no. 1 - forgotten enemies masterlist
Tumblr media
the sun filters through the thick canopy above you, slivers of light shining through your car's sunroof. it bounces over your car seats and peeks through the space between you and your sunglasses. 'til the summertime, forgive my northern attitude, "oh i was raised on little light.."
you sing along to the song on the radio, fingers tapping against the steering wheel. everything seems so familiar as you picture what it looked like when you were younger. except the budding trees are higher than your car now and the ponds are a little wider. even the tree line has widen some as the roads are fixed of their cracks.
bought some shit you searched online- your finger searches for the mute button, eyes wide at the sight of the cabin. it's certainly not as you remember it being. the dilapidated cabins are fixed up and harboring blue painted roofs. the paths are paved with sand and rock and there's a climbing wall not too far from the entrance.
even with everything changing, you can still see the large sign at the front of the camp. the blue signage still looking the same, just slightly cleaner. little balloons are tied to the sides for the grand reopening after a couple years closed. from what you can remember in the email, it was closed for something weird that went down a year after you left.
however, wondering about the past and how your formative years could've changed if your camp time had been different was not something you wanted to endure. instead, you just step out of the car and take in a deep breath of the fresh mountain air. your thoughts quickly flicker to your bag in your trunk and baseball cap in the passenger side.
you open the trunk and grab your duffel bag, throwing the handle over your shoulder. as you turn around to open the passenger side door and grab your cap, you can hear a car driving down the concrete path. out of the corner of your eye, it's a jeep-like car. great for the wilderness with some terrible inside atmosphere.
before you can even shut your door and head towards the camp, their car door is opening. the sounds of flip flops hitting the parking lot sends your head swerving around to see who has arrived. the yellow-ish hair is the first thing you spot, besides the obnoxious aviators he's sporting. atsumu miya.
a name nor a person that you had thought about in a while. especially when all you wanted that year was to forget that very same face. the only thing seemingly different is the light scruff and the stronger jawline. a part of you wants to forget everything the two of you fought over, simply because he takes some of your breath away. however, you know better, knowing that he only brings you pain.
so you pull your hat on, turning around and shutting the door so maybe he won’t see you too. that he won’t give you some snide remark about all of the years that he excelled above you. however, something else entirely occurs that sends you reeling.
just as you’re walking towards the camp sign, the sound of his loud flip flops echo through your ears, him jogging towards you, “are you another counselor here?”
“uh- yeah. yeah, i am,” you look over at him for a moment, wondering if this is him winding up to some joke or tease, “this is my first year as a counselor, l/n y/n.”
he snaps his fingers, nodding his head as soon as he hears your name. “right, yeah, we had cabins near each other, didn’t we? sorry, i don’t remember much of my time here. but it was great to see you again,” atsumu shrugs his shoulders, hurrying past you to get to the mess hall.
you narrow your eyes in his direction, wondering how he can’t remember you. for a second, you simply wonder if you’re petty and vindictive. holding onto a grudge from years ago when he’s clearly pushed past any memory of the torture he put you through. you shake your head and continue to the mess hall to meet up with the other counselors, hoping that your friends would already be there.

ok hello everyone. i'm making a post to show you all my glasses frames options so i can hear people's opinions but i am going to put the pictures under the cut so you don't have to look at 12 pictures of me in the wide open. take note that these were taken with the goal of efficiency over flattery. i am looking for daily wear frames AND sunglasses so keep that in mind. the frames with tinted lenses were only available as sunglasses but i selected the lightest opacity when available. ok let me know what you think
first we start off with my actual glasses because i did find the same pair of frames online and they are always available as a fall-back. i do like them a lot. you'll notice these are all aviators because i think that style is very fun for me. also i didn't fix my skin in these because i didn't feel like editing all these pictures so um. sorry
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
really funny that i switched sides and didn't notice. these are taken like a week apart bc the second shipment took longer to come. i have my favorites but i shan't say so as not to influence you all. also some of them are tight on my huge wide head & some are really lopsided but i wanted to include all the options anyway. ok that's all bye

Mother Superion barely had time to assess the large coat, the expensive hat and the aviator sunglasses all bunched up together into a messy pile located at the edge of her own desk when Jillian noticed her entrance.
“You’re alone?” She asked by way of greeting, peeping behind the nun’s back to make sure. “We should best close the door.”
“And ciao to you too, dottoressa,” Superion replied dryly, watching as Jillian went on to lock them in after looking outside for any other nuns strolling in the corridor.
