kiss near his chin.
"I'd much rather have you."
"So romantic," Muttering the words quietly, your nose brushes the bridge of his own fractionally where you see the slight glaze of liquor in his eyes, like gentle moss and warm oak, his mouth shifting almost proudly with momentarily met gazes.
"Only for you, mon cœur, I could write you sonnets of love, la mélodie de tes yeux–"
"Okay, Romeo Montague, how about you wash first?"
The initial hope had only been to coax him into the warmth of the bath waters amongst a touch lavender oil that threatens to lull him further into quiet and peace, wash his hair from your seat and prevent the possibility of any difficulty, though clothes are mutually forgotten on the marble floors and small, white-cotton rug when he guilts you into joining him.
"Charles," A whisper of his name though the cadence of your voice lacks the intent of reproach, bodies close together as he guides you into a comfortable situation about his lap whilst you work nimble fingers through his dampened hair slowly, hoping to distract him from anything but washing and settling down from the dizziness of too much alcohol.
"You smell nice," He mumbles indulgently against your shoulder, tracing a kiss on the jut of your collarbone in the dreamy lull of his voice as though lost in the figments of his own thoughts, "Like les fleurs..."
"And you smell like a bottle of Moët."
The man offers a lowered tune of disagreement, a palm idly stroking the curve of your thigh and down the inside of your knee beneath the warm water as you lather the product through his tresses, holding back a smile when he responds drunkenly like some smitten, hopeless lover of the poets:
"Non, c'est seulement le parfum des nuages."
It is the kind of sweet words that would usually have your cheeks warming or laughing like some conjured image of him in your mind, rifling through books of poetry because you cannot fathom him thinking of such phrases alone, though the moment his lips find the curve of your throat and the sensitive area beneath your jaw, it is harder not to succumb to the gentle temptation and let him have his way, a sigh falling from you.
"What are you doing?"
"Loving you." He says the words so easily, like it is the simplest, most natural truth he could ever admit, the warmth and wetness of his mouth trailing the lines of your throat and across the arch of your shoulders.
"You're ridiculous."
"Ridiculously in love with you," He sounds proud of himself. Then, he is guiding the two of you, bodies pressed flush against one another as you are moved back, the weight of him familiar and the pressure of his mouth meeting yours slowly, "Let me love you, s'il vous plaît, ma chérie."
There are the smallest fragments of his soul and the secrets of his heart within the way his body moves, the gentle touch and the softness, the vulnerability and the passion even in the humour of his intoxicated mannerisms; how he makes love and the manner he holds you after, and there is an undeniable and irrefutable trust you hold for him alone.

Wie hier auf der Mäuseinsel vor Korfu, der Insel, zu der Kaiserin und…

🌋 🥘 ☀️ for the handwriting meme :3
Handwriting ask meme for @billlybutcher 🥰
🌋: One thing you wish you could be doing right now?
I wish I was on a break from classes right now, and had the opportunity to do some traveling. There are so many places I'd like to go right now, and in my ideal world, I'd be sitting a pretty café with a good cup of coffee (and a pastry) and my sketchbook (and COVID wouldn't be a thing.) Or in front of a cast iron stove/fireplace with a warm drink and a good book. I'd love the opportunity to just relax for a bit/take time to be creative, and not feel like I'm neglecting my studies/be allowed to take time for myself. Wandering through an art museum sounds perfect right now.
🥘: What is the best meal you make? or bake?
I don't make it often, because it's a pain in the ass, and can be fussy, but I make a really good créme brûlée. Six servings takes about a dozen eggs, and they all need to be seperated, and I usually put fresh vanilla beans in them. The flavor is worth it, but dear god they're a pain. The pods aren't super cheap, and have to be cut open and the seeds scraped out to use, and they're tiny/very sticky and get all over everything, including the knife you're trying to use to scrape them out. I've also used the seeds to make vanilla whipped cream before, and if I had even less self-control, it would be something I'd try to keep on hand for coffee or hot chocolate.
☀️: Go to song when you’re feeling on top of the world?
