And here's the consolidated list (mostly?) All from Diamond in the Rough, character notes below cut (not in same order as pics)
Considered a few different systems for assigning gems (gemstone family, value, etc.) but ultimately just went with color/relative familiarity of gem. There’s so many cool gems out there~ (I was trying to not be too repetitive with types/use more common ones though Quartz has a million interesting varieties!)
Mega Man, Blue Sapphire Sphere I wavered a lot on his ‘trinket’, Sapphire seemed obvious (especially with Proto being a ruby, both are corundum gemstones) but also considered blue diamond, alexandrite (blue/purple color shift), and aquamarine. For the jewelry, was also considering an atomic model (for chemistry?), a screwdriver, and slightly regretting not considering circlet
Roll, Amethyst Earring: primarily always wanted amethyst, but also considered heliodor, padparadscha sapphire (but it wasn’t quite the right color? and perhaps too obscure), tanzanite, morganite, zoisite, kunsite, iolite, (purple gems etc.) For shape, was considering spikes/fangs though that’s also Treble and Punk’s lol
Bass, Emerald Snake Arm Cuff: loosely based on a real arm cuff I saw in a book. Also considered black diamond, green diamond (he’s the titular ‘diamond in the rough’), and black opal
Proto Man, Ruby Aviator Badge: I went with ruby in the end, which seemed most obvious choice, but also considered red diamond and bixbite (red beryl)
Elec Man, Black Opal Ring: Also considered chatoyant Sapphire, Alexandrite (??? color shift?), chrysoberyl, angelite/anhydrite, and even hawkeye quartz (loosely inspired by a real hawkeye ‘lightning’ ring, before that I was thinking cufflinks, but seemed weird for him to become either a pair of gems, or even a single cufflink lol)
Jewel Man, Colorless Beryl (Goshenite) Monocle - also considered rock crystal, diamond, and Padparadscha sapphire. Apparently both beryl and rock crystal were historically used for eyeglasses. Monocle is a reference to gentleman thief archtypes, also they are just fancy. (Also I realized while drawing this that having a plique a jour monocle chain is probably super impractical, oh well lol)
Top Man, Imperial Topaz  Pendant in a Jeweled Egg - also considered alexandrite and spinel (for the pun, heh) and spessertite
Kalinka/Mega Girl, Rose Quartz Blossom Barrette: Pink :) though I considered other lesser known (but more valuable) pink gems
Quint, Alexandrite Wristwatch: Quint is a time traveler (of sorts), also considered model armillary sphere/astrolabe, a screwdriver, and jade or malachite or nanocrystal
Wily, Agate Cameo Belt Buckle: Loosely inspired by his skull belt in some of his game art, also considered amythist
Dr. Light, Alabaster bead on a bookmark tassel:  Dr. Light likes books! Was also considering rock crystal and goshenite
Ring Man, Zircon Hoop Bracelet: Reference to both his namesake and his carney background. Was also considering class ring (before assigning the ring to Elec Man) and a circlet. ‘Zircon’ just sounds circusy, must be the Z
Magnet Man, Garnet Horseshoe Amulet: garnets are apparently magnetic, also considered fridge magnet
Cut Man, Citrine Paperknife: for obvious reasons. I also considered topaz for the gem
Guts Man, Tourmaline Paperweight: funny/fitting pairing with the paper knife, the shape is in reference to the boulder he holds in game art (for a brief week, was a rock crystal until I realized those are clear lol smokey quartz would have made more sense)
Punk, Spinel Motorcycle Chain: ‘Spinel’ may be a derivative from Latin ’spina’ which means thorn
Rush, Labradorite Bone Collar Tag: Went for the pun!