“You’ll understand my bluntness in a second.” Jillian returned to her companion, gave her an apologetic peck on the lips and soon produced a magazine which she put into Superion’s hands. “You should take a look at this.”
It was a thin little rag, the sort that printed more low-quality paparazzi pictures than it did any sort of meaningful text—when there were any words to go along with the images, typos and grammatical mistakes abounded throughout the extravagant theories “explaining” the ins and outs of the love lives of all sorts and ranks of celebrities, from international movie stars to barely significant internet phenomena boasting of a couple thousand followers online.
Mother Superion might have wondered how and why a woman such as Jillian Salvius would ever have any such dreck in her possession had she not at once recognised what the low-quality paparazzi photograph chosen for that particular issue’s cover revealed: it was an aerial shot, likely the product of a snooping drone, which had captured an inner patio of Jillian’s house—and both of them, Jillian and Mother Superion herself, featured in it, standing suspiciously close together as the nun’s hand stroked the renowned scientist’s cheek.
“This has been out for only some two hours and it is making a hell of a lot of noise already. My PR staff are going completely mad. ArqTech’s social media accounts are being bombarded with either accusations of hypocrisy on my part, secretly seducing the church in the background while fighting it in public, or celebratory messages about ‘crushing the patriarchy of a decadent institution’ through ‘full contact sisterhood’ or something like it. Dozens of extremely suggestive emojis are sprinkled throughout in both kinds.”
Jillian said all this with a wealth of gestures, drawing abstract, nervous shapes in the air, squinting her eyes at every word, as if they stung her tongue with each absurd syllable that escaped her lips.
Suzanne looked down at the magazine again, flipping through some of its pages. A couple more of blurry or pixelated images where she and Jillian could barely be made out adorned a page with a single column of text in a large font over a red background that would make anyone’s eyes water; she couldn’t read the speculation contained therein.
She could likewise not speak her mind on the matter, as Jillian continued her tirade.
“And there’s more, of course there’s more. I regret to inform you that you and I have been…" She grimaced. “Blorbofied. And please don’t ask me how I know that word.”
Mother Superion raised an inquisitive, insistent eyebrow nonetheless. Jillian sighed and submitted.
“… Camila,” she admitted.
The nun pinched the bridge of her nose.
“But what I mean to say is that the internet is simply abuzz with this. We’re being shipped. People are writing fanfiction about us. I don’t know if you know, but that’s when they tell stories—”
“I know what that means, Jillian.”
Catching her off-guard, Suzanne was the one moved to confess by another eyebrow raised high.
“Well, Xena fanfiction didn’t write itself in the nineties, you know.”
Jillian remained speechless for a few seconds more as she attempted to process the information of how the woman standing in front of her, who she had seen kill scores of malevolent men as well as writhe beneath her in pleasure, who wore a habit and a veil and prayed to God every day, was the same person who would write Xena fanfiction in the late nineties and post them on the internet—some of which might still be out there, somewhere.
On second thought, the whole killing men part did make quite a good deal of sense…
“If this has been out for only two hours, how are these people writing stories already?” Suzanne asked, rescuing her from her trance.
Jillian shook her head slightly, as if to dispel the thought of a young Suzanne writing stories of dubious merit and intentions in some corner of the convent when not absorbed by training.
“I don’t know. I haven’t read any—nor will I—but they even came up with a name. They’re calling us ‘doctor superion’.
The look she received as a reply was impenetrable. Jillian couldn’t tell whether Mother Superion despised it or was somehow amused by it.
“But that’s beside the point,” Jillian went on, rather exasperated at the possibilities, “because if I’m getting hell over this, what can it mean for you?”
She reached out to Suzanne’s hands, her touch scared, her eyes pleading.
“Can the Vatican take any sort of action against you? Have I put you in trouble again?”
“This will pass,” Suzanne said to comfort her, cupping her cheek. “You’re talking about the Catholic church. They didn’t even believe women could have any kind of sex for the longest time. They won’t read into a bad picture where I’m doing nothing more apart from touching your face.”
“And the gossip? The articles are multiplying online, the stories—”
“How many stories has the Church survived?”
“Suzanne, don’t fault me for saying this, but I don’t give a fuck about the Church surviving anything—it’s you I’m worried about. If my investors drop out now, I can always find others if I need to, but if they excommunicate you and tear you from the girls—”
“Jillian. I’ve been here for about twenty years. I’ve done worse than touch rich ‘heretic’ women’s faces and they know it. You know it,” she said, looking pointedly at her. “Stop worrying.”
