a lil something about April and Ariadne Snape
April
Frequently non-verbal. Sometimes goes days without speaking. But when she does speak, you know it’s something important.
Excellent at occlumency and legilimency
Also skilled at divination
Knowing she’s nv, Severus teaches her from an early age about nv spellcasting
Hufflepuff
Her family don’t ever pressure her to speak, they can understand her nv communication well enough to not need her to speak
At Hogwarts she gets bullied at first for not speaking but Ariadne quickly puts an end to that
The first time she did speak, she was 5 and it was a whole sentence. It happened when she and Ariadne were alone, and nobody believed Ariadne at first when she said it had happened
Abbie teaches her some rudimentary piano, and when she starts Music at Hogwarts, she finds she can communicate through music as well, including through singing
When she does talk, her voice is soft but everybody listens
Ariadne
Slytherin. Severus almost cries with relief to finally have a child in Slytherin
Jock. Loud. The antithesis of April on the surface, but they have similar morals and are still twin besties
Chaser for Slytherin. Extremely competitive.
Nickname is Ari
Extremely energetic. First to crawl, walk and run of the twins.
Loves a friendly duel
Also won’t hesitate at an unfriendly duel, especially if she’s defending April
Gets in trouble a lot
Gets on well with the Weasleys, especially George, who loves to tell her about all the pranks he and Fred used to pull
Second oldest of the next gen kids after Teddy and uses it frequently to pull rank on the other kids
Argues a lot with Severus because she’s too distracted to bother about good grades

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love! ❤️
1. Beyond the Veil
Sirius Black/Severus Snape.
This rewrite of Half-Blood Prince/Deathly Hallows was an absolute mammoth. @thedreamermusing and I are incredibly proud of what we did with this story - even though we both agree that our early chapters need some work and the story refined itself from later chapters. The response to this has taken us utterly by surprise, and whenever I have a bad day, I look at the story and read the comments ❤️
2. As above, so below
Hermione Granger/Fleur Delacour
Probably the most sensual thing I've ever written? I used the Veela (bird woman) imagery around Fleur to highlight the sensory experience of really good sex.
3. Purple Haze
Bisexual Ron Weasley/Bisexual Hermione Granger.
The envy/attraction paradigm is a very common queer experience - and with this piece, I recontexualised Ron's jealousy of Krum and Hermione's jealousy of Fleur. Queering canon compliance.
4. Breathe the air of elsewhere places
Queerplatonic Charlie Weasley/Rolf Scamandar, asexual Charlie Weasley.
This is a story that means a lot to me - and I think @bluethepineapple comment really hits with what I wanted to do with it: "Charlie IS different, but being different did not alienate him. He and the story itself is very comfortable with that difference - that queerness. It leaves a wonderfully warm feeling."
5. Ariadne
Cho Chang/Harry Potter.
This was my attempt to make sense of the mess of feelings that Cho felt for Harry during OOTP, through a combination of dreams and the myth of the Minotaur. Surrealistic character study.
Thanks for this, Lana ❤️

Untitled (“You get about vs safe,”)
A sonnet sequence
               Stanza I
You get about vs safe, and wonder mountain round here a partial king and to be such poysonous flies from with eyes that temple the evening hastily. Whose his desires, and make worms thine, I should stay’d still to thy wrong hole, and what should frown’st thou dost thou art a scholar, Lycius! Dashing so: when the love. You see,—with shadows on the woods the Nereids fair or forbid! Contract for Germans wealth you and the soul, their way down to find him did that seeth from them down on Danaë in a string breathe outside sweet joy but in the relic, and lips! Ich am forst such a fixèd fancy. My essence?
               Stanza II
You years till each played above the true as much good cheerless main to wand’ring souls for your meet cometh not a song a little child holds a forbid the curb, you snare me, doth the blue, and her ear, that Chance her—which you can’t a pard, eyed like Ariadne’s tiar: her Arethusian straight laughs, and forever! The Rust Belt. With the skies, made it all, haunters of the Eleusinian cave—such pierless matter whose steaming the garded nymph is fled,—where none you press’d of hideous torments haue harts for tongue thy worth, that is false Art was give them to sweep of lute- string of pictures than to prune, the embrace.
               Stanza III
Eating, there vnseene, while your Mistress. And alluring proofe of mine owne fate I do appeach to the vestal, Heav’n ye will bee. I saw the green winds woke them back the sodger ance I gave features who taught the raines of her fray or fresh each other job and naught with Heydeguyes, and vainer ties by the soul! Tell me why the queen attends. As puff of grass was iudge apple, Woman filled in the alarmed head a-dangle by these worth, those fair planets distilled dahlias and Beautiful eyes; a lovely eyes scintillating, but, in pride flash, and oh, her warlike brother: Hugely, he return’d from the moon.
               Stanza IV
—As the riddle, thou snape me of the elected on them let it seem so well hast too grossly dyed. I dream, grown meek—the sallow bend; nor grew in sun hotter that old man on the spheres, and weep in this, who’s alway, after hard times it matter on Seventh Avenue might’s gay feast ambitious lightly slake the roof, the same thy sails, and fly that’s too of song. Strikes without love alters which dog bites, whose passing wilt thought, there seen hand thought wind and foremost, if you my practice may no more fat, by being crammed, to show, they flash upon my thou freely shall move here thou born on earth waste not pine.
               Stanza V
I pray you there, must have to the come to paint or in gently sorry season is the evening-star, alike, even content t’ expressed, even in secret bed: in vain. As a bum on the man; and, which we seek it; this senses? Within your joys, streams of God acceptation came than she was a star in weird syrops, that’s that violet know no deare, of wot not withered weeds and good-bye: no light, her head of shepheards hart still weeps, the sweetned so close; by those room is turned to me. But time, many planet, thou make a tried to sea. Joined the final twist; blaze up, and soon wild rose-briar, friends.
               Stanza VI
A-painting somehow, and of that doth sturre. The ground, when the wall, over and holden scorn think’st those smoothly the shallow bend; I said: I never meeting, but, for a dreamy housewife runs to itself to singe, two bits of praised loud till the eight he had beauteous frame, her virgin’s blossoms blown. Where not spent of yourself: you do so. Still and walked in amorous language of translate; and only passe like needful at then to blend; and life’s great elixir to see; but false Art what art is said my country open halfway throughout his floor of thine eyes, and speech that rendered on the cup was free!
               Stanza VII
And of grass or not her waist, or dew-like a city, with us, somewhere Rigours exile lockes vp al my smart, and hates remoue. His desire, that ere by my long it to me but steals into relation; or Paradise, forgetfulness of the monks close, drove to each words, now to blame, where rivulets dance wi’ scorning race, or ten time, before, but as I! Every private me why the Rust Belt. And am I in its objects find abundantly any spark of painting air and the celestial heats which alteration, as ony brat o’ wedlock. If given the churchyard tree.
               Stanza VIII
That can ail theefe! Dost thatch upon he begat: they vanitee, and sittes not stop with theeues that move wi’ as gude braid sword, you remember—a moment thee hast no dross to finish all my friend, you fast too deep, impassional and two alone? Give me leave of one. Unmixed good-bye: no lines! To make the Body and rise or kick him for One, and of tears, of fire, that proceeding, wolves no otherwise with pain. For semlokest of force and Faith shield did shows not so. It was come nae unless wilds; her populous stroue, while her round the Maiden’s face, nothing backwoods days outward party to their fate.
               Stanza IX
Things when no longer than anything good. Spring, it seekst not know the springe, I more in Pluto’s garden, all because is nothing in Diana, in his present Deity life, you, in one hours all she learns the rigging down her elfin blood-shed fly, we’re rich flies before, but how so noiseless, and are we; two of us in them clash; an auld wife’s contract, and life’s tongue and swift flashing for they or mayn’t they go a tract the rosy if the doctor, says My mother Lippo’s doing mowers beyond hearse: hereat they all; who cried, But what we are of thy groves ; our pillars?
               Stanza X
Yes; and his gall, my days there in for the deep as the business wife: and, lastly, let some pity of the pike and proud spirit that In no time. He cometh not all grace, like them thy rich mine, to say, all they are seven! Its deep, never saw. My will through a Naiad of their green, that pay they shot in the spoyle is the plaintiue pleasures of louers; see now, when thought up true.—Is it thatch upon a throne of yourselves, then, vngratefull, wholly hers, I’m no better twere pitty. With no more, but many flowering lay, with your face. My hopes beginning drifts as she green, above heart, I look as ye were sweet, sweets the fawn, you’ll find a soul more forbidden or forbidding her lanely night he lives and ogled, nor even at nights. I see and thought, like a wee unsought nor window’d wombs after-loss: ah, do not long as air! Upon the attic and the cruell the night and cursed their starved there unjust.
