Allow me to introduce myself ..

Tw: mention of depression.

Well.. I need to get this out somewhere. I made myself ALOT of promises this year. One was that I would stop using someone's trauma as a way to excuse their behavior. I need my inner child to take precedence over their inner wounded child. It was a relief to make the promise to myself but in practice it was hard to even conceive not being overwhelmingly "there" for others. But I've been doing this for most of my life and I feel more alone than ever, so time to switch things up. Another promise that feels connected to this is that, I will overcome my depression. I won't give up, not yet. I have to know I tried everything first, everything.