The scientist relaxed, if somewhat against her will. She frowned soon after, however.
“… What do you mean by ‘worse’? How many other ‘worse’ things were you involved with?”
“… A conversation for another day. I think doctor superion has given you enough strong emotions for the time being.”
Jillian laughed despite herself. Mother Superion smiled seeing her unwind.
“I won’t hear the end of this anytime soon,” the owner of ArqTech pondered.
“Hence the detective disguise in coming here when it’s thirty degrees Celsius outside?”
“Well, I wouldn’t want to unwittingly inspire any more fanfics than are already being written, would I? They’d have a field day with it, no doubt… But are you very sure you won’t suffer any repercussions for this?”
Suzanne kissed her.
Jillian attempted to repeat her question, but she found that kissing Suzanne back was quite a balm to her burdened heart—after all, if there were consequences to face either way, might as well deserve them in full.
When they parted to catch their breath, Mother Superion offered her an idea.
“We can say you’ve had a revelation through me, a miracle conversion. Even the Vatican will be glad to hear of it, for once.”
“Excuse you, but I have known what I liked since very early on. You wouldn’t be able to convert me to anything,” Jillian replied with a smirk. She leaned in to kiss Suzanne again, but stopped short thanks to a thought. “Hold on. Did you already have a contingency plan at the ready in case anything like this should happen?”
Mother Superion shrugged lightly.
“I told you. Worse things. In this line of work, it’s always best to look ahead of yourself.”
“Well, I might just run with your version, then. If only to calm these people down for a time.”
“The writers won’t stop.”
“I know. They might go at it even more excitedly. But the public image of the company might still be salvaged.”
“I pray it will. You’re invited to service if you want to show off just how genuine your new quest for God is,” Superion provoked her.
“Please don’t make me,” Jillian said with a laugh, pulling her closer. “I think I prefer private prayer to this whole blasphemer-to-devoted-choirgirl-overnight AU.”
Suzanne chuckled and kissed her again, throwing the gossip magazine away.
“See? Don’t worry about the others. We can write our own story all by ourselves…”

two and a half weeks before Easter I had to fly to Taipei from Lower Matecumbe through Key West and San Francisco for family reasons. because of a key lime pie, some very aggressive desire to not impose, and a sword shaped key chain, along with a whole bunch of other mistakes, I didn't get to the airport far enough ahead of time and missed my flight. I then had to be driven from Key West to Fort Lauderdale, spend the night in tht brightest and noisiest airport on the face of the fucking planet,
Tumblr media
slept face down on my backpack on some chairs and woke up with the zipper pressed into my face.
I flew to San Francisco from Fort Lauderdale and wandered into a Sunglasses Hut, thinking,
"I wear my sunglasses all the time now, living in the Keys. I haven't had much money because of my shit, absolutely garbage job that doesn't pay me, plus missing this flight cost me a lot, and it's kind of expensive to have to fly to Taipei, better just try on."
I walk in and don't like any of the ones the saleswoman is giving me to try on. I want mirrored aviators. Ray-Bans. she clearly disagrees with the ones I want but reminds me that the second pair is $60 off with their current promotion. I tell her,
"hey thanks for showing me around I'm just going to order these online by myself"
and she hands me an ipad. "you want custom ones right?"
I don't see a way out and I think I've actually forgotten I was trying to escape? or probably I forgot I was trying to escape in order to save money. I remembered I wanted to leave and it seemed like the fastest way to get to leave the store was to just buy some sunglasses?
I don't remember why but she said some kind of customization wasn't available on the frames I chose but! the second pair is $60 off! so I could get a SECOND pair with a different frame but that customization it would be perfect. I remember tapping through the customization screen. I remember there was a couple in there looking at Gucci sunglasses with the other attendant. I remember waving my phone over the credit card reader? and almost leaving without my receipt.
I walk all the way to the curb and was ordering a Lyft home when I get a phone call? from the sunglasses hut. dazed, I pick up,
"hello?"
"hey this is Brenda from Sunglasses hut, ummm you live in San Francisco right, maybe I could ship your luggage to you?"
"oh, no, I'm still at the airport. I'm just outside, let me head towards the security gate so you can hand it to me"
"what?"
"you can just bring my suitcase to me, I'm still at the airport"
"oh okay good, you didn't leave because you knew you left your luggage right?"
