Storybook Alicorns work differently than regular Alicorns. In the Storybook world they will be in their original form, activating their Alicorn form when they use their powers, while in the real world of ponies they are always in their Alicorn form.

Crayon Prints 🔎 Host of connection

Crayon Prints was born a pegasus and his alicorn powers first appeared when Blue first skidoo into Storybook World. Though it seems like a small thing, it's what brought the ability to skidoo (believed as being long lost) back to the Storybook Ponies.

His cutie mark first appeared after his first Blue's Clues' game, But it took him a while to know the true meaning.

Tender Box 🎁 Host of creativity

Sometimes a wise alicorn, sometimes a chaotic earth pony, always a kind and trusting stallion that owns a Present Store that sells almost anything. Tender Box was born as a (chaos magic) earth pony his alicorn powers first appeared after he accidentally created his own skidoo world and was able to solve the riddle of the place to return to their home.

His cutie mark when he made a "perfect" present for his brother Crayon Prints for his birthday when he was stressed with college. Unlike most ponies, it first appeared during his adult life, funny enough, he became an Alicorn before his cutie mark appeared.

Starry Dusk 🎸 Host of Inspiration

The youngest of the three hosts, a unicorn with gigantic hidden magical potential and the dream of becoming a singer. Starry Dusk alicorn powers first appeared after he undid an accidentally cast spell that prevented a village of sentient musical instruments from creating music. Not using his unicorn magic, but helping them to reorganize their sounds to create a new non-traditional kind of music.  

His cutie mark first appeared when sang for the first time in front of his friends of the yellow house during his childhood. The star is because Mr Salt called him a star for them first time that day

Sofia the First AU where Cedric has had enough of people's lack of faith in his capabilities and just...gives up.

What's the point of practicing magic if no one will believe in your ability to practice it? If they'll just make fun of you for it, and compare you to your father? When even your own family ridicules you? The path of sorcery has brought him nothing but pain, and he doesn't want anything to do with it anymore.

He resigns from his position of royal sorcerer (King Roland is only too glad to let him go) and leaves the castle. He probably settles down in Dunwiddie. All he has remaining from his life as a sorcerer is a wand in case of emergencies.

Now that he's no longer a royal sorcerer, he decides to figure out something else to do. He tries out various jobs of all kinds, finding a new path.

Doing everything without magic is difficult. He's frequently tempted to use the emergency wand and make his life easier. But he resists, telling himself he has given up on that life entirely. He persists without magic, and eventually it does get easier.

He misses his old life often, remembering all the wonderful things he could do with magic. But then he remembers the disrespect, the ridicule, and he tells himself that it's better this way.

this is just some ideas i have, nothing finished yet, but :3

Cross getting turned into a vampire, hiding that fact from the village he lived in. Starving himself for days until hunger hit him. He thought drinking the blood of an animal would satisfy him but it didn't. He was still so hungry.

Idk if i'm allowed to go into detail here on tumblr so i'll cut it short n say that Cross ended up killing the entire village put of pure hunger. He held it back so long he couldn't anymore, at the end he was sitting on the floor crying, hugging the body of his dead brother close, sobbing bitterly.

Cross got a little spooked when he felt a gentle but unfamiliar hand on his shoulder, he hugged his brother closer, letting out a soft sob "i.. i killed them all.." he muttered, gently pushing his face into his brother whilst holding him tightly. "you can come with me, i can make you feel better" the figure behind him said softly, almost comforting. cross refused to look at the person behind him, not wanting to hurt them as well. The person sighed, telling him he know how he feels, assuring him that it wasn't cross' fault for what he did.

ayayyaya to be continued until i figure out the rest :p

i had the brush set too small at first & didnt realize until i was already too far along- full body diamond authority is ok w the shaded fit & wings but the headshot is just. eh. kinda dislike it. im fucking obsessed with the other headshot tho

giyuu's a lapis along w tsutako, normal lapis terraforming job but some shit went down, tsutako got shattered, giyuu was left to fend for herself until she ran into a lost kunzite fresh out the ground (she had a slight imperfection, showed up as a spot along her cheek (corner of mouth to center base of ear) that looks like raw kunzite/ yk when a helmet or somethn gets shaved down sliding against a road? that)

they tough it out in the wilds for a while, they got attacked and accidentally fused to defend themselves, kept fusing when they were in trouble after that- yadda yadda meet makomo (also a gem) & sakonji and learn how to be their own person, getting their own names (giyuu got Giyuu, the kunzite got Sabito) and meeting a group of other rogue gems & making human friends

sabito got particularly interested in the concept of human masculinity & highly respected the closest man she knew, sakonji- transed his gender & chose to dedicate himself to protecting those he cares about. giyuu is very close to him and also changed pronouns & vibes bc sabito loved it so much, though he doesnt really care about human perceptions of gender (hes a pretty rock made of light, the fuck does he need a gender for? (sabito doesnt see it that way, he never got indoctrinated/had a formal gem education or whatever, so hes just vibin))

something something giyuu found a way to precisely control water, and what is ice if not Structured Water. sabito never got whatever his job as a kunzite was, but he has a similar ability as Pearl where hes able to summon a blade from his gem (rectangular cut, back of his left hand). when theyre fused they become Hawk's Eye (also know as blue tiger's eye), able to both control water(& subsequently ice) and form blades along his arms and feet; the blades on his feet allow him to ice skate, the blades on his arms are attached at two points on the forearm and is curved over the hand- the blade's allowed to spin around the arm, tip of the blade is at the point of rotation so itll be in the same spot above the hand no matter what side of the arm its on

SO I was trying to draw if scourge was in the idw comics and accidentally made an au in my head where he’s actually the first bio experiment like surge and kit but instead he was made by eggman which inspired starline to make surge and kit, except eggman is remorseful of what he did and sees it as a step too far in a rare case of humanity, when he realized this scourge ends up going off to I don’t know until surge and kit get created, but yeah I don’t have it all sorted out yet n I feel like their redesigns need to be just a little more original but I love their colors tbh n im yappin so yuh also super forms!!

i’ve never been super happy with how i color mari, decided to do a little test to shake off some art block

i like the ‘fixed’ coloring more as it’s just. pleasing on the eyes i guess?? and i like having small color differences for my au designs so im happy with mariblanc and feline blue designs :)
