Brooklyn "Scout" LaViolette - Shrine to Henry
Part 2 of this post
Already on edge from her quitting out of the blue, Joey snapped when he saw Brooklyn messing with Henry's desk. So he dragged her to the Ink Machine and threw her inside.
Except, there was something he hadn't anticipated. A witness. Lithographer Sawyer Samuelson saw what Joey was doing and jumped in to try and help Brook. He even managed to stab him in the leg, but this wasn't enough.
Two people were shoved into the machine, and when they were spat back out they manifested as twisted twins.
Inside the cycle, Scout takes the form of The Silent Angel, a version of Alice Angel that has no mouth and is thus unable to speak and only cry constant streams of ink, much like how the faulty technology often left her voiceless. She shambles around the studio halls, having been reduced to a hostile mindless monster in her pain. The only creature that can bring out a glimpse of the human she once was is her "twin," The Shape, as his connection to the well is the only way her voice can be heard again.

Yesterday I got back into The Bendy Mood, and remembered myself and my bud @thevioletscout had some fun Bendysonas we made a while after Dark Revival was released! So here's some doodles of them, Sawyer Samuelson and Brooklyn "Scout" LaViolette, who we also call "The Fucked Up Alice Twins"
And for some lore
Brooklyn, aka Scout, was originally made after a recording error that left her without a voice. Thus, the Silent Angle. Quiet, unlucky and in agonizing pain, she wanders the studio.
Sawyer is generally an angrier me, and my love of water themed monsters. The Shape was based on the Siren serenade Alice poster and he basically makes it dangerous to wade in ink pools.
We've talked about it a tiny bit, but I have had brought up the idea Sawyer saw Brook getting ran through the machine, and threw himself into the fray. Wound up stabbing Joey in the leg (resulting in a permantent limp), but both employees got twisted into these weird Alice angel twins/clones. Probably not a good idea to run two people through the machine at once.
When I asked, Scout said the reason Brook mightve been chosen was the following events...
-Sammy mistreating her from the bad luck/tech. Difficulties, she starts seeking other voice acting opportunities and hands in that notice of her departure
-And inspired by the video starting this, was caught messing with Henry's old desk and Joey lost his shit.
For Sawyers beef, he's very ballsy around the studio due to having a back up plan if the studio doesn't work out, and he's hardly quiet about it, squaring up with Joey and Sammy if they get in his buisness frequently. Joey is, in my mind, very possessive of his work force, particular after Henry left, so Sawyer being the way he is puts him on edge.
So these two have significant beef with this studio!
---
The memes, meanwhile
-Sawyer is constantly on edge, unfriendly to Joey and frequently makes threats to the man while being watched drawing, like a hawk.
-Brook also equally has no chill, and likes annoying Sammy, considering how pissed the guy is and she's often unfortunately around when technical difficulties arise.

Wheeling Nailers End Skid with Snowman in Norfolk, 8-4
Tumblr media
The Wheeling Nailers put their seven-game winless skid to bed in a big way on Wednesday night, as they played the first of three games at Norfolk Scope Arena this week. Brooklyn Kalmikov was the brightest star of the game, as he kick-started a three-goal first period by Wheeling and ended up with a hat trick and an assist. Tyler Drevitch posted his fifth multi-goal game of the season, while Jarrett Lee dished out three primary assists in his professional debut. That all added up to an 8-4 Nailers triumph. The first period was a superior one for the Nailers, as they came out with a purpose, and quickly put three goals on the scoreboard. The first two markers looked extremely similar with the finishing touches, as Jarrett Lee started his pro career with a pair of tape-to-tape feeds through the slot to Brooklyn Kalmikov. Kalmikov deposited both passes into the left side of the net, with one coming at the 6:27 mark, and the other at 11:03. Wheeling wasn't done there, and on goal number three, Kalmikov started the play with a pass from his own end, as he sent Tyler Drevitch and Jordan Frasca away on a 2-on-1 break. Drevitch dished the puck to Frasca, who stepped into the left circle and roofed a wrist shot into the top-right corner of the cage. Norfolk pushed back with two tallies in the middle frame. The first one came just 18 seconds in, as Carson Musser led Darren McCormick into the left circle, where he sifted a wrist shot in along the ice. Ryan Foss temporarily brought the Admirals within one, when he took Ian White's right point shot from ice level and redirected it up and into the top-right corner of the net. The Nailers answered that strike 1:11 later to carry their two-goal lead into the intermission. Cédric Desruisseaux