Adventure Partners!
Tumblr media
Since It's my AU, I guess I have to do my own art! (even if I don't manage to reach the shading part of it cause I'm tired)
Here you have the Bermudas Duo: Tails the Fox and Kyo the Tanuki, ready to kick some henchmans and Mythic monsters in the Bermudas Triangle Islands!
For those who doesn't know, this AU is about Tails going into a Cruise vacation to the Bahamas and ending in the Bermuda Triangle with the very same Mercenary that was payed to target him (good for him that she is more scared of Sonic that from losing her pay).
Now both are in for quite an adventure to save the day!

Balmy Latitudes
I’m sailing the summer wind I’ve got whiskers on my chin And I like the mood I’m in As I while away the time of day… ~~Gordon Lightfoot “Christian Island” You’ll have to move your stool closer, Gloria. I need to multitask right now. I’m making notes on a new blog and, while talking to you, I have to filter out the ‘music’ being piped in about six feet above my head. I will never understand…

MINORS DNI 18+ WARNINGS: fem reader | drugs, alcohol | mild sexual content, suggestive | calls u a slut | cliffhanger i suppose | been stuck in my drafts since january.
RAFE CAMERON had the house to himself, and he made sure to tell you that too. Something about a family vacation to the Bahamas, and he chose to stay behind. You didn't consider the fact he did it to feel like the king of Figure Eight for a little while until he told you, "The fuck are you wearing, huh? Where's that little number I just bought you? Go put it on. I want you walking around here like a slut."
So you put on the stringiest bikini you've ever seen in your life, and the tallest pumps you've ever worn, swirling whatever drink he poured you in an expensive wine glass. You come out to the balcony to witness him arranging himself a line on the transparent coffee table, and he doesn't notice you there when curls over to snort it. You've seen him do it before, but you note now how experienced he is in it. Briefly, you consider how frequently he does this, and set down your beverage.
"Hey, baby," he greets with an uncharacteristically bright drawl, smiling at you. You're familiar with his exceptional good mood from the rush, tingly energy coursing through his nerves after dousing his brain in pure dopamine. He stands, offering a steadying hand to you in which you take, leading you into him. You brace on his chest, "You look fucking good." he compliments, giving you a quick once-over with a soft growl through his nose, and catches you in a kiss. "C'mere, lemme finish this." He sits, but you stand next to him, watching him as he uses a credit card— no doubt his per diem— while he lives here alone.
He can't keep his eyes off you, glancing up at you, tonguing his parted lips hungrily.
"Baby, fuck." he breathes, reaching around to hook an arm around your hips, arching you into him so he can mouth at your exposed stomach. On instinct, you squeal, cupping his head and tangling your fingers in his silken hair as he tongues sensitive skin. Tracing the lines of your tummy with the tip, he then ends it in a bite, and a sharp swat to your ass. Another growl expels from him in a hum, pressing his lips together.
"Rafe—" you stifle a chuckle, massaging his scalp with the set of nails he bought you.
"C'mere, baby, want you over here." he tells you, holding your hand like a waltz as he directs you over to take your rightful seat on his thigh. At this proximity you can feel his body heat radiate off his face and neck, a light sheen of sweat from the humidity. You're grateful for your lack of clothes, especially because of how he clutches onto you, as if he's subtly feeling out the curves of your body while it's molded to his. An arm strapped behind your back has a hand comfortably resting on the fat of your hip that fans out from sitting, lovingly he squeezes the flesh, and jostles you as he inclines toward your ear, like he's telling you a secret. "Wanna know what I'm thinking about right now?"
Coyly, you bite your lower lip in a grin. Not looking at him just yet as you reply, "What?" And while you speak, a single finger of his reaches out to dip into the line of coke he poured himself earlier, streaking the white powder across the glass as he brings it back to him.
That finger points to the valley of your tits, "Snorting this shit off of you." and makes contact, dusting you with the drug. You watch as he dips his fingertip into his mouth to rub it on the gum of his lower jaw, and then dive in to lick the dot of coke off your skin. You lean back, but he's secured you to his lap, safe to kick your little pumps into the air as you giggle.
"Rafey— Rafe, c'mon," you flirt, but he continues on. An onslaught of sloppy kisses disheveling the straps of your bikini top as he mouths your chest, tugging the practically nonexistent triangles that cover your nips aside. Gathering your bearings, you direct him off, so you can fix your outfit, but when he straightens he manhandles you to pin your back to the couch he's been sitting on. Playfully, you fight him, but he snatches your wrists.
"Hold still." he demands, and you can't help but listen to him. Batting your lashes up at him, he holds that doe-eyed gaze of yours as he fishes a little baggy off the table. You stare at it as he tucks it between the two of you, and he watches your reaction through his slow movements until he tips it and taps the mouth of it with his index to pour a misshapen line across your stomach.