Once again, this might not qualify as a 'top of the world' song but Zydrate Anatomy or Night Surgeon definitely count--especially if you're playing them loud. I know the words to Repo a little too well 😂
Thanks for asking!! Had fun with these 💖💖

idk if you’re still taking prompts but if you are i’d love some nackie with 35 and L 😊
35. “I’m not being nice because I want to sleep with you, but I definitely do want to sleep with you.” / L. Bakery AU
-
Jackie is a creature of habit. If she likes something, she’ll work it into her routine until it comes just like breathing to her. So, when she stopped by a little French bakery on her way to work and fell in love with it, there was no question that it would be part of her daily commute from there on out.
Of course, it didn’t hurt that the owner of the bakery looked like she could’ve been a French model instead of just baking French pastries. And maybe the little crush Jackie had on her was part of why she visited every day, no matter what. “Bonjour, Nicky,” she greeted as she entered the bakery.
“Bonjour, mon chérie,” Nicky greeted, looking up from the macaron tower she was stacking. “The usual?”
“Yes please,” she hummed, leaning against the counter. “You have any specials today?” she asked casually.
Nicky tilted her head in thought as she got Jackie’s standard order - a café créme and a croissant. “I’ve tweaked my canalé recipe recently, probably going to have that front and center,” she mused, handing Jackie the order, then sliding her the small cake. “Here, it’s on me,” she winked.
Jackie grinned and paid for the rest of her order. “You’re so good to me. When I went to Starbucks, the barista was only nice because he wanted to sleep with me,” she chuckled.
“I’m not being nice because I want to sleep with you, but I definitely do want to sleep with you,” Nicky told her, a slight smirk on her lips. They had been flirting rather openly for a while now, but she could play it off as a joke if Jackie felt it went too far.
She blushed, taking a sip of her coffee. “Well, in that case, I might have to come by around closing time.”
Nicky tried not to show just how relieved she was. “I close at nine, I’ll be expecting you,” she winked.

Defending My Honour by wordsarelifealways (1.7k words) - Isak's sure it's about a thousand degrees in Oslo, but it won't be as hot as the hellfire he's going to rain down upon the customer he sees yelling at Even.
I'm FALLing for you by Schedazzle (1.7k words) - It always crept up on Even, one moment everything was green and the next the whole world seemed yellow and cozy and just so nice. This feeling only grew when the little bell above the door went off and his favorite customer came in.

Ready For Those Flashing Lights by ultimatelawrence (2.1k words) - It was meant to be harmless: taking a sneak photo of a hot stranger to send to Eva. Expect it's not so harmless when the flash is on.
Lemon and Ginger: Coffee Shop AU by fictitious99 (2.1k words) - 4 times Even bought a pretentious herbal tea and one time he bought one for Isak.
Mitten found by Kollakolan (2.1k words) - It’s a mitten. And not just any mitten, this is clearly a hand made very personal mitten with a small flowery pattern knitted by some one who put a lot of love into the work. On top of the mitten “Emil” is embroidered. Shit.

I'm not the kind of fool who's gonna sit and sing to you about stars by Plantsandplanets (3k words) - Second year is rough. Isak buys expensive text books with the money his dad sends him and silently worries about Even paying for everything before Even soothes his concerns with soft words and softer touches. His eyes tell Isak to stop worrying, please. Isak nods because Even asked him to even if he didn’t say so.
A Spoon Full of Sugar by MacksDramaticShenanigans (3.3k words) - A spoon. Spoons. Spooning. God, a proper cuddle sounded absolutely heavenly right now. What Isak would give to crawl into bed, burrow into some cozy blankets, and curl into someone’s (Even’s) arms. They could just lay there, maybe Even would trace shapes into Isak’s back, or maybe he’d play with his hair— it didn't matter to Isak, either sounded lovely. It would be warm and comfortable and he’d finally be able to catch up on all the sleep he’d missed.

He's finally starting his surgical rotation at the hospital where he hopes to work someday and he's happily married to his best friend. And I'll find myself in your eyes one day by Evak2121 (Marshmallows07) (3.8k words) - Isak and Even fall in love one day in the Sun
Five Stars by bri_ness (3.9k words) - Even works at a café and is infamous in Yelp reviews as a flirtatious, charming barista. But he’s never wanted to take anyone home—until he meets a man with thirty-eight expressions, an affinity for eye rolls, and a deep hatred of pumpkin spice.
I like my sugar with coffee and cream by imminentinertia (4k words) - 5 times Even buys a coffee +1 time Isak buys a shirt.
