High Sydney Tower Eye

Situé dans le centre de Sydney (Central Sydney), dans le quartier de la City (ou Central Business District - CBD), la Sydney Tower, également appelée Centrepoint Tower, AMP Tower, ou encore Westfield Tower, est le plus haut édifice de la ville (309 m avec la flèche). 

Sydney Tower Eye est le nom de la plateforme d’observation située 250 mètres au-dessus des rues de la capitale de la Nouvelle-Galles du Sud (New South Wales).

De cette plateforme d’observation, on a un panorama à 360 degrés sur Sydney et ses environs. On peut même apercevoir, par beau temps, les Blue Mountains qui se trouvent à 80 kilomètres au nord-ouest de la ville.

Mais c’est surtout la vue plongeante sur les innombrables baies entourant Port Jackson* (ou Sydney Harbour) qui est impressionnante !  

* Plus communément appelé Baie de Sydney.

A l’ouest, le regard tombe sur Darling Harbour (au centre) qui s’étend autour de Cockle Bay.

A droite du pont piéton de Pyrmont Bridge, on peut voir deux bâtiments se faisant face de chaque côté du port : au premier plan, le SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium (ou Sydney Aquarium) et sur la rive opposée, l’Australian National Maritime Museum.   

Derrière Darling Harbour se déploie le quartier de Pyrmont avec à droite, Johnstons Bay, et de l’autre côté, Blackwattle Bay que franchit l’Anzac Bridge pour atteindre Rozelle et sa baie.  

Vers le nord, on aperçoit bien sûr le Harbour Bridge, et au-delà, Lower North Shore .

Au pied du pont se trouvent, à droite, The Rocks, le quartier historique, et à gauche, Dawes Point, caché par les tours, puis Millers Point en face de Goat Island. Enfin, au bord de la baie, en redescendant, c’est le quartier de Barangaroo avec sur la rive opposée, celui d’East Balmain.

Au nord-est, le Sydney Opera House apparait entre les buildings de la City, parmi lesquels, le Citygroup Center (243 m de haut) à gauche, et au centre, avec sa structure métallique triangulaire, le Deutsche Bank Place (240 m). 

Dans le fond de Farm Cove, la crique en forme de fer à cheval qui se termine par Mrs Macquaries Point, s’étendent les Royal Botanic Gardens entourés par The Domain*. 

Sur la droite, en lisière des arbres du domaine, on distingue l’Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool, une piscine publique située sur l’eau en bordure de la baie (suivante) de Woolloomooloo, face à la base navale de la Royal Australian Navy (RAN) de Garden Island dans le quartier de Potts Point.

* The Domain est un immense parc animé l’été par ses festivals et ses concerts. Il a été inauguré en 1816, en même temps que les jardins royaux, par le général Lachlan Macquarie, gouverneur de Nouvelle-Galles du Sud de 1810 à 1821.

En contrebas, Saint James Road passe entre Saint James Church, une église anglicane datant de 1824, et Hyde Park North.

Au croisement avec Macquarie Street, on peut voir Hyde Park Barracks. Cette caserne, Patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, qui a été construite en 1817 pour loger des détenus, a ensuite abrité des femmes immigrés, avant de devenir un tribunal puis des bureaux gouvernementaux. C’est aujourd’hui un musée dédié à cette histoire.

Vers l’ouest, le regard se porte d’abord sur le nord de Hyde Park. C’est le plus ancien parc d’Australie (1810), aménagé selon le modèle des espaces verts anglais. Sa célèbre Archibald Fountain a été créée en 1932, au milieu de Birubi Circle, par le sculpteur français François Sicard (1862-1934) dans le style Art Déco. De forme hexagonale, elle mesure 18 mètres de diamètre. 

Elle a été érigée pour commémorer l'alliance entre la France et l’Australie lors de la Première Guerre mondiale selon la volonté et grâce à un legs testamentaire de J.F. (Jules François) Archibald (1856-1919), journaliste et cofondateur de l’hebdomadaire The Bulletin en 1880 et qui a paru jusqu’en 2008.

A gauche, on reconnait Hyde Park Barracks et en face, Saint Mary’s Cathedral*. Derrière celle-ci débute The Domain qui se prolonge jusqu’à Farm Cove.

Au second plan, se trouve le quartier de Woolloomooloo avec son port dans la baie de même nom et le Finger Wharf ou Woolloomooloo Wharf, le plus long quai à pans de bois au monde, terminé en 1815.  

