Lilith Chillin' Areas - Part 2 (Coffee Corner) - Availible for Everyone!
Hi friends! I hope you're all well.
The second set of the Chillin' Areas theme is the "Coffee Corner". Don't you want your sims to have a cozy corner to make tea or coffee for themselves. Maybe you don't want to. But I did it anyway.
Actually, the purpose of the Chillin' Areas theme was that they were mini-sets. So what I was aiming for is to release several sets related to this theme per month. But nothing I planned is working out the way I wanted. This is a problem that I need to solve, and I want to achieve this goal next month. I will also start the baby-related set after the infant update and the new expansion pack are released. At least I'll publish it in full.
If we return to the set, there are currently 31 items on the set. (Twelve of these are decorative versions of Maxis' bakeries.) The rest consists of furniture compatible with the design of the Lilith set and clutters in general. When the set is completed, a coffee, tea and espresso machine inspired by SMEG will be added, as well as extra decorative objects.
If during this time you also come up with something related to this theme, I would like to hear it.
The items included in the set are as follows;
Decorative Bakeries - You can display them at the bakery cabinets.
Coffee Bar - You can put the original tea and coffee machines from Maxis and a lot of decorative items in this bar.
Bakery Cabinet - Left and Right
Decorative Mug
Coffee Cups with Rack
Coffee Decors 1 - Milk Pot and Spoon, Whipped Cream Dispenser and Napkins, Coffee Bag, Sugar Dispenser
Coffee Decors 2 - Coffee Grinder, French Press, Coffee Pot
Coffee Filter Papers
Coffee Filter Papers with Plant
Coffee Syrup - 15 different flavors
Decorative Jars
Decorative Trays
Wall Cabinet
Wall Railing - Left, Middle and Right
Decors for Wall Railing - 3 different styles
You can find everything included in the set by typing "Lilith2".
Thank you very much in advance for your understanding.
I hope you will like it. ❤️

UPDATE (03.12.2022) SMEG Coffee Machine, Espresso Machine and Coffee Grinder have been added. Unfortunately, I couldn't make a tea maker because I couldn't clone the tea maker in the base game. There is a small problem in the animation of the coffee machine that I can't fix. I will update if I find a solution. Get Together EP required for the espresso machine and grinder to be functional. All of them have 20 swatches.

WTH House. As we pull up to this ordinary looking farmhouse style home, we see a huge carved American Eagle, and conversely, a faded flag is nearly down on the ground. The house was built in 1935 in Grand Junction, Colorado. It's been remodeled and a sale is pending for the 4bd, 4ba home listed for $665K.
Big living/dining room combo with a large expanse of blue carpet. Nice bookshelf, though.
I've never seen a chandelier like this. It appears to be an eagle, swords, and candles. Civil War themed?
So, this is the kitchen. They took the stove and something else that was in the wall. What interesting cabinets.
The powder room. Weird, unless they took the mirror.
This bedroom has 2 area rugs that don't exactly match, and a dated built-in closet.
Modern shower room.
Down the pink stairs to the basement is a kitchen/rec room combo with wall-to-wall leopard carpet.
It's a large space.
1960s bath in the basement. The harvest gold toilet and tub are kind of cool.
And, it has this awesome gigantic rock cooktop. Who cares if they took the kitchen stove? They left this.
It looks like it also has a fireplace. I hope the new owners keep it. I mean, what a conversation piece.
The primary bedroom is pretty big and has a small terrace.
This bedroom also has sliders to the terrace.
The 4th bedroom is the smallest, but it's still a good size.
The dated bath looks like it was updated in the 60s and is a very weird configuration.
It has a large finished attic, too.
Cute 2 car garage with barn doors.
This is sad. They just moved out and left it. The home is on a 1.01 acre lot and for $665K it looks like it needs a lot of work.

Guatpol Update
I've been scrolling the news these past few hours or so unable to sleep and since I said I'd post more about my own country's politics I thought to share what I have gleaned about the current top stories.
OLYMPICS!
You may not know but Guatemala actually had its first ever Olympic gold medallist (Adriana Ruano, women's trap shooting) and its first ever Olympic bronze medallist (Jean Pierre Brol, men's trap shooting). Alongside Erick Barrondo's Olympic silver medal in men's 20km racewalk from London 2012, this makes a complete set.
This is a big political story for a couple reasons, first off Ruano and Brol are getting a cash payout from the Guatemalan Olympic Committee, 3 million quetzales for the former and 1 million 250 thousand quetzales for the latter. (One Guatemalan quetzal is worth about 1/8 of a US dollar, for reference.) Second off, our recently elected president Bernardo Arevalo used last Saturday's celebration of the athletes to announce plans to spend more on sporting facilities. Very much an easy to sell proposition given the results on display.