"uh actually no, I didn't know at all"
"what the heck. you. you didn't know?
okay where are you? oh I see you I'll bring it out"
I'm like standing on the other side of the glass waving at her store and the security guy already glared at me once and barked, "hey no reentry"
she brought out my luggage and was so confused why I wasn't panicking or super grateful or anything. mostly I was tired as hell. at this point it had been well over 24 hours since I had left my bed in Lower Matecumbe.
I wandered around the underground parking garage for a little while, with my suitcase. frustrated that I couldn't find the designated share ride pickup area. turns out I went down instead of up at one point and ended up at the right place but four floors down.
The driver tries to make small talk with me and I decline. I tell my discord friends I may have accidentally spent $435 on two pairs of sunglasses that will arrive in my house in the Bay Area when I am still in Taipei.
the lyft takes over an hour to get to my house from the airport, I don't live in San Fransisco. I spend one nice day at home and then I take another Lyft back to the airport, and after a 12 hour flight, I have to deal with my family in Taiwan.
I don't want to talk about that part much. it was pretty harrowing. it was Good to see family I haven't seen in a really really long time. I was going to go back in 2021 but there was a travel restriction for Americans because we were handling the pandemic so badly.
I wasn't there for good reasons, really. but it was good to get a chance to say hi. I leave my electric toothbrush at the resort we stayed at. I call them and my aunt gives them her phone number and address so that she can mail it to California when they find it.
after 9 days it is a 10 hour flight home, and then one night sleeping at home, (I retrieve my sunglasses from the porch) and then a 4 hour flight to Houston. My flight to Key West gets delayed. I buy Starbucks for breakfast. its an hour late. the Starbucks at the airport is full of teenagers. there must be a field trip. they are out of oat milk and I settle for almond. 2 and a half hour flight to Key West. my friend finds me and then it's a 1 hour drive to the camp where my they work. I can cook and eat dinner, and another hour drive from there to where I work and sleep.
the guy who can drive me to where we work is still working so I hang around waiting for him to finish working and then he drives me back and on the way back, I realize that oh fuck the full moon isn't on Easter. it's tonight! I'm tired as hell but I've got to do it, I've got the wine and the candle and a lighter. I've never been to that beach at night but I can do it today.

Oh! I forgot to share a thing that happened today!
As I was paying for Cacoa's vet visit, one of the vet techs approaches me and asks if I'm "that quilter on tumblr." Keep in mind, I'm wearing an envomask, the entire lower half of my face is covered. I'm also wearing my sunglasses (pink aviators).
I respond with "maaaaaybe, but which one?"
They whipped out their phone and started scrolling, then showed me the post with my stained glass quilt. "Are you Chaosfay?" She looks sooooo proud of herself and excited as a puppy.
Apparently, my quilts and the links I shared about kennel quilts inspired them to learn how to sew and make kennel quilts. All the WIP pics have shown them how easy making little quilts really is, and now they make kennel quilts for all the animals in clinic and a few of the shelters.
This is the second time someone has recognized me in public. These people have only ever seen me with my mask on. How do they recognize me? The first time, it was at a quilt shop, and it was my voice and they saw the quilts I was showing to someone on my phone. This time? They heard me say Cacoa's name and recognized her meow from various videos I've shared here.
Y'all have no idea how very bizarre and funny it is that I'm recognized in public. It's not weird, but kinda is, a little, that people have squealed when meeting me.
Oh, and both these occasions had the same reaction: I'm shorter than they expected. LOL!!! Online friends have said this when I meet them in person. Y'all, I'm 5'2" aka itty bitty. I have mentioned this several time. My guess is that my personality just makes me seem taller.
Anyway, if you see me or suspect it's me, just ask if I'm Chaosfay. I won't be offended. Just...prepare for how chatty I tend to be. I can carry a one sided conversation with ease.

~2008~
Mazy had graduated high school literally two days before today.
She packed all of her stuff up and had a ride to the airport. Where was she going? Virginia. She was finishing out high school on the base in California.
Mav was active still and Mazy wanted to break loose so badly. She couldn't stand to be around him one more day.
It was between teenage angst, resentment, their lack of communication, and singed off father-daughter relationship.
Mazy had walked across the stage gotten her diploma. Went home had lunch with her dad. Then took her two suit cases and a backpack to the airport after he had fallen asleep.
Mazy wanted to be with Bradley till it was her turn to go to the academy the both following in their parents footsteps. Bradley had joined up two years prior, Finally getting in after Mav pulled his papers.