Se succèdent ensuite, les quartiers de Potts Point et d’Elizabeth Bay, puis Darling Point entre Ketlie Bay et celle de Diendagulla, en face de Clark Island. Il y a enfin, Point Piper, Rose Bay et Vaucluse, qui referme Port Jackson. La deuxième ile est Shark Island.

Dans le fond à droite se trouve la célèbre plage de Bondi Beach.

* La cathédrale catholique de Sydney a pour origine l’église Sainte-Marie construite de 1821 à 1833 et élevée au statut de cathédrale en 1835. Mais un incendie l’a détruite en 1865. Le monument actuel de style néo-gothique qui l’a remplacée a été élevé entre 1868 et 1928.

Si notre objectif s’était tourné vers le sud, on aurait vu le Sydney Cricket Ground et l’Allianz Stadium (ou Sydney Football Stadium) dans lequel se jouent également les matchs de rugby et qui s’appelait à l’origine Aussie Stadium.

Plus loin, on aurait aussi aperçu l’aéroport de Sydney (Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport). Il porte le nom d’un pilote pionnier de l’aviation, né à Brisbane en 1897, Sir Charles Kingsford Smith. Surnommé Smithy, il a disparu en mer au large de la Birmanie lors d’un vol entre l’Angleterre et l’Australie en 1935.

Commencée au tout début des années 1970, la construction de la Sydney Tower s’est terminée en 1981.

Jusqu’en 2005, la tour, qui est conçue pour résister aux séismes et aux vents violents, a été le plus haut édifice d’Australie. Mais elle a été dépassée depuis par la Q1 Tower de Gold Coast dans l’état voisin du Queensland, haute de 323 mètres. Elle est donc maintenant au troisième rang après la Sky Tower d’Auckland (328m) bien que la plateforme d’observation de cette dernière ne soit qu’à 186 mètres du sol.

Hames Sharley is proud to have designed the first stage of theEast Village Karrinyup residences for Blackburne. This important milestone starts to complete the picture of this $800 million mixed-use activity centre development with AMP.

The project will consist of 94 residences on the eastern edge of the new Karrinyup Shopping Centre, which will offer incredible views over Lake Gwelup, Perth city and Karrinyup Golf Course.

The architects’ philosophy in East Village Karrinyup is to take a holistic approach and create places where feelings of vibrancy, comfort, security and home develop organically as individuals occupy the space and make it their own.

The inception period of any project that Hames Sharley is asked to investigate is equally focussed on the aspirations and guiding principles of the local and greater context and the client brief. This allows for a strong platform to develop considered ideas that lead to a development that is based on a feeling of home at an intimate scale as well as connecting to a sense of place at a broader scale – adding value to its context.

Our goal is to create a ‘place’ that has a balance of diverse residential and retail offering, landscape and view corridors that connect to the immediate context and interwoven principles regarding environmental responsible design. When this tapestry of principles is activated within the design process this gives us the best chance to create an outcome that will allow a community to develop over time.

The Brief 1. Activate Street / Sleave carpark 2. Be sensitive to the existing neighbours 3. Maximise opportunity for views 4. Create a social heart for residents to gather

What are the key moves and design principles? The most significant move was to revise the design and push the building against the neighbouring carpark wall. This move created a single-level interface with the street and footpath, making it more sympathetic in its pedestrian scale. This also allowed the community space to be forward of the apartments and become a “front lawn/garden” for the residents to gather. The traditional approach of building to the street with minor setbacks would have eliminated residential amenity as it would internalise against the carpark, it would have also reduced view corridors and impacted neighbouring footpath and neighbours perception of bulk on the street.

What were the key challenges? • Building against the shopping centre • Triangular site with Shopping centre crossovers • Servicing the site – waste and fire location where restriction by shopping centre constraints

What were the solutions? Hames Sharley working on both sites added the co-ordination. Liaison with the council was also key. The Service vehicle location was severely restricted in many locations, so the ability to execute in the available areas was vital.

The shape of the site and the shopping centre design limited options for access from a vehicular point of view. Visibility and safety for cars and pedestrians were paramount so cars are legible and lobbies are places on the corner to make that welcoming statement.

By placing the building against the wall of the existing supermarket allowed us to make a front garden for all the residents. Improve their views and somewhere for them to meet their neighbours.

Who are the clients and what’s interesting about them? Blackburne are WAs foremost Property developer. Knowing the market and focussing on their purchaser needs and wants is critical. Creating world class marketing content and buyer appetite is their key strength.