Treble, Howlite Fang: and ditto for Treble
Others that weren’t in chapter (this list has no significance what-so-ever, I brainstormed a list of gems but also ‘trinkets’ and my brain just started associating lol)
Beat, Aquamarine Aigrette: Beat actually avoided transformation, but that’s what he would have been
Gyro Man: Mood Ring
Dr. Cossack: Selenite something or other
Dark Man: D20
Time Man: a pocket watch
Enker: Chess piece
Metal Man: A knife
Shadow Man: Also a knife, maybe jade
Yamato Man: Natsuke
Burner Man: Match Box
Fake Man: phenakite, derived from greek word for deceiver
Magic Man: Card Case
Needle Man: Rutilated quartz (it has needle-like inclusions)
Pharaoh Man: Scarab collar pin/cloak clasp
Star Man: Star Saphire?
And that's it from the notes, haha.

Vintage Tanzanite Rings: A Unique Stone for Time-Tested Styles
When anyone questions you about your favourite blue gemstone, the first answer that pops into your mind is Sapphires or Blue Topaz. Today, you can add another blue gem to your stone dictionary. Meet the Tanzanite stone!
Introduction
Tanzanite is a violet-blue to blue-violet stone from the family of the mineral zoisite. Tanzanite is a pleochroic stone reflecting different colours from different angles. In 1969 American Mineralogist characterised the gem's pleochroic colours as "red-violet, deep blue, and golden green". Most stones nowadays have to undergo heat treatment, which enhances the blue and violet while removing or reducing the yellow-green or brownish pleochroic colour.
Unlike most gems, it was discovered very recently, in 1967. Therefore, to know if Tanzanite would be the appropriate stone for your ring, you should read further to fully understand its history and properties and what makes the stone so unique.

History and Lore
The story of Tanzanite dates back to 1967, making it a very recent addition to the gemstone family. Ali Juuyawatu, a member of the Masai tribe, came across a group of clear, bright violet-to-blue crystals protruding out of the ground at Merelani, a region of northern Tanzania. He informed Manuel d'Souza, a local fortune seeker, who promptly filed four mining claims. D'Souza hoped he had hit the jackpot with a new sapphire mine, but it was a mine of the world's latest gem.
As the news spread, some 90 more claims were placed within the same 20 square-mile areas. The tribe members of Masai did not know what kind of crystals they were, but they were sure that it would bring them a fortune. The new gem was later named Tanzanite, in honour of Tanzania, where it was first mined.
Tiffany & Company agreed to become its primary distributor after realising its potential as an international retailer and heavily advertised it. As a result, Tanzanite gained popularity among top jewellery designers and other gem experts almost immediately, as well as with consumers who had an eye for stunning and unique jewels. At times, its popularity would rival that of the Big 3.

Qualities
A high-quality tanzanite can have a distinct, mostly violet tint or be violetish blue, similar to a good sapphire. Depending on how the cutter chooses to orient the fashioned gem, some stones may appear more purple. A fashioned stone can be gently shaken and turned to reveal violet and blue pleochroic colours. As a result, each Tanzanite is a mixture of various pleochroic hues. The exact face-up shade is determined by the inherent colour of the original rough, the size and the pleochroic colours preferred by the cutter when orienting the fashioned stone, and the light in which the finished gem is viewed. Tanzanite appears bluer under cool lighting, whereas it appears more violet-to-purple in warm lighting.
Tanzanite scores 6 to 7 on the Mohs Hardness Scale. A gem's hardness determines how easily it can be scratched. Earrings, pendants, and other jewellery pieces that won't be subjected to impact and damage are the best choices for Tanzanites. Compared to a diamond, known for being the most rigid stone, a Tanzanite is relatively poor in its hardness. If the stone is worn in a ring, making it is susceptible to scratches during everyday use. This issue can be mitigated if the setting is designed to shield the stone from impact and damage or if the ring is not worn during activities likely to cause a crash or collision.
Vibrant, intensely colouredtanzanites are very sought-after, like other coloured gemstones. However, lighter-toned pastel colours have a softer appeal than vibrant colours and are more widely available and reasonably priced.
