Day 11 - the Homra in an amusement park, whats their plan? Do they have one? Are they someone who has a few attractions they really wanna go on or are they gonna try to ride as much as possible.
Okay, but I am such a huge sucker for amusement parks, so this is definitely a favourite ask that I had come in during the event! This was a blast to write and hopefully that translates well into them being fun to read for you guys!
So, I can see the idea of going to an amusement park really coming up because of Anna. Someone is talking about a fun trip they had to an amusement park with their friends and Anna looks a little confused and it occurs to everyone that holy shit, Anna’s never actually been to an amusement park before. And of course, that’s something that everyone agrees has to be rectified.
And for a lot of the guys, they might also be using letting Anna experience an amusement park as a little bit of an excuse to get out and have their own fun at an amusement park with the rest of HOMRA. Yeah, they do honestly want Anna to have good stuff and it will matter to them that she enjoys herself, but they also really do want to have a good time with each other at the amusement park.
So, the boys all plan out things about a week in advance, deciding on a day to go, figuring out the money to go and all that. They decide to take a whole day to just go and have fun. Not all of them can fit into one car, so both Kamamoto and Izumo take over the driving duties. They get there around opening time and mostly everyone’s excited, honestly.
I say mostly everyone because, I will say, originally, neither Mikoto or Izumo were really all that interested in going. Neither of them are really all that interested in amusement parks. Neither of them actively hate them or anything, but amusement parks aren’t something that really catch their interest. However, because it is for Anna both of them did eventually agree.
It’s decided that at least one of the boys have to be with Anna at all times but that they’ll all take shifts in doing so, that way everyone gets to do what they want. It was decided that, when they arrive at the park, everyone can kind of go their own ways, and they’ll meet up for meals and the fireworks spectacle the park puts on at the end of the day. Whoever’s taking over watching Anna also has the start time of their shift.
Mikoto actually sticks with Anna all day. It doesn’t matter who else is on duty with her, he just kind of stays with her and whoever else is with her. He doesn’t really get the appeal of amusement park rides, so he doesn’t go on any with her, but he just kind of chills, watches her go on the rides and takes the day to relax. His favourite parts of the day are just people watching in the smoking areas, eating, and the fireworks display at the end of the day.
Now, Izumo goes in between really staying with either Anna and Mikoto, or with Totsuka. Despite Izumo not really enjoying most amusement park rides, Totsuka and Anna get him on a couple. He’s kind of actually a fan of both the swings and the Ferris wheel but that’s about it and they’re the only rides he goes on.
Totsuka, meanwhile, is someone who floats between all the groups. He’s really excited to take Anna on as many rides as he can, to take her to all the souvenir and gift shops. He’s excited to hang with his oldest friends Kusanagi and Mikoto and to ensure they have fun. He goes and does things with all the HOMRA boys, spending time here and there with everyone. He’s someone who is kind of up for anything. There’s no ride he’s not up for, no food stall or restaurant he won’t try, no arcade or carnival game he won’t be excited for. He’s just living it up with his friends and making memories. But, of course, the best thing for him is being able to capture it all on film and photo for everyone. Those photos become precious treasures for Anna and a couple of the boys.
Kamamoto, surprising nobody, really does love visiting a lot of the food stands for the treats that are only available at amusement parks. He’s excited when the mealtimes come along, and he’ll have the best recommendations for where to go to eat. He’s definitely one of those people who, if the amusement park in question has souvenir cups or buckets when it comes to food and drinks, will grab them. He gets the souvenir cups/buckets for not only himself but for Anna most definitely and for the other boys and he’s so proud of himself when he gives them out at the end of the day. Like yeah, they were expensive and it kind of sucks for his wallet but this way everyone gets to bring some tangible part of their day at the park home with them and that makes him happy to think about.
Yata is a huge amusement park ride person. He wants to go on all of them and he definitely makes his way through the majority of the rides with his boys, normally dragging Kamamoto, Shouhei, Bandou, or Fujishima with him. However, the part of the day that will live in his memory the most? On his turn with Anna, he joins up Anna, Kusanagi, Totsuka and Mikoto (and Totsuka and Kusanagi definitely do make jokes about needing to babysit ‘the kids’, haha) and they find either the carnival games at the park. Yata’s definitely excited, he gets Anna really excited (as excited as Anna gets) to try out these games too. He’s bound and determined that he’ll win her as many prizes as she can carry in her arms. The two of them really do have fun trying out the wide variety of games and I love the thought of some of the other boys drifting along and noticing the group playing these games and joining in as well. It becomes competitions to see who can win, who can get the biggest prize, the ugliest prize, the weirdest one. By the end of the day, it’s taking Mikoto, Anna, and Kusanagi to carry all the prizes the boys have won for Anna. Even Anna herself had won a couple prizes, though she gave them to the boys since they were gifting her prizes and it made her happy, so she wanted to make them happy in return.
I love thinking that the alphabet boys all kind of end up doing the park together, even if they had initially not planned to. It’s just that they all kind of realized, after being in the park, after the plan was confirmed and they were trying to figure out what to do that hey….it’s not just Anna who has never been to an amusement park before. This is Eric’s first time coming to the amusement park and he looks both confused and a little awestruck at everything around him. So, of course, all the boys want to show Eric the best rides.
Shouhei loves all the different rides. Seriously, to him, rides are the best thing about amusement parks and he’s the one who most wants to go on everything. On the occasions that the boys do break off and drift into little groups before reforming, Shouhei’s always found with whoever is going on either the fastest or most thrilling ride, or the one he’s never been on or heard of again.
Bandou likes rides, but nothing that hurls him upside down in anyway. He doesn’t mind fast, just don’t flip him upside down so things like the Zipper and some roller coasters are automatic no-go’s for him. He’ll never come out and say he hates them, because he doesn’t want to look like a wimp, so he always just has to conveniently take a piss, is hungry and needs a snack, or wants a smoke break whenever they come close to one of those kind of rides and he’ll disappear for a bit when they go on those rides, either by himself or with one of the other guys who also didn’t want to go on the ride.
Chitose mostly behaves himself. He spends the least amount of time with Anna, only properly doing half his shift, but, to come to his defense, that’s because he started puking after Anna made him do a Tilt-A-Whirl side ride with him about six times in a row because ‘he could make the cart spin faster than anyone else’. He kind of needed a sit down after that experience. There are times when he’s with the boys and he’ll disappear for a good chunk of time though and just reappear back and it’s normally because he’d started chatting up a girl in the line-ups or whatever and wanted to keep flirting with her instead of sticking with the sausage fest.
Dewa is surprisingly really into amusement park rides. He knows it’s probably really childish, but the boy loves any really fast, really thrilling, or kind of scary rides. Things like drop-towers appeal to him, rollercoasters with huge loops that flip you upside down or that go extremely fast. He hates boring rides, like carousels, Ferris Wheels, things like that. But give Dewa a solid thrill ride and he’s happy. He’ll go between his shift with Anna, doing the thrill rides with the boys, and keeping Chitose from running off fully with some chick he met in line.
As mentioned, this is really Eric’s first time coming to an amusement park and the boys are making sure he gets the full experience. Turns out that Eric gets really nauseous with things that spin him around and around and around at super him speeds, so that’s a cool fact he learned. He likes rollercoasters to a degree, but not the really fast or scary ones. Mostly, he’s just relaxing, having a good time, and enjoying the new experience but he can sometimes also get a little overwhelmed with the crowds, the noise level and all and I think he takes the most smoke breaks out of the boys, mostly for excuses to get away to a quieter area of the park and have couple moments to himself.
Fujishima really is a very go with the flow kind of guy and that shows in his approach to the park. He kind of just sticks with his friends and is content to do what they all want to do. He’s been to the amusement park before and while his past self was excited to come, he’s not super excited about it all now, just more pleasantly happy to be able to do so. He enjoys experiencing the park with his friends and is really happy to see everyone else happy together. I will say I don’t think he likes extreme heights so drop-towers are something he would never go on, with the exception of something like ‘The Tower of Terror’ where you don’t see as much of the outside as you drop.
Like I said, everyone does get back together to eat supper together at the end of the day. They definitely do take Kamamoto’s suggestions and they’re a rowdy, loud, but pleasant bunch. The noise and the slightly rough housing make them a pain for the other guests but not so much that they’ll get kicked out. They all eat until they’re stuffed and then head to the fireworks. Once those are done, they all pile back into the vehicles and at least Anna, Mikoto, and Eric both fall asleep in the car on the ride home, just saying.

A funny Fushimi and Mikoto interaction just popped into my head and I’d like to share!
So Fushimi’s a lot more comfortable around Mikoto to do this but I thought of the two developing their own inside joke where, Homra days. Fushmi is explaining something for a mission, or what have you, and Mikoto makes some mildly sarcastic comment and Fushmi just deadpan flips Mikoto off 🤣 that’s Mikoto’s type of humor, bc he’s chill like that, and actually laughs and it’s makes Fushmi even more at ease and maybe a little proud
Please imagine Fushmi doing the middle finger while pushing up his glasses too 💀
Mikoto’s the one who’ll usually initiate the joke from there and only occasionally Fushmi will follow-through, if he doesn’t just roll his eyes and tongue click
Homra members are obviously dumbstruck/gob smacked/flabbergasted when they witness this “the disrespect!” But because Mikoto will ether laugh or smirk and roll his eyes everyone is just left utterly confused on how to react because it dose feel like something they’re not in on so they shouldn’t comment on it
Except Kusanagi and Totsuka of course! They’re both like “ohhh somebody else gets his humor” and Yata asks about it later but Fushmi will just deflect with a taunt
This permeates when Fushmi leaves for scepter 4. At the end of a battle or joint mission if the two see each
We’re gonna take a nosedive down to angst now because I also thought of Fushmi and Mikoto running into each other pre-canon and getting to do this one last time before s*it hits the fan 😭 and after Mikoto dies and Fushmi loses his Homra mark, in the cold snowy atmosphere his head drops and says “f**k you, Mikoto”
I like the idea that this is not so much a joke that they’ve formally decided on as it is a Thing That Keeps Happening and the two of them are just rolling with it. Like normally Fushimi is too uncomfortable to actually say anything that he means to Mikoto but then he has this one moment of letting the mask slip and Mikoto is so amused by it that he’s fine trying to get the kid to do it again. Like say Homra is planning to attack some gang filled with Strains and so they need a plan, unfortunately Kusanagi happens to be sick and isn’t really up to making plans. The rival gang is planning to move some drugs that night though so they can’t wait, and Fushimi ends up getting stuck in the position of needing to think up a strategy. He’s clearly annoyed but also nervous about the whole thing which is making him more snappish than usual, like to most of the Homra guys it looks like Fushimi is just being a confident asshole but really mentally he’s just thinking about what happens if this plan fails and he fails. Mikoto can see the nervousness coming off of him and thinks Fushimi could do with some calming down, which is why he makes some sarcastic comment to something Fushimi says. Fushimi is so focused on his plan that he doesn’t actually register that Mikoto was the one who said it at first, that realization doesn’t come until a moment after Fushimi’s spat out ‘fuck you’ and flipped him off.
Yata and the Homra guys are immediately like hey wait a second and Fushimi is obviously off balance because while he absolutely did mean every bit of that he didn’t think he was doing it to Mikoto. Mikoto just grins widely though, Fushimi coughs and pushes up his glasses as he’s like ‘so as I was saying…,’ ignoring the protesting Homra members. Fushimi doesn’t really intend for this to become a running gag but Mikoto thinks it’s a good thing if Fushimi learns to say what he feels openly so he has no trouble goading Fushimi when he feels like it. At first Fushimi just glares but then imagine one day he clicks his tongue and pushes his glasses up very pointedly with his middle finger. None of the Homra guys notice but Mikoto does and he just laughs. Kusanagi and Totsuka both noticed as well and imagine Kusanagi groaning quietly, he gets what Mikoto is doing but also remember Anna’s here, she’ll pick up bad habits. Totsuka thinks it’s nice that Fushimi and King have found a common ground.
Even after he leaves Homra the whole thing keeps going, Fushimi is probably more bold about it now since he wants to show off how much he hates Homra and doesn’t respect Mikoto. Mikoto doesn’t particularly care when Fushimi does it just to show off badly in front of Yata though, like imagine he’ll have no reaction at all when Fushimi openly mocks him in front of Yata’s face. Once the clans are done with their usual fights though and separating Mikoto will make some sidelong comment about Fushimi’s attitude and Fushimi will just flip him off without even bothering to look and see if Yata’s watching and that’s when Mikoto finally smiles. Munakata notices the whole exchange and makes a comment about how nice it is that Fushimi has maintained a good relationship with the Red King and Fushimi grumbles that how was what he just did a sign of a good relationship.
Then at the end of season one imagine this with the King and the Traitor short story, as Mikoto sends Fushimi away he wonders if Fushimi isn’t going to flip him off. Fushimi clicks his tongue and grumbles that he doesn’t even want to hear that from Mikoto. Afterward when Mikoto breaks out of prison he gives Fushimi the briefest look, as Fushimi sits there in front of Awashima unable to even draw his sword, and Mikoto gives him a small smile and then flips him off before walking away. Eventually Mikoto dies and Fushimi is lagging behind the rest of S4 on the bridge, watching as the lights in the sky start to fade. He starts to scratch at his burn scar and there’s the smallest glow of red under his fingertips. He moves his hand away and sees that the tattoo has returned, the tattoo that he thought for a moment was gone for good. It still burns slightly under his hand and Fushimi’s teeth clench, slicing his nails across the tattoo that pulses like a heartbeat beneath them as he murmurs ‘fuck you, Mikoto.’
#Mikosaru#Talking K#SHIP MIKOSARU ALL YE HEATHENS#oh sweet Mikosaru how I missed you#anyway imagine Munakata seeing this and getting jealous XD#like why doesn't Fushimi-kun flip me off does he not like me as much as Suoh

