I've put it more thoughts and decided to hc Javik's age in human years at max 25 due solely to his military rank.
#My dad retired early in his 40s and he was at the us equivalent of a colonel so#I know it's rule of cool but technically speaking entrusting such an important mission to a middle-aged commander doesn't make much sense#That would imply Javik had been deemed as too incompetent to be promoted lol but he's the top priority of the mission#So another implication is that he was deemed an excellent asset despite his rank#He's just an angsty millennial angry at the world around him and depressed#during war time excellent soldiers also get promoted quicker so if Javik's#just a commander he must be very young#The exemplar of the prothean's virtue of vengeance#Bioware loves the title commander but I'm willingingly ignore it for the sake of my hc :>#Would explain his pride of his people and how open minded he actually is when he learns better#mass effect#javik