Bradley had promised to wait for Mazy as long as it took. On her 18th birthday over a long call Mazy admitted after all these years she was in love with him.
She felt guilty as she was literally a teenager still and he was 23. But he was willing to try a relationship since she was of age now.
So now six months later they were both ready to commit to each other and the Navy.
Bradley stood at the airport in a pair of slightly tattered blue vans, Kahki shorts, and a Navy shirt in. His dads aviator sunglasses folded hanging from the neck of his shirt. He looked around awkwardly as he waited for Mazy. He knew her flight was supposed to come in around 2. It was now 2:15ish.
He checked his phone sliding out the keyboard in and out of it nervously.
Then he saw her.
Mazy dragged two suitcases and a backpack slugged across her shoulders.
She had on dirty white high top converse, denim shorts, and a Fall Out Boy shirt on. Her dark brown hair in two French braids something that wouldn't change about her appearance.
She looked around and spotted the tall man with sandy blonde hair.
Her face lit up as she dashed the best she could with two suit cases towards him. Right infront of them she dropped them and flung herself into his arms.
"Bradley," she hugged him tight as he spun her around taking in her scent of bath and body works perfume.
He set her back down and they embraced each other in a tight hug. She was just as short as he remembered her being.
"Mazy," Bradley smiled staring down at her.
"I'm so, I can't believe I'm here and you're here." Mazy caressed his arm.
"I can't believe you're here too," he smiled and kissed her. Both kind of sucked at kissing from the time they had spent as just an online relationship.
~2022~
Mazy sat at the bar of the Hard Deck before they opened planning out the wedding.
Nat, Amelia, and Penny all sat at the bar with her as they folded up the last minute invitations as they went through the list of guests and addresses.
"I can't believe you're inviting Hangman," Nat chuckled as she sealed the blue envelope and put one of the white bouquet stickers on it. Then wrote out his name and address.
"He may be kind of a dick but he is my friend, let's not forget he actually saved my father and fiancé's life. It would be kind of a slap in the face to not invite him." Mazy leaned down looking at her friend.
"Ice and Mav used to absolutely hate each other. Till they flew together. Maybe this is a time for Jake and Bradley to become friends." Penny shrugged.
"Maybe," Mazy hummed. They decided on a pot luck style wedding. Everyone brought their own dish it saved money for everyone.
They'd have the ceremony and reception at the Hard Deck with the Ceremony being outside on the beach.
They would string up some white Christmas lights around the Hard Deck and some on the deck outside.
It was last minute by Mazy was so excited for this chapter of her life.
~2020~
It had been a year of uncertainty and uneasy times. Bradley and Mazy had both been discharged home at the beginning of March because of the virus. They stocked up on grocery's and promptly only left to pick up grocery orders for around 3 months.
It was August and they were itching for something. Anything! Both had been strict with covid regulations not being able to see Nat or Penny was hard for the both of them. But Mazy showed Bradley the ropes of living a boring life.
She literally spent her whole childhood living on bases in other countries/different parts of the US. Where she had no one but herself, never around long enough to make life long friends.
Being stationed in San Diego as a kid was the only place Mazy felt comfortable she had Uncle Ice and Uncle Hondo. Along with some other navy brat kids.
Mazy and Bradley had never been more happier they’d bought a house on the beach.
It was another night sitting on a bedsheet on the beach. They shared some home made margaritas watching the sunset.
“I never thought in a million years I’d be spending this much time locked in a house with my boyfriend.” Mazy chuckled taking a sip of the strawberry margarita. The horizon was dipping below the ocean line. The orange and pink sky perfect for the mood.
“I can’t believe I witnessed you turn 30 where it was just me and you.” Bradley smiled about the late July day.
They FaceTimed with Nat, Iceman, Penny, and Amelia and had lunch over the call.
After Mazy and Bradley got super shit faced and had sex on their back deck.
“Don’t remind me I feel so old,” Mazy whined moving closer to Bradley taking a king drink of her drink.
“I’m glad out of anyone I could’ve been locked up with it’s you. You’ve made it fun, it’s gonna be more fun because hell if I know the next time we’re gonna be able to really do anything.” Bradley smirked looking at her, oh god she was so beautiful.
Bradley was so deeply in love with her, he had planned to do it tonight but now he had to do it right now because Mazy had him under her spell.
She has cut her hair a few days ago so it was a little bit shorter than shoulder length and the way she had it pushed back was so hot. The way her green eyes shimmered in the sunset, her summer sun freckles prominent.