Weekly Vocajournal #19 (15/01 - 22/01)
Slower week today, so I went back to check on releases I missed during hiatus and found an absolute gem:
youtube
Kimizima Sui - Devil on our shoulder. (ft. Kazehiki, flower)
From a 'genre' of vocalsynth songs I've grown to dearly love but have yet find a name to, featuring lyrics sung as if talking, vocals tuned low and breathy, and an overall song structure that prioritizes atmosphere and rhythm over melody. Think sheeno mirin's stuff. Haven't heard much of Kazehiki, but their vb range is fantastic here, from soft and airy in the verse to powerful for the chorus. Flower's role in the song is lowkey, but the support is very much felt.
delta - Dare no Tame no Ashi ka (ft. flower)
Speaking of songs in the same 'genre' as the last one, this is also amazing. delta is one of the producers that tunes flower low, dark and subdued, which compliments the fantastic, classy piano melody playing in the higher ranges. Great contrast between talkloid-esque verses and more melodic choruses, and a bittersweet, melancholic atmosphere.
Uzuki Sara - Hanabi (ft. Yuzuki Yukari, Kagamine Len)
I'm a sucker for those 2010's bright, feel-good-to-the-point-of-saccharine house tracks (think Zedd's Clarity), and even better when they feature Yukari. Len being used as a backing vocal for Yukari is not common, but it's not a bad choice here.
0-9 (OPA) - 剥き出しインセキュリティ、或いは、崩壊前夜のワンダーランド (ft. MEIKO)
Properly tuned V1s are a treat for the ears, and this Meiko is sure one of them! She's brimming with power and energy and nailing this cool technopop tune.
Hitoshizuku × Yama△ - Nonsense Game (ft. KAITO, Kamui Gakupo)
Rare combo of VBs from this producer! Love how they worked Gakupo relatively high on his range, and how growly everyone is, probably based on PARED's original version. Also love the contrast between Suzunosuke's illustration and the chibi sections.
Oshibacomyaku - Post (ft. RIME)
Brought to my attention by @/daily-vocaloid's post here. Manages to incorporate some surprisingly distorted synths and a relatively loud, grainy section in the middle while maintaining a chill and positive atmosphere. Love the mixing and effects on RIME's vocals.
Locust - Batsujirushi (ft. flower)
I have no idea how this guy has managed to upload 3 songs this year with consistent quality, one of the more prolific rookie producers for sure. This one is my favorite of the January uploads for sure: Plucked upright bass, saxophone, piano, great flower tuning, real classy 2+ minutes.
COKO Corner (lots of COKO this week!):
ChouchouP/papiyon - AVOCADO
Carlos Hakamada - COKO is HERE!!!
UtsuP - dislike
toa - Like a Fantasy
Other Cool Stuff:
Yugika - Eureka Replica (ft. Meika Mikoto)
Kashii Moimi - Secret Side (ft. KAITO)
jon-YAKITORIY - THUNDERBOLT (ft. Hatsune Miku) (Miku 2023 JP Tour Theme Song)
Kashuu Ryousuke - 芒畑 (ft. Yuzuki Yukari)
GoBS - SnowDome (ft. Otomachi Una Sweet)
FuwariP - Toumei ni Natta Monogatari (ft. Satou Sasara)
INE - Relay (ft. RIME)
◈*Yukuewat - Hoiyoho (ft. Kochie, Anna Nyui, Mine Laru)

“K - THE FIRST STORY”
CHAPTER 11: THE NIGHT BEFORE (Complete)
* K - The First Story (List of Chapters) * Projects & Chapters
Translation: Naru-kun Raws: Ridia
Awashima bowed deeply into the command car parked in front of the Gakuenjima bridge.
"I'm sorry. Not only did I let the 'Red King' escape, but I also made this happen... it's all my responsibility."
"The expression on your face accepting such humiliation is not all bad."
Before Awashima seriously apologized, Munakata joined his hands and said that with a serious face.
"Captain."
"Feeling responsible for not being able to stop the 'Red King' is a sign of considerable arrogance."
The apology became an advance and she turned her eyes to guilt, but Awashima lowered her eyes again without saying anything to return to the lines of Munakata.
"Yes."
Awashima received it mysteriously, understanding that it was not an unstoppable mistake, but a reckless attempt to stop him.
Munakata stood up silently and left the command vehicle without further pursuit or mention.
"Still, it was troublesome."
Awashima also got out of the command car following Munakata and stayed a bit behind. Munakata looked towards Gakuenjima in cloudy weather. The panic that might have happened there couldn't be seen from here, and the island beyond the connecting bridge was silent in the middle of the sea.
But now that island is in danger of ending even this country.
Munakata opened his mouth with a sharper light in his eyes.
"The 'Red King' Mikoto Suoh occupies the school island. The purpose remains..."
"Capture Totsuka Tatara's killer."
"That's right... But if that person was another 'King', it would be really annoying."
"You mean the 'Colorless King'?"
Before Awashima, who said that with a firm expression, Munakata continued speaking.
"Unlike other kings, the Seventh King, the 'Colorless King', develops his own unique abilities with each substitution of him. You won't know what he looks like until he appears."
"A trickster who stirs up relations between 'kings'. He's like a joker in a deck of cards."
"Awashima-kun, I hate the joker. That smells like deception... I feel like he lacks justice. Especially when he's out of my hands."
Awashima was a bit surprised to see that he was blatantly thinking that it would be fair if he had the joker. However, even though she thinks he's pretty badass, she doesn't think he's wrong.
Munakata sighed a bit frustratingly, which was unusual for him.
"Well, it would be much easier if he remained secluded in the mountains like his predecessor Ichigen Miwa."
"An unpredictable 'Colorless King' is added to the 'Red King', which is equivalent to a bomb on the verge of detonation. I must say that this situation is extremely dangerous."
"Because we have not been able to capture the existence of the 'Colorless King', we have no choice but to hold down the 'Red King'. A full-scale collision with the Red Clan is inevitable."
By confirming the seriousness of the current situation, she was prepared. Awashima turns to Munakata, lines up her legs and stretches her spine.
"All units are ready for battle. You can give the order whenever you want."
Munakata looked back at Awashima after a brief pause.
"Awashima-kun. Can I make a rather selfish request?"
Awashima was surprised by the sound of the word "selfish" that came out of Munakata's mouth. Before Awashima asked the content of the expression "selfishness", it was not an order, instruction or request, a white thing fluttered next to Munakata's face.
Munakata and Awashima looked at the sky together.
From the heavy cloudy sky, the white shards began to flicker like petals.
"Snow."
Munakata muttered like a soliloquy.
++++++++++
The amount of snow that began to fall at dusk increased and piled up as if to cover the colors of the world.
Suoh was lying on the clock tower that he had knocked down, whether it started to snow or at night.
When he lay on his back on the rocky shore of the clock tower and looked up at the night sky where the snow continued to fall, he felt that the world had become two colors, black and white. The snow that touched his skin quickly melted and disappeared, but the snow that had accumulated on his clothes and hair was thickening on the board.
From the bottom, he heard small footsteps and the sound of chunks of rocky shore falling.
Suoh didn't move and was listening to the approaching noise.
However, he heard the sound of the rocky shore collapsing and reached out. What he grabbed with his left hand was Anna's hood.
"What are you doing?"
Suoh puts Anna's small body, which he clutched like a kitten, next to him and asks.
Anna blinked on the spot and looked at Suoh with a serious face.
"Because the snow piled up on Mikoto."
"What with that?"
"I'm in trouble if I can't see the color red."
Anna complained, looking very serious.
Suoh thought of the world through her eyes, which only reflected red, for a moment, but he couldn't quite imagine it, so he stopped immediately. Instead, he slightly released the power of red and the heat melted and evaporated the snow from his body.
The white snow that covered Suoh disappeared and Anna loosened her eyes a little.
"Mikoto's red is the most beautiful."
Anna said. It was like trying to give something important. Since Anna has few words, she seems like she puts an invisible power in every single word she says.
Anna lay down next to Suoh. When he reached out, she obediently put her small head on Suoh's upper arm.
"It's cold?"
"It's warm next to you. This is the only warm place."
Snuggled into Suoh's chest like a small animal, Anna closed her eyes silently.
Suoh silently looked at Anna, who closed her eyes as if she was at ease.
When he thinks about it, Anna has rarely asked Suoh for anything. The only thing she asked for was (I want Mikoto's red).
Maybe it was just that moment when she wanted to be a member of Suoh's clan.
Suoh finally heard the wish. He shared the flame with Anna and gave her what she called "red" to make her a member of his clan. He knew it was not the same as doing it to street boys in search of power, but he offered his hand on fire as she wanted.
Since then, Anna has been with Suoh. She doesn't say anything, she doesn't ask anything, she just snuggles with Suoh, she stares at Suoh's red and squints in satisfaction. Even now, even though she can see ahead of anyone, she remains silent next to Suoh.
When he was in the "Scepter 4" detention center, he remembered that Fushimi had come to see him only once. He doesn't know if it was a sweetheart-type action that he used to have in "Homura", or if he just wanted to complain, he came to the front of Suoh's cell, where no one but the members could approach him, and he threw up a few sentences, though he was strangely scared.
(Are you playing the fool?)
Unexpectedly, he thought he was a polite and serious guy.
(I wish I hadn't gathered around you with all your friends.)
He disagreed with anyone because it seemed dishonest to everyone, but he thought it was good to have someone blame him like that.
Furthermore, that revived the words of an irresponsible man who said the exact opposite of Fushimi.
(Your power is not to destroy, but to protect.)
At the very least, he made a dome-shaped shield releasing the red power with a small outlet, feeling like this. The little red shelter was warm and protected Anna from falling snow and chills.
When the falling snow approached the shield, it reflected the light and turned red, and he vaguely thought that he must smoke.
++++++++++
Yata continued to look around the large school, as he skated on the roofs of the school building.
That criminal boy has yet to be found. Yata was appointed an entire island watchdog due to his mobility and good eyesight, but the job of just looking was frustrating.
Beyond the connecting bridge, "Scepter 4" is waiting. If they attack quickly, they will withdraw it, but they just line up a series of strict armored vehicles and observe this situation, and they do not move easily.
(I wonder if he will always come.)
He thought about it, and it didn't matter! He shook his head immediately.
Fiuuu fiuuu. He heard the sound of a finger whistling from a distance. Seeing that, Yata felt slightly offended. He thought he should use the PDA, and thought about ignoring it for a moment, but in the end he dutifully kicked the concrete on the rooftop and flew between the school buildings with his skateboard.
"What are you doing? I'm not a dog, so I'd like you to stop calling me that."
Upon landing, Yata sighed and looked at Kusanagi. Kusanagi, who was still in the whistling stance, laughed fearlessly.
"You are not a dog, I thought you were a crow with great night vision. What did you observe?"
"There is nothing unusual on the island. There were some idiots trying to escape, but they weren't that damn bastard, so I tied them up and threw them into the school building. Passing the bridge, it seems the Blues have the area completely surrounded."
Kusanagi took out the cigarette and it was probably troublesome to use his lighter, so he moved his finger to make his own flame appear from his fingertips and set it on fire. Yata, who doesn't smoke, secretly thought that the way he used his fingertips like flint was great.
"If we do face it, this time it will be a full-scale war."
"I say let's go get them!"
Yata clenched his fist with all his might at the words Kusanagi spoke as he exhaled smoke.
"I can't wait for it."
Fighting spirit boiled up and the power of red seeped out from the body, enveloping Yata's entire body in a faint red. Kusanagi shrugged and laughed a little.
"Don't get excited. You really do a better job when the blood circulates less through your head."
"It's hard to stay calm at a time like this!"
"Yata-chan, you'd be better off if you weren't such an idiot. But it wouldn't be you, if you weren't an idiot."
When Yata was congested and about to scream, Kusanagi suddenly looked at Yata with a slight smile and seemed to be cheering him on.
"You especially get excited when Fushimi is involved. Well, I can't blame you since they used to be partners."
For a moment, deep in Yata's eyes, he took the hand that held Suoh's flame, accepted Suoh's flame, and the moment he got the mark, the scene flashed.
(Yeah! This is a genuine companion!)
When you pass through the Suoh installation, you will see a tattoo-like "mark" in the shape of a flame somewhere on your body. Yata is proud of it, which is proof of the above.
When Yata graduated from high school, he and Fushimi received the installation from Suoh, and at the same time, they both received a mark under the left clavicle in the same place.
He remembers Kusanagi, who was watching them, saying that it was the first time that someone got the "mark" in the same place where the other's was.
Yata was happy that he seemed to prove that he was a partner of Fushimi.
When the feelings at that moment seemed to revive, Yata bit the surging emotions and said to Kusanagi forcefully.
"No matter how much you say it, it sucks."
Fushimi's finger with flames. A flame that crushed the "mark". A smile that looked at him with contempt.
Yata fought back bitterly, recalling the scenes he wanted to forget in a chain reaction.
"Besides, he was the one who betrayed me first."
Kusanagi glanced at Yata and shrugged a little.
"By the way, since you will be guarding the area for the rest of the night, there is something I would like you to do."
Kusanagi easily changed the story, turned his face to Yata and spoke.
Yata opened his eyes to the content.
"Eh? Why is it like this...!"
"There was a request for a 'personal meeting' in route from the lieutenant over there for me."
"Why don't you get it?"
Kusanagi forgave the yapping Yata with a smile. Kusanagi sometimes showed him a smile that he didn't know what he was thinking.
"The next time we meet face to face, it will be a war without questions. If you want to talk before that, you can't."
"But..."
"It is a violation of the rules to attack the messenger in war... But if other people know about it, I will have the same revulsion as you. Keep this matter here alone."
Kusanagi seemed to accept it and touched Yata's shoulder when he closed his mouth without complaint.
"Trust me, Yatagarasu."
Kusanagi called Yata's nickname and stepped away from the rooftop.
Yata, who was left alone, was silent for a while and then shook his tongue.
(From now on, the "Blue King" will come alone to this island.)
He remembered the words he had heard from Kusanagi and threw them away.
Yata does not like the "Blue King". He just doesn't like him, and he feels like he's going to take important things away from Yata, because he's going to attach a flirtation to Suoh, whom Yata respects more than anyone else.
Yata squeezed his eyes shut.
As he talks to Kusanagi, memories that he did not want to remember came to mind and they did not disappear.
Until a few years ago, Yata and Fushimi were best friends.
They met in middle school and spent their youth together. The two of them were holding something that surrendered to each other, but they could breathe well side by side and they had a great dream if they were together.
Yata still doesn't know where something went wrong.
He was in the back alley in front of the HOMRA bar where he ended up with Fushimi.
"I joined 'Scepter 4'." Said Fushimi. For Yata, it was a declaration of war in his ears.
"Bastard, what's wrong with you now?"
After being stunned for a moment, blood suddenly spilled over his head and Yata grabbed Fushimi's chest and squeezed it. Fushimi didn't move and looked at Yata with icy eyes.
"Didn't you hear me? I joined 'Scepter 4'."
"What for?! Why did you betray me? Depending on why..."
When he shook him hard, he swayed while Fushimi swayed, and was looking at Yata with rumored eyes seemingly distant from him.
He was shaken by Yata's hand and his neck was exposed, revealing the "mark" of "Homura" under Fushimi's left clavicle. The pride of "Homura", who is in the same place as Yata, and a test of Yata's partner.
When he left, Yata put his fist on Fushimi's "mark" and pushed hard.
"This is a sign, probably our pride! Even though I have this on my chest, why you...?"
"Pride?"
He asked Fushimi's voice, which turned wetter. Somehow, it was a voice that pushed through the emotions that Yata didn't really understand.
The fingertips of Fushimi's right hand harbored flames. Yata was confused when he saw the tips of his five muscular fingers emitting red flames. He had often seen red power in his knives during battle, but this was the first time he had seen Fushimi use this type of flame.
Facing Yata, who forgot his anger for a moment and waited for Fushimi's next behavior, Fushimi put his burning fingers on the "mark" below his collarbone and scratched his hard.
He heard a burning sound on his skin.
The "mark" was on fire. It should be hot. It should hurt. However, Fushimi scratched the "mark" up and down with a distorted smile as he sweated.
He drew a red-black burnt line at the "mark", as if it were a strikethrough.
Yata's entire body was bleeding. His limbs grew cold and didn't move well, and his lips trembled. The scent of Fushimi burning his skin drifted to the tip of his nose and he felt the rocking motion in front of him.
"Ah... the pride you say has collapsed, Misaki?"
Fushimi said. Fushimi's voice was slightly hummed with a smile, probably because he was encouraged to endure the pain.
Yata was beginning to lose track of her feelings, whether it was anger, sadness, or despair.
However, even when Fushimi hurt himself so terribly, he was ignorant of the fact that he was trying to destroy "Homura's" pride and Yata's essence.
Fushimi continued speaking with a distorted smile.
"You ask me why I betrayed you? Because this is stupid. Although we have a special power, everything we do is play punks and gangsters. I really suck in 'Homura'."
Yata's emotions, which had been scattered and disturbed, slowly integrate into one. He was angry. Anger rebuilt Yata, who was about to collapse, and gave him some power in his abandoned childlike mind.
Fushimi desecrated what Suoh gave him, which Yata prized above all else. Fushimi imitated spitting at Suoh, who gave birth to Yata's locked world.
"Saru! Even though you were picked up from the street by Mikoto-san, how dare you be disrespectful to "Homura"?"
In response to Yata's anger, Yata's red power overflowed to the surface of his body and he burned. He dissipates the heat to evaporate the tears that had risen.
He looked into the eyes of the man who once called his partner with the intention of shooting.
Fushimi shook his shoulders and laughed out loud. His eyes glowed with a dark light, but he lifted the edge of his mouth satisfactorily.
"That's right, Misaki. Don't laugh, look at me all the time."
"Damn traitor... I'll kill you...!"
The path between the two was divided.
Unable to understand what Fushimi was thinking, Yata suffered the sensation of ripping out his internal organs over and over again. He wondered why, he went to the place they shared and gritted his teeth.
(But that's okay. If you want me to look angry, I will. If you stand in front of me, I will crush you.)
Shaking off the pain in his chest, Yata took off across the sea.
At the end of the Black Sea, a group of blue lights lit by "Scepter 4's" armored vehicle floated in a row.