Uses of Tanzanite
Jewellery
Wearing crystals as jewellery is one of the best ways to honour them and their healing power. Nothing can obstruct vibrational energy flow when healing stones are in contact with the skin. Ensuring that the healing energy reaches the necessary places. Wear a Tanzanite as a pendant, bracelet, or earring for the best results while looking very chic. For use in a ring, it is less appropriate. According to many jewellers, tanzanite rings should be worn for special occasions rather than daily.
Many lovely options are available for individuals who want to combine their Tanzanite stone with other jewels that operate in harmonious joy. For example, tanzanite pairs amazingly well with Amethyst, Tourmaline, Aquamarine, and Garnet.

Vintage Tanzanite Ring
Though the ring aspects of a Tanzanite play against it, it does not mean you can never wear it as a ring. However, the wearer should be careful about the softness of the stone. Vintage tanzanite and diamond ring mix unexpectedly vivid colours with ageless, adaptable glitter.
For instance, the Tanzanite and Diamond Heart Ring feature a spherical Tanzanite with two smaller heart-shaped diamonds, one on each side of the ring's band. The diamonds add to the glimmer of the ring, complimenting the vintage design. This style is classic, striking, and filled with romance and elegance.
Vintage gemstone rings with Tanzanite breathe new life into these time-honoured designs. The unexpected yet beautiful way to ask someone to marry you is with a Tanzanite engagement ring.

Home and Office
Tanzanite's tranquillity, purity, and flow into your world result from this stone's water energy. In Feng Shui, the Tanzanite stone can be positioned in any area that calls for tranquillity, calm, and reflective prayer and thinking. It's an excellent stone to put in any office or workspace because it promotes communion and communication. Tanzanite also triggers fire energy because it is a violet firestone. It brings comfort, light, and an utterly alluring brightness.
Treated, Synthetic, and Imitation
Heat-treated Tanzanite
Most of the now-sold Tanzanites have to undergo heat treatment. Heating is the source of Tanzanite's beautiful blue colour, except for a small portion of naturally blue material. Customers and retailers are accustomed to this treatment as it is well-known. In addition, there is a modest amount of superb-coloured, untreated Tanzanite in the mines. Some purchasers prefer this naturally blue substance.

Synthetic Tanzanite
There is no known synthetic Tanzanite on the market. It has yet to manufacture and commercialize synthetic Tanzanite successfully. However, "fake Tanzanite" is being used to sell stones by merchants with ill intent.
Imitation Tanzanite
Every well-known gem has imitations, and Tanzanite is no different. In addition, a few synthetic materials resemble Tanzanite in appearance. For example, a synthetic form of the mineral forsterite, which belongs to the olivine solid solution series, is being created with pleochroism and colour that resemble Tanzanite.
Tanavyte, Coranite, and some blue glass have also been utilised as Tanzanite substitutes. In addition, an artificial glass ceramic known as Nanosital is produced in various colours that resemble gemstones. Using a polariscope and pleochroism test, jewellers can easily distinguish it from natural Tanzanite since imitation is not pleochroic and Tanzanite is stunningly trichroic.
It is illegal to market imitation materials as "Tanzanite." They must be marked on the packaging to inform the customer that the item they buy "looks like tanzanite" but is not made of Tanzanite.
How to care for your Tanzanite gemstone?
Setting or working with Tanzanite requires caution. If one is not careful, the stone, which is fragile and brittle, may break. Additionally, the stone must stay away from extreme heat or temperature swings. It would be best if you never cleaned Tanzanite with the usual ultrasonic cleaners used by jewellers since it is also delicate to pressure and has a low resistance to ultrasound. It is susceptible to permanent harm. Tanzanite should generally be worn with caution.
The easiest way to keep your Tanzanite clean is with warm, soapy water. Use an old, soft toothbrush or something similar to clean it carefully. Make sure to rinse properly because soapy water might dull the stone. You can "polish" off fingerprints and other smudges off the surface of your stone by using a soft cloth.