For next day will a stranger bring by lovelycarcass (4k words) - On Tuesdays, without fail, Isak's first customer orders a drink at the café, gives a name and leaves. He never uses the same name twice.
Coffee and Krylon by gayashecklmao (4.1k words) - Caught in a daydream filled with technicolor and floating spray paint cans, he doesn't hear the bell above the shops' door ring, indicating that someone has come in. Only when he hears Eva shout an unidentifiable order at him does he turn around. There before him, on the other side of the counter, is possibly one of the prettiest people he’s ever seen.
you keep robbing my heart like a bank by xhorans (4.2k words) - 'How are you, Even?' 'Better now my new favourite customer is here,' in which Isak has a crush on hot barista Even and it's nearly valentine's day
i can't get it right by noirophelia (4.3k words) - “You forgot your sketchbook,” Isak says a bit out of breath and he doesn’t even know why. He has a feeling it’s just what Even usually does to him. Leaving him breathless. “Thank you, Isak,” Then Even smiles and Isak is just. Gone. “You shouldn’t have left your work place for that. Could have just messaged me or something.”
My mind was somewhere else, I guess by rosecolored_girl (4.6k words) - How did Even end up working at Nissen cafeteria? Let's just put it this way: He graduated last year at Bakka, took a gap year to pursue his dreams of traveling the world, realized he didn't have any money to even buy a freaking plane ticket to start with, spent the entire summer feeling sorry for himself...and now, he got a job at high school. Serving people only two or three years younger than him. Great. kinda coffee shop au except it's a cafeteria
from my lips my sin is purged by slvtherxn (4.8k words) - After Even's last relationship with his coworker ended quite messily, his boss has forbidden him from dating any more of her employees. It takes him ten seconds alone with his new trainee before he decides to date him in secret.
he tasted like coffee and lemon drops. by glbertblythes (5.7k words) - Isak gets stood up at Kaffebrenneriet, Even brings him a hot chocolate, and they get to talking.
Don't worry, I've got you by everything_else (5.7k words) - Isak groaned. “Just because I’m new doesn’t mean you can give me the shit jobs” “I’m not. It’s either that or bleaching the toilet, you can choose if you want.” “Okay fine.” Even took another drink of his beer, and cast a teasing look at Isak. “I give you a week.”
(Baby) It's Cold Outside by himmelsky (6.1k words) - December is approaching, but Isak isn’t feeling the Christmas spirit. Barista guy, aka Even, wants it differently.
because your eyes said you were feeling it too by spoopydumpling (6.1k words) - Even and Isak meet when their friends send them on a blind date.
In Sickness and In Health by Flatfootmonster (6.2k words) - That one time he caught me looking through the window, I thought I had to do it then—or I never would. I was sick of being tongue tied—I still am. And so, when I’d finished my coffee, I wrote on the cup: ‘I like you’. That was it. I wasn’t even sure if he was going to read it, but I saw him watch me write it; peering over the counter in the curious way he does, like I’m doing something completely amusing that I’m also entirely unaware of. Then I picked up my things and scrambled for the door, almost sending someone’s drink flying over their laptop.
Large Americano, Extra Milk and Sugar by daigina (6.5k words) - It's almost Valentine's Day. Mikael has a new job. Even has a new crush and no courage. This makes for lots of pining Evens, frustrated Mikaels, and spilled coffee.
five times even watched from afar and one time he didn't have to by alotofphandoms (7k words) - Even sees Isak around so many times that he's sure it's destiny and he's determined to not let him get away. So he watches from afar before he doesn't have to anymore.
all I see is you by littlemovie (Lejla) (7.4k words) - “Aren’t you gonna ask me why I’m a bad person?” Isak somehow whined and demanded at the same time. Jonas blew out a breath in amusement, which made the dark curls on his forehead move with his breath. “I’m guessing it has something to do with that guy, Even, from the coffeeshop?” Isak nodded his head pathetically.
closer to free by Skamtrash (7.7k words) - Even works at a coffee shop that Isak always studies in and Even has been crushing on him from afar for way too long so Elias makes them happen
Make a spark, break the dark, find a light with me by LostInAdmiration (8k words) - Isak can't sleep, so spends his nights wandering around the street. Even works the night shift at the store around the corner, and they bond over their mutual insomnia.