Munakata, who arrived on the island in a small boat at midnight, thanked Kusanagi for welcoming him with a slight bow of his head.
Kusanagi replied with just a small bow and started walking without exchanging words.
Kusanagi took the lead, followed by Munakata. The snow flickered but kept falling.
Instead of going to the school building, he was heading to the shrine at the back of the island in a wooded area so as not to bump into other members.
"Wait here."
In front of the stone steps of the shrine, Kusanagi turned around, letting out only a minimum of words. The fact that he was on the brink of war was taken into account, not himself, but Kusanagi was called from behind when he was about to leave.
"Why?"
Kusanagi stopped and looked back. The orderly "King", dressed in a blue uniform, looked a little different than the usual Kusanagi knew, irreverent man, calm and serene, transcendental. There was even a childish atmosphere that he kept asking why he didn't understand.
"You know what he's waiting for at the end of this rebellion, right?"
When asked directly, Kusanagi did not have an answer. His question was correct, but he thought that Kusanagi would not be convinced when he answered.
"Breathing and living is crazy."
To say that, Munakata had an expression that was the opposite of what he was convinced of, and made an icy voice.
"So you're dying to 'live' as you call it? Involve unrelated students and endanger the lives of hundreds of thousands of countless citizens?"
Kusanagi smiled silently with a slight smile. He wasn't afraid to hear legitimate accusations from him, but he didn't mean to argue, so he chose silence.
Seeing Kusanagi like this, Munakata erased the irritation and discomfort from his facial expression and said in a simple voice.
"If you are so stubborn, why did you accept my offer?"
"Because you came to speak to him as an individual, not as a 'King'. I have neither the right nor the will to reject you, and I prefer that you see him."
Munakata said nothing more. Kusanagi started walking leaving him this time.
Kusanagi broke through the bushes surrounding the shrine and headed toward Gakuenjima's front place, trampling the fine snow. Immediately after entering the gate, where a clock tower was built as a symbol in the square, but it was knocked down by a light blow of fire from Suoh, and now he was lying on his side. The collapse of the clock tower was probably still neglected there.
The menacing threat to destroy the clock tower made the noisy students quieter and easier to handle, but a bit over the top.
(King's flames are too big, right?)
Totsuka said that when he was with him.
Yes, that was the first winter that Suoh became the "Red King", and Totsuka and Kusanagi became members of the clan.
It was a flickering snow night like today, when Suoh mistakenly controlled his power and burned down an entire abandoned building.
After getting rid of the situation, Suoh, Kusanagi, and Totsuka were walking down the snowy night street. Suoh was in a bad mood, but Totsuka said with a smile as usual, "King's flames are too big, right?"
Suoh made a little irony and let out a rarely misunderstood voice: "It was bad." Totsuka laughed in amusement.
"Didn't you say you didn't like it? No one complains that firepower is too strong like the sun."
"I don't want to be like the sun."
"That's right. King is a king, not the sun, so he doesn't just keep burning, but he burns and burns as he wants."
As Suoh thinks. Kusanagi appears to be frowned upon when Suoh, who hides the urge to destroy himself, hides on the back of his chest and behaves the way he really wants.
"I hope you are a little more dexterous. I wonder if the building often burns from the impulse of things."
"King is so clumsy!"
"Hahaha.", Totsuka laughed, and Suoh hit him on the head with a "Shut up."
Then, he practiced using the flames skillfully, and Totsuka turned his palm to the sky. A flame floated on the white palm like a dot and a red pill, which transformed into a butterfly shape and fluttered. The flaming butterflies rising from the palm of his hand flutter in the flickering snow, as if they were actually alive.
"This is an unexpectedly difficult and good practice."
With a red clan flame called the "Flame of Destruction", Totsuka would often do something clean and smooth, like a child enthusiastic about working with clay. They were mostly butterflies, birds and other creatures that flew free, showing off the beauty of the color of the red flames.
Kusanagi and Suoh looked at the red butterflies flying on a winter night with their detoxified eyes. The flaming butterflies that flew while scattering sparks were somewhat blurry and cute.
"But you can do something with a terrifying flame of destruction."
"King's flames aren't all scary. It's warm and clean."
In fact, Totsuka spun a fire butterfly and wagged Kusanagi's nose, claiming it would be hot and clean.
Emerging from the thoughts of the past, Kusanagi exhaled a white breath into the cold air.
It was a snowy day like today, but when he thought that he felt much warmer than today, Kusanagi laughed softly when he found a small dome of warm colors wherever he went.
"Yes, I know. The 'King' sleeps all the time, though his vassals are hanging around."
Kusanagi shouted slightly towards the dome of red light that floated above the clock tower that lay on its side.
The dome of light was formed by Suoh's power. Suoh was lying next to Anna. The inside of the dome was hot due to the power of the red that controls the flames. The broken tiles of the clock tower were decorated white with snow, but there was no snow inside the dome, and Anna, who was lounging outside at midnight in December, did not appear to be cold at all.
"That's what it means to be a 'King'."
Kusanagi shrugged while Suoh was lying down.
"No, I think there is a problem with your image of a 'King'. Well, I'm not saying you have to work with us, but…"
Kusanagi frowned after saying that in a scared voice.
"...You are waiting?"
"Yes."
Do you think it will work?"
"Yes."
Suoh also gave a minimal answer to the questions. Kusanagi sighed with a bitter smile and lowered his eyebrows.
"Well we'll humbly do our best to catch him before then."
When he sat on a cracked tile, he turned his back on Suoh and Anna. Staring up at the night sky where the snow was falling as he felt the signs of him behind, the fluffy heat approached from behind and the fine snow that had accumulated under Kusanagi's feet began to melt. Suoh seems to have expanded the dome a bit.
He was deeply moved by the fact that he sometimes used gentle power, and was reminded of the flaming Totsuka butterflies that he once saw.
As if carried away by him, various memories so far emerged one after another in Kusanagi's head and exploded.
"When I met Totsuka, I wondered if that boy was not enough. I felt it was dangerous for him to get close, but he was happy saying that he would become a servant of the king."
Before Suoh became "King". Although he had a difficult and scary personality, he met Totsuka, a middle school student who called Suoh King and laughed at Suoh, who was just a high school student who did not carry something so troublesome and so big. It seemed like it was a long time ago, and it seems like it was yesterday.
The three of them hung out, hanging out and playing like fools. Eventually, however, Suoh became known as the "King" by people outside of Totsuka, and was chosen by the Slate and became the "Red King".
Kusanagi remembers the first time he saw the sword that appeared above Suoh's head. That day he was cloudy. In the cloudy sky that he hung low, a huge sword appeared while emitting red light. Instinctively it turned out that he ruled Suoh's fate.
Kusanagi thought that the huge red sword, which was shaped like a flame and pointed downward, was beautiful and terrifying.
"Don't put your sword to your head."
Kusanagi giggled and said that. Suoh seemed to be a bit embarrassed or confused, with an indescribable thin smile, causing flames to appear on both hands. He extended his right hand to Kusanagi, who was enveloped in the red flame, and his left hand to Totsuka.
"Would you like to hold my hand?"
The fate of Suoh, who possessed a powerful flame that could burn everything, changed, and the fate of Kusanagi and Totsuka, who held his hand, also changed.
"But you have become a literal 'King' to 'Homura'."
Those were the days of the angry clan. The number of friends and people who thought that the HOMRA bar was his home had increased. Between them, Totsuka always laughed. He kept trying to make the place where his friends gathered around Suoh a fun place.
"I thought you were a bomb that wanted to explode, not a guy who would protect or rally people, but... I guess Totsuka saw something different in you."
Suddenly, he heard Suoh laugh with only his breath behind him.
"You are more right than Totsuka."
Kusanagi also exhaled and laughed. Kusanagi himself believes so too. However, he believed that Suoh was a "King" even though he was not of that type.
"Even so, since you became 'King', you have become a weapon that shoots at enemies to protect what you need to protect, not an explosive bomb. With you and the people around you. At first, I thought that I could have a good time. "
It was fun.
Kusanagi obediently thought about it.
"Don't say that, it's irritating."
Suoh said that with a very irritated voice. Kusanagi laughed lightly this time and stood up.
"I'm sorry. When you're older, you start trying to hold on to the past."
He turned around, changed feelings, and called out to the girl next to Suoh.
"Anna, come with me."
Anna got up and looked at Kusanagi with her red eyes. Just by looking at him, Anna attended and took Kusanagi's hand as if she knew everything.
Kusanagi hugged Anna from the top of the clock tower tile, and Suoh turned off the warm red dome and lifted half of his body.
"Someone has come to see you."
He doesn’t ask who he was. Suoh had a slightly subtle expression, but he silently jumped off the rocky shore.
When he told the location, Suoh said nothing and walked silently towards that place.
Looking at his back as he walked away, Kusanagi spoke words that he had never said or intended to say.
"Couldn't ask for a better king."
++++++++++
He hears the sound of stepping on the snow.
Munakata was on his way to the shrine, waiting for the King of Steps. Looking down from the side, he saw a red-haired man walking through a snow-covered torii gate and up a long stone staircase.
The cold snowy night was horribly quiet, and Suoh's silent footsteps seemed to be the only sound in the world.
Even seeing Munakata, Suoh giggled a little and approached slowly without accelerating.
"I thought sharing the same air as me made you want to throw up."
"Sometimes I want to breathe poison."
Munakata laughed wryly and pulled a box of cigarettes from his chest when Suoh stopped in front of him. Facing Suoh's unexpected face, he added one and offered it to Suoh.
Suoh obediently took out the cigarette and put it in his mouth, and before Munakata reached for a lighter, he lit the tip of Munakata's cigarette with his finger. Suoh's flames turned red in front of him for a moment, and when he realized it, Munakata's cigarette was on fire. While Munakata was puzzled, Suoh laughs with an evil child face, slid down the side of him and climbed the stone steps to the top.
With some relief on his shoulders, Munakata inhaled slowly and deeply the cigarette smoke.
It was the taste of the cigarette he smoked for the first time in a long time. When he was an adult for a while, he first bought a box and smoked it to find out how he tasted, but got no more impressions than that.
He understood how to enjoy the taste and aroma, but it was not enough to balance the disadvantages they gave him and others, and he did not get into the habit of smoking.
But now, he was grateful for the cigarettes. He felt it would be a little easier to get away from his being, letting himself be carried away by the bitterness and sweetness that he felt on his tongue and the sensation that his skull was tingling.
He walked to the top of the stone steps and looked at Suoh, who shook the cigarette from him and for a moment purple smoke glowed silently.
"I'm going to get straight to the point."
Munakata said.
"Peacefully leave this school. I can't overlook the way you're involving unrelated high school students. If you do it now, he could handle this before things got out of hand."
"That's a good idea... is that what you hope it says?"
"It's not an idea, it's an ultimatum. You've gone too far, Suoh."
Suoh didn't seem to move the dust or move, and he was smoking slowly.
"That being the case, let me kill the criminal who murdered Totsuka Tatara, who calls himself the 'Colorless King'."
This time, Suoh slightly moved his expression. He looked at Munakata with a helpless and surprised face, and then laughed wryly.
"It's an interesting proposal coming from you, but... I refuse."
"I am sure you have seen the terrible form of your Sword of Damocles. The Sword is the symbol of a 'King' and manifests its true form depending on its condition. Your sword will soon fall."
"Oh, really?"
"Your deviation from Weismann is already at the limit. If the burden of killing a 'King' is applied here, it will definitely reach its limit, and you could cause a repeat of the Kagutsu crater tragedy. You no longer have any right to be 'King'."
Munakata looked at Suoh and said that out loud. He told him the same thing as in the dark detention center of "Scepter 4" with the urgency that there was no time left. He even felt like praying.
"It's time for you to resign, "Red King"."
Suoh laughed.
"I never acted like a 'King'."
He smoked the cigarette Munakata had given him. Munakata grabbed Suoh's chest and pushed him down hard. Suoh fell backward onto the stone pavement covered in fine snow and relaxed without resistance.
Munakata bit his back teeth angrily, easily knocking him over.
Suoh was the only man who didn't always turn out as expected. Excluding the reason why Munakata preached, he fought the sword of Munakata with a fiery fist, destroying the ideal order of Munakata with chaotic violence.
Even so, Suoh was never afraid of Munakata and stood in front of Munakata. He now he was being ridden without resistance upon being defeated by Munakata. Munakata did not recall anger under justice, even personal hatred, in his attitude as if he was willing to accept anger for the destruction of sin.
The hand that grabbed Suoh's chest was shaking when he flinched because he was too strong.
"There are ordinary unrelated students here. Your men are here too."
He said to Suoh from a close distance.
"Do you understand?"
Suoh, who had been avoiding the chase with a relaxed demeanor until then, did not look away, did not move his eyes, and looked directly into Munakata's eyes closely.
As he looked at Munakata with a slight immobile eye, Suoh slowly tied his words together as if saying something.
"I'll hang my head. You'll do your job. That's it, right?"
At that moment, Munakata's entire body was struck by a feeling of helplessness that he had never felt in his life.
Munakata relaxed and released the hand that was holding Suoh's chest.
He froze and stood, aware of his emotionally heated head.
"You are a savage. You are beyond my understanding."
"Huh. Did you think you could persuade me? That's not your style."
Suoh also stood up saying that.
Not even at the gala could it be like that. He didn't understand Suoh, but he could tell that he understood him at the same time. At least he knew Suoh wouldn't bend his will here.
However, he believes it would be different if it were his own gala to surrender.
Above all, he would feel bad if he had to hit Reisi Munakata's words as an individual before facing him as the "Blue King" who championed a cause.
"Not really… I just came to see my friend."
When he turned around and said that he wasn't even at the gala, Suoh expressed his most amazing emotions. The expression quickly turned into a bitter and embarrassed smile.
Suoh dropped the cigarette he had just grabbed, and stomped on it.
"Come on."
Suoh turned his back on Munakata and said that in a soft voice.
The two of them, looking in different directions, stared at the chunks of snow falling in front of them for a while.
"Suoh, are you sure you don't change your mind?"
"I'm sure."
Munakata lowered his eyes.
The snow was a little bigger than before, and it fell softly to the ground without a sound and piled up.
The passion he simmered in Munakata had cooled, and the coldness of the snowy night had penetrated to the core of his body.
"Idiot."
The words he would normally never use disappeared as if they were absorbed by the snow.