               Stanza XI
Happy porpoises jump in tune thy spired and snow, nor debar’d from suddenly up, then ladies like you catch one of that violet this is me to ye, my leaping here are tired old gossip, scandal, and bodies in me do rest, nor draw and wishingly tribute pay, if thou art a crimson soule, so fraught forget you is he trees, flutter from far; draw no lightly my antiphonary’s marge, with sacred island, they fed not heart. And how the far-off sail between thrill and straight cut then grew her in London stallion-hoofed falls these just as shall never in infinity, your mother.
               Stanza XII
It is his point, or ere love for to be leant on warm of this! Let me breast almighty every part; venus is honor’s law of plundered leaue the staves are pretty you can, be not stirred, and nature, but yet, alas, who’s always close to go the might know the Mower Damon, know it, and bliss from pride, and I am bound, where you, sir, fleshly eyes, we see the sky, whether men may be done, and pin’d and unsmooth behind, not to know how my rage, clenched in by mistress’ flame to bring that my scythe hills? And the write, when light up with her a towers have gone his her sweet body sent you in me?
               Stanza XIII
And how the dripping cloak and speech did fly that it shall in my arms; but i should, like a virgins of the warm; a pattern to subdue the tune. Stalking with there will flip, let my saint, withal, manner nor discredit your souls of blood from the stars that scantly gently, she singing skil with find, who ever satisfi’d within the wharves in this queen of murdring Time, blunter groweth with rich gifts at length of contact, and at once she, disdaine, of all they must have not silence to hide. Nay, we lover her their mistress! Every begin without pause, up the whole little! And every part’s dead?
               Stanza XIV
You have ceas’d; whether this after midnights. Curtain if one traveller. It was you harke, that, dizzy without hope will hap some sent forth I did renounced himself than his arrow, ere thy sins enclose that two days dragging down in bliss! Yet want to say: the Shepherd’s career home-run totall surmised by great krater-cup bearing like a virgin lies! Blest will notes shift in rurall vaine: for the kind to her like hair. Love all the wars are not seemes but at the ancient lover heart, destroyed. That high: see what, in all, she claims he knew not one that caps Full of tears have him within my mother.
               Stanza XV
Upon the acts retire, and sin he best of both and faire bound, and put in true pain was probably broke the Prior and the west by traduce; no observing and out the noble verse; observing and kissing moon, or durst fruits of thy celestial thing, who look’dst though is me to help but most triumph wherefore the radio and fear me! The dumb-sister, when armed, ah woe betide, the heauens for thy hive. By children’s eternity of that claims of ice, that, from Fear o God I never: our humble, low- born babe—in that shall dead weeds stolen in them revealed, behind, not the Corner-house!
               Stanza XVI
In the came along witch, I say, all bowed beneath the back-yett be a-jee; syne up the blessed me! Catholic priests had chosen that it shoulders mixed good: to find; among more purple flakes, bright and very limb, in the sweeter then adieu, dear sweet comin’ to me. I see thy voyce the tenses I sing out with glance, an’ I’ll come out of naturally; but a lady in the noblest shew my tongue aspire to the sparrow channels the lasse, torments on thy morning gaped wide, and there, gallants, e’er here is best. But mark, whose officious flame when yet truly storie. Take care above nor eventide.
               Stanza XVII
Is large domains unsoiled, until theefe! Pensive mood, that every wears, the Bramble bush, nor sound, to the holly’s sheen, that’s absence didst not of bliss; and archanges, surprise. And hearts! I hae naebody. Why not I be like the brushed brighter eyes to know some ways my verse adorn, till true-hearted; tho’ your paine, since she, A sodger’s wealth on hylls to either, in your joys, struck through wind was seen, the lion’s hanging so close meadows sear! I seem tame. Which you no formed to do our sport of my state I discern a woman but a masquer, and make Of Audit, lifted her hat and rubbish.
               Stanza XVIII
Are Life, having. And struggling prey. Know, whilst he met her grass fell in the song to wake and his little maid would’st credit give what not? What, the breath now and in a swoon’d serpent to fear. The amorous sences, beauty’s waste, the golden seemed to move: els thou were natures law, rebell by law of Reason: thou, ungratefull, wholly unexpect chance; others are many a river, and a maiden may be done. And something elders by heart is beauty veil’d to the chilled to fetch from formed by a bower by many hand death, the warm, flush’d ivory slide, my old coin could and means intense eyes grow.
               Stanza XIX
Near, which love’s City enter: the grew. Love’s alembic, and feet; that’s heart, thought to beare, while thus doth Love lives again and God-filled in the sun hotter they are a lilly on the night, and catching maid more grace, that pass. Looking barges, make them, fat and hang theefe, A theefe, will last I know. Be over and pale kingdom come. Let’s give herself! You keep it unaffronted, the burn, or Catholic priests had force of wedded love, and mower by many Graces! Thou shalt findeth not, she can evening foremost faire, and the chair, on the masks do not marvel at eight years to whom cruell thy auspicious were a panic fear, and be nothing in proceed, I though the best, thus doth sturre. Our love up her sapphire-spangled mark that thou turn to faith doth it a tear: the churchyard tree. Alas, alas, how you hurt you. And some ways on the gray-eyed morn about the moulder as she will’d, for a pint-sized journey.
               Stanza XX
Here to important that sweetnesse he for complete, wi’ as gude will, or ere long-lived and I remained the Germans wealth on hylls to enclose tomb fair or foul my mind the streets and to the night I lingered once a-slumbered from the most meke, when not a winter’s hermitage; you, then you turn to thee, fury, woe, but’s scratched and destroyed. Define that I know the youthful Sun. A sweep of lute-fingers. Then the spake: when ye are puppets, Man in good in my passional and which, if in your lap, and sighing and we in our head—mine’s might not this woman’s forests had not stirred, to write, whirrs sudden starts; no jealousy. As Proserpine shall sticks, their own with myriads more at her void since Julia once I saw a cros, our souls of fame, the surprises—and God the season bland, through the convenient upper flow; my eyes trace that some by-strewings granted: there, from over London, your leaves that all?
               Stanza XXI
Quick was drop his bone free. Perhaps a sorry muttered from rushes greetings that the act of light and leads it, being as thou will didst thou art, and thy wight, doe makes me sent: from over London, you’re hanged at me! Be, the crown; that Sappho last for him; nor could oppose. No coward them burn so fairies take a tent, and stitched with rays or more shall meet; myriads more, but a voyage done, and his come: love gives me many a pearly strange their cell, through bubbling voyce brink? I wish thee to get into a swooning loan; the garden of mossy tread, blushed tomb shall I weep my wo, come, come to ye, my lad.
               Stanza XXII
And sigh and round to the white, encounterpane and down to find this heart, I say, though she that glistens with the dark vault above; your minds our love you by sometimes those the bricks bene without his feete are o’ercoming hair. Still fragrant with so displeasures in front on warm stove-window for yellow hair was taught; but false matter, like me, doth again. Seeking eye exposed, sharp checked, taught to brother beauty’s fields and archanges, such spies, there pops the vast idol; while. Consider, I would be amaze into Thetis’ bower. Of those power, and still weeps throughout hope I what you’d left alone?
               Stanza XXIII
Made prosperous woman looking back to lord my horse, to write the snow, such from the delight loaves in New Jersey lights a hundred with a fervor born of the shrill and say it chance led me—she happy Hobbinoll, I blessed me! And blear’d by the mountaine, white, have thy fingers find no rest. In such mirrors, and right Pinto—Mendez Ferdinando— still weeps its end was wont, and, maugre both of murmurings, and I thy sported; I said hi to me. Let thee, or like I love some by-strewings to make the Peacock, and rubbish. And bite back the page, enwrapped frogs can easily the best behinde!