stole the puck in the offensive zone, then zipped a left circle wrist shot into the right side of the goal. The first two periods saw six total goals scored, and the third period matched that. Wheeling took full control of the game early in the stanza with a power play tally. Jordan Frasca slid a pass to Kalmikov, who completed his hat trick by driving a one-timer from the top of the right circle off of the left post and in. Tyler Drevitch and Gianluca Esteves followed with goals 1:44 apart from each other, as Drevitch tapped home a loose puck on the left side of the crease, and Esteves chipped a pass from Lee into the top-right corner. Todd Burgess notched back-to-back markers for the Admirals, before Drevitch turned turned out the lights with the final goal of the night, as he blazed a shot through his college teammate Troy Kobryn for the 8-4 score. Tommy Nappier recorded the win for the Nailers, as he made 25 saves on 29 shots. Tomas Vomacka allowed four goals on 11 shots for Norfolk in two periods, before giving way to Troy Kobryn, who received the loss with 13 saves on 17 shots in the third. The Nailers and Admirals will continue their three-game series in Norfolk on Friday night at 7:05, then wrap things up with the finale on Saturday night at 6:05. The next home game is Wheeling Hockey Hall of Fame Night on Friday, March 24th at 7:10 against the Kalamazoo Wings. Former Nailers Head Coach Peter Laviolette and former Thunderbird Brock Woods are the two inductees. That night is also a Frosty Friday. Ticket packages and single game tickets are available for the 2022-23 season by visiting wheelingnailers.com or calling (304) 234-GOAL. The Wheeling Nailers, considered one of the top things to do in Wheeling, West Virginia, provide affordable family entertainment for fans throughout the Ohio Valley. Read the full article

Brooklyn "Scout" LaViolette - Paid to be Silent
This is a bit of a companion piece/follow-up to this post by @emotional-support-cultist. Long story short, we made selfsonas for Bendy and the Ink Machine, and they turned out pretty interesting.
So here is a quick rundown of the Bendysona created by me.
Brooklyn LaViolette, often called "Scout" or simply Brook, is a singer and voice actress for Joey Drew Studios in her early twenties. As such, she works in the music department. She usually voiced miscellaneous characters or provided background vocals.
She has a bit of bad luck, most notably technology seems to always break around her at inconvenient times. This especially ticked off Sammy Lawrence, who at this point was well and truly addicted to the ink he had been consuming, and he began to take out his frustrations on her.
This led to her seeking out a different acting job, and once she found one she approached Joey to give him a notice of her quitting.
But she didn't exactly get to leave the building that night...

Sawyer Samuelson - Rumor Mill and "Just like Henry"
More upon mine and @thevioletscout 's bendysonas, and Sawyers audio logs!
! Everything under the cut !
Tumblr media
Sawyer Samuelson, a lithographer at Joey Drew Studios, has one of those faces and personalities (… generally) where people feel comfortable sharing their frustrations with. Which often leads to Sawyer being more then acquainted to the drama in the studio, much to his own dismay. And this eventually gets him some words with Norman Polk, who has a few pieces of information about the studio people rarely talked about. Why the man told him about the studio’s (ex) Co-Founder, who knows with him.
(He thought the fallout would be hilarious and wanted to see what the fire-cracker did with the tidbit)
Following this, a few days later Sawyer is venting to himself on his break, having overheard from the rumor mil that a voice-actress had recently quit due to concerning behavior from the Music Department. And through unfortunate timing, Mr. Drew came by to ask Sawyer about something when as argument began to spur on, where Sawyer reminds Mr. Drew that he couldn’t threaten a man who was always ready to quit on the spot, like a certain ex-animator did so long ago.
Tumblr media
Following this audio log, a mere few hours later Sawyer came to witness Joey Drew shoving Brooklyn “Scout’ LaViolette into the Ink Machine after her just harmlessly messing with Henry's old desk. He was definaitely still pissed off after Sawyers mention of the man.
Thinking fast, and unhinged-like, Sawyer attacked the man. While managing to injure him, both he and Scout were ran through the machine, all at once. What came from the puddles were The Alice Twins.
The Shape gained a strange sentience, rare in the studio, where he could even swim through The Well and travel around, alike the Flow ability. Though, likely more dangerous. He’s aggressive to everything in the studio- all but one. The Silent Angel, his twin essentially. And with his connection to The Well, The Shape can channel others voices to ‘speak’, and is the only time the Silent Angel can use her voice again.