The exterior of the connecting bridge in Gakuenjima was surrounded by members of "Scepter 4", and the interior of the campus was guarded by members of "Homura".
However, none of them could see the "King", so by making full use of Neko's cognitive manipulation ability, they were able to reach Gakuenjima's bedroom and the place that was the boy's room without being discovered by anyone. To those who passed near the boy, they just looked like a cat, a dog, and a working garden.
"I returned!"
When he opened the door to the room he was used to living in, the words naturally leaked from the boy's mouth. However, he snuck into a scene far from the family room.
"Ah! What happened here? A thief?"
The boy's room was charred black. There was a large hole from the wall to the floor, and the rebar was exposed, and the churning snow was piling up at the edge of the room. The bed the boy was always lying on, the chabudai where he ate delicious rice with Kuro and Neko, and his favorite rice cooker were charred.
"What world would thieves blow up the wall to enter?"
Kuro said with a rough face. Certainly this high temperature burned mark is likely a powerful explosive, or the Red Clan's job to manipulate the flames at will.
When he was looking around the room, he heard Neko yell, "Nyaa!"
"My cup! She was my favorite!"
There was a broken bowl in Neko's hand. This is the bowl that was used when the three of them surrounded the chabudai and ate Kuro's homemade food. The bowl, which had been filled with white rice, was now split in half and stained black with soot. Neko was staring at the bowl in her hand with teary eyes.
The boy also lifted his tattered shirt on the ground and sighed a little.
"I desperately escaped the aircraft crash, but my homesick home ended like this..."
He was exhausted because he escaped from the helicopter involved in the accident through Kuro's ingenuity, he entered the hotel (it was a love hotel because he was not in a position to stay in a normal hotel) to recover his energy and physical strength. The boy's body was also recovering, but when he saw that this place, which was his base, was destroyed, he was disappointed.
Kuro also lowered his eyes with a harsh expression.
"We heard that Gakuenjima was occupied by 'Homura' and we hurried back, but I never imagined that the 'Red King' would show up."
"And it appears that the Blues have the entire area blocked off. Well, I'll put off looking for my true identity for now."
"This has become serious. At worst, this school could become a battlefield between clans. Perhaps we shouldn't have come here."
Neko, who was trying to hold the broken bowl together, puffed out her cheeks.
"I told you before! This is our house! It's only fair that we go back to our house!"
Looking at Neko who appealed to his claims, the boy was motivated to recover from his feelings of depression. It is not the case when he stumbles in a place like this and cannot escape from here.
The boy stood up with a strong forehead and laughed at them.
"Neko is right. We have to clean our own house. So what should we do now?"
In the middle of the boy's words, Kuro unconsciously touched his chest. The boy knew well what he was keeping there. Kuro's late master, whom he loves from the bottom of his heart. It's a voice recorder that records Ichigen Miwa's haikus.
"Would you like to ask Ichigen-san?"
When he asked him with a smile, Kuro replied, "What?" with a face that he realized what he had achieved for the first time.
"He had the power to look to the future, right? Then he could have given us some advice before our current situation."
When he thought about it, Miwa's words on the tape recorder helped him choose whether or not to kill the boy on the spot and encourage him to search for his true existence.
It was a casual question for the boy, but Kuro looked at the recorder that he took out of his pocket with a serious expression and thought for a moment.
"No, we already know what we have to do."
Kuro returned the recorder to his pocket without listening to it.
He looked directly at the boy and said.
"We have to rescue Kukuri and the others. That's obvious. You don't have to listen to Ichigen-sama's words to know that."
Kuro, who maintained his stance that Miwa Ichigen was everything and should be prioritized above all else, prioritized his own will and decision.
That fact surprised the boy a bit and encouraged him even more.
"Yes, that's right. Let's find out where Kukuri and his friends are. Neko, let's go."
"Huh? But I still haven't done..."
Neko looked down to put a stop to the bowl she was holding, that had the cracks stuck in a dangerous balance.
The boy smiled gently at Neko.
"Okay. We'll be back soon."
"Yes."
Neko still had a sad and lonely face, but she stood up. When she left the room where she lived with the boy, Neko said it was a "house" and looked sad.
"Goodbye."
She said a little goodbye, and Neko closed the bedroom door.