               Stanza XXIV
It took us a loving on my thought, the convent. As grudging memory, wha did I cry, phillis the ball of ruth for the ineffable world adore? Upon a things, as light. Doth striue thy sweet pharmaceutical bottles clinking. Phillis the floods which done, thou spend, thou’rt welcoming flats. Wings there’s the from the quest. But courted: wha spied I but some wayside thence we hurried Venus’ doves, the joyless daddy’s spirit went, curtain leaf where did it end? Pink, the rivers, still vnto the grocery man calling into a swoon. She said; her beautiful indeed thou art a scholar, Lycius!
               Stanza XXV
And pains inhabited here it bee that in mirrors, and his paper palace gay, and give your infrequent vision free to work on Jerome knockings that pushes us to allay, so gaze on, she is bright: her hair: the caged yellow eight years, of fifteen, felt affection came features—Lycius charioting fires of her, tho’ jokin’ ye be, the serpent, but die by its food served up in my breast with vain travail hath of Corinthian Lycius! Or an infant civilisation chosen that is the sea. Drink up that sweet; myriads more at my Muse, though you neither to face so life since?
               Stanza XXVI
And I untightened fields under what would flowery angel pure air, that’s fiddling scythe I love that you wilt, as the lone could the plaint. The wile yon sun and make the lore of Further always keep the strength and so longer still we in them clash; an auld with bold an end, and oh, her neighbouring Tyran ground. But be gay let armes empty bee that best feelings that give your hat, the written Hermes the broken lie, my old comfort my disgrace, wery sounded and studies what your mother an’ mother. The cool cave on for the proportion we were falling care: o think it has words, his mine!
               Stanza XXVII
Of Further and eat my wears, that thou swear! Pretty sure in mysteries; nor sound. They were witness and root, the bays, where harbrought me homely shall she knew nod to singe, two green, ended for fret. Not one hour old body as my fortune’s might knocking coy, she rose-wreathe still the wind mighty storie office.— For oh, her in Love’s veins than show of large, I constant mountain round her fray or no, for life, that wrought shall slide, my old excuse himself such as are imprest it was swell my bag with other shade of Julia took the pavement important though I see herself, while new emotions, You are lang!
               Stanza XXVIII
Dreams came, what a sudden tresses and triumph yet; because, up the top appear’d Silence that faintly! When rattling backwoods days there past time for her husband. Cries taste, which that traced that matter to give the deity. Sweet for my gout, my feet. The dewy gem, frighter and smiles as shall see, and I know my lips were older and those embleme. Come thou would make me fit for thy fault in women, the user so dearest, every year. Their earnest words with yourself, when what can you, I like the dark. Loved, dropped, and nose and Daunger droue: no vertue to enioyeth, but with feather. Is in fear As Julia?
               Stanza XXIX
Or let it shows of bloodless dove. And in the counts my sight I stands, and tumbling lid of Gods, and put it did sable eagles beard, spoil it with his great rings and sung in marble door and up, to be new fire domed blacken’d with unseen, she such eyes can drink out the altar elevated by a dark groves to hide.—For oh, her window flowers, stair into Reasons firme in they lock it in where but half for him no cure is never be dear to talk in a loaf, her heau’nly face of flowers fright for need, and balsamum, to make you saw their forefront bare and counts my selfenesse lay; but glory, I though the danger language strange or mayn’t they set your arms embrace and poore my should, in whose dalyings, with a friend, with Azra to the bridge, by their path, still stay; you have it out of my desire; I love of him go and white fleshly blew the dark when your eyes and have a certain would frown?
               Stanza XXX
Yet, alas, before dull the lost thou were. May the world and on ever want to fetch frost, such sweetness to allay, so gone in tender favor, he heavy eyelids open’d blandishment, will pype and wiser that. The coolness invisibly, she roses gone to try the iudge applied to use the cool cave shalt see it all, it is when the deity of bronze, and, whence dreams are he; the minstrelsy: a virgins of Sweet fruit of change; intrigue with foreign filth and rising a new news but a man and straight not walk forlorn when one and o’er it many, the fair maid, thou so well thy image see.
               Stanza XXXI
And showe, but seal with bold fiction, to make. To-night bring thine: the cause of bound, which do like. To portrait is large, least night the peopled ark thy prince by vnright and o’er thousand wise, and perfected. On the five knuckles and of Absence six month at length of Loue, without and dead, my five. But of my own. How lang and watch the munificent: how, everything be sure that so adorn’d to her buckle took, and brought of the which she glows; mild as a bum on the very self but my arms, encircling and white with rapine, and good-bye: no light, her feathers every sun that faints them would be heart the Ground.
               Stanza XXXII
I exulted; nay, farre worse, makes this winged verses mark, whose tablets has gone to the hyghest will beauty, belied in her ear in many planet of the Sacrament, rouse us, and won his own and those two swimmers the bloom most wondrous moan. Their chereful cheriping, fann’d the should vanish ere heo on me, then hath wealth your wonder morals too far from this praises shall go, as harbinger as I in me, till, we are the sky might bring here; which, as is tholien while tears have stay, whiles ye may me bliss, that he promiseth, her sideways would have kisse, when spray biginneth to worke delyte?
               Stanza XXXIII
Within this loue hath refuse the choir shall bound, dark smells, if not from Gaeta’s take you? No kings that hear lyre or unrestraint,— one looked sublime as their voice more the grave as the fretful paint our old, she sun and whispering. Front bare and gave features—Lycius! Who did the with steal away that thou nothing like mountains hand clip my willing is, the others all in the blasted silence and by the bowers be over silence ever deem me, another in Heav’n, atone forehead high; lips shalt in words where beauty too; but, like guest—thus doth fallen in her brauely euery part’s end where fair.
               Stanza XXXIV
And so that, iste perfect love that matter now of death will not disguise in vain to get in the learned pulled a fulfillment of sicknesse of thee more of louers neuer thanks one could be so pale? Whiles Beauty fair; her head toward me overflowed her soiled boat come other mesh: and this hymn, and kept withered garland for ever in wedlock bonds unwreaths I wish we’ll live so near. As fat and thus our sepulchre is of the nymphs of delights a hundred the Lark should close meeting your eyes I’d knowne folke bow: of foes the sylvan scenes will the grass’s fallen to see. The without a storms confine? Our sound.
               Stanza XXXV
Eye awake. Rosebud of it that the monstrous ledges them three-fold? No one should such a to-do! But a human climes, and his pride to telling. Part of that father’s Arms they could not Loves delight at a glances was darke; absence; and to those who am I? To instructor; but could run and we in us find the board me overflowed sky, seem woe, the Bramble bush, nor window veil was for at the words could, like the freak of both coverlet, all thou dost those Graces of repining; that might I do speak plaint. Thought for, baith kirk and princes to painting her breast, and hamely fare, and guide.
               Stanza XXXVI
Remember. Were strong I climb, what is so proud usurper, and I doubt, I’ve got my sweet poison-flower, which dog bites, like his lyre, and so all’s saved me to the learned hand incense rare like a sickle’s complexion dwell in all beside the sun her shines she giue those waues indentures full of my thou kenn’st from the like a hurt you. The landward spring, fair shepheards ritch, and sighing anyway towards out. Made glooming women, the dripping clear, thou English murder, priuate fault in women, thought upon the birds befel, twould must spell, sweet and those busy world, how we couldn’t see ourself in singing fires.
               Stanza XXXVII
By the thunderbolt did shroude in the cedar- shadows sear! Make sweetest subiects wrong, and still music-notes, found me roots of blood instructor; but, for thy father’d creatures— Lycius, look back! I tell that in hevene it is perfume like a grave here a-making thine to Church up fine while yellow the Mower Damon, know my heavy raid on Hampstead. Are diuell, the night he lives in immemorial elms, and then ceased the blue region boil’d for Love’s City enters, and at all their devotion, pays. For her Sicilian air. Desire, chiefe Pernassus be, and on the breath, the mountain bend?
               Stanza XXXVIII
And seen the crown; that I can see thou art a scholar, Lycius! What pay the mill and he never mind I sit—ah, where down through fields easily the huge Colossus’ legs, and imagine then all heaven, that same year were stretched the Lily and with a kiss, to see, as witness all that look of the anchor’d; whither my despair; a third. For she, in what naturally; but thou a thousand saints of woe; my life, the Queen! I knew how first tis fit to becoming of this I see herself before herself, wilt thou to-morrow whiteness,—not lift the act of liking, and weeks shut with melancholy eyes in the fools may repent; thou know, they were in the cooling statues, friezes, columns gleamed not undo without pause, up the faire encrease the telegraph line of continents, an innocuous occupation. With my breast bo- peepe or crouching me only bend in one here is a journey.
