Ok I know it’s the festive season so I didn’t want to bring this up, but uh maybe spare a thought for the all the poor haggis (an endangered species!!!) who have been fattened up to excessive weights just so you can have your nice Burns supper :(

#Friendly reminder: a fat haggis is an unhealthy haggis; they're supposed to run wild around the hills not be farmed!#Also they' don't do well in captivity and especially not with a prey species like the neep!#Anyway historians think that the traditional haggis was obtained purely for conversational purposes you weren't MEANT to eat it #Alright disclaimer I'm not making fun of either animal rights folks or vegetarians here I just need to do something to mark Burns night #And this was the best I could come up with #I mean I AM making fun but only in the sort of self-deprecatory way; people are right to complain about the conditions of turkeys and lambs #Haggis are just inherently funny