“Oh god you’re so beautiful,” Bradley got up and offered his hands to pull her up.
Mazy smile and set her glass on the cooler and took his hands.
They smiled as they ran towards the water and began splashing each other, “It’s already getting cold out here you Dick head.” Mazy laughed as she kicked water at Bradley. He had on one of his far too man Hawaiian shirts on the water collided with his bare chest as the shirt hung open.
“Hey!” Bradley giggled and splashed her back. Mazy came charging at him to tackle him into the water and she did.
His eyes widened as he came up…the box. He picked her up from on top of him. He dashed them out of the water.
“What’s wrong Bradley?” Mazy picked up her towel as he set her down.
Bradley sighed and got down on one knee as he grabbed the soggy box from his pocket.
Mazy dropped her towel from her hands as her jaw hit the sand as well.
“Mazy Mitchell…where do I even begin. Since the day you called me on your birthday and confessed your feelings I’d know it would be forever; Although, we’ve had Rocky upbringings we have safety and security in each other. So Mazy Charlotte Mitchell, will you be my forever Wingman and marry me?” Bradley smiled up at the girl he’d love for forever. She had her hands pulled up covering her mouth as tears streamed down her face.
“Yes, oh my fucking god yes.” Mazy smiled through her tears as Bradley pushed the band onto her finger. She threw her arms around Bradley as he picked her up. She wrapped her legs around him as they let their lips connect. His mustache brushing the top of her lip, a familiar comfortable feeling she’d come to learn and find safety in.
Everything was perfect in a time of tragedy.
~2022~
“So have you gone dress shopping?” Penny asked getting up and grabbing herself a drink, “Nat? Mazy? You girls want anything to drink.” Penny asked.
“No thanks,” Nat smiled.
“I’ll just take some water I forgot my water bottle in the car.” Mazy nodded.
“So the dress?” Penny handed her the glass of water as she leaned on the bar.
“I bought one in 2021 that I still have. You know when we were first going to have the wedding then we got called on a mission.” Mazy sighed. She was a little thankful they had to wait because now her father could be here but now Ice was gone. Her original plan was to have him hand her off, time seemed to not have them in mind, “I don’t know if it’ll still fit but when me and Nat go back to mine I’ll try it on.”
“Sounds good, if it doesn’t I can help you trade it in and we can go get a new one tomorrow.” Penny smiled.
“Thank you Penny, how’re you and my father?” Mazy chuckled. Nat and Amelia laughed at the question as Penny raised an eyebrow and titled her head to the side taking a long sip of her glass of wine.
“Well he’s moving in soon I’m sure you know that since he’s been crashing at yours. But I think it’s good, I think we’ll be the next ones marrying if everything goes the way we want it too.” Penny nodded.
“Well I can only wish for the best,” Mazy wanted her dad to be happy and he really did seem happy with Penny. She knew that they’d tried dating time and time again with no success because of her dads habit of flaking.
But he had changed and seemed to want to get his life back in control. She just hoped he would stay happy with whatever could happen.

Why Wholesale Sunglasses Are a Smart Investment for Businesses.
When sourcing wholesale sunglasses, making the right choice is critical for ensuring profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction. As someone with experience analyzing B2B supply chains and market trends, I’ve noticed that businesses thrive when they align with suppliers that combine competitive pricing with diverse offerings. Solar Fashions stands out in this niche, particularly for businesses in the United States. Below, I’ll explain what makes them a reliable partner and how their approach can benefit your business.
Tumblr media
Understanding the Market for Wholesale Sunglasses
The demand for sunglasses, especially in the B2B sector, remains consistently high. Customers seek products that are both functional and stylish, and businesses that cater to these needs tend to see strong returns. Retailers and resellers that stock versatile options often capture a wider audience, particularly when their inventory includes UV-protective lenses and trending designs.
Wholesale suppliers play a significant role here. They not only influence pricing but also the range of styles and quality standards available to your customers. Selecting the right wholesaler ensures your business stays competitive while maintaining strong profit margins.
The Advantages of Partnering with Solar Fashions
After studying numerous wholesale sunglasses providers, Solar Fashions consistently emerges as a top choice for businesses. With over 30 years in the industry, they’ve built a reputation for reliability, competitive pricing, and an impressive inventory tailored to meet market trends.