But perhaps most importantly this is very much a political win for Arevalo personally. Due to the events surrounding our last election his government has been fighting an uphill battle to do much of anything. But something Arevalo has been able to do very effectively on his own is diplomacy and it is his diplomacy that averted Guatemala being excluded from the Olympics due to conflicts with the International Olympics Committee.
This crowd-pleaser victory may just be what he needs to keep support for his party, Movimiento Semilla, strong in spite of attacks from all other established parties. Speaking of...
LEGAL FOUL PLAY!
The current director of FECI, the legal prosecution office against corruption established after the independent UN observer body CICIG was dismantled, recently brought charges against and tried to remove legal immunity from Arevalo for allegedly wrongly dismissing a cabinet member. The cabinet member in question ignored orders to go through with a telecommunications contract that was allegedly corrupt. However, pretty much everyone agrees this is a politically motivated move, in line with a pattern of legal challenges brought since last year's elections whose actual purpose is to prevent Arevalo from governing. We will see where this goes but so far this move is being widely condemned.
COURT APPOINTMENT DELAYS!
In other legal news, the Guatemalan Supreme Court of Justice (whose members serve for 5 year terms) is yet to be appointed! We have been at this since 2019. Hurry the fuck up, goddammit. This is what a highly corrupt state and partisan fractioning gets us. At least if no more delays pop up we will maybe get this over with by September. Maybe.
BUDGET EXPANSION!
Credit where credit's due, even with a minority in congress and having to work with their direct political enemies Arevalo was able to finally approve the 14 thousand 451 million GTQ budget expansion he has been trying to get for most of the year. However, like Arevalo and Semilla's every other move, this isn't without legal challenges. At least the US ambassador seems to have expressed approval so maybe he can twist the opposition's arm into letting this one go.
TAX EVASION!
IMO the biggest story of right now is the discovery and investigation into a tax fraud and money laundering scheme to the tune of 300 million GTQ related to contracts awarded by the government of our last president, Alejandro Giammattei. This is perhaps a golden opportunity that just fell in Arevalo's lap as pursuing this scandal, a tax scandal 10 times the size of the famous 2015 La Linea scandal which gave birth to Moviniento Semilla, is perfect for the party to show its commitment to its founding principles. Here's hoping success prosecuting it strikes fear in the Guatemalan establishment and can serve as a stepping stone to reform.

Ch. 2 - Wolfsbane Wolfsbane, though associated with lycanthropy, often represents caution or death, fearsome strength or doom. AN: TW: Harassment of a female attendant. (Typical Naoya behavior.)
The moment stretched in the silence of Naoya's room as he finished dressing, sitting on the edge of his bed briefly to slide his tabi socks on. Your eyes roamed his large space, taking in the decor of his room. His bed was a large four-poster that appeared to be made of some kind of red mahogany with gold accents. It contrasted heavily against the usual simplicity of the Japanese architecture. The beige comforter set was completely crumpled from his tossing and turning, a sign of restless sleep following a night of alcohol and drugs. Besides the built-in cabinets, the other pieces of furniture in the room matched the bed. In particular there was a matching dresser, ornate illustrations painted in gold along its wood, and a television that sat atop it. Naoya smirked to himself as he watched you glance around the room.
With a self-satisfied chuckle, he stood up abruptly which caught your attention. He grinned and gestured around the mostly unimpressive room, his tone laden with both amusement and a touch of arrogance. "Welcome to my humble abode, Kamo. It serves as both a pleasure den and a place of business." His eyes glinted mischievously as he spoke, his smirk deepening. You could only imagine the debauchery that he invited into that very room on a nightly basis.
Your gaze flickered around the room once more before settling onto his piercing gaze, those bright amber eyes presenting you with a challenge, the implications of Naoya's words not lost on you. "Quite the versatile space," you remarked, your voice carrying a subtle edge of amusement. "I'm assuming this is where I'll be staying with you once we're married?"
Naoya's laughter cut through the air, sharp and mocking. "Don't flatter yourself, Kamo. I wouldn't share a bedroom with my dead brother's used pussy." He smirked as if he'd just delivered the wittiest line, brushing past you with a deliberate nonchalance.
Your gaze remained steady, refusing to let his words faze you. "Oh, how considerate of you. I'm sure your brother appreciates your high regard for his wife," you retorted, a sly grin playing on your lips. "But I have to admit, I'm curious about how pristine your own standards are, considering the abundance of company you must keep."
Naoya's arrogant laugh filled the room as he turned to face you, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of amusement and disdain. "You've got quite the mouth on you, Kamo. I like that. Keeps things interesting."
His laughter followed him as he led the way out of his room, clearly suddenly enjoying the opportunity to showcase 'his domain.' You followed him as he walked down the wooden planks, the sound of the cold, winter breeze filling the evening air while you passed several shoji doors. On the way to wherever it was he was dragging you, you were able to catch a glimpse of the well-maintained garden where you'd be able to maintain your plants. It appeared mostly dormant but still beautiful in that time of year even in the dawning moonlight.