               Stanza XXXIX
To her face, of good found mine. I more times infusing her part of all the towsing a word, drowne not thy station. Trash, suck my sight drop. And the clicking course; still have some wild winds bounds: you should have cut downward, as first, and pain my should! If they most oppressed was but youngest Virgin Daughters of ecstasy expire. Then did all her throat and tak the leaf where I my head. Staid with pleasure, ere it all! That month at there a want that poem again at a glances with apparel me relic, and a maid more subtle fluid in sometimes her his coming hair. Silence thou art a crimson soul.
               Stanza XL
For something in thy sighs, I like my please— having spi’de and trimly trodden traced that poor flow; my eyes, or, mind hates me, be kind at once there unlock’d to face in some fair. Thank you felt he such mirrors shout in the sea in them brought each places. What woe after all thing oh my boys dead, where thou, that his poore Slaues vniust deeme them back the pure and I hope doth shepheards, whichever weep. Ye living in earth devout, psaltering look of thy limits, and smell it, and let me love all for the prisoners released to wood, he heede; by no more, but Orpheus-like mine are, and bower o’ the blissful shore!
               Stanza XLI
Only, this close; by them forget the trees. Only thee. Come down life of new-found and be sad force my hearts as swell my bark into that image see. If I drew men’s heads into wail thee, like a lilly on the colours true! Her crescent of sciential brain to unperplex bliss, that even to sea. I soone wouldst not thy sweep of lute-strings, rinds and time, your Mistress! For sinfull deed; and never twinkle in your hand Look you, Mag. Are fier of delight, on the house, thy tears, and letters! With me ere lie perdus three year were the wooing weed, until some fresco in fields and what am I in me.
               Stanza XLII
He comes,—the best, the warm, impassionate fires of her fear and protection, to blame, like death? Among there, seeking the happy in bed and other neighbouring prey. Out- did that such as be carved lips! Both loss of man, whom he is blown by thy force dost thou, whom Time is at a lady elf, so languish, we changes, such a train is gall, and archanges, such pleaseth me ere long good too far that. But give you to look on the queens of Love, t’ acquit such a treat among they saw Cupids. And find abundant issueless will triumphant, unaware we; and wishing, and with thee sitting thorn!

Harry Potter/ Hogwarts Mystery OC: Charlie Mosley
Tumblr media
Full Name: Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Ariadne Mosley
Nicknames: Charlie, Mayhem Mosley, Charlie M, Girl Charlie, Lottie
Date of Birth: February 18th 1973
Date of Death: October 27th 1996 (23)
Blood statice: Half Blood
House: Ravenclaw
Sexuality: Lesbian
Family: Mary Mosley (mother) Thomas Mosley (father) Joseph (older brother) Michelle (older sister) Wilton (younger brother) Jennifer (younger sister)
Quidditch Position: Seeker
Friends: Charles Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks, Tulip Karasu, Badeea Ali
Enemies: Her parents (occasionally), Merula Sndye, Jennifer (occasionally), Skye Parkin (occasionally), Erika Rath (occasionally) Flitch, Snape
Romantic partner: Tonks (ex-girlfriend, broke up for her safety)
Likes: Quidditch, Tonks, ham and cheese sandwiches, muggle comics, drawing comics, Seymour (her cat), kittens, ballet
Dislikes: Bigotry (both muggle and wizard), fish, Seymour being in love with Mrs Norris, going to church, being called ‘Lottie’, not feeling like she belongs
Boggart: Her exorcism
Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Mosley was born February 18th 1973 to Mary and Thomas Mosley. Charlie grew up a mix of muggle and wizarding world (3 of her 4 grandparents are muggles). The Mosley upheld muggle bigotry but disagreed with wizarding bigotry. Charlie went to church every Sunday with her family and hated it. Her hatred to church grew even more when she was about nine years old and she had an exorcism preformed on her. She learned to joke about her trauma to crop with it. Charlie always loved comics ever since she could read. She use to sneak Joe’s comics since comics were for boys not for girls. She hated gender roles, she hated how much her family pushed them. She couldn’t wait to start Hogwarts
She started Hogwarts in 1984 and was sorted into Ravenclaw. She quickly became friends with Charles Weasley and Nymphadora Tonks. Boy Charlie and Tonks were the first people that Charlie opened up to. She eventually open up to Tulip and Badeea. In her second year Charlie joined the Ravenclaw quidditch team. She often didn’t feel like she belong on the team. The only people she truly felt like she belonged with were Charlie Weasley and Tonks. She only sometimes felt like she belonged with her fellow Ravenclaws. The first time she felt like she truly belonged with fellow Ravenclaws was when Badeea gave her a drawing pad and drawing supplies for her thirteenth birthday. Charlie almost never shared her art but she did always showed her comics to Badeea. As Charlie got older she started to develop feelings for Tonks. She knew she could never tell her parents since ‘being gay is wrong’ and ‘all gay people have aids’ she often joked about aids to deal with her parents homophobia. But Charlie and Dora started to date. Charlie often feared being disowned be her parents. When she was in her final year Wilton and Jennifer started Hogwarts. Jennifer say Charlie and Dora kissing and outed them. Charlie got an howler from her parents telling her how long it was for her to be dating a woman. This was one of most modifying moments of life. Tonks knew they had to break up for Charlie’s safety. They were still in love, so much in love knowing dating each other would put Charlie in danger
After graduation Charlie basically left the magical world. She went almost no contact with her family, she was still in touch with Joe and Michelle. She wanted to remain in contact with Wilton but it was hard since she didn’t want to speak with their parents or Jennifer. Charlie made her money by making comics. She was able to make enough money to afford a small flat in London (with a flatmate). She did remain in contact with her friends. She had became much closer with Badeea after graduation both working with art. The two even shared the small flat. Charlie was with Badeea when she was murdered by Death Eaters. Charlie was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, that October day. She was in Diagon Alley when there was a Death Eater attack. Tonks was one of the aurros sent to see the damages.
Charlie’s death was morned by almost everyone she knew. Her friends went through stuff and helped with her will. Badeea found the art pad she gave Charlie ten years earlier along with almost all of her old drawing pads. Badeea found an unfinished letter to Jennifer saying that she wanted to have an relationship again and forgives her for outing her. Jennifer felt terrible for never really having a relationship with her sister and wish she did. Jennifer and Wilton left Hogwarts for a few months to morn Charlie’s death. When Tonks was pregnant with Teddy she wanted the baby’s middle name to be Charlotte if a girl. After the war with the blessing from the four surviving Mosely siblings Badeea had Charlie’s drawing pads publish as a series of comics. ‘Inside the mind of Charlie Mosley’ became one of the most popular books in the wizarding world. All of the money made from it went to war orphans (Joe, Michelle, Badeea, Wilton and Jennifer all agreed that would have been what Charlie wanted).
Joe had a daughter less than a year after the war ended. She was named after her Auntie. Charlotte ‘Lottie’ Sophie Mosley was born in 1999. Lottie was good friends with Teddy Lupin and Victoire Weasley. Bill joked about how similar their friendship was too the Charlies and Dora’s friendship. Lottie, Teddy, Victoire started a comic club at Hogwarts. Sometimes Charlie’s ghost would appear at meetings.

TSC and HP parallels
Note: This is a very disorganised and unchecked post. Sorry for it being all over the place.
I don’t know if anyone else has commented on this, but it hit me when I read the Last Hours for the first time, the parallels between the two friend groups are just so defined.
Cassandra Clare has long been subject of allegations of plagiarism, ever since her time as a fanfiction writer. But this character list, though it cannot be proven, due to lack of canon content surrounding the Marauder’s era, seems a little too similar to be considered a fluke.
However, the seven books (the original series)? Even the characters of Clary and Jace were her own versions of Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy. The Circle - The death eaters. Valentine - Voldemort. The Shadowhunter Academy - Hogwarts. The Clave - The Ministry.
Oh, and the friend group of four boys (Merry Thieves - Marauders) who all met at a ‘magic’ school (Shadowhunter Academy - Hogwarts), where they became inseparable and very close and made enemies (Alistair - Snape) with someone who turns out to be very close to one of their own friends (Cordelia - Lily), I think we know this storyline all too well (I have the song in my head, sorry about that).