Competitive Pricing and Low Minimum Orders
Solar Fashions makes it easy for businesses of all sizes to stock up on quality eyewear. Their low minimum order requirements enable even small retailers to diversify their inventory without excessive upfront costs. Coupled with their competitive pricing, this ensures higher profit margins for their clients.
Extensive Inventory
One of Solar Fashions’ strongest features is their wide selection of sunglasses, which includes styles for men, women, and unisex designs. They cater to various preferences, offering shapes like aviators, cat eyes, round frames, and semi-rimless options. This versatility means you can appeal to a broad demographic, whether your customers prioritize fashion-forward designs or classic styles.
Additionally, Solar Fashions specializes in UV400 sunglasses, which offer the level of sun protection that discerning consumers expect. These features make their products practical and desirable, giving your business an edge in meeting customer needs.
Streamlined Online Platform
Recently, Solar Fashions upgraded their e-commerce platform, making it easier for businesses to browse, select, and purchase products. Their intuitive interface ensures that even those new to the platform can navigate effortlessly. For returning customers, the updated system requires creating a new account but offers a smoother checkout process and improved navigation tools.
Convenient Shipping Policies
Solar Fashions supports businesses by offering free ground shipping for orders over $300 within the continental United States. This not only reduces overhead costs but also incentivizes bulk purchasing, allowing retailers to stock a wider variety of sunglasses while staying within budget.
Why Quality Matters in Wholesale Sunglasses
In the eyewear market, quality cannot be compromised. Low-grade materials or substandard lenses can lead to dissatisfied customers, poor reviews, and reduced repeat business. Solar Fashions addresses this issue by ensuring their sunglasses meet high standards for durability and UV protection. Their long-standing reputation reflects their commitment to providing products that perform well and maintain aesthetic appeal.
Boosting Sales with Trend-Responsive Inventory
One key to succeeding in the wholesale sunglasses market is staying ahead of trends. Solar Fashions excels in this area by offering styles that align with current consumer preferences. Whether your market leans toward sporty frames, bold luxury designs, or timeless classics, Solar Fashions has you covered.
For retailers, having access to such a dynamic inventory allows for greater flexibility in responding to seasonal trends and shifting customer demands. This ensures that your stock remains relevant, increasing the likelihood of repeat business.
Tumblr media

Choosing the right wholesale supplier is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your business. Solar Fashions stands out because of their diverse inventory, commitment to quality, and business-friendly policies. What Are the Best Sunglasses Shapes for Different Face Types in 2024?
Tumblr media
Sunglasses are not just a practical accessory, they’re also a vital part of one’s style. However, choosing the best sunglasses for your face type can be tricky. With so many styles available, finding the perfect fit to complement your face shape is key to looking and feeling confident. In 2024, the diversity of sunglasses shapes continues to reflect the latest trends in both fashion and functionality, with an emphasis on balancing style with comfort and protection.
This article will guide you through the best sunglasses shapes for different face types and offer tips on how to find your ideal pair, whether you're looking for wholesale sunglasses online, searching for sunglasses for women's fashion, or exploring trendy kids fashion sunglasses.
Understanding Your Face Shape
Before diving into the best sunglasses shapes, it's crucial to understand your face shape. Broadly, faces can be classified into six common shapes: round, oval, square, heart, diamond, and oblong. Each shape has its own set of complementary sunglasses styles. To find the perfect sunglasses for you, start by identifying your face shape.
1. Round Face
A round face is characterized by soft curves, full cheeks, and a round chin. If you have this face shape, you'll want to pick sunglasses that create angles and add definition to your face.
Best Sunglasses Shapes for Round Faces
Square Sunglasses: Square or rectangular sunglasses add sharpness and contrast to the softness of a round face. The straight lines help elongate the face and reduce the roundness.
Cat-Eye Sunglasses: This shape works well for round faces as it adds an upward angle, elongating the face and drawing attention to the cheekbones.
Wayfarers: Classic wayfarer sunglasses with angular frames provide structure and help balance out the round features of your face.
2. Oval Face
Oval faces are generally well-balanced, with slightly rounded contours and a narrower chin. People with oval faces have the advantage of being able to wear almost any style of sunglasses, as this face shape is quite versatile.
Best Sunglasses Shapes for Oval Faces
Round Sunglasses: Round sunglasses can add a fun and quirky twist to an oval face. They work especially well when paired with retro or bohemian styles.
Aviator Sunglasses: The classic aviator shape suits oval faces beautifully, offering a timeless and sleek look. The thin, metal frame works well with the soft contours of an oval face.