How is the project unique? East Village Karrinyup is truly integrated into a mixed-use precinct. All the amenity of a large shopping centre and an ELP right on their doorstep will ensure this project has a unique appeal. Commanding views over lake Gwelup and the city are achieved across most levels due to its orientation and elevated site.

The Sunshine Coast is synonymous with long, lazy days relaxing by beautiful beaches, but a visit isn’t complete without sampling the local seafood.

With delectable offerings like fresh-off-the-trawler Mooloolaba prawns and local reef fish, plus coastal views that are as exquisite as the food, the Sunshine Coast has dining experiences to delight the fussiest foodies.

Here’s 10 of the best places to feast on fresh fish on the Sunshine Coast.

1. Wasabi

Led by executive chef Zeb Gilbert, the team at Wasabi do Japanese with finesse. The menu showcases seasonal produce from their farm and seafood sourced daily from the local fleet.

You can order from the seven or nine course “Omakase” menu, or the four course a la carte menu. Their knowledgeable staff can help you make these tough choices.

Savour dishes like Moreton Bay rock oyster with house-made organic apple vinegar gelee, or sushi featuring the day’s best local sashimi, while watching the sunset over the peaceful waters of Noosa Sound.

If you’re up for a full Japanese immersion, try one (or more) of the 17 sakes from their extensive beverage menu.

2. Bistro C

At Bistro C, you can literally step off the sand into the relaxed space overlooking Laguna Bay, so it’s an ideal spot for amping up your Insta-envy factor.

Chef Dayle Merlo’s award-winning cuisine is crafted from local produce, highlighting fish, oysters, and melt-in-your-mouth calamari.

On the lunch menu is prawn and spanner crab tostada, or grilled barramundi fillet in scallop and king prawn bouillabaisse. For dinner, how about crab and scallop dumplings and a pan of fresh local seafood spaghetti?

Wash it down with Australian wine, or spirits from destinations as far-flung as Scotland and Barbados.

Where: 49 Hastings St, Noosa. Open 7 days. A kids’ menu is available.

3. Noosa Boathouse

Heading upstream, this three-level bistro and bar hovers over the Noosa River, so 180-degree water views are a given.

The modern Australian menu emphasises fresh local seafood, and it’s hard to beat their seafood experience for two. A three-tiered platter includes Mooloolaba prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, oysters, Fraser Island spanner crab and local fish.

Don’t miss a drink at the top-deck Sunset Bar. Sip a wine or cocktail with salt and pepper calamari while admiring the sunset over Mount Tinbeerwah. Sundays feature live music from 4.30.

Hint: you can order fish and chips from the takeaway counter and eat them at a riverside picnic table.

4. Periwinkle Restaurant

A short drive away at Peregian Beach, Periwinkle serves seafood French Mediterranean style.

Situated in the delightful village square, you can feast on treats like Mooloolaba tuna salad, spanner crab linguine or daily fish market specials while the kids play on the green.

Where: 2/216 David Low Way, Peregian Beach. Open 7 days.

5. The Spirit House

This legendary restaurant is spoken about with awestruck tones. The Thai menu is designed for sharing, so it’s perfect for savouring flavours with friends.

Order individual courses – like Moreton Bay bug on betel leaf or whole crispy fish with chilli tamarind sauce – or from one of three banquet menus. For a perfectly-paired experience, their sommelier can recommend wines to complement each course.

The restaurant is set within tropical gardens around a pond, which is home to water dragons and native water rats, making it the only restaurant where you shouldn’t be alarmed to see a rodent.

Tip: bookings are essential.

6. The Tamarind

Situated in Spicers Tamarind Retreat at Maleny, this restaurant proves you don’t have to be right on the coast to serve great seafood.

Awarded a Chef Hat in 2018, the menu from French-trained executive chef Dan Jarrett offers Asian cuisine highlighting local produce. Think whole crispy fried fish with chilli, tamarind and finger ginger, or southern style curry with Mooloolaba swordfish.

Where: 88 Obi Lane South, Maleny. Open to the public for lunch Friday to Sunday and dinner Wednesday to Sunday.

7. Pier 33

Formerly the yacht club, the tired building was reborn as a seafood restaurant In Hampton’s-meets-nautical style.

Situated beside the marina on the Mooloolah River, feel the stirrings of your inner mariner while noshing on seafood fresh off the trawlers.