The lighthouse, Great Isaac Cay, Bahamas: A haunted lighthouse? The Great Isaac Lighthouse sits atop a coral island in the middle of the so-called Bermuda Triangle. It lies about 20 miles NNE of Bimini, Bahamas. Originally built as an exhibit in 1852 for the Great London Exposition, it was later shipped in pieces to Great Isaac Cay in 1859. Multiple ghosts are said to haunt the site. It’s said that during the construction of the light, a supply ship wrecked off the cay and all were saved but one young boy who was devoured by sharks, and some have reported seeing his poor soul wandering the cay.

omg.. for the holidays, the olba poly boys and mc go on a nice cruise together. cove is at the food places 24/7 derek is swimming and playing the sports stuff, baxter is taking those dance classes with mc. please hear me out.
Oh how fun!!!
-- Lollllll Cove at the food places, you know he would! He's going to have a bellyache the whole time.
-- Except he won't because Derek is there, and Derek is going to tell him to take it easy. He also packed some tummy meds too because he knows how Cove is and everyone saw his coming a mile away.
-- Personally I love sporty Cove, so he'd also take some time to play stuff with Derek. You and Baxter like to watch Cove and Derek be sporty together, so that's a fun activity for you guys too!
-- It doesn't even have to be on the cruise, like Derek asks Cove if he wants to go kick around a soccer ball one afternoon, and you and Baxter don't even have to be invited, you just start packing a few things and they're like "???" but then you get to the park together and you and Baxter just set up a blanket and some snacks near the field.
-- What if Derek convinces Baxter to try a sporty thing with him because it's a cruise and it's a special occasion?! You're out on the ocean with a bunch of strangers, no one is going to know Baxter. It'll be fine if he borrows a little athletic shirt (well, it's little on Derek, pretty fitted, but it'll hang on Baxter) and some shorts (Derek is going to have to help him tie that drawstring tight, he is skinny boy) and does an activity.
-- I pulled up an itinerary, looks like some cruises have mini golf too! Everyone can play mini golf! Baxter is going to cheat though, so keep an eye on him.
-- Or you probably don't need to, because Cove will. And if he catches him then boy is he going to be in trouble.
-- Also it looks like most cruises that leave from California go somewhere in Mexico, so that's fun! You can go to an island! Forget the buffets (for just a moment, anyway), this is Cove's favorite place.
-- Oh man you're on some island, not your usual beach in Sunset Bird, and it's such a magical experience. Everyone is feeling extra happy and cozy, and Baxter lets Cove take him out a little farther in the ocean than he usually does.
-- Derek is taking pictures, he's got a little waterproof thing for his phone.
-- Everybody's sitting on the beach, taking it in, feeling all romantic, and Baxter goes, "If you were a mermaid, what would you want to look like?"
Cove: *explains with not a single nanosecond of hesitation*
You and Derek: *secret fist bump*
-- Baxter is going to be dancing with all three of you and he's going to be the happiest guy in the world.
-- Did he make everybody pack their formal clothes? You already know he did.
-- You know when you go on a trip with a group and there's always that one person that knows everything that's going on and has a schedule and tries to stick with it? That's Derek. Make him let loose.
-- It's such a special experience, you decide to make going on cruises a semi-regular thing!
Derek: Maybe next time we can fly out to the east coast and do one in the Bahamas or something!
Cove: And get lost in the Bermuda triangle? No thanks.
You: Cove, I don't think that's --
Cove: No.
Baxter: Perhaps an Alaskan cruise? See the northern lights?
Cove: *scoffs* Yeah, we'll go on vacation and get eaten by bears, Baxter, sounds like a blast.
Derek: ... We could do this cruise again.
Cove: *smug* Now you're talking.

Ugly Betty Reawatch update: currently on ep 8×4 The Bahamas Triangle. Love Daniel and Marc's bonding time so much. Would kill to see how those two would try to organize a wedding while Betty is doing some important business stuff. Everyone would totally assume that they're a couple and at some point they just would go with it.

Histoire
On y compte environ 45 000 habitants à l’année.

55 years ago today (Sept 2, 1968) divers discovered the Bimini Road, which is sadly not part of the lost Atlantis. But you can read all about Phantom Islands and get writing prompts on my Weird Wednesday blog!
Atlantis: no survey of phantom islands can be complete without this most famous of lost lands. The idea of Atlantis, an island (or continent) with an advanced society, which sank beneath the waves in a great catastrophe, traces back to Plato, and was probably always fictional. That hasn’t stopped people from looking for it, and putting it on maps pretty much anywhere there’s enough water to cover it. To my mind, one of the most interesting pieces of the Atlantis saga is the Bimini Road, which is a natural geological feature that resembles a human-made stone road. It was discovered beneath the sea near the Bahamas, close to (or by some sources in) the Bermuda Triangle. Some claim it’s part of Atlantis itself.
Check out the blog post for more and some mysterious writing prompts, such as:
Putting the phantom in phantom island. Perhaps a certain island is a gathering place for phantoms of all kinds: ghosts of the drowned from vessels lost in the area, sea monsters, wormholes through space/time, zombies, or demons. Perhaps someone has literally cursed the place, or maybe it’s the site of an evil relic or graveyard of the damned. It could even be the home port of the ghost ship Flying Dutchman.

