‘Nothing about us will ever be proper,’ she said. She tilted her face up to his. So close now it was as if they were already touching. 'Not the way we met. Not the life we lead. And not the way we kiss.’

Legit, I met @lbardugo in this outfit and I’m so alive. Thank you, Queen, for giving me this gift. A character who looks and behaves like me. I am forever grateful for this gorgeous Grisha babe.

{Viktor Wig WIP}
Battlin’ Kay here, with a wig WIP for my Yuri!! On Ice cosplay.
First of all, this was a waiting game, since the wig had to be back-ordered (yikes!) But, luckily, Arda restocks pretty quickly. This wig in particular is Blue Steele in Light Grey (CL-081). I chose it, mainly because it would give me the look I wanted for the least amount of fuss.
The Tools:
A hair dryer
A flat iron
Water Wax
Got2Be glued hair spray (super crucial, honestly)
Hair scissors
T-pins
Clips
The Process:
T-pin your wig in place at the temples, the nape, and at the hairline where you wish for the part to be. Play with it until you get the desired effect.
Comb your wig, then begin to trim the larger section. Bear in mind the size and shape of your face. Wig heads are usually smaller and might lead you to cut the hair too short. If you can, I recommend trying the wig on beforehand and marking the length with bobby pins. I cut this wig with layers and on a slight angle.
Take the smaller section of hair, give it one even spray, and tease at the base. Use the dryer on lowest setting. Style up and back, detailing the pieces with water wax and spray.
Repeat the teasing process on the other set of bangs, using the straightener afterwards to assure the proper shape of the hair.
After that, it’s all a matter of fiddling and trimming. Once you get the look you’d like, spray all over and  dry on low (or let dry naturally.)
And that’s that! He’d a very fancy gent and I can’t wait to wear it :D
Total Time: 2-3 hours.