Yesterday the very beautiful and talented @fuwari-s tagged me in this game and since that post is already really long i figured id make a new one lol (Also thank you for tagging me, it made me so happy)
The Game: Tag your 2D lovers + the other trend I saw yesterday and wanted to do which is Would you actually date them IRL. So ill put that under the cut because it is a lot.
HQ: Atsumu, Daichi, Issei, Bokuto, Hinata, and Kyoutani
BNHA: Bakugou, Denki, and Hawks
JJK: Sukuna and Mei Mei
Others: Kagami from KNB, Levi and Jean from AOT, and Mikoto Suoh from K
So if you want to know if i would date them irl that is below the cut lol
As for tagging... if you want to do it :) @eijirosriot @bokutosnumberonefan @hinosreis @tetsus-kitten @sugawarakoushihoe @mynameisjackattack and anyone else who wants to do one or both of these challenges.
Alright so would i date these men (+ mei mei) in real life. Short answer is yes lmao. Long answer, with some headcanons that may or may not venture into 18+ category but only slightly. all aged up to be my age which is 26.
Atsumu - PLEASE, YES
we would be so chaotic together but he would also be really loving. As long as he can still prioritize me in a relationship, not over volleyball, just as much, then we will be golden. We would have such a good time and i feel like we would have a lot of fun bickering, which i really enjoy. Play fighting as a form of foreplay, if you will lmao. We’d probs be friends in HS and then get together after he starts playing for MSBY and he is secured in his position (and himself tbh). I just love this cocky bastard. he also gives me switch vibes and as a switch, i love that for me.
Daichi - YES
All i need is to be wrapped in his arms on the daily and i would be happy. Man would know how to take care of me and that is all. Love of my life, too good for this world. Wholesome husband. He would be able to manage my crazy side and chill me out when i get to anxious. I would want to be bratty just to get him to drop his good guy routine sometimes and I feel like he would like that.
Issei - YES
Funeral home employee can get it. Matsukawa Horse cock Issei can whisk me off my feet and straight into bed. we would have a lot of fun picking on oikawa together (out of love of course) but we would balance each other out a lot. His darker humor would go well against my lighter humor. Also I feel like our level of hotness is pretty comparable... like we aren't the prettiest in the friend group but still good (if that makes sense)
Bokuto - YES
Big ball of sunshine to light up my day, he would literally fuck the sad out of me every day I just know it. Like atsumu, as long as I am a priority to him itll work out. We also kind of have the same sad moods so I feel like we could either both just curl up on the couch together and watch a movie or bring the other out of a funk easily. I love this giant himbo so much.
Hinata - most likely yes
Pretty much the same reasons as bokuto but I feel like I would get drained of his energy faster, so he would def have to cuddle me more. For everyone else so far I can imagine being high school sweethearts, but with hinata i think he wouldnt settle down until later, or even start dating so it would probably be a lot of pining and watching him from the side lines for a while, which would be really hard tbh. but the way he would smile at me after a match would make it worth it so...
Kyoutani - Hard YES
I love a boy with anger issues, what can i say... (cough couch my irl husband with anger issues couch couch) I would love to be his weak spot and the one person he would go to to help him not feel angry anymore. I think that my fun personality would help him to unbox himself a bit. I just want to give him cuddles and a place to feel accepted. id also i KNOW hes a monster in bed...
Bakugou - FUCKING HARD YES, PLEASE
if he was real the things i would do to and for him... A lot like kyoutani i would want to give him a place where hes accepted, and a place where he is unconditionally loved. I would be able to handle his misguided anger and calm him down and give him space. I headcanon that hes very cuddly in private to just his S/O which is something that i love. I love his lil smirk and would do anything to get him to smirk at me. As long as he is able to set me as a priority it would work out, but that would be what he struggles with so it would be a thing we would have to talk about. But I also feel that once you say something about it he would check in with you because of course he has to be the best bf/husband. I feel like I could talk for hours about him so Ill just wrap it up by saying that I love me a passionate man who would probs be a lil possessive, and I would use that to my advantage.
Denki - GOD YES
I really do think that denki and I are soulmates. we are both the perfect blend of funny, pervy, while still being soft. I feel like there would be a lot of mutual pining at first but he would end up the golden retriever gamer boy to my alt bisexual and thats just the perfect pairing. We would pull so much shit and then get away with it because thats just us being us. I see us being scolded by bakugou a lot for the stupid shit we would pull. Also late night drives in his shitty tuned car to taco bell while we sing alt rock songs from the 2010s. also the switch vibes are immaculate.
Hawks - Probably
So it would honestly depend a lot on what version of hawks.. him in the hero commission is a no, because he wouldnt be able to be honest with me about a lot of stuff. Like his name, or when i can see him again, and that would give me too much anxiety. When hes free of them and is actually allowed to be himself I think it could work then. I know that he of course wants to still be the best hero, so he would have the same problems as bakugou with finding a balance, but if he wants to i think he could. He would also have a lot of trauma from his relationship with his parents and the commission so I dont know if he would be able to give his love away as freely as he wants so we could get therapy together. I love that for us. But i would happily wake up next to this beautiful birb man if he would have me.
Sukuna - A hesitant yes
so.. the anger issues that ive mentioned before.. yes. I would like sukuna. I would be his lil bride and sit on his lap on his throne as long as he didnt kill my loved ones or my cats lmao. I would also be ok with being his and itadoris gf while hes living in itadoris head. being with him is just asking for an unhappy ending tho, whether its a life always on the run, or someones trying to kill me, or someones trying to kill him, or hes trying to kill someone. But yes i would like to be with him but that would mean sacrificing a lot.
Mei Mei - god yessssss..
Please Mei Mei step on me and make me ur lil house wife. I see us living in a pent house apartment with the most breathtaking view of the Tokyo skyline. I would want for nothing and she could take me where ever she wanted and i would just follow her around with heart eyes.
Kagami - YES
my basketball husband! i love him and would love to be loved by him. Id follow him wherever. He would take care of me and is just so dreamy.. also i guess the mild anger issues.. but hes really not that bad. He would just be such a good s/o. He would cook us nice dinners, wed have a few cats, and he would carry me around a lot because hes so strong. While were on the topic of strong... his stamina... everyone on this list probably has good if not great stamina... but kagami just hits different..... have you seen him in the zone? have you seen his thighs? his sex zone has got to be incredible.
Levi - Yes
I was going to say it depends, but really it doesn't... if were in the aot universe and hes my captain and I fall in love with him u can bet ur ass im gonna try and get with him because i could die at anytime. if its some au where he is here in our universe and somehow we meet... like of course im gonna be in love with him. our height difference isnt too bad, im only like an inch or 2 taller than him. I think we would both have a great time together. I would make him laugh, and he would help me clean, because lord knows I hate cleaning. BUT i hate cleaning because its something that I always have to do alone, and I feel like levi would have us be cleaning together like he makes the scouts do. and hes just so sexy...
Jean - big yes
This beautiful handsome man... idk what to even say about him. Hes strong, funny, handsome, cocky, but very much full of love. would love to run away from the world with him. I feel like if he was in love with me before *tries not to give away spoilers* the marco incident (?) that after he would become very clingy and attached and im ok with that. There would have to be lots of cuddles and reassurances and i just want to see him happy and not at war, with both real life people and himself... id give him the best kisses and he would become addicted to them.
Mikoto - No? But maybe...
I feel like we could be.. but if you watched the show then you know.. But i would love to be Homra’s princess TBH. No one would mess with me or they would have to face the wrath of my big fire boyfriend and his whole ass gang. But on the other hand I feel like Mikoto wouldnt allow himself to fall in love, so it would probably be a hush hush topic. everyone knows the boss and I are in an entanglement, but they cant talk about it. Then Anna starts asking questions to Mikoto and he has to come clean to her, which would be so cute. He tells her is a secret but she doesn't care lmao. in conclusion, I would want to, but I dont think he would let me.... Maybe friends with benefits tho....
............................................................................................
ok if you read all this im officially in love with you. Please take my heart.
This took me like 2 hours to do because I love thinking about it so much. if you have any thoughts about any of this hop into my dms or comment on this because id love to hear them (especially if you think i belong with one more than the others lmao).

Entry 34: Barely Even a Chapter
Fire Emblem Fates was released as a pair of games, Birthright and Conquest, with the option to download the other campaign and Revelations as a twenty-dollar DLC. Speaking of DLC, this game had a lot of it. Twenty different DLC chapters, plus the two gift ones which I refuse to count as actual chapters. Oddly enough, the final two DLC chapters were never released outside of Japan.
These DLC chapters were split into three different series. All of the DLC in the first in third series feature characters from Conquest, though, so today I’ll be going through series two.
Xenologue 9: Vanguard Dawn
This chapter doesn’t really have a story. It begins with Anna, a merchant who manages the DLC players, tasking the player with defending a fortress as a challenge. This map is a recreation of Chapter 2E: Elincia's Gambit from Radiant Dawn, with the player defending against an army of tough enemies. Winning this chapter gives the Vanguard’s Brand, which allows a unit to transform into a new class based on Ike from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn.
Xenologue 11: Ballistician Blitz
Another challenge map recreation of a level from another Fire Emblem game, this time Chapter 13: The Wooden Cavalry from Shadow Dragon. Anna shows more personality in this one, acting incredibly greedy and expecting the player to die. This map is split into three paths surrounded by forest, with an army of Balisticians, archers with massive range, gunning the player down. The reward is the Sighting Lens, which allows units to become ballisticians.
Xenologue 12: A Gift from Anna
This DLC chapter, along with Xenologues 1 and 14, is free. Which is good, because it’s an advertisement. Once per save file, opening this map will give you an option to get either a Sighting Lens or Witch’s Mark, which you can get extras of by buying more DLC!
Xenologue 13: Witches Trial
You know how this works by now. This chapter is a recreation of a map from a past game, this time Mt. Fear from Gaiden, that gives you a class item, this time a Witch’s Mark that can be used to turn units into witches, a type of mage who can teleport next to allies.
Xenologue 14: Another Gift from Anna
A repeat of Xenologue 12, this time giving either a Paragon, which boosts EXP gained, or Boots.
Now, there are some good DLC chapters in this game. But again, they feature dialogue for Conquest characters. For now, I’m left with the recreations of maps from old games that give good items. Which are fine, but I’d much rather spend money on Hidden Truths or Heirs of Fate, which expand the game’s story.
Let’s do some Supports.
Support: Corrin/Subaki
C: Corrin finds Subaki training. Subaki's stomach growls. He claims that he purposely made his stomach growl to distract enemies before having a breakdown and running away.
B: Corrin finds Subaki eating like a pig to keep his stomach from growling.
A: After Subaki brushes Corrin's attempts to tell him to chill the fuck out, Corrin instead decides to be a counselor for Subaki he can talk about his obsession with perfection with.
S: Subaki comes to Corrin with another problem: he's in love with her. They get together.
Review: Not bad. The stomach growling focus is a bit odd, but Subaki brushing it off as deliberate is funny and him breaking down and admitting he isn’t perfect is a nice character moment.
Support: Felicia/Hayato
C: Hayato is having trouble sleeping after hearing a spooky ghost story when he runs into Felicia, who scares him. Felicia offers to give him a special tea that helps people sleep. Also, considering the fact that every other Felicia support portrays her as being unable to make non-toxic tea, I assume it knocks people out by giving them brain damage.
B: In the morning, Hayato reveals that the tea didn't work because he's consumed so many herbs that he's immune to sleeping drugs. That explains why the game forces me to spend half of the gold I get on his opioid addiction. Felicia gives Hayato a blanket.
A: The blanket, which is soft, works. Felicia says she likes being a big sister to Hayato, who gets mad.
S: Hayato says he doesn't want to be treated like a brother, but like a man. Which makes Felicia thirsty. Like, really thirsty. They get together.
Review: Felicia helping Hayato sleep is sweet, if a bit generic.
Support: Oboro/Rinkah
C: Oboro scolds Rinkah for eating like an animal and leaving a massive mess at the table. Rinkah says it's a cultural thing.
B: Oboro teaches Rinkah to use silverware, convincing her to do so because it keeps her from wasting food.
A: Rinkah learns basic table manners.
Review: Overall this one is fine. I enjoy when Rinkah is just a brutal barbarian, although this one paints her as a bit rude.
Support: Orochi/Silas
C: Orochi warns Silas that something terrible will happen in the next battle. Fortunately, I am playing on Casual mode and Silas is thus immortal. Silas ignores her.
B: Silas survives the battle without a scratch. Orochi claims that Silas only survived because she warned him, but Silas shrugs her off.
A: Orochi injures herself protecting Silas from the danger she predicted. Silas asks why she predicted him after he acted like a jerk and Orochi reveals that she predicted Mikoto's death but was too slow to stop it and is haunted by guilt.
S: Silas give Orochi a wedding ring. Orochi acts like a magic eight ball and tells him to ask again later. Orochi ultimately decides to get together with him, but refuses to look into the future to see if it'll work out because some fortunes are better left unread.
Review: I really liked this one. It did a ton to expand Orochi as a character while still being really fun. The stuff about Mikoto is great and it finally answers the question of whether Orochi can actually see the future or is just a swindler: she’s both.