Conclusion
The true nature of a gemstone's life course from the mine to the counter of a store is something few people outside the gem industry know. No matter where the stone is sold to customers—at the counter of a typical online diamond  store, online or on television—the path always requires much work. Vintage Tanzanite rings are very famous right now. You can easily find this ring online by searching for it as Tanzanite ring UK.

Fic First Lines
Rules: List the first lines of your last 20 stories (if you have less than 20, just list them all). See if there are any patterns. Choose your favourite opening line, then tag 10 of your favourite authors!
Tagged by @mejomonster and @foxofninetales for the 8 and 20 line one, so combing them into one. Thank you both! 💖💖💖
I’m going to go with written date, rather than posted date, since I recently moved a bunch of old fics onto AO3. This means I’ll also be including some fics that are at least half written, but not yet posted.
Where I’ve co-written fics, I’m only including the ones where I wrote the first line, as far as I can remember, since it’s also asking about patterns in your own writing.
*
1. Living With Inlaws (DMBJ Liu Sang Week fic co-written with @xantissa):  Game over, read the message on the cell phone screen, and Liu Sang sighed and tossed it onto the couch next to him.
2. As-yet-untitled Liu Sang Week fic (DMBJ):  The smell of gasoline was everywhere - overpowering the musty carpet smell, seeping into his clothes, wafting through his hair, burning the back of his nose, his throat, with every panicked breath he took.
3. The Zhang Identity (DMBJ):  For all that the bright streetlights weren’t that far away, it was dark where he staggered, burning with pain and the desperate need to get away from his followers.
4. Cats and Dogs (DMBJ):  Liu Sang huddled further underneath the chassis of the car he was pressed up against, shaking his head in an attempt to clear the ringing from his ears.
5. Silent Graves (DMBJ):  When the grave was first built and occupied, it was very busy.
6. Those who fear darkness have never seen what light can do (DMBJ):  Wu Sanxing crouched down beside the new hole that his people were digging out despite the pouring rain and darkness.
7. Nevermore (MDZS/CQL):  Just before their sixteenth birthdays Jiang Cheng’s adopted brother, Wei Wuxian, came charging into his room, waving a printout of the article announcing both the program, and that recruitment was now open.
(this one is also an exception - this is not the first line, but is the first line I wrote. This is a Pacific Rim fusion, and the first few lines of the fic are taken from the movie)
8. It's a lovely day in the tomb, and Yóu is a horrible shibie (DMBJ):  It's a lovely day in the tomb, and Yóu is a horrible shibie.
9. Stars fall like diamonds (DMBJ):  The first time it happened, Zhang Qiling wasn’t entirely surprised.
10. The Cats Travesty (Guardian): It all started because of the reviews.
11. Blanket Forts are the Best Wingmen (MDZS/CQL): Not for the first time that day, Lan Xichen looked around the utter disaster area that was his living room and wondered just what the hell he was doing.
12. The Rescue Job (Guardian): If anyone had asked Zhao Yunlan this morning how he thought this day would go, kissing Shen Wei would not have even been suggested.
13. Untitled post-canon fic (Guardian):  It was hurting again.
14. Operation Make Lan Zhan Remember (MDZS/CQL):  Supervising a day trip for a busload of five-year-olds had not been Lan Wangji’s plan for the day when he woke up this morning, and yet, here he was.
15. Qinghe Jue (MDZS/CQL):  Pain. His entire world was pain.
16. Do You Want To Have A Blanket Fort? (MDZS/CQL):  It looked like it had been a bright, beautiful day – at least, that’s what was promised by the golden sunlight that crept around the edges of the curtains on his bedroom window.
17. A Court of Azeroth and Prythian (A Court of Thorns and Roses / World of Warcraft):  Water filled his lungs as a falling cannon collided with him, causing him to gasp involuntarily despite himself.