The aroma of polished wood and incense lingered in the air, even as you entered a new room that lied behind a set of ornate fusuma doors. Naoya let you go first into the expansive kitchen and dining area. The large, modern kitchen seemed incongruous with the traditional aesthetics of the estate, a testament to the Zenin clan's wealth and influence.
As you entered the kitchen, Naoya's contemptuous gaze swept over the room, lingering on the various cooking implements and appliances as if they were beneath him. "Kitchen, obviously," he gave an exasperated sigh as he paced toward the island counter, dragging his finger along the steel countertop. It was clear by his tone that he saw such tasks as beneath him. "Recently updated with the most high-end appliances and materials."
You rolled your eyes as he gloated the wealth of his clan as if your own family didn't have an equal amount of wealth.
His eyes scanned the state-of-the-art appliances, stainless steel countertops, and the sleek modern design. "Everything here is top-notch. We wouldn't want anything else," he boasted, a smug satisfaction evident in his voice. As you observed the kitchen, Naoya's gaze shifted back to you, his smirk widening. "Of course a woman's touch would only sully the perfection of this place. But you're too pretty to be bothered with such mundane tasks, aren't you, Kamo?" He remarked, the misogynistic undertones unmistakable. "Your job is simple -- shut up, be pretty, and let the capable hands handle the real work."
You raised an eyebrow at his audacity, refusing to let his words go unchallenged. "Is that so?" You replied, your tone laced with sarcasm. "Well, I suppose I must thank you then, Zenin-sama, for acknowledging my aesthetic appeal."
Naoya's smirk widened, clearly amused by your retort. "Oh, don't thank me yet," he replied with a chuckle.
Rolling your eyes, you continued to follow him through the large dining room, your gaze sweeping over the elegant furnishings with a hint of appreciation. "Impressive," you commented, nodding towards the low table set for what seemed like a formal dinner. The walls adorned with traditional Japanese art, ornately painted dark blue. "I suppose this is where you wine and dine your guests, flaunting your wealth and power." You held a certain mocking tone in your voice; you had little care for this tour and primarily wanted to get it over with, limiting your time with him as much as possible.
Naoya chuckled, a smug grin playing on his lips. "You catch on quickly," he replied, his tone condescending. "But let's not forget your place in all of this. You're here to add a touch of elegance to my arm and little else. Don't expect to be much of a...participant in such matters."
You resisted the urge to roll your eyes again at his arrogance, choosing instead to play along with his game. "Ah, I see," you replied with a playful smirk. "At least you do think I'm pretty, then."
Naoya's laughter filled the room, echoing off the walls with a hint of mockery. "Pretty enough, I suppose," he replied, his gaze lingering on you for a moment longer than necessary.
Naoya continued the tour, leading you down a corridor towards a section of the estate where the attendants' quarters were located. Something about Naoya's presence seemed to intensify as you neared, it was almost as if you could feel his power trip coming on.
Distant sounds of laughter and chatter among the staff became more audible as Naoya stopped in front of the sliding doors. He slid them open to reveal a common area where several female attendants were busy with their duties. The room fell silent as Naoya strolled in with a confident yet predatory glint in his eyes as he looked over each of them. The staff members immediately straightened, their eyes holding a glint of fear and submission as the lightly bowed to the heir apparent of the Zenin clan.
Naoya's tone became more commanding as he addressed them, his words laced with a cruel twist. "Listen up, ladies. We have a new addition to our esteemed family who will be living here," he announced, gesturing toward you with a dismissive wave. "This is Kamo Y/N, my soon-to-be-wife. You remember her? That's right, my brother's pathetic widow. I trust you'll all show her the proper respect and make her feel welcome. After all, she'll be joining us permanently."
The attendants exchanged nervous glances and you couldn't help but feel the sense of discomfort seeping into your bones. Naoya's demeanor shifted, his eyes narrowing as he focused on one of the younger attendants who appeared to be trembling.
"Ah yes..." He approached her and placed a finger under her chin, lifting it high as if examining her for imperfections. "Kamo, meet the lovely Sachiko," he turned to face you with a malicious smirk. "She's been with the Zenin family for quite some time. Haven't you, Sachiko?"
Sachiko nodded timidly, avoiding eye contact as Naoya removed his finger from under her chin. His smirk widened as he circled her like a vulture circling its prey. "Sachiko here is an expert at maintaining discretion. She knows what happens to those who fail in their duties," he declared, his tone sending shivers down the spines of everyone present.
You felt a knot tighten in your stomach, a clear understanding of the threat he was making. Naoya was making a show of his dominance, using the vulnerable position of the female staff to assert his authority and make it clear what fate awaited those who displeased him.