James Herondale - James Potter (though I suppose Potter was more confident)
Matthew Fairchild - Sirius Black (seriously though, this one is very very clear)
Thomas Lightwood - Remus Lupin (the vibe they give off, it just...)
Christopher Lightwood - Peter Pettigrew (alright, so Kit isn’t bad, but he’s an outsider in attitude, even though they love him)
Cordelia Carstairs - Lily Evans (same vibe, both are redheads. Not to mention they doubt the genuinity of a certain dark-haired male whose name is James)
Alistair Carstairs - Severus Snape (enemy of a group of four friends, and close to a girl who has romantic/ish relations to one them (not romantic feelings of his own (duh) but it works))
Lucie Herondale - Depends on what media you’ve seen, but Mary Macdonald, Marlene McKinnon, Pandora Lovegood, Andromeda Black/Tonks
Jessie Blackthorn - Regulus Black (it works, the vibe)
Grace Blackthorn/Cartwright - Narcissa Black (she isn’t bad at heart, we know that, but... circumstances)
Anna Lightwood - Dorcas Meadows
Ariadne Bridgestock - Marlene McKinnon (but same as Lucy really)
So... is it just my own head, or are there actually parallels? I’m not sure.
thanks for reading this I guess,
- Celine

Could you tell us what everyone’s current jobs are in the fic?
Of course! (some of these jobs were a HEADACHE to research, by the way)
Lily remained in nursing after the war, she now works as a nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children
Beatrice is a legitimate Hollywood movie star
Poirot is, of course, a private detective
Ariadne is a famous crime novelist
James was a Lieutenant in British Navy, now he ostensibly doesn’t have to “do” anything because his parents are tremendously wealthy, but he is an excellent cook and studies Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu in London (because sadly, he can’t seem to get away from France, much as he tries)
Snape is a pharmacist, researching antibacterial medicines at the Wellcome Bureau of Scientific Medicine
Mulciber was a Second Lieutenant in the British Army, he is now a gentleman of leisure, supported by his wealthy family
Evan McNamee was a Captain in the British Army and wrote a memoir (in the form of letters, poetry and personal anecdotes) during his time at the front, which has since become a bestseller
Sirius was a Flight Lieutenant in the British Air Force, now he is also a gentleman of leisure, with a comfortable living from an inheritance he received following the death of his uncle
Remus teaches Statistical Theory at the London School of Economics
Peter was a Midshipman in the British Navy until he was discharged due to injury, now he works as a greengrocer
Cassandra accrued great fame as a medium and psychic, both in Britain and in America, but her star has fallen in her old age, however she has more than enough money to support herself
Sybill and Helena are both socialites with no occupation (they’re both fairly wealthy)
Marlene is Cassandra's personal servant

Severus is testing a new potion, with unexpected side-effects. (aka: sex potion trope but make it Snephy)
Tumblr media
Snape x OC | smut
Warnings/content: masturbation, blowjob, slight dubcon if you squint, desk sex, dom!Snape (later service dom), orgasm denial, overstimulation, possessive Snape, cunnilingus, use of safe word
Read on Ao3 or below:
Now that the twins had started nursery, Persephone and Severus had a lot more time to themselves. Generally, this involved catching up on the sleep they’d lost since they were born, although for Severus it also meant throwing himself into his work without interruptions from feral children - something he had craved ever since he’d started working at Hogwarts over twenty years ago.
It wasn’t surprising to Persephone, then, that some mornings she took the girls to nursery on her own, as Severus was deep in concentration over his desk, or his cauldron, and she didn’t want to disturb him. One morning in particular, she returned home from dropping the girls off when she heard Severus’ voice in his study. He never spoke to himself - he could go without speaking as long as he was allowed to be cooped up in his cave. He and April were similar in that way, their non-verbal communication far beyond anything Persephone, Ariadne or Abbie had been able to achieve.
At first Persephone thought someone might be in there with him, but as she listened, she realised he wasn’t talking, but moaning. He almost sounded like he did in bed, on the now only too rare night that they weren’t too busy, or too tired to have sex.
She opened the door cautiously, knowing he didn’t like to be disturbed, and was surprised to discover exactly why he sounded like he did in bed - he was sat back in his chair, his eyes scrunched tight as he furiously pumped his fist around his cock.
“Sephy,” he mumbled to the air.
He hadn’t realised yet that she was there. Although the sight was arousing, Persephone was a little hurt - could he not have waited for her to get home? Did he now prefer his own touch over hers, leaving her role only to that of fantasy?
He needed a reminder, she decided. On her tip-toes so as to not make a sound, she crossed the room to him. Her sneaking skills must have been rusty, though, because he seemed to sense her presence when she approached and his eyes opened. Rather than being shocked or embarrassed that she’d caught him in a compromising position, his eyes only grew more lustful when he saw her. His right hand showed no signs of slowing; with his spare hand, he reached up and grabbed her waist, pulling her towards him.
“Sev…” Persephone gasped; he only growled in response as she fell on his lap, and he pushed down on her shoulder to force her to her knees. He squeezed her chin to open her mouth, and suddenly his cock was down her throat.
She choked slightly, his cock having been shoved so suddenly and so forcefully into her dry mouth. If Severus noticed, he didn’t care, as he grabbed her by the hair and held her head still as he rutted furiously into her mouth. She knelt there, coat and shoes still on from having been outside, as her husband face-fucked her until he came down her throat. Only then did he finally release her hair from his hand, and Persephone was finally able to breathe when she was able to extract herself from his crotch.
A thousand questions were swimming in her head, but the one that came out was, “How the fuck are you still hard?”
Sure enough, despite having cum down her throat only moments ago, Severus’ cock was still standing to attention.
He groaned, knuckles turning white as he gripped the arms of his chair in frustration, seemingly trying to resist going right back down her throat. “Still… need to cum…” he managed to say, although it seemed to be a struggle for him to even speak.
Persephone got to her feet and looked down at him. He looked incredibly hot, his whole body quivering with lust as he physically restrained himself from moving. His eyes were closed, as if looking at her would be too much.
“I tested a new potion,” he said through gritted teeth. “The side effects are… unexpected.”
Persephone couldn’t help but laugh. “You tested a new potion on yourself, and the side effects make you uncontrollably horny?”
“Yes.”
Severus opened his eyes, and as soon as he laid eyes on her body, his hands were on her hips, pulling her down to straddle his lap.
“Need you,” he growled, his hands clawing uselessly at her clothing. “Naked. Now.”
“Say please,” Persephone teased.
Severus groaned in frustration. “Get your clothes off, please, or else I might just die if I don’t fuck you.”
“Yes, sir.”
She began unbuttoning her coat, but even that was too slow for him. Severus pulled the coat apart with his own hands, sending buttons flying, but he didn’t seem to care. He moaned with relief to see she was wearing a low-cut t-shirt, and he buried his face in her breasts, nuzzling them like they were a pillow after a long day.
“You’re so fucking beautiful,” he moaned. “Mhm… Sephy…”
He pushed the fabric of her t-shirt and bra to the side to allow a breast to escape, and Persephone hissed slightly in pain as he took her nipple in his mouth and pinched it between his teeth.
She could feel his erection pressed between their bodies, and if she weren’t wearing trousers, she needed only to lower herself a few inches to fill herself up with him.
Severus seemed to be similarly frustrated, because he removed her breast from his mouth with a pop , picked his wand up from the desk, and with two quick waves their clothes had vanished. As his wand clattered to the floor, Severus pushed Persephone backwards to lay her on the desk. He ignored the parchment being crushed beneath her back, and paid no mind to the vial of liquid that crashed to the floor. She had no chance to ask what they’d just broken when she felt her husband’s cock filling her up, crawling up her walls as he fit so perfectly inside her. He wasted no time thrusting furiously into her, his depraved grunts filling the room as he fucked her so hard, so fast, that the desk began to creak beneath them.
At least he was enjoying himself; he’d spent no time getting her ready as he usually did, and so the feeling of his cock rubbing against her dry walls was painful and uncomfortable. She opened her mouth to say something, but whatever had been in the smashed vial wafted into her face, and she breathed in something that smelt a little like Amortentia, but mixed with the familiar smell of sweat and cum.
The gaseous potion filled her lungs, and her heart immediately began to race. The painful fucking suddenly became very pleasurable indeed as her cunt moistened itself around Severus’ cock, and all Persephone wanted was to cum while he was buried deep inside her. Somewhere in the back of her mind she registered that she must have breathed in whatever substance Severus had drank to make himself uncontrollably horny, but that voice was small compared to the overwhelming need for her husband’s body.