18. The Falls of Mercury and Zoisite (Sailor Moon) (2001):  In the velvety darkness of night two people stood on one of the balcony's of a graceful palace, looking at a blue-green planet in the sky.
19. The Death of Zoisite (Sailor Moon) (2000-2001?):  The swirling sakura petals settled around Kunzite's feet as he stood silently.
20. Endings and Beginnings (DS9) (2000):  “Adami! Adami, listen to me!”
*
Patterns, hmm. I have a tendency to start in media res, from the looks of these, and almost always start with either action or some kind of description, rather than dialogue.
Favourite line... I have a few favourites here. The Rescue Job and Operation Make Lan Zhan Remember in particular both amuse me greatly, and pretty much all of the first lines of the recent (within the past year) fics are ones that would have me keep reading for at least the rest of the paragraph to see if the rest of the fic would keep me as engaged.
Tagging... whoever would like to do this, as I can’t remember who has already done it!

Bohemian Jewelry History
Bohemia isn't Only an alternate literary  custom lockets and art scene, but was also a kingdom of Central Europe, which is also known as the Czech Kingdom because of its place in the Western Czech Republic. Bohemia, called after the house of the Celtic"Boii" people, was part of the Holy Roman Empire that surrounded Western and Central Europe for about one thousand years until 1806.
The land of Bohemia has a lengthy history of gems and jewelry. With respect to bead materials, 14th Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV founded Karlstejn Castle to maintain the Bohemian treasure secure, and was believed to have arranged an investigation for jasper. Significant deposits of red pyrope garnet have been found in Bohemia (Central Europe) around the turn of the 16th century. At this moment, the ruler of this region was Rudolph II, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire from 1576 to 1612 and King of Bohemia, who suffered from depression, studied astronomy and had a penchant for collecting objets d'art. Rudolph II was the most well-known gem and mineral collector of the period, with an impressive amount of both, curated by Anselmus de Boodt, that was also appointed Court Doctor. Rudolph II had a keen interest in science and alchemy, and was a keen seeker of the Philosopher's Stone. His Danish astronomer, Tycho Brahe had a nose that was partially fashioned from silver and gold after an unfortunate duel left him marginally deficient in the nasal department.
Rudolph II Inherited the name of Emperor with his father's"Habsburg Jaw"; a jutting lower jaw and large lower lip. More cherished items possessed by the Habsburg family comprised a Colombian emerald unguentarium (a bottle-like boat, see picture, left) of over 2,800 carats and a big red almandine garnet gem known as"La Bella Hyacinth", mounted in the center of a double-headed eagle; a symbol of the Habsburg family. According to rumorshe was bisexual; a possible reason for his postponing marriage. His gold, enamel, diamond, ruby, spinel, sapphire and pearl crown became the Imperial Crown of Austria.
Rudolph II transferred The court from Vienna to Prague and encouraged Viennese gem cutters, goldsmiths, including the celebrated Callegari, and other eminent artists and scholars from all over the world to take up residence near. Prague therefore became known as an important centre for culture and art. The famed garnets of Bohemia were found in the mountains to the northeast and northeast of Prague. The glistening red jewels were (and are) trimmed in Prague and then the town of Turnov, to the northeast of Prague. Turnov is a portion of the Bohemian Paradise Geopark; a UNESCO recorded nature reserve where people can discover unique geological phenomena such as dolomite caves, petrified woods, olivine balls and stone materials, such as chalcedony, opal, amethyst, jasper and garnet. Turnov has been famous for rock cutting, engraving and jewelry making for hundreds of years, the most prolific time being the 1700s. A jewelry school was established there in 1884 and two decades later, a museum has been started. "The Museum of the Bohemian Paradise" is a really interesting place for people eager to learn about gems, jewelry, mineralogy and more, particularly Bohemian garnet. Turnov's highest mountain, Kozákov is your website where deposits of garnet have been found. Indeed, the Vincenc Votrubec Quarry at the foothills of Mount Kozákov allows visitors the opportunity to search for gemstone materials, for the price of renting a small hammer.