Toaru Majutsu no Index: Genesis Order - Harsh Judgement
Index was currently in The Guardian’s sanctuary, an Omniversal hub of knowledge and power. Index was currently the master of this place because she had inherited the role as the Guardian of Remnant. As such, she had to get acquainted to the grimoires, books and other items there in order to properly ease into the role.
Of course, lots of it felt overwhelming; she was just given a treasure trove of centuries worth of knowledge and was expected to be able to use such artifacts and grimoires when the time came, but to also ensure that they didn’t fall into the wrong hands.
With her perfect memory, remembering every single detail of info wasn’t much of an issue. In fact, she might have been able to do so a lot easier than her predecessor managed to do within 90 years.
The problem didn’t lay in her memory, but rather the weight that managing this place carried. How was Anna able to accomplish that? How was it that she was able to stay sane during the 90 years she spent anaylizing all of this stuff.
Then there were certain items and grimoires that just didn’t give her any good feelings at all. Some were just too alien to comprehend
One of them was a dark box that didnt seem out of the ordinary at first glance.... maybe that was why she opened it up, thinking it contained some time of magical weapon of mass destruction, but what was waiting inside was much, much worse.
The silver haired nun found herself in a dark void that chilled her to her core, and with it she heard voices speaking to her, all of which did not contain an ounce of human warmth to them.
Quite the opposite in fact.
And they took the form of featureless humanoids that appeared to be embodying the very malice they radiated.
“Index LIbrorum Prohibitorum. The one who pretends to be a saint, the kind one, when behind that mask, you are the most selfish of them all.”
“E-Eh? What are you---”
“Don’t play innocent. You know exactly what we mean. Your reason for being here is as hallow as your heart, even when millions of lives are on the line. You only joined this organization so you can aid Kamijou Touma. Your motivations are the same as Misaka Mikoto and Shokuhou Misaki, where they have chosen to save the world in order to stand along side that boy. You are no different. Had he not been a factor, you would not have joined the Cosmic Security Coalition and thus inherited the role of The Guardian.”
“T-That’s not true..! I would’ve helped even if Touma wasn’t involved! If...If they asked for me specifically, I would’ve helped! If anything, Touma would’ve jumped in to help too!”
“This goes beyond the C.S.C. They extend to your current duties as the Guardian. Right now, you have your duty of watching over Remnant, yet you choose to ignore it because of Kamijou Touma. You are that world’s protector, yet you are abandoning it for one insignificant person. It is a dereliction of duty. And those who refuse to perform their duties, and take responsibility for their own actions... are not human. Merely a dog.”
“Th...That’s...”
“And let’s talk about Kamijou Touma. The fact that your actions are dictated by his presence isn’t the worst part about all of this. It is the fact that you treat him like absolute scum, even when forces beyond his control are inflicted upon him. You berate him, assault him, cause him needless trouble, and you are probably all that stands between him and seeking happiness with someone he may develop feelings for. someone that is not you. Can you really stand there and say you are helping him when you’re doing the opposite?”
“That’s not true.... I... I wouldn’t hurt him... I could never...”
“But it is. Just accept it. even when things were peaceful, you never once pitched in to help him with basic chores and whatnot. Instead, you chose to sit on your ass, watch TV, eat up all of his food, then berate him for not having any food left. Were he not the sort of person you admire him as, he would have thrown you out ages ago. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if the thought ever crossed his mind. Index, you are a disgrace. A disgrace to the title you bear, a disgrace as a nun, and a disgrace as a human. You aid Kamijou Touma for selfish reasons while at the same time, not not doing enough, all the more as you injure him and talk down to him as if he were your slave. You have no right to bear the title as the Guardian of Remnant. You have no right to call yourself a nun of the cross, and you have no right to stand at the side of that boy. There have been other girls and women who did a much better job at being his support. The Magic God Othinus has enough knowledge when it comes to magic, you aren’t needed any more. Kamijou Touma would be better off if you simply disappeared.”
“I...I...!!”
Her entire spirit had been torn down and broken.
Who or whatever this entity was, it had seen through her, and brought everything out into the light. Index wanted to deny it. She wanted to deny everything they had said about her, but deep down, she knew that they were telling the truth.
She was not a help to Kamijou Touma at all. She was in fact, a burden on him and the others. She had been selfish, and had been the only thing keeping Kamijou from truly being happy.
She wanted to be his support, but after that was all said, could she even call herself that? Should she?
A wave of intense emotions hit her like a freight train as tears came down her cheeks, being unable to fully process them. She knew that she was ashamed, disgusted by just how horrible she really was. For the first time, she questioned herself, her worth, and what she had been doing all this time.
She didn’t deserve to be called an understander, a Guardian or a nun. Those thoughts circled through her mind as she dropped too her knees, shaking, unaware that she was back in the Sanctuary.
And in that huge place that had no other humans in there, she sobbed uncontrollably, a defined self hatred growing within the centure of her heart.
The sobs grew loud until she found herself laying on the floor in a fetal position, crying into her knees, until she fell unconscious.
“I’m sorry,” were her last thoughts before sleeping.

How close Shohei would be with the other members of homra ?
Hi! Thanks for sending me an ask! I’m so sorry I was late with this, but I was so busy with other things so I didn’t have much time to answer this properly. There may be some grammar mistakes so please bare with me.
So I’m gonna go by what we already know in canon plus some hcs of mine. In other words, when it comes to how close Shouhei is with the others, this is how it would be like:
Bandou > Eric > Chitose > Kamamoto > Dewa > Fujishima > Yata > Totsuka > Kusanagi > Anna > Mikoto
Bandou: This one is pretty obvious. Despite them being both minor characters, the anime/manga has pretty much established that these two are best friends (likewise with Chitose/Dewa & Eric/Fujishima). I hc that Shouhei loves to piss Bandou off on purpose by pretending to play dumb (and that he finds it fucking hilarious when Yata goes after Bandou).
Eric: After Bandou, I see Shouhei interacting with Eric the most. I think bc of the fact that they’re the most recent members of HOMRA (and i don’t think there’s a large gap between when they joined), they have their own unique bond and Shouhei looks at Eric as a little brother he never had (this is coming from someone who ships them).
Chitose: Chitose & Shouhei seem to be the most extroverted ones out of the abc boys so I can see them chilling during the weekends, hitting the social scene/night life more often than the others. I also headcanon them to be gym buddies!
Kamamoto: We don’t see them interact much but I can see them being good friends? If anything, Shouhei & Kamamoto are very alike cause they’re the middle ground in homra. They’re not extremely violent like Yata, but they’re not the most calm ones like Fuji or Dewa imo. I can’t help but want more content of their friendship ever since that one scene of homra in circle vision where these two were lost in their own conversation.
Dewa: In what little fan & official content we see of the abc boys, I sometimes see Akagi, Bandou, Chitose, & Dewa grouped off (excluding Eric & Fujishima but that’s another topic for another day). And I feel like the Akagi/Dewa duo would be a calm contrast against the chaotic Bandou/Chitose duo (y’all already know how much i adore bantose).
Fujishima: I honestly haven’t really thought much of a Fuji/Shouhei duo until @anewmourning brought them up once and honestly? They would be a really good duo. I don’t think they’d be super close, but i think they would compliment each other very well, since they’re both pretty level headed and empathetic.
Yata: I’m not exactly sure on how I’d describe their dynamic, but from what I read in Shouhei’s short story, Shouhei is one of the few people who can casually joke around with Yata without the latter bursting out in anger (sorry Bandou). So yeah, I can see them casually cracking jokes and hanging out with each other, whether its in the local arcade or bursting into another gang’s hideout.
Totsuka: Y’know, Totsuka and Shouhei share a similar personality (in which they’re both pretty impulsive, laidback, and super cheerful compared to the rest of the gang). Totsuka was also the first person to welcome Shouhei into homra and notice that he was worried about something when he first joined the clan. So you’d figure that they’d be superrrr close and shit, but I actually don’t see that. Despite being on friendly terms, i see them both being more close with their own respective group.
Kusanagi: Kusanagi is like the go-to person for advice for pretty much all the boys, including Shouhei. I can see Shouhei dropping by whenever the bar isn’t busy, and venting to Kusanagi about any issues he has, (that is, if he learned his lesson about bottling his issues up) while Kusanagi listens and offers any valuable input, while making him a drink. I can also see Shouhei being one of the first few people Kusanagi relies on when it comes to certain tasks, whether its miniscule things like taking Anna out for shopping, or more gang related activities in which he has Shouhei hack into the systems of any gang homra is planning to hunt down.
Anna: According to canon, when Kusanagi & Totsuka aren’t available, Shouhei is the one to take Anna out for shopping. Like the other guys, its safe to say that Anna is the little sister Shouhei never had so he would always be doting on her and buying her candies whenever he drops by the bar.
Mikoto: If there is one person who Shouhei doesn’t get along with for sure, its Mikoto. Not to say that there’s some animosity between them. If anything, Shouhei is intimidated by Mikoto, whereas Mikoto is aloof/indifferent as usual.
#Anonymous#anon#ask#this took me forever to answer im so sorry#i just wanted to explain why i believed shouhei would be closer to some members than others#and i never shut the fuck up about shouhei tbh#i'll work on the other ask soon!

things i love about k project:
the bright animation. despite being about people in the city the cityscapes and landscapes have vibrant colors. even though there arent sparkles E V E R Y W H E R E like in a certain anime i could mention, everything with light sources nearby seems to radiate light and welcome.
the music. it's so calming, i love being able to watch fight scenes without forte-level sounds blasting my ears. if i had to describe it by comparing it to another ost i'd say k project's is what the battle tendency ost on a chill pill would sound like
the characters. we have our seven kings, of whom we've only officially met 5 of in season one. and we have their various subordinates and group members, and how they look at the world. i love how green and blue are run more like a military, while the colorless king is more of a trickster, and silver has been a lonely sky nomad until now. red is like a whole found family.
that said, i believe anna does a better job at being in charge of red than mikoto did. he always seemed burdened by his leadership, while she took on the responsibilities aware of what red was lacking. (i mean this in the most compassionate way - i still cried when mikoto died despite knowing it was coming).
that the creators put in fushimi as someone who turned his back on red to join blue. though blue seems to be where he belongs, he does have regrets about leaving, and only gets excited when fighting against yato, his former partner. to me that seems more like the two are in love and don't know how to express it in words, though. theyre kinda a parallel to mikoto and munakata in that respect.
#k project notes#more to be added later#i finished my season 1 rewatch in under a day#these are from my rewatch + w/e else i can remember from my first watch of s2 & the movie

Awakening: Part 10
When another crisis looms, Mikoto has to learn to navigate a world of Kings as a regular man.
AU in which Mikoto and Tatara survived the Colourless King incident.
Pairing: Mikoto/Tatara
3,255 words. CW for canon-typical violence, mentions of depression and other mental health issues. CW especially for anxiety attacks/PTSD in this chapter.
Apologies for the delay in updating - I was busy with Mikototsu week, and then busy over Christmas, and then January deadline season was kicking my ass.