The sharing menu features fresh oysters, scallops and fish, but it’s hard to go past the prawn and bug tagliatelle with Noosa Red tomato, chilli and garlic.

Where: 33-45 Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba. Open Tuesday to Sunday.

8. Tides Waterfront

At the bottom of the coast, Tides Waterfront has 180-degree views from the ocean to the spectacular Glass House Mountains. The multi-award-winning restaurant (Tides won Caloundra’s first chef’s hat in 2015 and has held a 1-glass rating for its wine list for the past five years) has a menu accentuating local seafood.

For a home-grown flavour, there’s Mooloolaba snapper fillet or swordfish, or the selection plate of fresh local and Australian seafood.

Tip: Tides has oodles of gluten-free options.

Where: Corner Minchinton Street and Esplanade, Bulcock Beach, Caloundra. Open 7 days.

9. Seafood Market @ Caloundra

Head here for a range of fresh, local whole fish, fillets, oysters, prawns and crustaceans, including mouth-watering Moreton Bay bugs. They can make up a seafood platter on request, or have them cook up your selection and stroll to a waterside table at Bulcock Beach.

10. Mooloolaba Fish Market

The Sunny Coast’s largest seafood retailer, they offer local, wild caught seafood that would be leaping if it were any fresher. Get it cooked and eat it on the deck watching the boats on the Mooloolah River, or take it home.

ALL MORNING from early on there has been criminals roaming the streets and invading innocent householders properties and throwing and hurling rocks and yelling and abusing and swearing.

And of course there's no sign of any Police presence at all in the area, and even if they were, they are too stupid to listen to any truth and only rely on listening to the criminals themselves who lie, lie, lie, 100% of the time.

And Police here wonder why no matter what they do, NOTHING changes?

Things are now shifted to a "Winter" cycle of rampant crime and criminality and criminals in this hellhole.

But there is no rain. Though rain is finally due to start happening sometime this week according to weather forecasts. (THAT in itself will trigger their raining crimial activities).....

The uncontrollable small criminal who wanders the streets seems to be absent. (was he finally arrested and taken away?), however.....ALL HIS CRIMINAL PRACTICES have been taken up by a fellow criminal who lives with him in the criminal households. And today he has been active, as well as female criminals. But he is MOST ACTIVE today.

He currently is again on a pushbike and roaming about. - Is THAT just to elude Police and authorities from spotting him? - Has he been tipped-of there would be a vehicle about soon? And so he cycled off (no pushbike helmet of course because they obey NO LAWS AT ALL), and ALL MORNING has been rampant in the streets doing THE SAME CRIMINAL SHIT that the other one would always do.

I'm NOT going to give specifics except to Police andor authoroties...and then ONLY WHEN THEY ASK ME. - (BECAUSE THEY SEEM NOT TO CARE OR TO BE DOING ANY GOOD AT ALL AGAIN IN THIS HELLHOLE AREA). - Any time I approach THEM, they seem to not give a shit at all. I'm talking about the Police and authorities.

Oh, he's back again.......I wonder who's place he broke-into whilst he was out?

There is NO PEACE AND QUIET AT ALL HERE.

ONlY 'lulls' between criminal events...AGAIN.

Last week a few days agao the Police were PLEADING for information to criminals and crime, but that's just bullshit window-dressing public relations.

The ONLY things that are currently missing are the aboriginal toddlers (offsprings of the criminal aborigials) in diapers roaming and running about ON THE ROADS IN TRAFFIC, and the scores of utterly feral cats of the criminal aboriginals, and the near-feral dogs of the aboriginals..........

Instead, what is happening are criminal aboriginal youths roaming the streets.

The aboriginal criminal kids have been hauled away somewhere temporarily...it's ALWAYS TEMPORARILY....to be somebody elses problems and hell, leaving the older youths to continue being criminals and carry on their 'criminal traditions'.

Today has been a council 'garden waste' verge collection day and that was all finished up this morning. But the fact that trucks were all congregating in the streets brought out the criminals afterwards. NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE NORMALITY AT THIS HELHOLE AREA.

STILL heaped up in the front yard of the empty 4-sale or rent place is a huge amount of rubbish stacked up and leaning against one of the few sections of remaining fence there still surviving after all the criminals destruction of all the other fences. It's a large amount of rubbish AGAIN that AGAIN the real estate company will have to pay to have removed AGAIN.

And where did the rubbish come from? - From across the road from there of course. Purposely dumped there AGAIN.