Bohemian garnet gems are said to possess excellent clarity and innocence. Traditional garnet Jewelry from this area brings to mind the inside of a pomegranate fruit, ripe with shiny reddish seed pods. This is because the stone needed a similar shape and have been traditionally put tightly together with very little metal showing. Bohemian garnet jewelry was very popular during the late nineteenth century, as it had been worn out by Victorians. It was about this time when a jewellery college was started in Turnov. The jewelry made there did not enjoy such great recognition in the 20th century, but in the 21st century, conventional Bohemian garnet jewelry enjoyed a revival.
The beautiful Fiery, red garnets of Bohemia are showcased by the artistry of those jewellery workers who continue the heritage of the Kingdom of Bohemia. Genuine Bohemian garnet jewellery is admired by gem and jewelry enthusiasts all around the world including US First Lady Michelle Obama, who shot home a Bohemian garnet brooch after seeing the Czech Republic in 2009. Since her birthday is in January, garnet is her birthstone. For those planning to buy such pieces straight from the manufacturing supply, certification is recommended to guarantee gemstone authenticity.
The expression"goth" or "ancient" has many meanings: Germanic people of the early Christian era (Goth/Gothic), an unrefined or barbaric individual, or even a follower of a particular type of music and fashion. Gothic stone is an alternative sub-genre which developed after punk in the 1970s. Religious motifs, particularly Celtic crosses and ankh signs are popular gothic motifs. Very similar to rock design, these may be worn out as occult symbols. Gothic rock is characterized by darkness, introspection and romanticism. Typical goth styles are pale skin, kohl-lined eyes, dark clothes, hair and nail polish, and red or dark lips. The clothes could be seen as a mix of Victorian, Vampire films and punk style. Colours favored by goths include deep red, electric blue, purple and green. Lace and velvet are very popular fabrics when it comes to goth-style clothing.
Gothic style Isn't all about Death and darkness, goths also adopt romanticism, particularly the 18th century literary and art movement, which focused on intense emotion, and includes the poetry of William Wordsworth, Lord Byron and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. These merge terror with romanticism. Such functions may be the inspiration for gothic style, which combines the medieval with romanticism and terror, using motifs such as bats, skulls and roses. In reality, improved motifs can be frequently seen in ancient jewelry, whether they're carved diamonds, enamel work or metal. These may be black, red or another color and therefore are attractive when used as necklace pendants, earrings or in bracelets.
Filigreed silver designs are popular goth-style jewellery items. Filigree is intricate metalwork that is made by twisting silver or gold wire and soldering it, making it appear like lace. While filigreed jewellery was created for over 2000 years, it became popular in Europe during the era; the period of the development of the"gothic novel". Filigree jewelry takes several forms, such as necklace earrings, rings and bracelets, where a central bead is surrounded by delicate metalwork.
Chokers, such as those worn by Queen Victoria are among the favorite gothic necklace fashions. Chokers can be made from metal or might simply be a ribbon using a brooch attached in the front. A popular Victorian design is really a ribbon choker with a cameo in the center, following the style of Queen Victoria. Mother-of-pearl and agate are substances often used for the carving of cameos. Alternately, obsidian and ruby-zoisite are intriguing and special alternatives for gemstone cameos. Ribbon chokers may be made more durable and appealing by procuring the ends into grip fittings. Since chokers are close-fitting, the throat of the wearer should be quantified before the length of the choker is decided. For people who do not enjoy cameos, opal, rutile quartz or other interesting cabochons could be a modern interpretation of this design. Color of selection, black alloy is suitable for gothic-style jewellery settings. The most affordable solution is shameful rhodium-plated jewellery, but that can be subject to wear and tear, and might require replating from time to time. When it comes to black diamonds, there are quite a few choices. Jet was a popular gemstone during the Victorian era, when mourning jewelry was worn and was carved into cameos and other contours. However, this is not very durable and also not widely available nowadays. Some good examples of affordable black lady stones are black tourmaline, black spinel and melanite. When it comes to cabochons, agate, black star sapphire, cat's eye scapolite, celebrity garnet and jasper are suitable for black gemstone jewellery. With regard to black gemstone material that could be carved, black jade and onyx are possibilities.