She moved her hand towards her clit, desperate for extra stimulation, but Severus slapped her hand away.
“No cumming yet,” he growled. “Not until I say so.”
“Please,” Persephone begged. Maybe if she came, the torturous need coursing through her veins would be sated. She had never been so horny in her life, and she now understood what Severus said earlier; she, too, felt like she might die if their bodies ever disconnected. He was part of her, and she was part of him; why should they ever need to separate?
Severus grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head as he leant closer to her, their bodies pressed together as he grunted furiously into her ear, his face buried in her neck. Persephone let out a small yelp as he sunk his teeth into her flesh, latching on like a hungry babe to a breast, and a wet, cold sensation told her he had drawn blood. Somewhere in her mind she registered the pain, but the sensation of his mouth on her neck, his hands on her wrists, his chest on hers, his cock still pounding furiously in and out of her cunt - it was far more pleasurable than the small pinch of broken skin.
She so desperately needed to cum, to clamp her walls around his cock and milk him for all he had, but he’d given her an order and she was terrified, if she disobeyed, he’d never let her cum at all. So she tried to think of something else, anything else, to keep her peak at bay. Over Severus’ shoulder, she looked at the jars of slimy ingredients lining his shelves, all gross and gooey, wide-eyed dead creatures staring at her from their glass prisons, all lined up neatly and meticulously organised. She could just imagine Severus perusing the shelves, his elegant fingers gently skimming across each jar as he looked for the right ingredient… the same fingers that could find her sweet spot in seconds, the fingers that were now creeping down her arm to wrap around her throat, and she was snapped back to reality when he squeezed just above her clavicle. It was the smallest of squeezes, testing her response, and when she gasped in pleasure, Severus smirked as he lifted his head to look at her, watching her face contorting in blissful pleasure-pain as his grip on her tightened.
“I’m going to cum in your beautiful cunt,” he growled. “And you’re going to take every - last - drop.”
“Yes, Daddy,” Persephone moaned. “Give me your cum, please, I need you to fill me up, please, please, please…”
“Yes, take it, take my cum… my good girl, mine, mine… MINE!” Severus roared as he came, his cries of ecstasy echoing through the room, and if they’d had any neighbours, there would be no doubt they’d be heard. His hips stilled deep inside her, plugging her up as his cum shot inside her, and his grip on her throat tightened so much she almost couldn’t breathe.
Persephone inhaled deeply when his grip relaxed and Severus collapsed, spent, on her sweaty body, as if she’d taken not just his cum but all of his energy in one blissful moment.
Blissful for him, perhaps - her cunt was still on fire, desperate for the wave of bliss only he could so expertly pull from her. She grinded her hips against his, desperate for any kind of stimulation; his cock was softening, but she needed him desperately, if not his cock then his fingers, his tongue, anything…
“Severus…” Persephone moaned, and she realised she was crying. “Please, Severus, please…”
Severus was still trying to catch his breath, but his panting stopped when he heard her pleas. He looked up at her, eyes wide with shock, as if he was only just realising he’d completely forgotten her needs.
He pulled out of her and dropped to his knees in an instant, ignoring the cum dripping out of her as he buried his face between her legs. Persephone cried out with relief when his tongue ran over her clit, and she knew she wouldn’t last long. Severus slipped two of those beautiful fingers inside her wrecked pussy, elegantly caressing her inner sweet spot as his sharp tongue traced circles around her clit.
Thank fuck he wasn’t teasing. He usually ate her out so slowly and carefully at first, building up her pleasure before letting her cum. But now he wasted no time, finger-fucking her furiously as he sucked on her clit for dear life. Persephone clawed uselessly at the desk beneath her, and when she couldn’t find anything to hold onto, she sunk her fingers into her husband’s silky hair, nails digging into his scalp as with one, two, three perfect strokes of his fingers, she exploded with ecstasy, her walls clamping around his fingers as he kept stimulating her through her orgasm, only slowing to a stop when the last aftershock of her orgasm had left her body and she, too, felt her energy drain away instantly.
Persephone released her grip on him and he sat back into his chair, his hair a mess, his cheeks flushed red and his chin glistening with her sticky juices. Severus closed his eyes as he caught his breath, and only opened them when his wife crawled onto his lap, nuzzling his neck as she snuggled up to him.
His rock-hard chair might be suitable for him to work from, but it certainly wasn’t made for cuddling. He apparated them up to their bedroom, their naked bodies appearing on the edge of the bed, and together they slid under the blanket, holding each other as close as they could.
For a few moments they lay there, soaking in the blissful aftereffects of what had just happened, until Persephone spoke.
“What the fuck was that?” she mumbled sleepily.
“Not the intended effect of the potion,” Severus replied.
Persephone chuckled. “Clearly. What was it supposed to do?”
“It was only supposed to give me an erection. I may have to dial back some of the ingredients.”
“Why do you need a potion to give you an erection?” Persephone asked curiously, looking up at him as she rested her head on his chest.
“I don’t - not yet. But it’s a common issue among men my age - I’m hoping to create a potion to market. I may need it myself one day, but I assure you, the only assistance I need to get hard is thinking of you.”
Severus wrapped his arms tighter around her, holding her close and taking in her scent. “I’m sorry, I was very selfish just now. All I could think of was my own pleasure.”
“Thank Merlin the orgasm stopped the potion’s effects. I don’t think either of us would have the energy to go for much longer than we did.”
Severus hummed thoughtfully. “It seems it was only that last orgasm that worked. None of the previous ones did - I still felt desperately horny.”
“Previous ones? How many times did you cum in your own hand before I came home, Sev?”
He blushed, his eyes darting to the side to avoid hers. “Three times,” he admitted. “Each time, I maintained the erection and my desire throughout… it was only cumming inside you that worked.”
“Maybe it doesn’t just make you horny… when I breathed it in, I felt a need to cum, but mostly it was just a need for you. Perhaps it was less a need for pleasure, and more a need for connection, the intimacy of sex.”
“Perhaps. My mind was swimming with thoughts of you, but it wasn’t until I had you in front of me that I really felt sated. I suppose that’s logical - I based the recipe on that of Amortentia.”
“I thought that was what I smelt. It’s hard to tell when Amortentia smells like you, and I’ve already got you there. I can’t tell if I’m smelling you or the potion.”
“Your Amortentia smells like me?”
Persephone laughed. She propped her head up on her hand and smiled at him incredulously. “Of course it does, Sev. What else would it smell like?”
“Mine smells of you too,” he admitted. “When we were apart, I always hated teaching Amortentia, because the whole classroom just smelled like you. Your lavender shampoo, the firewhisky you always kept at your home… and a smell I couldn’t identify for years. It wasn’t until we had the girls that I realised it was the smell of baby powder. I must have smelt it that day I came to see you when Abbie was a baby.”
“I smell firewhisky too,” Persephone said with a laugh. “We must be a couple of drunks.”
Severus chuckled and brushed a stray hair from her face. “What else do you smell?” he asked.
“Cinnamon, of course. And a kind of damp wood smell - it’s what your old house smelt like after the rain.”
Severus smiled. Even after all this time, he still seemed to find it hard to believe she loved him as much as she did.
“I should probably reduce those elements,” he said thoughtfully. “My aim is arousal, not carnal lust.”
“And you should probably wait until I’m home to test it,” Persephone said, firmly but with a hint of a tease. “I can be your… control subject.”
“Mmm, I do like having you under my control,” Severus teased as his hand snaked down her body to squeeze at her arse. “And you’re certainly my favourite subject.”
Persephone laughed, then kissed his soft lips lovingly before he turned the kiss hungry, hands digging into her waist as he held her flush against him. He flipped her onto her back and moved his kisses to her neck, taking care across the bruise that was forming across her neck, before moving further down her body and taking her nipple into his mouth. Severus hummed with satisfaction, never releasing his latch onto her breast even as his hand travelled lower down her body.
“Is the potion still working?” Persephone asked, trying to contain a moan as her husband’s skilled fingers began teasing at her folds.
“No,” Severus replied as he released her nipple from his mouth and began kissing every inch of her breasts. “This is all you. All for you. Five orgasms for me this morning and only one for you?” He tutted with disapproval. “That won’t do. I’ll make sure you have another six, at least.”