Thunders and foxes
Ohh you bet I won't play with the power of knowing that Tails is afraid of thunders...
Just think about it, the little one, in the middle of the ocean in a tiny boat just in the eye of a thunderstorm... And of course, there's no Sonic to help this time.

During 1691, Jack Teague was born during a typhoon aboard a pirate ship. Named after the brother of his father, Edward Teague, Jack grew up without his unknown mother amid the seafaring outlaws at Shipwreck Cove on Shipwreck Island. Not eager to be yet another crewmate, Jack Teague insisted on one day becoming a captain of his own vessel. After serving as a cabin boy, he would find himself the captain of the Barnacle, a small fishing boat that had been left abandoned at Salty Cove on the island of Tortuga.
After a bout of adventures around the Gulf of Mexico, the Grand Barnacle would be destroyed in a confrontation with the English Royal Navy by cannonfire intended for Edward Teague’s ship, the Misty Lady.
After many more adventures, Jack would later find himself as a crewmember of the Wicked Wench, under the captaincy of Captain Morgan (not to be confused with the buccaneer and later governor of Port Royal of the same name), when they would be confronted by Capitan Armando Salazar around 1711. Salazar had been in command of the Spanish galleon, Silent Mary, and had been putting effort into the extermination of pirates in the West Indies out of vengeance for his father and grandfather who had perished at the hands of pirates. The battle would take place near the Devil’s Triangle west of the Windard Isles in the Lesser Antilles, and would see the Silent Mary destroyed as she ran aground a collection of rocks shortly after entering the triangle while in pursuit of the Wicked Wench - a result of actions spurred on by Jack “the Sparrow.” For a while, Jack found himself elected captain of the vessel, as their captain had perished in the confrontation.
Some time later, Jack no longer found himself aboard the Wicked Wench, as he had been press-ganged into service aboard a French brigantine named La Vipere, captained by Christophe-Julien de Rapier. Not long after, he had been left at sea in a longboat with fellow crewmate Robert Greene. Upon reaching dry land again, the duo began working for the East India Trade Company for five years, and Jack served as first mate aboard the brig Fair Wind. In 1716, after taking control of the Fair Wind, defending her from pirates, Jack Sparrow was offered captaincy of the merchant vessel Wicked Wench (which had apparently fallen into EITC hands by this point) by an impressed Lord Cutler Beckett, who was a director of the company regarding West Africa.
After a number of voyages on behalf of the East India Trading Company, Jack had been ordered to deliver a cargo of enslaved Africans to New Avalon in the Bahamas. Jack however despised the idea of humans being deemed as cargo and instead freed them, stealing Beckett’s ship. Shortly afterwards, a number of vessels were dispatched to capture the pirate Jack Sparrow, and before long he found himself imprisoned.
Months later, Jack would be brought to the coast of West Africa and be branded upon his arm with a “P” labeling him forever as a pirate. Just off the shore, he was made to watch as the Wicked Wench was torched. Breaking free from his captors, he swam for the ship but found himself trapped within her cabins as she sank beneath the waves.
Jack Sparrow found himself somewhere between life and death, on the path to Davy Jone’s Locker or the Land of the Dead. There, a deal was struck with Davy Jones that if Jones would raise his ship, after thirteen years he would forfeit his captaincy and serve onboard Jones’ ship, the Flying Dutchman. The blackened, charred ship would rise above the waves once more and be renamed the Black Pearl.
Two years later, in 1718, Jack would have Hector Barbossa aboard the Black Pearl, naming him first mate in a voyage to search for Aztec gold that had been stashed by Cortes. Prior to its discovery, the crew mutinied, an act which Barbossa spurred into being. Jack was marooned on a desert island, and Barbossa claimed captaincy of the Black Pearl.
Jack Sparrow would escape his solitude on the desert isle, and sail the seas having many more adventures over the next 11 years, until Jones would later reappear to him in 1729.

While everyone continues to watch all these train derailments and waiting to see if there's anymore weather balloons & ufo's in the sky.... Nobody is talking about what happened last Saturday on March 4th. It was heard by multiple people on police scanners across Florida that a small ship carrying 100 people disappeared after accidentally shifting over to the Bermuda Triangle. Now I live near Miami and I heard this rumor going around on Sunday and Monday. That same night there was a few residences in the Bahamas that seen what looked like big green ball of lightning and bolts dancing on the sea in the distance. There is no news reporting or anything about it either but not everything you hear on a police scanner is always on the news. But you would think something like this they would. Some say it was a military training exercise. Bullshit.
With everything going on in the world, at this point, I am waiting for the beast with seven heads, ten horns and ten crowns to rise up out of the sea & the trumpets blare through the galaxy to take me home. Earth is not fun anymore. I don't think it's been fun since the late 90s.
Hm has been a awhile since the triangle been feed a sacrifice