While goths inhabit a particular Fashion niche, it is not essential to be regarded as a goth to enjoy the above mentioned jewelry. Goth-style jewelry may be an alternative embellishment to any outfit without engendering a particular stereotype. In reality, labels can split, but jewellery could be appreciated for its inherent beauty, as opposed to be worn to become part of a specific subculture. Thus, individuals who are pleased to be themselves ought to wear the jewelry, rather than letting the jewelry wear them.
It took The diamond industry a long time to set up the diamond engagement ring as an important part of the culture of marriage. In fact, that the De Beers consortium mounted a concerted decades-long advertising effort, beginning in the late 1930s, to firmly ensconce the association of diamonds with love, courtship and marriage, under the now familiar slogan"diamonds are forever". The effort was probably one of the most prosperous feats of social engineering in the 20th century.
More recently, On the other hand, the diamond ring tradition has started to weaken. Many couples have strayed in the tradition and began to look intently at coloured stone engagement rings instead. There seem to be many reasons for this. Another reason is that some consumers have become conscious that diamonds are now not rare and that the high costs are maintained by a cartel that controls the distribution and supply. Still another reason is that colorless diamonds do not show much individuality; they are in fact commodity products which are made by the millions. Unless you've got a whole lot of money, it's quite difficult to purchase a really unique diamond engagement ring. photo engraved necklace
Along with These reasons, an individual can't discount the effect of the famous blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring that Prince Charles gave to Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. His brother, Prince Andrew, continued the trend when he introduced with a'pigeon blood' ruby and pearl ring to Sarah Ferguson upon their participation in 1986. Consumers now had both pro and anti-establishment reasons to move them toward colored stone engagement rings.
The jewellery Industry has not been very effective in advertising colored stones for engagement rings, and undoubtedly the diamond industry has exerted pressure on the trade to keep retailers at the diamond camp. Thus many couples that select an engagement ring with a coloured gemstone do it as a job that entails selecting a rock and then a ring design and setting. The outcome is typically a truly personalized ring.
Since engagement Rings need to be very durable, the most popular colored stone for this objective Are sapphire and ruby, since they have exceptional hardness (9 on The Mohs scale) without a cleavage. Other good options include spinel, aquamarine and Some very popular Colored gems, such as tanzanite, are Not a good choice for engagement rings because of their lack of durability.wikipedia

The jewelry that you discover online could be rated as tricolor or trichroism jewelry because the stone shines like a rainbow but with simplest 3 shades. Stunning Transformation – The Brilliant development of a Butterfly I recently moved next to a milkweed plant, the one plant that monarch caterpillars devour. I have had the opportunity to watch these caterpillars turn into butterflies several times and were amazed by using the miracles held in this manner. The best Beauty, but, is the symbolism in all of it – and the endless possibilities that it could be translated into. The translation is endless.