Nailers Put Exclamation Point on 2022 With 6-5 Comeback Win
Tumblr media
The Wheeling Nailers saved the best for last in more ways than one, as they closed out the 2022 calendar year in thrilling fashion on Saturday night at WesBanco Arena. Wheeling trailed the Reading Royals 5-3 at the end of the second period, but rallied back with three goals in the third for the 6-5 triumph - the team's 19th all-time win on New Year's Eve. P eter Laviolette III started the comeback with his first pro goal, Brooklyn Kalmikov tied the score, then Justin Addamo's second of the night won it with 3:23 remaining. Both teams came out ready to score, as the two sides combined to light the lamp five times on 17 shots in the opening 20 minutes. The Nailers opened the scoring at the 7:01 mark. Carter Johnson delivered a tape-to-tape centering pass, which Justin Addamo slammed into the right side of the cage. Cédric Desruisseaux was the next player to find the twine, as he capitalized on a power play chance by sniping a wrist shot from the left circle. Jordan Timmons put Reading on the scoreboard less than two minutes later, as he deposited the rebound of Garrett McFadden's dipping shot, which rang off the right post. That was followed by two tallies in a span of 11 seconds, as Adam Smith drove home a one-timer from the center point, then Trey Bradley squeezed in a shot from the slot for a 3-2 Wheeling lead through one. The middle frame was all Royals, as they turned what started as a two-goal deficit into a two-goal lead. Charlie Gerard knotted the score at the 3:05 mark, when he broke down the right side, and roofed a wrist shot into the top-right corner. That chased Tommy Nappier from the Nailers net, as Bailey Brkin took over. Reading didn't let up, as Dominic Cormier gave the visitors their first lead of the night, when his right point wrister rang in off of the right post. 1:37 later, Max Newton made the score 5-3, when he flipped in the rebound of Evan Barratt's shot from the left circle. An early goal dictated the third period, as Wheeling flipped the game back in the other direction. That early marker came courtesy of Peter Laviolette III, who grabbed a pass from Tyler Drevitch, and smoked a shot into the right side of the net. Just over the midway mark of the stanza, the Nailers utilized the power play to pull even. Chris Ortiz floated his third assist of the night to Brooklyn Kalmikov, who got the goaltender down, before shoveling a shot into the top portion of the goal. Wheeling wasn't satisfied with just a tie, and with 3:23 to go, Addamo stepped up to put the home side ahead for good. The rookie forward gained the offensive blueline, then whipped the game winning goal in along the ice, as the Nailers were victorious, 6-5. Bailey Brkin earned the win in his Wheeling debut, as he blocked 17 of the 19 shots he faced, after taking over for Tommy Nappier, who made eight saves on 11 shots. Kaden Fulcher took the loss for the Royals, as he gave up six goals on 34 shots. The Nailers will open the 2023 calendar year with six home games in the next two weeks. The first of those is a Frosty Friday on January 6th at 7:10, when they battle the Fort Wayne Komets. That will be followed by a Sunday, January 8th 4:10 tilt against the Kalamazoo Wings, which will be followed by a skate with the odd-numbered players. Wizards & Wands is also right around the corner on Saturday, January 14th. That night will feature a wand giveaway, a wizarding school acceptance letter, quidditch during intermission, a sorting hat station, butter beer, specialty jerseys, and more. Ticket packages and single game tickets are available for the 2022-23 season by visiting wheelingnailers.com or calling (304) 234-GOAL. Wheeling Nailers Knock Off Komets in Preseason Opener
Tumblr media
The Wheeling Nailers gave their fans a lot to be excited about for the 2022-23 season, as they put forth a terrific performance in their preseason opener. Wheeling got goals from six different players, including Wheeling native Peter Laviolette III, and also got 39 saves from their two goaltenders to knock off the Fort Wayne Komets, 6-3 at WesBanco Arena. The Nailers brought some good pace to the first period, and were able to open the scoring by utilizing their speed. Jason Horvath tossed a lead pass ahead to Griffin Lunn, who broke away from the defense, and sniped a shot into the top-right corner of the net. The opening stanza also featured a fight, as Peter Laviolette III stuck up for a teammate and threw down the gloves with Tristan Pelletier. Laviolette showcased another aspect of his game in the middle frame, as he extended Wheeling's lead. While the Nailers were playing shorthanded, Peter broke up a play in the defensive zone, then poked the puck ahead to himself for a breakaway, which he converted, as he tucked a forehand shot through Rylan Toth's legs. Fort Wayne got on the scoreboard a few minutes later, when Aiden Jamieson threw in a wrist shot from the left point. The start of the third period was all Wheeling. 