Cuddle Monsters by sikily (8.2k words) - One spoke of true love and the other a critic, But Christmas would be the day to believe in magic, A wink of his eye and a tilt of his head, And Isak became a believer instead.

baby we've got new love by itjustkindahappened (9.5k words) - Isak is hella fucking gay and desperately single, and Eskild wants to change that. Even just has a thing about timing. Coffee shop AU with an ironic amount of tea enthusiasm and a whole lot of pining.
Second helping's always better by diamondjacket (10k words) - A sequel. Coming into this last-minute coffee date, Even had honestly thought that once the sheen of the previous day had worn off, things would be different. That he could see Isak and keep a level head, that he wouldn’t be overcome with the urge to just...taste him everywhere. No such luck.
possibly (maybe) i’m falling for you by boxesofflowers, Eeyoreneedsahug, safficwriter (10k words) - Even tries to get Isak to smile with coffee. Every time he buys Isak coffee, he becomes more determined to find the perfect drink (and falls in love along the way).
The One Where Even Goes On a Blind Date by valtersheim (10k words) - Eskild forgets to find someone for Isak for their double blind date and he approaches the first attractive man he sees in Kaffebrenneriet.
Ground Me by Bellakitse (13k words) - In which despite his father helping with rent, Isak still needs money and therefore a job. Isak gets a job at a cafe and meets a barista who's beauty blows Isak away.
A Thin Line Between Hate and… Other Stuff by TheFilthWithin (Flatfootmonster) (14k words) - Isak is studying while working at a coffee shop. His life is Ok... ish. Filled with lies, mocchiato's, and hook ups, fate storms in and lends a hand in the shape of Mr Spielberg, AKA film director Even.
something in the language of trees by scarletbluebird (20k words) - This woman, Isak thinks, must really love her son. He keeps spinning the coffee cup for a good minute, mulling it over. He still feels weird about it, but it’s not like he’s signing a contract in blood or anything. And he’s already going to see Even at the party later in the week, so it could work. the one where Isak's job really is to Be Even's Friend
You're a different kind of new by LostInAdmiration (23k words) - Even has had a hopeless crush on Isak for months now, but has never been brave enough to talk to him. Luckily, Isak decides to make the first move by rescuing Even from unwanted attention at a party
take me as i am by argentae (24k words) - He isn’t crushing, and nevertheless this guy has become a Problem, because whenever he’s on shift he’s made it increasingly difficult for Isak to really spend his time productively. Sure, he could just find another place to study but he likes the access to coffee here even though he actually kind of hates the bitterness of it and he’s just not going to let himself get swept aside because of this guy.
don't you keep it all to yourself by colazitron (24k words) - Isak starts buying daily coffees before school at Kaffebrenneriet around the corner because it tastes better than the coffee in the cafeteria and keeps his hands warm. But mostly because the barista is heart-stoppingly cute. An AU in which Even didn't need to repeat his last year and instead started working at the coffeeshop Isak passes on his way to school every morning.
is it gravity, or are we falling in love? by mels (28k words) - Isak works at a coffee shop. There's two things he loves about the morning shift: 1, how beautiful the city is when it's sleeping and 2, avoiding the hot guy who he happens to have a crush on. Until one faithful day, he has no choice but to work with his crush.
Caught in the Middle by dvorahbee (30k words) - Even keeps seeing the cutest boy around campus and in his new favourite coffee shop. He'll slowly get to know Isak but he'll have to go on a journey of self-acceptance and love at the same time.
A Fucking Bet by Crazyheart (32k words) - Isak and Even are just friends. They make a bet and decide to fuck only five times and then go back to being friends again. Isak hopes that he might be able to fuck his crush out of his system, once and for all. Who knows what Even’s motives are.