I took a caterpillar into my home and saved it in a special caterpillar contraption designed only for this purpose. I desired my son to look the amazing method to open his thoughts about the unlimited opportunities of life. but, by using the stop of all of it, I realized I used to be only who changed into enraptured and enlightened with the aid of this natural procedure. It turned into one of the maximum interesting and Fantastic things I have ever seen. It was, even more, thoughts blowing that all of it occurred inside some weeks.
these caterpillars begin as eggs, almost invisible to the naked eye. Tiny dots are left on the plant to grow alone, with out the direct steerage of any parents. inside a few weeks, they grow over 2,000 times their authentic length. On occasion, there are many greater caterpillars than leaves on the plant. In these instances, it turns into “each man for himself” and those that devour first are most likely to continue to exist. They face now not handiest hunger, however also predators which include cats and birds, falling down and getting stepped on, curious youngsters, and bloodless weather. If they make it beyond all of these obstacles, they attain a stage wherein they devour distinctly big amounts of leaves for some days to store meals for his or her transformation. Then they climb into a gap the consider could be the most secure to go into a country just like hibernation wherein they’re paralyzed for about ten days. First, they grasp the other way up for an afternoon or so in a “J” shape. They connect with a chunk of silk-looking string that looks to be extraordinarily delicate. As they dangle, they tear through their layer of skin that they have got outgrown to uncover a light inexperienced milky substance, which hardens right into a chrysalis. At some point of the tearing, it looks like something is ingesting them and that they pulsate very strongly. inside a half of hour, the caterpillar has come to be a complete unique searching being.
This is the factor While my caterpillar fell down from the top. He had simply torn thru his vintage caterpillar pores and skin While he hit to floor. He becomes now unable to transport and no longer hanging. I felt so helpless as I saw him fall to the floor, wondering what he needs to be feeling as he became unable to transport. It was a huge lesson for me to consider in the procedure. This has to take place all of the time in nature, I thought. This has to be why there are typically such a lot of caterpillars so that a number of them make it all of the manner. Nonetheless, my heart had grown attached to this infant and that I desired to peer it thru. every other First-rate part of this procedure turned into knowing how one “small” situation ought to interrupt the development and produce it to a stop. most effective the most decided caterpillars who are blessed with an alignment of all of the right situations could make it through this metamorphosis.
I researched on the net and it regarded that this became common. It said that the nice opportunity for his complete improvement turned into for me to re-grasp him with the aid of tying a string across the vintage skin, which has now fashioned some sort of stump. It endorsed that I have to wait until the inexperienced casing had dried which could be tomorrow. In that time a small gold line and gold dots appeared on the out of doors; they look like actual gold. I can not say I can do not forget ever being so terrified in my existence. I failed to understand I would be so scared, however, once I had this valuable existence in my arms (so actually), I felt a super responsibility to do an amazing activity. After patience, braveness, and backbone, the caterpillar turned into hanging once more. For over every week it appeared as is nothing is occurring, there has been no sizeable trade to this inexperienced placing object. Then right away the casing seemed to turn clean, revealing black and orange butterfly wings internal! looking intently, the pattern of the wings could be visible.
an afternoon or so later this clear shell-like casing cracked open and a completely unique looking being came out! It’s miles breathtaking to recognize how a great deal these cells have rearranged inside into a totally new shape. I cannot provide an explanation for the excitement and renewed power I felt to peer the butterfly! The body looks not anything like it did as a green and black striped caterpillar. It’s far now black with white dots with one-of-a-kind antenna and legs altogether. The wings came out wrinkled up in the beginning. The butterfly had to crawl returned up to the top in which it fell from its cocoon. At the same time as hanging the wrong way up, blood surged into the edges of the wings, letting them fully enlarge. He batted them to and fro, studying to apply these huge units of flight. I left him for numerous hours to make sure this part of the system changed into executed nicely as the functionality to fly is so important for butterflies.
After making it through all this, the butterfly now had the opportunity to fly. It needed to learn how to maneuver with its massive wingspan. I unfolded the door of it’s domestic and expected it to fly approximately, however, he did not circulate for pretty a while. a whole new degree of his lifestyles has just begun.
It became so difficult to Let this butterfly pass as soon as it changed into prepared to fly. I neglected him for several days, Yet it become so releasing to offer him his ultimate existence – freedom to satisfy his life motive and to roam Earth. In this kind of short period, I had grown very fond of my little Beautiful buddy.