The Police and authorities know about these things and do nothing. The real estate company does nothing. Nobody does anything. Because this is a fucking hellhole area that has been allowed to fester and go rancid.

A road motorbike has come out out of one place and sped off. I wonder if it was stored inside the house. Since their own driveway is blocked by a huge camper trailer. They use a section of their fence they remove to get cars out that they park next to their front door of their house of their front yard of this hellhole.

A big delivery truck of "Essential Applicances" arrived in the street AGAIN. A company that hires out goods including refrigerators and stuff. - THEY have made countless deliveries to the criminal households before. Stuff that always ends up illegally on the street verges for council rubbish collections or stuffed into rubbish bins or....

Criminal aborigals started flocking aorund it on the streets (plural) because it pulled up at one aborigial household, was mobbed, then it drove off to another street and was congregated around by the same ones AGAIN. - AND....an aboriginal toddler in a diaper ran across the road without looking as part of all that.

Then a sedan vehicle pulled up and MORE toddlers in diapers toddled out......and aboriginal criminals get out of the sedan, (have they been to a court case today because of their criminality?)

And the streets became full of criminal aboriginals.......

...AND the chainsmoking departmental? woman was walking all about and holding onto a device.....seeing it all. But she is just an utterly useless pawn in an utterly useless system designed to home criminals and keep them in check (somewhat) so that locals don't riot and kill them all which would be very embaressing to authorities.

The truck drives off goes into the empty carpark area and the street is still full of the shits.

And all throughout this is LOUD drum set playing coming out of the household that has the removeable section of front fence that they use as their 'driveway' on and on and on and has been playing for many hours. This place is RIGHT NEXT door to the old guys place.

The aboriginal shits collect in the street on foor and on bicycles and start travelling on the footpath slowly and being utterly feral.

They come to the street corner with the vacant for-rental house is and they invade the yard. One picks up a half-brick and urges another aboriginal (the SAME aboriginal criminal who has done this a million times before) to hurl it and smash the house up AGAIN.

The aboriginal male takes the half brick and hurls it at the house again and again and again, breaking the fibro walls of the house and smashing the kitchen windows (ALL AGAIN FOR THE 10th TIME NOW?) - They did this AFTER they tried to smash the large living room picture window AGAIN.

Then they all slowly walked along one more house along and entered INTO THE YARD ALL TOGETHER into the old guys place through his open big green gate.

There was no yelling from him or anything. - He was utterly quiet. he had been standing outside just minutes beforehand so he WAS home.

They hung around in there for awhile then exited, then returned around the street corner AGAIN and again invaded the fenceless corner property. More smashing sounds.

Then the mob slowly walked down the footpath and on bicycles and most went into fatguts aboriginal criminal household.

ALL THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE COUNTLESS TIMES

Somebody needs to shoot them DEAD. A dead criminal aboriginal body laying in a place where the shit should NEVER have been is something they CAN NOT LIE ABOUT.

Lies that are utterly accepted by authorities ALL THE TIME. And have ben accepted ALL THE TIME FOR YEARS.

Did you notice that all todays criminal shit happened AFTER the departmental 'watcher' had left the area?

I wish I had not voluntarily legally handed in my own guns years ago. I really do. This criminal feral scum deserve far worse.

The next thing on the agenda is that...."Oh, but we can't uphold the law because the government hasn't given us enough money to do that anymore again.....would you instead like to buy a Police raffle ticket from us?"

And now....roaming aboriginal criminals are freely associating with the old guy with the big green fence......

The old guy gets NO SYMPATHY from so many because he is directly related to the criminals of Kalara Way street, and despite he himself being a victim of their crimes and criminality he indulges them.

And so does the place next door with others....they get around in expensive high-performance cars.....

So the fiction between two criminal 'mafias' is always present too.

No wonder the old guy HATES THEM ALL.

I've ALWAYS said for MANY years that the Police should establish and maintain a Police station in this area to deal and handle it all. And to keep everything contained so that there is normality and LAW in this region.

But they do NOTHING. - Until an event pops up that they can't ignore yet again, so they dipatch a public relations team to try to soothe down innocents rightful and lawful concerns YET AGAIN because the statistics make them all appear like they're ummmmmmm...doing nothing again.....

What’s Behind The Boom In The Gold Coast Property Market?