Ignoring the discomfort, Naoya turned to you with a faux smile. "You see, Kamo, it's important for everyone to understand their place in this household. A lesson I'm sure you'll grasp...quickly."
Naoya's cruel spectacle continued, the air thick with tension as the attendants cast furtive glances at each other, clearly unsettled by the abrupt change in atmosphere. His voice pierced the silence, loud and commanding. "All of you, back to work!" He shouted, his tone leaving no room for disobedience as he glared at all of the women in the room.
The attendants scurried to resume their duties, some of them hurriedly leaving the room to escape the oppressive presence that lingered. Sachiko, visibly shaken, made a swift attempt to leave the room as well. However, Naoya's aggression was swift and unexpected. He grabbed her by the arm with a force that made her gasp, yanking her back into the room. You clenched your jaw, knowing better to keep your mouth shut despite how angry it made you to see how he treated the staff.
"Whoa...hey, hey," Naoya purred maliciously as he stopped the girl from leaving. He tugged her back to her original position, her gaze avoiding his entirely as her face turned bright red.
His eyes, glinting with malice, stared her down as he aggressively ripped down her yukata, exposing her body to the room. A collective gasp escaped from the other attendants who had remained in the room, their eyes widening in shock. Naoya reveled in the discomfort he caused, his venomous smile widening as he turned Sachiko around, showcasing the deep purple and blue bruises that marred her delicate bottom.
"This, my pretty little fiancée," he sneered, his voice dripping with disdain as a crooked smile painted his face, "is what happens to girls who misbehave in my household. I personally oversee all punishments. A lesson in discipline, I'm sure you'll find quite...enlightening."
Your face remained stoic, refusing to betray the disgust and anger that churned within you. You locked eyes with Naoya, a defiant gleam in your gaze. "How noble of you, Zenin, to ensure such diligent oversight. I'm truly impressed by your commitment to...maintaining order," you remarked, your voice steady with sarcasm despite the turmoil you felt.
Naoya chuckled darkly, "you'd do well to take note, Kamo. I won't tolerate any disobedience or disrespect from you. This is the price of defiance in my domain."
Sachiko, humiliated and trembling, was dismissed with a dismissive wave from Naoya. As she scurried away with the remnants of her torn yukata, the attendants continuing their tasks, the air thick with a sense of fear and submission.
He turned to you with that same predatory grin. "Now, my lovely bride, I hope you understand the consequences of stepping out of line. It's a lesson that you'd be wise not to forget."
You met his gaze with a cool composure, determined not to let his grotesque display of power rattle you. "I appreciate the demonstration, Zenin. I assure you, I'm well-acquainted with the consequences of defiance. It seems your methods are quite...thorough."
Naoya's dark laughter echoed through the room as he stepped in front of you, his eyes never leaving yours. "Indeed," he purred, his tone suddenly dripping with seduction.
He began to toy with the collar of your kimono, his fingers dancing dangerously close to the delicate skin of your collarbone, teasing and tantalizing. "You're a quick learner, it seems," he continued, his smirk widening into something more sinister -- as if that were possible. "I'm sure you wouldn't want that flawless skin of yours to bear the marks of punishment. It would be a shame to see such delicate beauty tarnished, don't you think?"
His words were laced with a twisted sense of desire, a dark fascination with the power he held over you. Naoya leaned in, his breath brushing against your ear, sending a shiver down your spine. "But then again, perhaps the idea excites you, Kamo. The thrill of submission, the anticipation of pain. It's a potent cocktail, and I do enjoy seeing just how far women are willing to go to please me. And you seem like quite the defiant slut...just begging for punishment."
As he spoke, his fingers traced a teasing path along the exposed skin of your collarbone, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. Naoya's lips twitched as he reveled in the discomfort he could sense within you. His gaze was fixated on your face as he relished every nuance of your reaction that you tried so desperately to subdue.
His devious smirk persisted, a clear contradiction to his earlier words. "Consider this a warning, Kamo. I demand absolute obedience. It would be a shame to see that pretty face of yours marred by disobedience."
Naoya pulled away from you, leaving your composure strained but unbroken. You held a furious glare in his direction as he turned his head and used a finger over his shoulder to signal you to come along. "Follow," he sighed without looking back in your direction, expecting you to obey.
As Naoya continued the tour through the expansive Zenin estate, his arrogance seemed to amplify in every step. He showed you various rooms, each adorned with traditional Japanese aesthetics and opulent furnishings. It was interesting to see the Zenin estate, the building itself lasting since the Heian era but filled with obvious modern updates. Your family favored tradition so much that your own estate was left virtually untouched from the same era. His commentary on each room remained laced with condescension, highlighting the stark contrast between his grandeur and your supposedly secondary role.
Finally, he led you towards the beautifully landscaped gardens, where the delicate remnants of perennial greenery lied dormant under the soft dusting of snow. The garden was meticulously arranged, and you easily took note of the species waiting to pop with color in just a few weeks. The garden itself encircled a large pond, still brimming with active koi. He led you through the winding paths, the sound of gravel crunching beneath your feet as he maintained his air of authority.