Just your average ordinary everyday Superhero by vorfm95 (34k words) - Isak works for the governament fixing the chaos caused by the Yeti a young superhero who protects the streets of Oslo. It's just a superhero soulmate Au. (oof this fic tho)
Golden Boy by alotofphandoms (43k words) - Isak thinks his life is great until Even Bech Naesheim waltz in and starts taking him out on dates. (Mostly fluff and flirting but I live for angst so there's a little bit of that to keep it interesting)
Scrim by scritch (45k words) - Isak works as a lighting technician in a theatre. He's under strict instructions not to talk to the actors. This is all fine, until he meets Even.
such a beautiful mess by skambition (48k words) - Isak works at Kaffebrenneriet to save up some money for a trip with his friends. Normally, working there is chill. Until Isak starts to work together with Even, an arrogant hipster with horrible taste in music, that keeps using the phrase 'sex hair' and is not only judgemental and stupid, but also so hot that Isak sometimes can't breathe around him. Isak hates him. Until he doesn't.
What If? by MermaidsandMermen (SophiaSoames) (57k words) - What if Skam never happened? What if Even is just an awkward boy working in a coffee shop? What if Isak is just the loneliest boy in the world? What if Even is slightly obsessed with Isak? And what if Isak is spending every afternoon in a freaking coffee shop? Because he can OK? It’s not because he feels like at least he isn’t alone when he is there. Not that he actually talks to Even. Not that he thinks Even is the prettiest boy he has ever seen. It’s not like that. It’s not.
Lover Of My Impossible Soul by shoulderbone (lavenderforluck) (66k words) - Part 2 of Pointing at the Moon SERIES. Possible spoilers if you haven't read the first part: We don't often reveal ourselves, when we don't actually know what there is to reveal yet. Or, alternatively: Isak returns to Oslo, and most importantly, to Even.
with love, from anonymous by cosetties, iriswests (136k words) - Isak just wants to get his coffee in peace, Even has a crush, and there's a secret admirer on the loose.
***** BONUS NOOREVA
untitled by princevaltersen (15k words) - Eva knew she had a crush on Noora and she couldn’t refuse it at all.

Irony is an Understatement
Chapter 1
It wasn't often All for One ran into people, not literally, and certainly not people taller than him. Partially because he generally had better spacial awareness than that, and partially because he was a rather tall man himself. Standing at a height over one hundred and eighty-two centimeters, he was by no means easy to push around. Not even when his extra abilities weren't taken into account. Yet there he sat on a wet sidewalk in Tokyo, feeling like he'd run face first into a brick wall.
He looked up to see who he'd walked into.
The sight that greeted All For One's eyes nearly sent his heart racing. Not out of fear or attraction, but anticipation. However, as he looked closer, he realized they weren't who he'd thought they were.
All the colors were off. The eyes blinking down at him were a light seafoam green, not pure electric blue. Thick and fluffy créme-colored hair sat where wild sunshine blond should be. Their skin was quite a few shades lighter than the tan in his mind's eye. Not a stitch of red, yellow or blue could be seen in their predominantly black and orange clothes.
Though... he'd be lying if he said there weren't any similarities.
All Might's harsh influence was moreso in his facial features and body build. They were smoothened by traits from a clearly Asian mother, but the longer All For One looked the more he could see his nemesis in the young man before him. He had a sharper chin from his mother, but the cheekbones had All Might written all over them. His eyebrows, though tapering to thinner points as they got closer to each temple, began thick and his nose wasn't quite as sharply pointed, but still very narrow. All on top of a trained athlete's body that, while not nearly as heavily musculed, certainly wasn't anything to scoff at.
Of course, he couldn't forget how tall he was either.
"Excuse me? Are you alright, Sir?"
It seems he'd gotten a bit distracted.... The young man was holding a hand out to him now, waiting patiently for him to take it.
"I'm fine. Just a bit jostled," All For One grinned as he took the other's hand.
The green-eyed man pulled him to his feet with a skeptical look on his face, "Are you sure? Your suit's soaked."
All For One's grin fell and he looked down at himself. His suit was indeed soaked, and that was just the front. He didn't even want to see his rear.
"So it is..."
"I'm awfully sorry about this," the taller man apologized, "Is there anything I could do for you? Pay for your dry cleaning? Get you some coffee to keep you warm until you can get home to change? Both?"
He'd have to be an absolute fool to not take advantage of this situation. Even more so if this person truly did have a connection to that blond pest of a successor. There was no way there wasn't either, not with how similar the two were. It was a leap, but small one he was willing to take. After all, the gain was far greater than the loss if his theory turned out to be true.
Not only that, but it was dreadfully chilly after the earlier rain and if he was offering then who was All For One to turn him down?