When Australia’s leading demographer Bernard Salt released the landmark Beyond the Horizon study into the 50-year future of the Gold Coast, the region’s Mayor, Tom Tate, was unequivocal about his own vision for the region: economic and cultural expansion was crucial, he said.

  “This study has confirmed the things we already assumed – that the city must evolve beyond its lifestyle, leisure and retirement base. It needs to be taken seriously and I believe it will shake the minds of future investors,” he said.

That comment was made two years ago in light of Salt’s prediction that the Gold Coast will become a city of “truly metropolitan scale” with population doubling to 1.1 million by 2050.

Any fair minded appraisal of the sweeping cultural and economic development changes under way on the Gold Coast today would support the extent of delivery on its evolution from holiday playground to sophisticated metropolis.

While that means more facilities for holidaymakers from around Australia and overseas who continue to view the Gold Coast as a beach and leisure destination of choice, it also means a boon for residents and investors who see prices outpacing many other parts of the country.

In Queensland, that translates to twice the year-on-year increases in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast

There is no doubt that the awarding of the 2018 Commonwealth Games to the Coast has provided a huge spike in construction of appropriate infrastructure and is a major driving factor in the growth of the Gold Coast property market.

The current development spend across the region, including Games venues and accommodation, the multimillion-dollar replacement of older high-rise, and retail, transport and entertainment venue expansion, is put at about $17 billion.

“The Gold Coast market is back in town,” said Domain Group economist Dr Andrew Wilson.

“We’re obviously seeing that infrastructure is an important component of hosting the games and that means workers, particularly construction workers, with all that downstream economic activity.

“That means more demand for rental properties, more demand for owner-occupiers.

“It’s lifted ahead of the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane… We’ve got the Gold Coast up around about 8 per cent on a year-on-year basis at the moment, while Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast are about 4 to 5 per cent.”

All that said, the Commonwealth Games, from April 4-15 next year, is only part of the burgeoning Gold Coast development story.

The recently released Australian Housing Outlook to 2019, prepared by BIS Shrapnel for QBE, points to other key drivers:

AMP Capital’s Pacific Fair, for a long time the largest retail centre in Queensland, has been further transformed at a cost of $670 million into a complete leisure and fashion destination with 120 new stores (420 in total) leading to 1400 new retail jobs.

G-Link, the light rail project, currently a 13-kilometre stretch between the Gold Coast University Hospital at the northern end of the coast and Broadbeach, is being extended to Helensvale rail station – a link that will provide commuters and visitors with a relatively seamless rail transition from Brisbane to the beachfront. The plan is to have it open in time for the Games.

A new, six-star tower is one focal point of a huge redevelopment of The Star Gold Coast with an overall investment in development and existing property refurbishment worth about $850 million.

Add to that a multimillion-dollar spend on improvements to the Gold Coast Airport, which has now become one of Australia’s primary regional hubs with flights to multiple domestic destinations, as well as key ports in Asia and New Zealand.

For residential developers with a reputation for delivering architecturally sophisticated projects, interest spurred by the Commonwealth Games and the second coming-of-age for the Coast has proved the ideal marriage.

Sunland Group has focused on an ideal combination of established sport precincts, new, nearby Games and local retail infrastructure, as well as a picture-perfect site, to deliver Marina Concourse adjoining the Royal Pines Marina – its second residential apartment development within the prestigious Royal Pines community, Benowa.

The championship golf course at the neighbouring Royal Pines Resort is permanent home of the ANZ Ladies Masters and is recognised as one of Australia’s finest golfing destinations, just 15 minutes from the Gold Coast beachfront.

Marina Concourse, which draws its inspiration from the multi award-winning Marina Residences, located across the waterfront, is an elegant two-winged, low-rise development featuring 110 luxurious two-bedroom, two-bedroom plus study, three-bedroom and three-bedroom plus media apartments, and three-bedroom plus media penthouses.

The majority of these waterfront apartments will be north facing.

“Our vision for Marina Concourse is to create a vibrant, connected waterfront community, which offers unique lifestyle amenities to residents of Royal Pines and surrounding areas,” Sunland Group managing director, Sahba Abedian, said.

“Adjoining the waterfront will be a collection of retail and recreation spaces created for the enjoyment of residents and the community, including cafe-style dining, beautiful gardens and a swim school.”

When complete next year, Marina Concourse will transform the Royal Pines Marina into a vibrant new waterfront residential, retail and leisure destination, only a short walk from Carrara Stadium, which will play a key role in the Games, and the Royal Pines Resort.