Naoya glanced around the garden, hands on his hips and a disdainful look on his face as if he found the beauty before him to be utterly mundane, especially when it lied dead and waiting for spring. He had stopped you in front of the pond where you crouched down to admire some of the koi that swam close to where you stood. You lightly dipped your fingers in, the water nearly freezing as the smallest koi suckled at your fingers thinking it was food.
Naoya crossed his arms tightly against his chest and watched you as if you were some kind of pathetic creature crawling around the dirt. "I hope your little companions don't find themselves causing any...accidents...here," he remarked, his tone implying that any mishaps would undoubtedly be your fault.
You couldn't help but respond, a hint of amusement in your voice as you came back to a stand to look him directly in the eyes. "Oh, don't worry, Zenin. I've become quite the skilled snake tamer in recent years. Accidents are the last thing you should be concerned about."
Naoya raised an eyebrow, his gaze shifting to you. "Snake tamer? Is that what you call it?" He scoffed, the mockery evident in his voice. "Tell me, Kamo, do you really let those snakes of yours bite you in combat? Seems like a rather foolish risk to take."
A wry smile played on your lips as you answered. "Of course. Though I do try to avoid it and have some venom prepared beforehand, I'd hate for one of them to get hurt during any exorcisms. I actually don't usually bring them."
Naoya's expression shifted to one of disgust. "Yet another reason you'll be sleeping in your own room once we're...married," he stated matter-of-factly, his voice becoming colder at the mention of your pending nuptials. "I won't have your vile technique endangering my well-being."
Your response was calm, refusing to let his harsh words affect you as you kept a mocking smirk. "No need to worry. I wouldn't want to inconvenience you with my 'unsightly' habits."
As Naoya continued the tour of the Zenin estate, you couldn't help but let your mind wander, concealing your true intentions beneath a facade of compliance. After his earlier actions at the attendants' quarters, you really had it out for him -- your mission aside. His voice droned on, detailing the intricacies of each room, but your thoughts were consumed by a more sinister plan. How would I put him out of his misery? You thought. The delicate dance of death played out in your mind as you considered the most effective method. Poison or venom? It was a decision that required careful consideration. Poison, slow and insidious, creeping through the veins until it claimed its victim, or venom, swift and lethal, delivering death with a single strike.
As you feigned interest in Naoya's words, memories of your deceased husband and Naoya's elder brother, Naohiro, flooded your mind. A pang of pain struck your heart, a constant reminder of the love that once thrived between you two. Duty to your clan forced you to take his life, or so your clan at least thought, the truth you kept concealed for your own sake. Seven long years you were married to Naohiro, seven loving years. And there you were, merely four days after Naohiro's death and already engaged to his brother.
Naoya's voice pierced through the haze of your thoughts, pulling you back to the present with a jolt. You blinked, refocusing your attention on him, but the icy chill in his gaze told you that he had noticed your distraction. His cruel smile sent a shiver down your spine as he spoke, his words laced with malice. "Are you even listening to me, Kamo? Or have you already grown tired of my company?"
You swallowed hard, masking your inner turmoil with a forced smile. Inside, you were kicking yourself for showing any sort of weakness in front of a man like him, your mind lingering on the last thoughts of Naohiro. "My apologies. I was simply admiring the ornate tapestry there," you replied, motioning toward the tapestry hung on the wall in the gathering room Naoya was busy showing you. The tapestry in question was that of a mountainous landscape, a red maple tree in the foreground.
Naoya's laughter echoed in the room as you both stood around a large conference table. "Admiring the tapestry? How quaint," he remarked, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Well, I suggest you focus on the task at hand. You wouldn't want to disappoint your future husband, now would you? Or do I need to remind you of Sachiko's lovely. Bruised. Ass?" He chuckled lowly. "I wonder what color you'll bruise. Purple? Blue? Or maybe even a lovely shade of green?"
You gritted your teeth, the urge to lash out at him almost overwhelming. But you held your tongue, biding your time. For now, you'd play the role of obedient wife, long enough for Naohiro's death to subside before you could make your strike. His eyes narrowed as he noticed the scowl on your face, a reaction he found both irritating and intriguing. In a swift motion, he grabbed your arm, pulling you close with a fire in his eyes. His grip was firm, fingertips leaving bruises that you could feel begin to form on your upper arms.
He brought his face close to yours as he hissed his threat, low and dangerous. "I know what you did to my brother, you cunt. Don't think you can play your games with me. I won't be the next victim in your little charade," he stared you down, eyes never leaving yours while in such close proximity. "My father may be a drunken fool who easily makes alliances with traitors, but I'm not."