It hadn’t been long since Anna’s birthday, but it felt like all of a sudden, the lull after the opposition to Homra reforming had shattered, and it seemed there was some new commotion every few hours. Rumours were that the Blue clan had it worse, but the change of pace had still been somewhat jarring. At the moment, though, there was a brief period of calm, and the Red clansmen had gathered to chill out in the bar as they had done so often before Homra had dissolved. Being busy was kind of nice, though - things almost felt like they were getting back to how they’d been before Homra dissolved.
“Hey, Yata-san… Looks like Anna and Tatara fell asleep,” Rikio pointed out. The two of were curled up together on one of the couches in the bar, with Anna’s head resting on Tatara’s arm.
“Guys, don’t just stand there, put a blanket on the little lady,” Yō interjected, picking one up to drape it over the sleeping pair.
“Yeah, it is getting pretty chilly these days,” Masaomi agreed.
“Chitose… I heard you and Dewa had a scuffle with the Blues last night,” Misaki asked.
Yō rested his arm on his friend’s shoulder, clasping a cigarette between his lips as Masaomi pulled out a lighter to ignite it for him.
“Oh, that was just a run-in with the pretty Lieutenant,” Yō explained.
“I guess they wanted to save face. But they were on our turf so we couldn’t back down. In the end, Kusanagi-san stepped in to bring things under control,” Masaomi added.
“I see.”
“Eric and I also came close to clashing with the Blues,” Kosuke interjected from the other side of the room. “At least it didn’t blow up into something bigger.”
“Those Blues had been on constant alert lately and keep poking around,” Eric said.
“You guys too?!” Misaki cried, exasperated.
Meanwhile, Shouhei turned to Saburouta, leaning over him and resting his hand on his shoulder to peer at the screen of the laptop he appeared to be concentrating intently on. “Hey, San-chan, what’re you up to?”
“Hmm? I’ve been noticing a lot of activity on the net…” Before he could elaborate on what exactly he meant, something appeared to catch Saburouta’s attention, and his brow furrowed. “Hey, what’s this?!”
Shouhei leaned forward, staring at the screen as he made a noise of apparent shock.
“What is it, Shouhei?” Misaki asked.
Whatever it was, it seemed to have him deeply perturbed. “Take a look…” he said, and the rest of the clan gathered around the screen of the laptop, muttering. They fell silent at the sight of the video on the screen, though.
Pixelated text reading “Homra is over” unravelled across the screen, then vanished, replaced by a Homra insignia, once again in a pixelated style, as though it was from some retro games console. It was accompanied by almost eerily cheerful-sounding chiptune music. Over the top, brightly coloured writing reading “the end of Homra” rose from the bottom of the screen, and then the screen turned briefly black once more. Immediately after, a short, video-game style animation played, showing the sprite of Tatara on the roof of a building, being shot by another sprite who was clearly supposed to be the Colourless King. Misaki glanced back over his shoulder at Tatara, who was blessedly still asleep.
“The weakest clansman really was the weakest…” the text appeared across the top of the video, and then the image changed once more to a sprite of Mikoto wearing a crown, approached once more by the Colourless King’s sprite. There was a flash and the Colourless King vanished, and Mikoto’s sprite flickered and got smaller like a character in a game who’d lost a life. The crown was gone from atop his head.
More text reading: “…But the foolish King became even weaker!”
The screen went black again, and large blue lettering reading: “KING HAS FALLEN, HOMRA IS DEAD” appeared, followed by the text: “GAME OVER.” The video finished on that screen.
There was a moment of quiet after the clip ended as the clan collectively seethed, almost too angry to speak.
Rikio was the first to break the silence, pulling out his phone and dialling Izumo. “Someone should go tell Mikoto-san,” he said as the phone rang.
When Izumo picked up, Rikio put him on speaker. “Kusanagi-san, we came across something…”
“Was it the video?” Izumo cut in.
“How did you know?”
“It was just broadcast across the city.”
“It was what?!” Misaki cried.
“Yata-san, you’ll wake…” Rikio started chiding, but as he turned to face the pair napping on the couch, he saw Tatara was already sitting up, and Anna’s eyes were open.
“Why does everyone have such serious expressions?” Tatara asked, still drowsy.
“Come see…” Rikio said gravely, and the two of them got to their feet and headed over to the screen of the laptop that Rikio was gesturing at. Saburouta hit play once more.
“I’m on my way back now, get Bandou on trying to track where the signal is being broadcast from,” Izumo said.
“On it,” Saburouta replied, waiting for Anna and Tatara to finish watching the video.
“Don’t do anything until I get back; we need to work out how to respond to this.”
The video’s end screen flashed up on the monitor as the clip finished its second playthrough, and Tatara sighed lightly, as though it was nothing more than a minor annoyance. “It seems like they’re just trying to get under our skin, like they want to provoke us. I agree, we should figure out how to deal with this in a measured way, otherwise we’re just playing into their hands. Does Mikoto know?”
As if on cue, the door that led upstairs to the apartment above the bar opened, and Mikoto stepped through. “Know what?” His hair was somewhat fluffy, like it’d just been blow dried, and it hadn’t yet been styled.
“Have you seen the video?” Tatara asked.
“It came on the TV.” There was a tension in his posture that betrayed his irritation with the situation.
Misaki, who appeared to have been stewing in his anger, finally reached bursting point and blurted: “We can’t just let them walk all over us! People have tried to make us mad before, and we’ve shown them that it’s a mistake, because when we get mad it ends badly for them, not for us!”
“It could be a trap,” Rikio pointed out.
“Our actions are up to Anna,” Tatara said gently.
She nodded, having remained in pensive silence since the video ended. “They want to provoke us, and we shouldn’t do what they want. We’ll pay them back for their disrespect, but we should wait for Izumo and decide what to do. We shouldn’t play into their hands.”
“I have the location,” Saburouta cut in. “It was really easy to find.”
“Isn’t that a bad sign? Do you think they’re trying to lure us into a trap?” Kosuke asked.
“It could be,” Akagi replied.
At that moment, Izumo opened the door, looking slightly harried, obviously having rushed to get there. “What’s the situation?”
“We’ve located the source of the feed, but it was suspiciously easy,” Tatara said.
“Depending on who it’s comin’ from, it’s either a trap or they’re just sloppy. My instinct’s the former,” Izumo said. “I doubt it’s from any o’ the smaller scale resistance we got when we first started reforming. They don’t have the resources for this kinda thing, and they’ve quietened down since we taught ‘em a lesson.”
“Who else could it be?” Eric asked.
“Jungle, maybe. Sceptre 4’s Lieutenant says they’ve been having issues with the Greens. If it’s them, it’s almost certainly a trap.”
“Well, it’s the only lead we have…” Tatara pointed out.
“Anna, what do you want to do?” Izumo asked.
“We can’t ignore the lead. We should send a scout ahead,” she said, looking at Misaki. “But the rest of us shouldn’t be far behind, so we have the manpower to fight if it is a trap. Show them we’re too strong to be messed with, and if they provoke us, it will only end up burning them.”
“I can do that,” Misaki replied enthusiastically.
Anna nodded her consent, and he rushed to grab his skateboard as Saburouta sent him the address, and then she glanced up at Mikoto, as though to ask if he approved of her actions. He gave her a small nod of endorsement, and the clan prepared to leave.
As they headed through the doors of the bar, Mikoto said quietly to Anna: “Ya don’t need my approval for everything. You’re your own King. Even if you do things differently, maybe that’s better.”
“Okay.”
“…You’re doin’ a good job,” he added.
Anna smiled faintly. “Thank you.” She paused, then added. “You aren’t weak.”
He lay his hand on her shoulder affectionately, and what could have been the ghost of a smile flickered over his lips.
When the clan arrived at the location, it seemed Saruhiko had also been sent ahead of Sceptre 4, and predictably, he and Misaki were already locked in a heated scuffle.
“Yata, that’s enough!” Izumo called as they entered the building, and at almost the same time, Seri’s voice rang from the opposite side of the foyer as Sceptre 4’s special forces squad arrived.
“Fushimi! Stand down!”
The two disengaged with discontented grumbles, and re-joined their respective clans. As they did so, Tatara noticed Mikoto looking around out of the corner of his eye.
“What?”
“We’ve been here before. While you were in hospital,” he explained.
“My my, you all seem quite upset, aren’t you, Homra?” Reisi said from the other side of the room, adjusting his glasses.
“Damn right!” Misaki shouted. “Mikoto-san and Totsuka-san were slandered. We’ll make ‘em pay!”
“Kusanagi Izumo, we want you to back down,” Seri said. “We will deal with the Green Clan.”
“Sorry, Lieutenant Awashima, but Yata’s right. Those idiots have to find out the hard way that messing with any of us means getting burned. And I mean literally,” he replied, pulling his lighter out of his pocket and toying with it between his fingers. “That’s the only way Homra will be satisfied.”
“If you put it that way, we’ve been taken for fools too,” Reisi reasoned. “This choice of place is no coincidence, don’t you think?”
Mikoto chuckled humourlessly.
Suddenly, Anna tensed. “They’re here!”
Reisi rested a hand on the hilt of his sword. “Don’t watch from behind the lines; show yourself.”
As he spoke dozens of figures stepped forward, looming from the balconies higher in the building – the upper floors were teeming with men in black and green masks, who seemed to outnumber Homra and Sceptre 4 put together 4 to 1. Most of them held PDAs in their hands.
“The bait was so obvious, and you took it!” an electronic-sounding voice called down to them.
The ambush began muttering excitedly amongst themselves, something about points, and the names of Red and Blue clansmen drifted down to them. The two clans in the foyer prickled with mistrust, anticipating a fight.
Another distorted voice broke through the mumbling with a gleeful shout: "So anyway, we have nothing against you guys, but it's all for the points! So die for us, will ya?"
The masked men were laughing, almost jubilant, as they pulled what looked like green parrot plushies from their pockets. It was eerie how eager they seemed to try to kill dozens of complete strangers, all for the sake of points on some phone game? The realisation of just how twisted Jungle's philosophy was settled uneasily over the two clans in the foyer as the Greens threw the parrot toys down onto them. As they hit the ground, they swelled as though they were about to burst, but before any harm could be done, the Blue aura swept outwards to envelop the members of both clans, knocking the toys away and forming a protective cocoon around the clansmen. Dozens of ear-splitting bangs echoed through the room as the toys exploded, seeming to shake the very air in the building, and clouds of thick, grey smoke obscured everything outside of the protective bubble of the Blue aura.
The smoke cleared with a rush of air, and the Greens looked down in shock to see the two groups of clansmen standing unharmed.
"What's going on?"
"Why aren't they dead?!"
"Such a vile and disgusting sedition," Reisi said gravely. "Our lock-up is not what you would call comfortable. I hope you're prepared."
"I can vouch for that," Mikoto added.
"You said Homra is dead? Don't you know? We have a new King. A strong King who rivals Mikoto," Izumo announced as Anna stepped forward, holding her head high.
"You disrespected and laughed at my family." As she spoke, her aura blazed around her, filling the room with crimson light. Her Sword of Damocles rose into the sky above the glass roof of the building, just as Mikoto's had all that time ago. "I won't forgive you."
The sight of her gave Tatara chills.
"Shall we begin then? For our cause is pure!" Reisi announced, and behind him, Seri cried out:
"Men, draw your swords!"
As each of the Blue clansmen raised their blades with a flourish and their aura sparked upwards from their feet, Izumo said: "Time for us too."
"Don't let those Blues get all the credit!" Misaki cried.
The rest of Homra didn't need telling twice. As the Red aura swirling around them burned hotter still, they raised their fists and stomped their feet against the tiles.
"No blood! No bone! No ash! No blood! No bone! No ash!" The chorus of shouts echoed preternaturally through the building.
Mikoto normally didn't take part in the chant as King, but Tatara noticed this time, he was joining in - he didn't stamp and punch the air like the others, but he murmured the words along with them. Something about the gesture was heartening.
"Do not let the Red clan outshine us!" Seri cried, directing her men forwards. The sound shook Tatara from his thoughts.
"Leave this to me!" Misaki shouted, running forwards to initiate the counterattack.
Meanwhile, the Greens had recovered from their initial shock and were preparing their plan B, pulling sub-machine guns from their backpacks and taking aim at the clans below.
Tatara had just enough time to freeze up at the sight of the weapons before the deafening chatter of gunfire began. After a second, he felt Mikoto’s arms wrap around him, pulling him in tightly against his chest, but the sensation was hazy, like Tatara had been out in the cold and his skin was beginning to go numb. He felt cold; the terror that the sound, so loud and so close, instilled in him was like ice water dumped over him, seeping into his veins. His legs crumpled beneath him, until Mikoto’s strength was all that was keeping him from slumping onto the floor. He was vaguely aware of an aura surrounding the two of them, but not whose or even what colour, and its presence brought him no comfort. The scar on his ribcage ached, and the fear was suffocating him, and he was hyperventilating and felt like he couldn’t breathe all at the same time. He was more afraid than he’d been that night on the rooftop when he thought he was dying, because then he’d been resigned to it, but now…
I don’t want to die I don’t want to leave them there’s so much I still want to do I don’t want to die I don’t want to die I don’t want to die
The panicked, half-coherent thoughts were almost drowned out by the gunfire.
Tatara only barely registered the fact that he was suddenly outside, evidently having been ushered out of the building by Mikoto. He was only alerted to the change of scenery by the way the wind made the tears on his cheeks feel cold.
“You’re safe. You’re safe,” he vaguely heard Mikoto reassuring him, but it didn’t quite register beneath the clatter of the bullets that Tatara barely even noticed subsiding as, one by one, the Greens abandoned their mission as a lost cause, spooked by the way the auras of the other clans rendered their weapons ineffective. It wasn’t until the echo of the shots ringing in his ears finally subsided completely that Tatara really understood what was being said to him.
“Breathe,” Mikoto said.
It took a while, but Tatara slowly forced his aching lungs to inhale and exhale in time with Mikoto.
“I’m… s-sorry…” was the first thing he managed to say.
“It’s okay.”
“I e-embarrassed… Anna…” Tatara’s voice hitched on his tears every other syllable. “They th-think Homra’s weak… I proved them r-right…”
“They’re running scared in there. They don’t think Homra’s weak.”
Tatara sniffled, wiping his eyes on his sleeve. His hands trembled as he did so.
“Do you want me to stop carrying a gun?” Mikoto asked softly.
“I can’t ask you to…”
“Yes you can.”
Reluctantly, Tatara nodded.
“I f-feel… stupid…”
“It’s not your fault.” As Mikoto spoke, he rubbed Tatara’s arm comfortingly. Somehow, the tenderness of his voice and his touch was helping to soothe Tatara’s racing heartbeat now that the gunfire had ceased. There was something about the way someone normally so gruff and frightening as Mikoto handled him with such gentleness that was deeply comforting. Still, Tatara didn’t know if he quite believed what Mikoto said about him not embarrassing his clan. He was embarrassed with himself, at least – it was rare the rest of Homra ever saw him upset. He was so careful to keep up appearances as a cheerful and carefree person, but it seemed like he’d broken down in front of everyone more times in the last few weeks than he had in all the years since the clan formed put together. It was endlessly frustrating, and Tatara didn’t know why he was struggling so much to keep it all in.
After a moment, the door opened and Izumo emerged.
“Totsuka, you okay?” To Tatara’s relief, Izumo only sounded concerned – there was no disappointment or anger in his voice.
Tatara managed a shaky nod.
“How did it go?” Mikoto asked.
“They turned tail ‘n’ ran as soon as they realised their weapons didn’t work against auras, didn’t even get a chance to fight ‘em. They disappeared with their tails between their legs before we could even get up to the higher floors of the building. Couple o’ the clansmen are giving chase to see if we can catch any of ‘em and interrogate them, and I think the Blues managed to round up a handful.” As Izumo spoke, he pulled a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to Tatara. “No one blames you, ya know. I figure I’d’a reacted the same if I’d been through what you had.”
Tatara nodded slowly, wiping his eyes and blowing his nose. Somehow, hearing the confirmation come from someone other than Mikoto was more reassuring – after all, Mikoto was biased.
“Mikoto, there’s somethin’ else you should know,” Izumo continued.
“What?”
Izumo gestured upwards at the two Swords of Damocles circling above the building, and the debris slowly crumbling away from Reisi’s. Mikoto’s brow furrowed.
“I figure you should talk to him about that,” Izumo said.
Mikoto grunted in agreement, a troubled look on his face as he watched the dust float down from the cracks in the blue Sword.