All For One hummed. "I'd appreciate it if you would."
"What? Pay for the dry cleaning? Get you a coffee?" The green-eyed man asked, "or did you mean both?"
"Both if you can." All For One replied, thumbing a wet spot on his suit coat before looking up at him.
The young man smiled and nodded resolutely. "I can do both."
____________
"Thank you," All For One said as he took his offered cup.
He held it close to his chest. Having taken off his coat to tie it around his waist, he was feeling a bit chilled after the walk to their chosen café. The first sip was heavenly as it warmed him from inside.
"You're welcome." The blond sipped at his own drink. "Again, I'm sorry about your suit. Normally I'm a bit more self aware, but today I got a bit preoccupied with the sights."
All For One waved a hand, nonchalantly dismissing his concerns before tilting his head. "Are you new here?"
One wet suit was a small price to pay for what he was hoping for. Just a thought of the look on All Might's face upon the future reveal was enough. In the meantime, he'd focus on gathering as much information as he could.
The other man shook his head. "Not quite. I was born and raised here in Tokyo, but have been elsewhere for schooling until recently. I came back about a month and a half ago and have been busy moving in since then. Today's my first day out and about."
"Really?" All For One looked up from his coffee. "Where did you go for your education and what for?"
The polite smile he got in return wasn't quite a smile at all. It was more of a secretive smirk, half hidden behind the blond's coffee cup. Interesting.
"Various places for various things," the taller man answered, "The United States for Forensic Science and Criminal Justice, Germany for Chemistry and Physics, and the United Kingdom for Advanced Communications among others."
All For One whistled. "My, that's quite a list. Are you planning on working in law?"
That'd be even better for his plans, honestly. If he gained this man's trust, he'd have a new informant! An unwitting one, but sometimes those ones were the most useful. He'd be sticking it to All Might while also having an ear within the police. Two birds with one stone!
"Somewhat." And there's that cheeky smirk again.
The blond took another sip from his coffee and asked, "What about you? What do you do for a living?"
"I work in a media firm," All For One hummed, first looking down at his coffee then back to the green-eyed man, "One that primarily deals with touchy, controversial topics. My focus is mostly in the editorial process, before the articles are sent out."
Of course, he neglected to mention the fact he owned the aforementioned media firm.
"That sounds interesting. You must be very busy," the young man suddenly frowned, his face pinched. "I'm not keeping you from anything important, am I?"
Yes, he technically was. There was a business meeting he was supposed to attend to today. However, All For One merely waved off his concern once more, "Certainly not! Besides, even if you were, I can't very well go into work in drenched clothes, can I?"
"No, I suppose not," he chuckled then asked, "Do you mind me asking what media firm you work for?"
"Not at all. It's the Heroes Exposé."
The blond whistled, "When you said controversial, you weren't joking. The Heroes Exposé writes some of the most critical and scathing articles I've ever read."
All For One quirked an eyebrow, a smile curling on his lips. "You read it?"
Well, well, wasn't that a pleasant surprise.
The other man nodded, "I do. It's hard to find media that isn't just straight up praising heroes for unnecessary violence and property damage or outright drama such as which heroes are sleeping together and who's no longer a couple. The Heroes Exposé is down to earth and dedicated to getting to the important truths of today's society. I admire their work ethic."
Goodness... They were going to get along like a house on fire. All For One could feel it.
All For One laughed, "That's good to hear. It's nice to know we're coming across exactly how we hope to!"
They continued talking for a while longer. At some point, they moved from standing outside the cafe, preparing to go their separate ways, to sitting at a table inside. Eventually they realized both their drinks were long gone and the day was slowly inching toward early evening. The autumn sun was beginning it's descent across the sky and casting everything in amber light. Larger groups of people flooded the sidewalks, most likely walking home or to the nearest train station.
"Well, we sure lost track of time...," the blond noted, "It really flew by."
"Right." All For One agreed.
The taller man went to throw his cup in a bin, only to stop halfway and turn back. A rather embarassed flush of red painted his face. Again, he apologized, "I'm sorry. We've been talking this whole time and not once did I think to give you my name."
Just as he had earlier in the day, he extended his hand to All For One, "I'm Kishimura Akira. It's nice to meet you, ...?"