You struggled against his grasp, maintaining a facade of innocence. "Your brother? I have no idea what you're talking about," you insisted, your voice straining as you feigned confusion. "His death's as lost on me as it is on you. And quite devastating, mind you..."
Naoya's grip tightened, his face inches from yours as he glared into your eyes. "Don't play dumb with me," he snarled. "I know you killed Naohiro. But I won't fall prey to your schemes like my idiotic brother. You won't get away with it again."
You continued to play innocent, faux desperation seeping into your voice. "I swear, Zenin, I have no knowledge of your brother's death. You're mistaken."
He leaned in, his cold breath grazing your ear as he hissed, "mistaken or not, I won't allow you to pull the same tricks on me. Be a good little wife and behave, Kamo."
The tension between you was palpable, a silent battle of wills. You promised to yourself that you would endure this arrangement, no matter the cost, until the moment presented itself to strike. Naoya, on the other hand, was determined not to fall victim to the same fate as his brother.
A cruel smirk twisted Naoya's lips as he released his grip on you, stepping back with a look of disdain. "Let's make a wager, shall we?" He sneered. "We'll see who outlasts the other in this arrangement. I assure you, Kamo. I have far more resilience than you might think."
You straightened your posture, meeting his challenging gaze with a steely resolve. "You're on, Zenin. We'll see who prevails in this little game of ours."
After Naoya's...informational tour, the two of you headed back to the main building where Daisuke and Naobito had finished discussing the terms of your engagement and the upcoming ceremony.
Naobito's eyes, cold and calculating, observed the two of you as you entered. He noticed Naoya's pleased expression and couldn't help but smirk, a cruel amusement dancing in his gaze. "Ah, Naoya," he muttered with a dry tone. "I trust you didn't torment your future bride too terribly during the estate tour."
Naoya's smirk widened, and he offered a nonchalant shrug. "I assure you, I was just acquainting her with her new surroundings, Father," he replied, a hint of a challenge in his voice.
Naobito chuckled, a sound devoid of warmth. "I'm sure she found it enlightening."
You shot Daisuke a knowing glare, silently communicating the discomfort and arrogance you had endured during the tour, not to mention that Naoya was already onto your behavior. Daisuke, ever observant, raised an eyebrow in response, concern and understanding flickering in his eyes.
Naobito, seemingly unaffected by the unspoken communication, continued with the details of the upcoming ceremony. "The ceremony will take place June twenty-third, a Shinto ceremony," he looked between you and Daisuke to make sure you both understood. "It will be a small affair attended by only the immediate family members at the nearby shrine. It will be followed by a larger celebration here at the Zenin estate, where a formal dinner will be served."
As Naobito spoke with a bored tint to his tone, Naoya's eyes bore into you with disdain, his dissatisfaction with the arranged marriage and the disruption to his bachelor lifestyle evident. His scowl deepened as Naobito continued to drone on. It was clear he harbored no love for the impending nuptials.
Naobito concluded the discussion about the ceremony and he turned to Daisuke with a faint glimmer of interest. "Daisuke, are you planning on staying for Naohiro's wake?" He inquired, the shift in topic reflecting his indifference toward the marriage festivities.
Daisuke nodded solemnly. "Yes, I'll be staying. My brother and his wife will be arriving tomorrow as well. We'll be present to honor the memory of Naohiro."
Naobito's response was a nonchalant nod, a clear indication that the wake held little significance for him. "Very well. See to it that the arrangements are made appropriately. I trust you understand the protocols," he remarked, dismissing the matter with a wave of his hand.
You and Daisuke exchanged a glance, and without waiting for further instructions, you both bowed respectfully before taking your leave.
Dates: February 18, 2018 - Naoya and Y/N make a bet to see who will outlast who in their arranged marriage.

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO - NOW POSTED
A/N: It's DOUBLE Fooled Around Friday! Not only is there a new chapter update for Part 3 (below), but I also added a new update to the [EXTRAS] series.
Beck wiped the sweat from her brow with the bottom hem of her tank top, momentarily showing off her stomach in the process. Tara's eyes were instantly glued to the large expanse of exposed skin and the sight sent Tara's pulse to settle between her legs.
Sweat beaded at Tara's temples, lips, and lower back in the sweltering heat. A breeze moved through the workshop and her skin felt sticky from the brief coolness. Her mouth felt as dry as the Sahara dessert, no matter how much water she drank. Even so, she was fairly sure she was keeping her desperation in check, believing she wasn't letting Beck know just how much she was affecting Tara with every move she made. Tara was barely holding on by a thread, her mind felt dizzy, her resolve embarrassingly weakened by nothing but Beck's attire and the summer heatwave.
She shook her head and tried to return her focus to the reason she was here. "Uh, like I was saying... the cabinets look great. Honestly, I can't even begin to comprehend your vast and many skills."
