Rustic Robin Rendezvous

American Robins (Turdus migratorius) are another species that I haven't seen this year, though I know that they are around because I've picked their songs up on the Merlin app.

Robins are popular birds for their warm orange breast, cheery song, and early appearance at the end of winter. Nature’s Duet

I am probably mistaken, but I think that I recognize this house finch (Haemorhous mexicanus) couple. It is amazing how many birds that I see showing up as mated pairs. Not just house finches, but cardinal, cowbirds, and woodpeckers as well.