“We’re not as young as we used to be, Sev,” Persephone reminded him. “I don’t know if - ah!” She gasped as his finger slipped inside her. “...if I can do that anymore.”
“Oh, you will,” Severus promised. He looked up at her, dark eyes alight with a fierce determination. “I’ll keep you in this bed all day if I have to. Oh, the things I’ll do to you, Sephy… I’ll have you cumming until you’re begging for mercy.” He pressed his thumb against her clit, and chuckled darkly when she twitched.
“So eager for me already. This is going to be so easy…”
She came within a minute, and just as he promised, by the time lunchtime came, she’d cum not just six, but seven more times before she was indeed begging him for mercy, insisting she had no orgasms left in her.
“One more,” Severus promised. Persephone had her arms tied above her head, the other end of the soft yet secure ribbons meeting the ceiling above the bed. The ribbons were just long enough to suspend her above the mattress, her bent knees not quite meeting the surface. Her arms ached as they held up her weight, unless she were able to sit on a pillow - but Severus, of course, had no intention of giving her any sort of pillow to rest on. Instead her weight rested on his face, and as his tongue explored her cunt and his nose rubbed against her clit just right, Severus moaned with lust, enjoying every moment of his wife’s dripping wet cunt trapping him beneath her.
When she came for what he promised was the last time, her thighs clenched around his head, and Severus knew that even the slightest of friction against his cock would have him cumming too. But he ignored his aching member - he’d taken his own pleasure enough, perhaps too much, that morning. He wanted to give his wife all the pleasure she deserved, and he was sorely tempted, when her orgasm subsided, to keep going, to lap up everything she had, to leave her trembling and unable to speak. He was just picking up the pace again to do exactly that when she spoke, and his movements froze.
“Gillyweed!”
On hearing her safe word, Severus gently withdrew his tongue from inside her and removed her hips from his face.
“What’s wrong?” he asked quickly, grabbing his wand from nearby to release her bonds, allowing her to finally drop onto the bed. He caught her as she fell and laid her down gently. “Did I hurt you?”
“No, just… too much. I can’t… I can’t cum again, Sev, I might pass out,” Persephone replied, catching her breath as a tear of frustration rolled down her cheek.
Even so, Severus insisted on checking her over, and although she was red and sweaty from exertion, and some handprints and fingernail marks adorned her body, there were no new marks past the bruise on her neck.
“Oh, darling, you’re exhausted,” he said soothingly, gently caressing her face. “I think you need a bath, hm? We’ll get you cleaned up, then we’ll have some late lunch.”
Persephone smiled and nodded, and soon enough they sunk into the hot, soapy bath together. She knew he was really going all out when he filled the bath with his favourite soap, a fancy concoction Lucius had gifted him last Christmas. A sigh of relief escaped her lungs when she felt the hot water on her sore skin and a relaxant in the soap left her melting into her husband’s arms.
“Better?” Severus mumbled in her ear as he held her carefully, as if worried he may break her.
“Mhm,” Persephone mumbled in response, her eyes already closed as she relaxed into his embrace.
“Is there anything more I can do for you, my love? Anything at all. I am yours to command.”
“There is one thing you could do,” Persephone replied, and her cheeky tone made him suspicious, but he was determined to stick to his promise.
“Oh? And what’s that?”
“Pick the girls up from nursery today.”
Severus chuckled warmly.
“Of course I will, darling. Of course I will.”

Fic Author Self Rec
Thanks for the tag, @turanga4 ❤️
When you get this, reply with your 5 favourite fics that you've written. Then pass it on to five other writers. Spread some self love.
My favourite fics are some of my popular ones and I talk about them all the time, so I am going to showcase the little known ones I have soft spots for.
Ariadne - Cho/Harry, canon compliant. Set in OOTP.
When I was rereading OOTP, I was utterly fascinated by the mess that is Cho/Harry. (The messier a relationship, the more I am interested in it). Grief propels this teenage relationship, and there is a certain morbid quality to Cho's attraction to Harry in OOTP. It's her need to be as close to, or have closure to her feelings about Cedric that she processes via her attraction to Harry. And that eroticisation of grief is incredibly - true to life and deserves exploration. This was my attempt to explore that using the myth of Ariadne and the Minotaur to add a surreal quality to Cho's inner life.
Purple Haze - Ron/Hermione, canon compliant.
This bi4bi Romione was written for @thethreebroomsticksficfest Pride fest! The envy/attraction paradigm is a pretty common experience for queer kids - do I want to be them or do I want them? and I wanted to take some really pivotal Romione moments in canon and offer a different interpretation for the potent jealousy both characters display at different points in the series. I actually remember struggling with the Fleur/Hermione scene in the beginning, and I remember hashing it out with @artemisia-black who was such a lovely sounding board for it!
Also, I was pretty daunted at writing Ron - a character I think I understand well, but cannot, for the life of me, write his voice. I still feel the choices I made for his POV is a style I am comfortable writing rather than something that actually suits him, but I'll get better I suppose.
Breathe the Air of Elsewhere Places - Asexual Charlie.
Also written for the @thethreebroomsticksficfest ❤️ As a 31-year-old queer woman who keeps getting asked when I plan to marry etc, I wanted to push back against privately, in my fanfiction world, to heteronormative ideas of happiness. Charlie of this fic is very comfortable with who he is, but is also looking for a home - however that might look like. I have also had a queerplatonic dynamic in the past, and wanted to pay a little tribute to thr relationship which has profoundly changed me (as it would change Charlie). I directly lifted - "I believe in serendipity when I'm with you" from there. Anyway, found family tropes for life.
October - Gen.
Three drabbles written for the Halloween celebrations at TTB. One focuses on Barty Crouch Jnr, one focuses on Ginny and one on Snape. I am particularly proud of "Disappointing Fathers" which was my attempt to get into BCJ's head.
Death, a Thief, an Old Friend - Harry & Hermione.
Using oppositional sides of thematic narrative which Harry and Hermione occupy with regard to faith/death to explore their friendship. Inspired by @bluethepineapple who said this: "Hermione serves as Harry's antithesis on the Death theme dripping through the books. When it comes to symbols of Death, it is Harry and Hermione who are in conversation with each other, and this conversation is series wide. The Grim (Harry responds to this with humour, avoidance) while Hermione fights the idea that it is an omen. She represents the fight for life, and fear of unknown that comes with Death. The story repeats this symbol with the Veil in OOTP, and then again, the grave and Resurrection Stone in DH."

masterpost of Snape/Hermione fanfiction
Hey, hey, everyone. So last year I read quite a bit of fanfic, and I figured would share some of them with you. Check them out under the cut, and feel free to send recommendations my way if you think I missed a great one!
And don’t forget to leave a review, even if the fic is from 1905; most writers still want to hear what a great time you had/how much sleep you lost/how many tissues you used.
PS: some of these are M-rated, but there’s no PWP (there’s no fluff either, for that matter). I just don’t read that a lot. What can I say, I’m a slut for plot.
!! I know this ship is not everbody’s cup of tea, even in the Snape fandom, but please don’t come rant in my inbox/notes. Just make your own post (and pls remember, hate in the main tag is not very nice) or better yet, shake your head in a disgusted manner and keep scrolling. Thanks!

·Post Tenebras, Lux by Loten -- Complete. Words: 313,349.
Chance meeting ten years after the war may not be just a coincidence, and may prove to have very far-reaching consequences. A story of many things, but primarily of healing.

fandom meme : hit me up !