Unfortunately for her, Beck had already caught the way Tara had been staring at her like she was mentally undressing her. The thought made Beck involuntarily run her tongue over her lips as she waited for Tara to make the next move.
She took an encouraging half a step closer and the energy between them simmered. The adjustment in proximity caused Tara's mind to completely stall out as her body physically shuddered with arousal.
The tension had been building between them since the first night they met, but ever since their date they'd begun playing somewhat of a game of chicken. They'd go back and forth with heavy innuendo and half-hearted advances, reminders of how much they wanted to fuck each other, each waiting for the other woman to finally progress their relationship towards that goal.
Beck inched closer. "I think you'll find I have even more skills that have absolutely nothing to do with construction..."
The sultry tone of her voice, paired with the sharp arch of her eyebrow as her eyes dragged over the length of Tara's body, sent an extremely clear message about what she wanted. But the problem wasn't that Tara thought Beck wasn't right there with her, she knew she was feeling the same attraction, the true issue was they simply didn't have anywhere to finally follow through with her desires.
Well, they didn't -- until now.

Discover the Latest Trends in Bathroom and Kitchen Design - Bathify USA
In today’s fast-paced world, home design trends are constantly evolving, particularly in the heart of the home—our bathrooms and kitchens. As we look toward the future, it’s essential to stay informed about the latest styles, innovations, and functionalities that can elevate these spaces. Whether you’re a seasoned designer or a homeowner looking to refresh your spaces, exploring these trends through an online bathroom and kitchen store like Bathify can provide you with inspiration and practical solutions.
Sustainable Materials
One of the most significant trends in bathroom and kitchen design is the growing emphasis on sustainability. Homeowners are increasingly seeking eco-friendly materials that not only look great but also reduce environmental impact. From reclaimed wood cabinets to countertops made from recycled glass, sustainable options are both stylish and responsible. Shopping at an online store like Bathify allows you to easily find these innovative materials, making it simpler to incorporate them into your renovation plans.
Open Concept Layouts
Open concept designs continue to dominate modern kitchens. These layouts create a seamless flow between the kitchen and living areas, making it easier for families to interact and entertain. When planning your open concept space, consider features like large kitchen islands that can double as dining areas. This trend not only maximizes functionality but also enhances the overall aesthetic of your home. An online bathroom and kitchen store can provide you with various options for island designs and integrated appliances that fit your vision.
Smart Technology
The integration of smart technology into bathroom and kitchen design is another trend that is gaining momentum. From touchless faucets to smart shower systems, technology is making our daily routines more efficient and enjoyable. These features can help conserve water, maintain optimal temperatures, and even provide personalized experiences. As you explore options in an online store, look for smart devices that blend seamlessly with your decor while enhancing the functionality of your space.
Bold Colors and Patterns
Gone are the days of muted, monochromatic color schemes. Today’s design trends favor bold colors and patterns that make a statement. Whether it’s vibrant tiles in the kitchen or an eye-catching wallpaper in the bathroom, incorporating these elements can add personality and flair. When browsing through an online bathroom and kitchen store, don’t hesitate to explore various color palettes and patterns that resonate with your style.
Vintage and Retro Influences
Another trend making a comeback is the incorporation of vintage and retro elements into modern designs. Whether it’s a farmhouse sink in the kitchen or clawfoot tubs in the bathroom, these timeless features add character and charm to your spaces. Mixing modern appliances with vintage accents can create a unique aesthetic that tells a story. Bathify offers a wide selection of vintage-inspired fixtures that can effortlessly blend the old with the new.
Minimalist Designs
On the flip side, minimalism remains a powerful design philosophy. Clean lines, neutral colors, and uncluttered spaces create a serene environment, making it ideal for both bathrooms and kitchens. This approach not only enhances functionality but also makes spaces feel more expansive. When shopping online, look for sleek cabinetry, hidden storage solutions, and simple yet elegant fixtures that embody the minimalist ethos.
Conclusion
Staying updated on the latest trends in bathroom and kitchen design is crucial for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Whether you’re drawn to sustainable materials, smart technology, or bold colors, Bathify online store offers a plethora of options to help you realize your vision. Embrace these trends and transform your home into a stylish sanctuary that reflects your personal taste and lifestyle. Expert Tips for Budget-Friendly Home Remodeling in Houston
Do you have a tasteful cobblestone mansion in Montrose, a bungalow in Houston Heights, or an apartment downtown? Well, irrespective of where your home is or how big it is, if you want to add character to your space and remodel your Houston home, setting a budget is the first thing you need to do. However, most people stop at the very first sight of home remodeling because they think their Houston home remodel is going to break the bank.
Set Clear Goals and Budget
If you want to stick to a budget for your renovation job, the first thing you need to do is set up a budget. Before diving into your remodeling project, define your goals and prioritize what you want to achieve. Whether you are trying to update a dated kitchen, add a new bathroom, or simply refresh the paint, prioritize your projects based on the necessity and potential return on investment. By planning everything you can allocate your budget more effectively and prevent any unnecessary expenses.