Oversized Sunglasses: These sunglasses create a bold, statement look that complements the proportions of an oval face.
3. Square Face
A square face is characterized by a strong jawline, broad forehead, and angular features. The goal for square faces is to soften the sharp angles and bring balance to the strong, defined lines.
Best Sunglasses Shapes for Square Faces:
Round or Oval Sunglasses: Soft, round frames balance out the angularity of square faces, helping to soften the sharp edges and create harmony.
Browline Sunglasses: Sunglasses with a thicker frame on the top half (like browline glasses) can soften a square face’s strong lines while adding some vintage flair.
Round Cat-Eye Sunglasses: For a more fashion-forward look, round cat-eye frames can break up the harsh angles and highlight your cheekbones.
4. Heart-Shaped Face
Heart-shaped faces have a wide forehead and cheekbones with a narrower chin. The goal is to balance the upper and lower face, drawing attention downward toward the chin.
Best Sunglasses Shapes for Heart-Shaped Faces:
Round Sunglasses: Round frames work well with heart-shaped faces by softening the wide upper face and adding focus to the chin area.
Cat-Eye Sunglasses: The upswept shape of cat-eye sunglasses adds width at the temples and draws attention upward, which balances the pointed chin of a heart-shaped face.
Browline Sunglasses: These frames add structure to the face while still drawing the eye downward toward the chin.
5. Diamond-Shaped Face
Diamond-shaped faces have high cheekbones, a narrow forehead, and a pointed chin. The goal is to highlight the cheekbones and soften the pointed chin.
Best Sunglasses Shapes for Diamond Faces:
Oval Sunglasses: Oval frames soften the sharp angles of a diamond face, adding more width to the forehead and chin.
Cat-Eye Sunglasses: This style works well for diamond faces as it draws attention to the upper face and cheekbones while softening the chin.
Browline Sunglasses: Like the heart-shaped face, browline sunglasses add a structured, balanced look to a diamond-shaped face.
6. Oblong Face
Oblong faces are longer and narrower, often with a more prominent chin and forehead. The goal is to add width to the face and reduce its length.
Best Sunglasses Shapes for Oblong Faces:
Wide Sunglasses: Oversized or wide sunglasses, such as aviators, work best for oblong faces as they add balance and width.
Round Sunglasses: Round frames add curvature and balance to a longer face shape, helping to create the illusion of more proportionate features.
Geometric Sunglasses: Geometric frames with sharp angles can add structure and balance out the length of an oblong face.
Trendy Sunglasses for Women and Kids in 2024
When considering sunglasses for women fashion or kids fashion sunglasses, trends evolve each year, but a few styles have become timeless.
Sunglasses for Women Fashion in 2024:
This year, oversized sunglasses are back in full force. Whether it’s a dramatic square or round shape, large frames create a bold statement. Retro and vintage-inspired styles, like cat-eyes and aviators, continue to dominate the scene. Additionally, colored lenses, especially in shades of pink, yellow, and green, are making a comeback for a playful yet fashionable look. Women looking to buy wholesale sunglasses online will find that these trendy, bold styles are available in a variety of shapes and materials, offering both function and style.
Kids Fashion Sunglasses in 2024:
When it comes to kids fashion sunglasses, durability and comfort are key. Popular shapes for kids include fun, rounded frames, bright colors, and playful patterns. Smaller, cat-eye shapes and sporty sunglasses with wraparound frames are also trending. As kids are more likely to be active outdoors, sunglasses with UV protection are crucial for protecting young eyes. Parents can find stylish yet functional kids' sunglasses online, offering a variety of colors and shapes that appeal to both kids and parents.
Where to Find the Best Sunglasses Online
With the rise of online shopping, finding the perfect pair of sunglasses has never been easier. Whether you're searching for wholesale sunglasses online or looking for specific sunglasses for women or kids, online retailers offer an extensive variety of shapes and sizes. Many online stores allow you to filter by face shape, lens color, frame material, and price, making it easier to find a pair of sunglasses that suits both your style and budget.
Moreover, wholesale sunglasses online are a great option for retailers or bulk buyers looking to provide trendy eyewear at affordable prices. Purchasing sunglasses in bulk ensures you get high-quality products while saving on costs, especially with popular shapes and styles for the upcoming season.

Finding the perfect pair of sunglasses for your face shape is more than just about style; it's about enhancing your features and protecting your eyes. Whether you're looking for bold, oversized frames for a square face or classic aviators for an oval face, the right sunglasses can elevate your overall look.