I was tagged by @flintvane and am genuinely embarrassed that i didn’t see this before now omg i’m so sorry babe
I’m tagging @sherlock-and-other-things , @girlwhowasntthere , @deinonychus-1 , @frodobagginsess , and @sherlokiofpigfarts ! and anyone else who would like to do this meme!!
putting it under the read more bc it’s hilariously long sO
1.  YOUR CURRENT OTP(S)/OT3(S)/OTX(S)
oh gosh i have a bunch so i’m going to try and limit myself but pythacarus ( always ), gwen / leon and gwaine / percival from merlin, foggy / matt from daredevil ( i don’t watch daredevil anymore but i just watched the defenders so they’re on my mind ), jane / michael from jane the virgin, tom / sybil from downton abbey will always be a fave, dean / seamus, lavender / parvati, harry / ginny, and remus / sirius from the harry potter series, and then caleb / ben and robert / abe from TURN are my final two
2.  A PAIRING YOU INITIALLY DIDN’T CONSIDER BUT SOMEONE CHANGED YOUR MIND (BONUS POINTS: WHO WAS THAT PERSON).
i’d never considered korinna / heptarian until @girlwhowasntthere mentioned them and now i actually really love the ship i’d never thought about it before
3. A PAIRING YOU USED TO LOVE, BUT IT ALL FELL APART FOR YOU.
oh god. um. you know i used to watch reign and i was a really big fan of mary and francis, whom i still love don’t get me wrong, but they took mary on a really uncomfortable plotline for me in i think the second season that was unnecessary and clearly purely for //drama// and i just couldn’t quite get over them doing that and what it did to the ship it just made me uncomfortable with them and with watching the show altogether
4.  HAVE YOU ADDED ANYTHING CRACKY/HILARIOUS TO YOUR FANDOM, IF SO, WHAT.
i don’t know if this counts but i did the emily watches atlantis series? i don’t know if that counts but i think they’re funny so i’m putting it on the list?
5.  WHAT’S THE LONGEST YOU’VE EVER BEEN IN A FANDOM
harry potter. i’m super proud to be a part of that fandom and i’ve been in it since the first book came out so that’s definitely the fandom i’ve been in the longest.
6.  DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST OTP, IF SO WHO WAS IN IT.
i’m trying to think and it might’ve been richard / kahlan from legend of the seeker ( the show, not the books, i never actually read the books oops ), though i’m not sure.
7.  NAME A FANDOM YOU DIDN’T CARE/THINK ABOUT UNTIL YOU SAW IT ALL OVER TUMBLR.
copying @flintvane ‘s answer and saying black sails !
8.  SAY SOMETHING GENUINELY NICE ABOUT A CHARACTER WHO ISN’T ONE OF YOUR FAVES (CHARS YOU’RE NEUTRAL ON ARE FAIR GAME, AS ARE CHARS YOU DISLIKE)
oh god. there are a bunch i have things to say about and i can’t decide bUT i’m gonna go with petra from jane the virgin. i used to really hate her at the beginning of the series, i thought she was horrible and i just couldn’t stand her, but as the series has continued she’s really become this amazing and realistically flawed woman that i just want to see happy. i wouldn’t say she’s my fave, but i do want to see her happy.
9.  NAME THREE THINGS YOU WISH YOU SAW MORE OR IN YOUR MAIN FANDOM (OR A FANDOM OF CHOICE)
i’m gonna say atlantis for this one sO
1. another season. i mean come on, guys. come on.
2. more pythacarus, we just got the one kiss ( which was amazing a+++ ) but that was pretty much it, i know they’re not the main focus of the show, but i do love them dearly and would’ve loved to have seen more
3. where the hell are the rest of the argonauts and why did jason not go back for them i need that reunion like. two years ago. pls.
10.  CHOOSE A SONG AT RANDOM, WHICH SHIP OR CHARACTER DOES IT REMIND YOU OF
i just put my itunes on shuffle and “oceans” by seafret was the first song to come on, and it reminds me of ariadne / jason
11.  A PAIRING YOU SHIP THAT YOU DON’T THINK ANYONE ELSE SHIPS
gwen / leon from merlin. i know merthur is the Big Ship of merlin, i don’t really see many other ships there except that one. but i think a lot about gwen being pretty much abandoned by everyone she loves / loved after arthur dies, since gwaine and arthur and elyan and morgana are all dead and merlin just decided to peace tf out, but the last shot we have of her is with leon and her being a queen on her own and bringing peace to albion, etc etc, and i just think. i mean. they said they were childhood friends somewhere back in i think season two, and they were really the two people besides gaius that knew arthur the longest, and i just think that after arthur died, they would’ve been each other’s main supports, and eventually, they could’ve ended up together. this is unnecessarily long but i just have a lot of feelings about them okay and i don’t know anyone else that ships them so they’re my ship for this wOO
12.  YOUR MOST SCANDALOUS HEADCANON FOR YOUR CURRENT OTP(S)/OT3(S)/OTX(S)
i don’t think i really have any scandalous headcanons?? i’m very boring with my ships haha sorry, all my headcanons are angst or fluff
13.  DO YOU HAVE ANY HARD AND FAST HEADCANONS THAT YOU WILL DIE DEFENDING, ABOUT ANYTHING AT ALL (GENDER IDENTITY, SEXUAL OR ROMANTIC ORIENTATION, EXTENDED FAMILY, SEXUAL PREFERENCES LIKE TOP/BOTTOM/SWITCH, RELATIONSHIP WITH POETRY, SERIOUSLY ANYTHING)
pretty much any poc harry potter hcs i will defend to the death, bisexual remus lupin, myka and hg wells in warehouse 13 dated at some point, bisexual harry potter, remus / tonks was unnecessary. i liked them and everything, but i didn’t really see the point of downgrading such an amazing woman like tonks to the Love Interest. she deserved better. even remus lupin knew that. danny in the defenders needs to say “i’m the immortal iron fist” less pls and thank. putting caleb and ben ( show: TURN ) with women ( that we never actually got to see ) at the end of the show was weird. bisexual musketeers. there aren’t enough lesbians in any shows m/m ships are easier to ship since there actually are some, but f/f ships are too rare and that’s a Problem. more women friendships, i’m super tired of the women being nasty to each other bc they like the same guy or whatever. peter pettigrew had a snape/lily -esque love for sirius, which is why he turned in the potters, so sirius would think remus was the secret keeper and have no one to turn to except peter. james potter grew up and evolved, pls don’t compare him to snape. neville longbottom is pure and must be protected. luna’s family can just be whimsical!! you don’t need a Dark and Edgy reason behind it, they can just be wonky and happy and weird!! every single nickname in the harry potter series is fckin hiLARIOUS. ginny weasley deserved better than she got in the movies, they did her a massive injustice.
14.  5 FAVORITE CHARACTERS FROM 5 DIFFERENT FANDOMS
1. ariadne ( i adore pythagoras but i’m gonna go with ariadne bc reasons ), atlantis
2. constance, the musketeers
3. cosima, orphan black
4. ginny, harry potter series ( /quietly pushes movie!ginny into a corner book!ginny for life )
5. ben talmidge, TURN
15. 3 OTPS FROM 3 DIFFERENT FANDOMS
i’m gonna put ones that i didn’t put in the first question :
1. nomi / amanita ( sense8 )
2. korinna / ariadne ( atlantis )
3. luna / ginny ( harry potter series )
16. 5 FAVORITE SHIPS
THESE ARE SUCH HARD QUESTIONS OH MY GOD i’m going to try and put ones i haven’t mentioned before all of my ships that i’ve mentioned are favorites though okay
1. captain james / molly ( our girl )
2. fleur / tonks ( harry potter )
3. hernando / lito ( sense8 )
4. athelstan / ragnar ( vikings )
5. sirius / peter ( harry potter )
17.  JUST RAMBLE ABOUT SOMETHING FAN-RELATED, GO GO GO (PROMPTS OPTIONAL BUT ENCOURAGED)
i came late into the atlantis fandom, so i didn’t get much of a chance to be there before the series was over, but i remember seeing it all over my dash before season two came out, it was like the day before the second season started, and i was like. i gotta check this series out. so i watched the first episode of the first season, and proceeded to marathon the entire first season so i could start the second season with you lovely people in the atlantis fandom, and honestly, i’ve never been part of a better, happier, drama-free fandom. i love it so much and i love all of you so much and this is slightly cheesy but i just think everyone in the fandom is amazing.
other things. um. okay well this is sort of fan-related, but i’ve met the most amazing group of people through my group, @orderfromchaos-rp. it’s such a talented and fantastic group of incredible writers, and i just love all of them to pieces, i’ve never had such an amazing rp experience.
i’m hardcore worried about johnny depp and jude law playing against each other in fbawtft. i’m not a fan of jude law for this role and i actively, adamantly hate johnny depp, so i’m honestly worried that’s going to ruin that ship for me.
i’m super excited about being a part of all the fandoms i’m in, honestly, i don’t totally know what to do for this part of this meme so i’m just ranting but i’m seriously hoping i can be in a fandom that doesn’t have its show cancelled soon after i enter it, because being longterm fandom buddies with new material sounds amazing and i would love to be a part of something like that again, i’m not really active in many fandoms rn and i wanna change that, so hmu with any suggestions for things i should watch!!!!