"Shigaraki," All For One filled in, shaking his hand, "Shigaraki Ichidai. It's nice to meet you too."
"Despite me accidentally knocking you into a puddle?"
"I'll consider us even with the coffee and dry cleaning."
"Fair enough. And before I forget...," Kishimura reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a memo pad and pen. "Speaking of the dry cleaning, I'm gonna give you this."
He scribbled something down on a small sheet of paper and ripped it out. He then handed it over. "Here. My phone number. Have whoever you go to give me a call and I'll stop in"
All For One almost couldn't contain his glee. He just barely managed to keep it contained within a polite smile as he took the little note and stuffed it carefully in a pocket. Everything was going according to plan.
"Will do. Thank you."
With that, they wished each other a good day and turned to walk separate ways. However, All For One didn't get far before he heard Kishimura call out to him. He turned back and the blond bashfully rubbed the back of his neck.
"Ah, ...would you like to get coffee again sometime?"
This time All For One didn't bother keeping the glee off his face. "I'd love to!"
____________
Later that evening, All For One reflected on his day.
After having Kurogiri pick him up and changing clothes, he called in a favor. He wanted information. However, there were other more pressing things he needed to focus on. Namely another meeting that, unlike the other one, he couldn't miss. The business partners attending this one wouldn't be nearly as forgiving if he did.
While he didn't particularily care whether they were angry with him or not, he had a reputation to uphold and skipping things generally wasn't conducive in maintaining said reputation.
Giran picked up on the first ring. "Hello. What can I do for you today?"
"I need you to find all the information you can on a man named Kishimura Akira."
"New target? You want everything everything or just the usual?"
"Everything."
"Alright. I'll get right on it," Giran stated, "Expect it within the next two weeks."
"Excellent."
"Same routine?"
"Fifty percent upfront and the rest upon completion, yes."
"Wonderful. It's a pleasure doing business with you as always, Sir. Have a good evening."
Oh, he certainly will.
"You as well. Good-bye." All For One responded.
He ended the call and put his phone away. He had a meeting to get ready for. If anyone asked about his cheerful demeanor, well, it must be the coffee.

A mini Prague guide
I know this isn’t studyblr related, but here’s my mini Prague guide for @reviseandreview (and anyone who is interested :) I could write for hours and hours, but these are my absolute favourites.
Getting around:
Prague’s exchange offices are really bad, the most credible one is this one (Praha Exchange)
there’s a really good public transport system, you can take the metro, buses or trams, a lot of the places are in walking distance (I would recommend you walk, it’s really beautiful getting lost and discovering new places).
This or this app is really good, they show you the timetable + map (stops, where you are going etc.)
Tickets: you can buy them at the main station or in newsstands (not all though, they will have a sign or sticker). The tickets are for 30min, 90min, 24h or 72h, the price varies accordingly. I think the 24h one is the best.
You can also get around on special pink bikes called Rekola, although I was always scared of the trafic, so I never used them. (You will need an app for that).
What to see:
there’s a lot of touristy things you can do, see the Wenceslas square, see the Charles’ bridge (which is super crowded all the time), Prague Astronomical Clock, Prague Castle - just pick what you like the most, everything is really beautiful and depends on what you want to see. Just know that Prague is always very crowded...
Faculty of Arts of the Charles’ University - you can walk here from the Old town square and in front of you will be a great view of the Malá strana and Prague castle. I loved this view during my studies there.
Náplavka - this is the bank of the river Vltava. If you are going to be in Prague over the weekend, there’s a great farmer’s market, they sell locally grown fruits and veggies, but also coffee, soups, sweets, soaps, wooden dishes etc. You need to get a fried bread with pesto, it’s the best! And you will need cash for this.
Vítkov - this is a hill in the district Žižkov and if you walk through the park all the way up to the monument, you will have (almost) the entire Prague in front of you. It’s very close to the main station and there’s a cycle track that leads there, so you can walk there.
Malá strana - this is a very beautiful (and my favourite) district on the side of the river where there’s the Prague castle. Cross the river by walking on the Most legií and go right - you will find little streets, colourful houses and a lot of cafés, greenery and little shops.
Valdštejnská zahrada - in the middle of Malá strana, there’s a beautiful hidden garden, with peacocks, flowers and benches. One of my favourites.