38 seconds in, Cédric Desruisseaux pounced on a loose puck at the bottom of the right circle and immediately zipped a shot through a pile of bodies. 34 seconds later, Nick Fea delivered a perfect centering pass to Justin Addamo, who lifted a shot under the crossbar. 2:46 after that, Bobby Hampton joined the party, as he buried a cross-ice feed from David Drake at the left face-off dot. The Komets attempted to make things interesting, as they turned on the red light twice in 16 seconds on goals by Liam Van Loon and Louie Rowe, but Brooklyn Kalmikov iced the Nailers victory with a long-distance empty netter for the 6-3 final. Tommy Nappier and Ryan Bednard both turned in stellar performances in the Wheeling crease. Nappier stopped all 17 shots he faced in the start, then gave way to Bednard, who got the win with 22 saves on 25 shots. Owen Savory turned away ten of the 11 shots he faced for Fort Wayne, before Rylan Toth was beaten four times on 11 attempts. The Nailers and Komets will wrap up their exhibition series on Sunday afternoon in Fort Wayne at 3:00. Wheeling will then open the regular season on Saturday, October 22nd against the Toledo Walleye at 7:10. The ZOOperstars will be performing their hilarious show that families are sure to enjoy throughout the night, with characters such as Squidney Crosby and Mario Lemule. Wheeling Nailers Receive 11 Players from AHL Training Camps
Tumblr media
The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, have announced that they have received 11 players from AHL training camps, as their training camp roster has grown to 28. Wheeling received one goaltender, Ryan Bednard, who brings the team total to three at that position. Bednard is the most experienced of the netminders, as he prepares to begin his fourth professional season. Ryan has posted a 44-36-12 career mark in the ECHL, to go along with five AHL victories. He helped the Greenville Swamp Rabbits reach the Eastern Conference Final in 2021. On defense, the Nailers received three members of last year's club, in addition to two new faces. Josh Maniscalco will look to build off of his outstanding rookie campaign, which saw him rack up 17 goals and 53 points to lead all ECHL rookie defensemen in scoring. Adam Smith returns for his third season in Wheeling and fourth as a pro, after leading the team with a +17 rating last year and adding 23 points. David Drake also begins his fourth pro season, as he was acquired from the Reading Royals in January, and played a key role in shutting down the opposition, as the Nailers won their first playoff series since 2016. Joining these three returners are Clay Hanus and Louie Roehl. Hanus signed an AHL contract with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this summer, after finishing his junior hockey career with the WHL's Portland Winterhawks. Hanus finished second among WHL defensemen with 74 points. Roehl is coming off of a very successful collegiate career at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he won two NCAA National Championships, and reached the Frozen Four one other time. Up front, there is one returning player, three who are coming to Wheeling for the first time, and one who is a tad older this time around. Cédric Desruisseaux was acquired late last season from the Trois-Rivières Lions, and made a quick impact on the scoresheet, as he accumulated seven points in 11 games. Max Johnson and Justin Addamo were both signed by the Nailers this summer, after completing their college careers. Johnson attended Bowling Green State University and the University of Wisconsin, and especially enjoyed his time with the Falcons, as he scored 122 points in his four years there. Addamo had three strong years at nearby Robert Morris University, before he transferred to RPI, where he set a career high with 14 goals as a senior. Brooklyn Kalmikov signed an AHL contract with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and is ready to begin his pro career, after playing five years of junior hockey in the QMJHL. Kalmikov won a President's Cup with the Victoriaville Tigres in 2021, then exploded for 34 goals, 38 assists, and 72 points with the Moncton Wildcats in 2021-22. Peter Laviolette III will start his professional playing career in the same city where he was born in 1997. The son of the former Nailers head coach was nearly a point-per-game player in his senior year at Plymouth State University. The Nailers will have open practices for the remainder of the week beginning at 10:30, leading up to their preseason opener on Friday night at 7:10 against the Fort Wayne Komets. Opening Night is less than two weeks away, as Wheeling will host the Toledo Walleye on October 22nd at 7:10.