Besides, when you are setting your budgetary goals, specify a realistic budget for your remodeling project. Talk your options with your contractor about the materials and laborrequired for renovation, and while you are at it, don’t forget to include a contingency fund (about 10-15%) of the total budget to cover unexpected expenses. Having an emergency fund can help you manage any surprises without derailing your project.
Hire Reliable Local Contractors
Some people try the DIY method because they think hiring contractors is cost-intensive. However, the opposite is true. When you hire experienced contractors to handle every aspect of your renovation, they can help you save money in the long run with quality workmanship. Professional contractors have years of experience and they can help you save a ton of time, effort, and money by preventing any costly repairs or reworks.
Reuse and Repurpose Existing Elements
Reusing and repurposing existing elements in your home can significantly cut costs. For instance, instead of replacing all your kitchen cabinets, consider refinishing or repainting them. Repurposing furniture, fixtures, and other decor elements can also give your space a fresh look without the expense of buying new items.
Energy Efficiency
You can reach out to your contractors for installing energy-efficient additions like windows, insulation, or appliances, that are more energy-efficient for your home. Although you would have to make some initial investments, these additions pay for themselves over time through reduced energy consumption.
The Bottom Line
Gone are the days when building a home meant draining your finances from the core. Now, you can reach out to the top remodeling contractors in Houston and they can help you map out your finances for the entire construction process. Whether it’s an elaborate home expansion project spanning across weeks and months, or it’s just a home improvement project that’s aimed at improving the overall aesthetics of your space, reach out to the professional remodeling contractors at Marwood Construction and get a budget-friendly renovation without any delays or pitfalls.

Bengaluru Skydeck Project : A Comprehensive Guide to the 250-Meter Tower
Introduction
Bengaluru, the bustling tech capital of India, is on the brink of a transformative urban development with the proposed Skydeck project. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar recently unveiled plans for a 250-meter-high Skydeck aimed at boosting tourism and providing a panoramic view of the city. This article explores the latest updates on the Bengaluru Skydeck project, including its proposed location, anticipated benefits, and the project's impact on Bengaluru’s urban landscape.
What is the Bengaluru Skydeck Project?
Inspired by Banyan tree, Bangalore Skydeck project envisions constructing a colossal tower that will offer breathtaking panoramic views of the city. This architectural marvel is expected to rival iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty. The project aims to position Bangalore as a premier tourist destination, drawing visitors with its unique blend of technology, culture, and awe-inspiring vistas.
🌟 Bengaluru Skydeck Project: A New Icon for the City
The Skydeck project is set to become one of Bengaluru’s most iconic landmarks. Standing at a towering 250 meters, this structure is designed to offer breathtaking views of the city and attract tourists from across the globe. The initiative has garnered strong support from both opposition leaders and local MLAs, with a final decision expected in the upcoming cabinet meeting.
Location Selection: The Skydeck requires a substantial 25-acre site. Initially considered locations such as Kommaghatta and the Bengaluru University campus faced opposition due to concerns about their impact on students and the utilization of valuable land. Consequently, the site near NICE Road has emerged as the preferred choice, thanks to its availability and strategic location.
Strategic Advantages: The NICE Road location offers several benefits:
Tourist Accessibility: The site’s proximity to major routes will make it easily accessible for tourists traveling to Mysore and Kodagu.
Future Developments: Planned enhancements to NICE Road and the Peripheral Ring Road are expected to further improve connectivity and accessibility.
Cost : The Skydeck project, which aims to construct the tallest tower in the city, is projected to cost the government approximately Rs 400 to Rs 500 crore.

Global Recognition: As a world-class landmark, the Skydeck will enhance Bangalore's global image and attract investments in other sectors.
🚀 Location and Approval Process: What’s Next for the Skydeck?
The Skydeck project has faced several considerations in its site selection process:
Supreme Court Directive: The government is set to reclaim 200 acres from the NICE Road promoters as per a Supreme Court directive. This move has paved the way for finalizing the NICE Road site for the Skydeck.
Site Alternatives: Other potential locations, such as NGEF land at Byappanahalli, Sandal Soap Factory near Yeshwantpur, and Bengaluru University’s Jnanabharathi campus, were evaluated. However, these options were ruled out due to various concerns, including proximity to the old airport and potential disruptions.
Cabinet Meeting: The final approval for the NICE Road location and the Skydeck project will be discussed in the upcoming cabinet meeting, where the decision will be formalized.
Key Features and Impact
Unmatched Views: The centerpiece of the project is the observation deck, offering 360-degree vistas of Bangalore's sprawling cityscape.
Mixed-Use Development: Beyond the observation deck, the Skydeck will house a diverse range of amenities including luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, high-end retail outlets, and entertainment zones.
