Only thing making me excited for Mein is the OST. Love it. Time will tell if it’s a typical love story or if wahaj and ayeza have good chemistry. Hard to tell from the teaser. Big bang is known for its wonderful OSTs, visually stunning teasers but then the drama is such a let down. Mujhe Pyaar Howa Tha being a prime example of that.

Not to mention Wahaj Ali’s character Zaid seems like it’s going to be Saad in a suit living in Murtasim’s haveli. I hope I’m wrong and that the show and chemistry of the leads is refreshing rather than repetitive story telling. Haven’t seen ayeza’s other work so this will be a first for me, and fresh outta tere bin and yumna’s spell binding chemistry with wahaj, Mein might be a hard sell, but I’m holding out hope still. This pairing can’t be worse than Yumna and Humayun in the Gentleman coming up soon too.

Tere bin has effectively ruined expectations in terms of chemistry when it comes to wahaj and Yumna for me lol. How will I unsee murtasim in that haveli living as zaid and in love with someone else besides meerab ? How ? 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Mein off to an intriguing start. Best bit is the ost, background score, MJ’s character and style. Wish they had hired a better actress who plays Ayra - no chemistry with Wahaj. Hoping the Ayeza Wahaj chemistry works better. It doesn’t look like a love story, more like a hate story with a match made in hell, but the characters are fascinating. Always love when Pakistani dramas create unconventional stories.