Vojanovy sady - right next to it is another garden, a little oasis of peace.
Coffee/snacks/breakfast/quick lunch
don’t get the trdelník from the stands you will see everywhere. it’s overpriced and not really worth it
my fav cafés: Kampus Hybernská (very cute, a lot of plants, you will need cash), Urban Café (really good chai latté + a lot of plants), Prádelna café (you can sit outside, look around + they have really good soups), Super Tramp Coffee (really good coffee + place), Café Neustadt, Café tout va bien (I’ve never been but it should be great), Kavárna Slavia (maybe a little pricey, but you should stop for tea because it’s beautiful + all the writers and politicians used to meet there in 20th century) and a lot more, just walk around :)
the best ice cream EVER (I swear!): Créme de la Créme, Zmrzlinář, Angelato - you can’t go wrong with these ones
snacks: Antonínovo pekařství (just GO there, they have the best bread with their homemade spread, Czech buchta filled with curd or plum butter (doesn’t sound good but it’s super delicious) or Czech koláček. Also a good breakfast spot.
breakfast/brunch: Spižírna 1902, Coffee Room (they have the best banana bread and avo on toast), CafeFin, Eska, Café Jen (they have the best Míša řezy)
lunch: Burrito Loco (a nice mexican fast food, I love their quesadillas), Dhaba Beas (Indian and vegan food), Wokin (noodles, you can create your own meal), Moment (vegan) and a great option (Wed-Sat) is farmer’s market at the Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad - they have vegan options too.
Museums:
definitely check the website of the National Gallery before you come - they have a lot of locations and lot of great exhibitions!
Gallery of Prague on the Old town square, there’s a Warhol, Dalí and Mucha exhibition.
Leica gallery (check website beforehand) - this is a tiny photography gallery, really good.
Shops:
Shakespeare and Sons - a really nice bookstore with English books (also second-hand books).
Koh-i-noor - Czech stationery brand, they have a lot of coloured pencils and just a lot of beautiful stationery in general.
Papelote - my fav stationery shop ever! Everything is from recycled paper and handmade - they sell notebooks, stickers, journals, diaries, photo albums. You should definitely check this out!
BezObalu - literally translates to WithoutPackaging, a zero waste shop. They have the traditional stuff (chickpeas, rice, flour etc.) but also zero waste bathroom products like soaps and bamboo toothbrushes etc.
Analogue - a film photography shop - they sell old cameras, film, instax cameras and have a cute dog Arina as a part of staff.
Vnitroblock - a café + design shop, a cool place to hang out.
If you have time to spare:
Kino Aero or Kino Světozor - little cinemas with good films, English with Czech subtitles.
YogaMovement - my favourite and the most beautiful yoga studio. Most classes are in english, you can have tea there and just chill + you just have to bring your clothes, yoga mat, shower gel and towels are provided.
Again, I could go on and on, there’s so much to see, drink and eat, but these are my absolute favourites, my must-gos. If something crosses my mind, I will update this list.

Café owners box clever
The sibling owners of a Bearsden café have been overwhelmed by the success of an innovative scone delivery business enterprise.
Tumblr media
The idea for Sconebox was sparked after the Boyle sisters Jennifer, Geraldine and Michelle, of Café Créme in Bearsden noticed that some of their older customers were unable to visit the shop due to poor health.
Earlier this summer, the trio launched the service to deliver scone tea party boxes. They had anticipated it having local demand but they have been surprised by the many requests from further afield and from younger people.
Geraldine said: “Within months, Sconebox has caught on and the café is sending boxes as far away as America, Germany and Ireland. We also did a pop-up event at Princes Square in Glasgow and people were buying four or five boxes at a time, which was lovely.
“We are really taken aback by how popular it has become so quickly and among all ages of customers.”
SconeBox includes a range of different flavoured scones, jams and tea or coffee for four people, as well as a baking utensil, recipes, napkins, entertainment tips and a surprise sweet treat.
The price for one box is £15.95 per month, although customers can also take a longer subscription and receive personalised gift options.
Geraldine said: “The feedback has been great and customers have been suggesting other things they would love to be included in the boxes. We plan to develop the service and offer different Sconebox products and not just subscription items."
See www.sconebox.com or Café Crème Glasgow on Facebook.
