One thing I love about Sooga that I realized earlier today is that that whole thing about “A message that concerns Zelda’s impending death” was just him testing the waters to make sure Astor’s words held some truth and Master Kohga wasn’t just being manipulated by some random schmuck off the road (Hence “I suppose destiny is at work then”)
And Master Kohga wasn’t with him either, nor is he ever shown to be aware of what went down, so this was an attack led exclusively by Sooga

!!possible minor spoilers for Tears of the Kingdom, Age of Calamity, and Breath of the Wild!!
Okay so, I've been playing tears of the kingdom, great game by the way, and then I got to thinking. how would that play out in the age of calamity timeline thing??
Since Age of Calamity is an alternate universe of the events in botw, where instead of the champions dying and all that stuff, they lived and won against Ganon the first time. And so I was thinking, since y'know Link and Zelda weren't basically in a state of dormancy for 100 years and had probably had a normal life after that, and lived their normal lifespans, what would be happening those approximate 100 years later?
There are so many different possibilities going on in my head. Like, Link and Zelda likely would've passed on by the time of totk events if we're in the aoc timeline. So, would there be new incarnations to find ganondorf? and if he wasn't found, would he just be sitting there for awhile, or would he just break free and wreck havoc?
The last two possibilities I can think of is maybe Link and Zelda just being super old and guiding the new incarnations. I mean, Impa we know lives to over 100 years old as of totk's time. Or maybe we just have old Link and Zelda fighting him lol. or maybe Purah could use that age regressing rune on them.
I'd say maybe they could go back in time, but Zelda likely wouldn't have the secret stone to go back in time is the thing.
I just had this thought randomly and I needed to write it down before I forgot lol

A bit of headcanon (?) Revali before being a champion timeline brainrot that I'll post so I can take note of since I was making a character sheet for my oc and may help others too if they loved both AOC and BOTW cutscenes like me.
AOC shows a different timeline from BOTW, so for awhile, I was confused how I wanted to implement that, then I totally forgot- Zelda literally visits Revali in another time before the DLC cutscene as written in Revali's Diary. So, I came up with this headcanon.
I just think the AOC Cutscene technically happened as the first time we meet Revali. The problem would be because Link didn't have the Master Sword until later on when all the champions gather to get it in Korok Forest WHICH wouldn't make sense since Revali refers to Link as "the little knight with the darkness-sealing sword" in the BOTW DLC.
I like to think that just like in the journal, Revali heard rumors about Vah Medoh and heard rumors as well as it being just as or even more important than the darkness-sealing sword (Because you know, rumors can be exaggerated.) Anyway, somehow, when Zelda comes to visit Rito Village, there was a snowstorm just like in AOC. Difference is, Revali uses this in advantage to test Link's strength as I do recall one of the secret dialogue he has in the DLC that he'd love to settle the score with Link. They have their little duel just like in AOC until the princess stops them both from their duel much to Revali's dismay. Zelda then dismisses Link to talk to Revali. This is where the fourth entry of Revali's Diary is implemented. When Revali hears that he's just there to support Link, he's totally not for it. It's only when Zelda pleads and just like in the diary, Revali thinks about it and gives her time before telling her. BOTW's DLC Cutscene happens sometime later after. Link isn't around since Zelda was constantly trying to avoid him during the whole time until he rescued her. We all know what happens in the cutscene and the rest is history.
I just made this for anyone who likes continuitiy and a timeline for their stories, so I hope I made it somewhat clear?

I’m not the biggest fan of King Rhoam but I’ll give him this one. It seems only right that he make amends and bond with his daughter by helping her rebuild the very robot she once helped her mother with, to rebuild the robot he once called a childish plaything. It’s never too late while he’s still alive.

Age of Calamity would never have been complete without this last DLC. I can understand why some don't like it, and that's no problem. I have some problems with it, myself.
But I overall think this put the final touch on the game, and it gave what we were waiting for: more character interactions!
ALSO. REVALI. LAUGHED. GENUINELY AND HAPPILY. HE FREAKIN' LAUGHED!
Massive Age of Calamity dlc2 Ending Spoilers but like,
I’ll never get over Revali letting Tulin fall asleep on his lap and Teba just laughing softly at the whole thing.
Mipha patting both baby Sidon and adult Sidon’s head like the precious little brothers they both are to her.
Impa being so excited about Terrako touching her finger tenderly! And everything else really this dlc was so wholesome asdadasdasd!!!!

*Tears of the Kingdom Spoilers*
Playing through the Wind Temple quest has given me even more love and respect for Revali in retrospect because now it’s confirmed that he was literally just a guy™️.
All of the other champions were direct descendants of the sages who fought in the Imprisoning War, except him. He had no special powers or magic passed down through his bloodline, he was just some guy who was good with a bow. He had to develop and perfect his own technique to help him in battle on his own, no other Rito had ever done it before.
Which makes the fact that he, without any noble blood or fancy magic, was able to fight alongside the descendants of the sages AND the Hero of Destiny AND the divine princess/descendant of Rauru and Sonia even more impressive. His outward confidence and ego makes sense when you consider that he was constantly trying to prove himself to everyone, that he was a strong warrior despite not being born with power.
It’s also really sad that in the end, Revali’s bloodline ended with him whereas the other champions at least got to die knowing that their family and loved ones would live on. The only things that serve as a reminder of his existence are the Great Eagle Bow and Revali’s Landing. Almost everyone in Zora’s domain remembers Mipha and honors her memory with an entire courtyard for her statue, Daruk has his face carved in a literal mountain, but Revali is rarely mentioned in TotK. (Urbosa doesn’t really have anything but shhh this aint about her) No one that knew him is still alive, except maybe the former chief owl guy?
That also begs the question of wtf was the Rito sage doing at the time of the Calamity, but honestly they probably were just some random person with no combat experience, given that they didn’t know they were a sage :P
tldr; Revali is the best champion no I don’t take criticism

Age of Calamity is a HOLY send from Nintendo, because what do you mean we get to play as our Favorite Champions and have them to survive the Calamity and get the happy ending they deserve we know they needed?
Even moreso, they were able to interact with each other in wholesomeness and along with their Century Apart Successors???
I couldn't even imagine how excited everyone was during this time 😭 (I'm 4 years late into this)

I wanted to play with sae with Zelda’s and a Zelda’s meet au. Here’s how they all met. The gate of time and Terrako’s bizzare magic forced everyone together. Biggest issue with this au is that it takes place after all my aus so this is after kotg but I don’t have the patience to play with it after so…. Yeah. But yeaaaah. I might continue this, I might not. But I enjoyed this. Very proud of how some panels turned out.

Something something AoC Purah vs TotK Purah. How AoC gave us a glimpse of who she was pre-Calamity; how as a researcher in her 20s, she wore what looked like a Sheikah lab coat, shorts, boots, and had a stylized dyed red stripe in her hair. She would often pose for Sheikah Slate image captures or as part of her attacks alongside Robbie and their tech. A (to quote Wikipedia) “science mishap” made her physically young and she adopted a magical girl-like appearance in BotW. In TotK, she has a mature demeanor: a woman who is 120+ years old, but enjoying another round of physically living as a young adult. She still poses, but far less frequently, and more as a commander giving a salute to her soldiers.