Could I request #8. Reaction Prompt for Homra (K project)? Iwould love to see all of their reactions
Of course you can! Thank you for the request and I hope you’ll enjoy!
SEND A “ϖ” FOR MY MUSE’S REACTION TO BEING SENT ACCIDENTAL NUDES
Anyone who knows Mikoto well will know that he honestly never thinks to check his text messages and it takes him a while to see any messages sent that way. If something is important and someone really wants to get ahold of him, they will know that calling him is the quickest way. So, it’s really very likely that the person who sent him nudes accidentally will have plenty of time to realize their mistake before Mikoto even clicks on the message and to either recall the message or follow up with a string of texts to hide the pictures, begging him not to look at them and that they were sent in accident. Mikoto’s honestly the kind of guy who, since he was told the messages were accidental and not to look, just wouldn’t look at them. Obviously they weren’t meant for him, and the person doesn’t want him to see them, so he’s going to respect their wishes that way.
Anna’s just really confused. Not by the fact that they were taking nude pictures. Anna’s around the HOMRA boys a lot and she really does overhear a lot more than they think she does, so she understands the concept of nudes. It’s more that she’s really confused as to why they sent them to her and she’s likely to just go show the messages to someone and ask for their opinion on what to do because she isn’t sure. Even though the messages were definitely unintentionally sent to her, there’s a very high chance that whoever she goes to will make sure, in a very violent way, that the person remembers to check the number they send those kinds of things to, because honestly, most of the HOMRA members are very, very protective of Anna and her innocence.
Chitose’s reaction is really going to depend on how attractive he finds the person who sent him the picture. If he doesn’t find them at all attractive, he’s going to send a very disgusted, annoyed string of texts and emojis asking them why the fuck they sent him those and how his eyes didn’t really need to see that and honestly, he’s definitely the guy who would show their nudes to the others, just to get their opinions. If Chitose did find the person attractive, he’s not even thinking twice or hesitating at all, he’s saving those pictures to his phone and he’s taking it as a sign that they’re into him so he’s definitely going to make a move. Even finding them attractive, he’s definitely the asshole who would still show the pictures to the others, mostly to brag in that circumstance.
Kamamoto is really going to very much have a non-reaction. He’s pretty smart, despite what people think, and he definitely doesn’t assume right away that the pictures were meant for him, since they came out of the blue with no previous hints that the person was hot for him or anything. He does see the pictures, but he doesn’t, like, linger overly long on them or anything, just sending a quick message along the lines of ‘wtf? wrong number?’
Yata is freaked the fuck out and flustered beyond belief. He would lose his mind even if the person he received nudes from was a romantic partner who had expressed interest in him sexually because the boy has no chill when it comes to anything even remotely sexually. And because the pictures came out of the blue from someone who was not in a relationship with him, who he didn’t think had been flirting with him…it’s really going to seriously rattle him and his reaction will be rather loud and very obvious, since he’s going redder than a tomato when he sees the picture and, if he’s around the other guys, one of them is definitely going to be curious enough to swipe his phone quick enough to see the texts and to start teasing Yata about them. Even alone, it’s going to take Yata forever to decide what to do about the nudes on his phone. Does he respond? Should he respond? How should he respond? He just keeps looking at them, even if he really doesn’t feel like he should and he’s just so unsure of why they sent him those. Is this their way of trying to make a move on him? It’s really very likely that the person who sent him the pictures would realize their mistake and would send him a text apologizing and explaining the situation before Yata ever figured out what to do about it all.
Shouhei and Dewa are honestly going to have about the same reaction, which is a really chill reaction overall honestly. They’re not going to pretend they didn’t see the pictures, because they definitely saw them and definitely did take a good look at them if they thought the person was at all attractive, but they’re both quick to realize that it’s a wrong message and they weren’t the intended recipient, so they’re either texting or calling the person and giving them the heads up that they sent the pictures to the wrong person. Shouhei’s probably going to throw in a compliment, telling the person the pictures made them look hot and he’ll be curious about the intended recipient of those pictures. Dewa is more chill about his compliment and just wishes the person good luck with whatever lucky bastard was meant to get those pictures, just subtly complimenting the person and kind of subtly hinting at his own interest in them.
Bandou is so flustered but like…holy fuck, there’s nudes on his phone, this is the best day of his life. He is thanking his lucky stars that his eyes were blessed with those pictures and he’s honestly assuming that they were meant for him and that the person who sent them to him is making a move on him. He’s probably going to try to play it cool, sending them return nudes (that definitely took him a lot longer to take than they should’ve, since he kept retaking them to get it just right) and a message he would think was really smooth and flirty.
Kusanagi and Totsuka definitely have the most mature reactions of the group. They’re both intelligent and have been around enough to know that the pictures weren’t meant for them, and they do their best not to give into the temptation to really look at the picture, just quickly deleting the message. They’d send a return text telling the person that they’d sent the pictures to the wrong person and that they should be more careful with that in the future, but that the pictures had been deleted so they didn’t have to worry or feel bad about it. Mistakes happen, after all.
Eric’s confused and strangely horny. Like, the pictures are hot but why the hell did they send them to him? Is this them making a move? He’s sending a text quickly in reply, just something generic like ‘what’s up?’, hoping that they’ll explain a little bit more…or send more pictures. He’d be cool if they did that.
Fujishima is a little thrown off by the pictures. They’re definitely unexpected and I’m not going to lie to ya’ll – he definitely does take a good look at them but he’s respectful and deletes the message pretty quick, since he’s assuming the pictures were sent to him in error and he really does mostly pretend that they were never sent and that he never saw them, just so that he doesn’t make the other person uncomfortable.

totsuka having a random hippie phase out of nowhere and one time "accidentally" smoking pot in homra bar to calm his "spiritual side"
In which Totsuka briefly turns Bar Homra into a hookah bar entirely on accident XD Like imagine he’s exploring some new hobby like basket weaving or hitchhiking or something and he happens to run into this roving band of stoners. The smell is a bit much but Totsuka thinks these are very amusing people, they’re extremely calm and keep talking about how this helps them get in touch with their spiritual side. They also happen to be hungry so Totsuka offers to take them to Bar Homra, chatting with them the whole way. When they get to the bar imagine Kusanagi giving Totsuka this look like who did you bring into my bar this time and Totsuka just smiles innocently, these are very spiritual people Kusanagi-san it’ll be fine. As the guys drink and eat Totsuka hangs out in their booth and learns all about spiritual communion and crystals and becoming one with the universe.
The next day Kusanagi walks into his bar and his nose immediately wrinkles at the smell. The smoke doesn’t smell like Mikoto’s usual cigarettes (and from the couch Mikoto’s like ‘it isn’t me’). Totsuka is sitting in the corner of the bar in a lotus pose, smoking a joint and telling Kusanagi that he’s communing with the universe. Kusanagi isn’t sure why Totsuka has to commune with the universe in his bar and Totsuka sagely says this place is closest to the divine. Kusanagi has this tolerant look on his face as he’s like is that so, well Anna’s here too so you better take that divine universe and do it somewhere else. Totsuka sees the look in Kusanagi’s eye and says he will commune elsewhere and return.
He shows back up later that evening with a few followers that just suddenly showed up, everyone is smoking and trying to tell fortunes with crystals and Kusanagi is going to have to steam clean his bar at this rate. Imagine for the next few days despite Kusanagi’s best efforts people just keep showing up, somehow Totsuka has amassed a following who see him as a true prophet of the divine. Kusanagi just hopes Totsuka didn’t get the weed from anywhere untoward, Mikoto shrugs and doesn’t mention the plants Totsuka has been growing in the basement for the last couple days. After about a week of this Kusanagi is very not chill or one with the universe and is ready to kick Totsuka and his followers out, which is when he walks into the bar to find Totsuka diligently cleaning up and chatting to Anna, no smoke anywhere to be seen. Totsuka happily explains that he got bored of being one with the universe and decided to move on to something else, his spirit has been cleansed enough for now and it’s time to try out crochet instead.
#k project#Totsuka Tatara#Talking K#...should I make a Totsuka No tag too XD#he just wanted to get in touch with the world or whatever#Kusanagi had to fumigate the bar after this

bluekinged replied to your post “do u guys have pokemon teams for ur characters / ocs bc holds out...”
8000 years later + i still need to see mikoto + munakata's pokemon teams
first of all how did you even find this old post sdgjksdfg i swear i posted a trainer card before i just... can’t find it... nor do i have my old hcs saved anywhere so i had to recycle the ones i still remember lmao
some additional info bc i got way too invested in this au lmao (don’t look at my sprite)
- kanto-based... obviously - kind of debated whether or not he’d be a gym leader but ultimately decided on elite four (or elite seven in this case) - he doesn’t give a shit about balance or stats so his choices are more than a little arbitrary - most of his pokemon look mean as shit lmao (on top of being very stubborn and relentless) - i was gonna give him a moltres but nah. that's more like an anna type of pokemon tbh - same with absol? doesn’t fit his general theme despite the fact that it’s a disaster pokemon and mikoto’s the epitome of a disaster
quick rundown of his team
charizard: starter, just as stubborn as its trainer, slightly disobedient despite mikoto's rank, dependable when needed, flame burns more brightly depending on its mood/health (and i quote “its fire will burn hotter as it gains experience”) voltorb: volatile temperament, will explode if bumped or agitated, reluctantly affectionate, big dumb ball mikoto stumbled upon by accident and basically challenged to blow up on him with a single look (needless to say it did and mikoto kept it bc “it’s got moxie”) houndoom: shiver-inducing howl, toxins used to induce fire eminate a foul odor, wounds inflicted will never heal, intimidating but pretty chill all things considered, most obedient of the bunch and yet somewhat of a judgemental asshole tyranitar: big, scary, always looking for a fight, thick + rocky hide with a good resistance to all forms of attack and yet mikoto managed to hurt its feelings upon their first encounter by accidentally insulting it, gap moe as hell braviary: scarred and extremely aggressive, dislikes mikoto but prefers mikoto’s friends, hates carrying him around and threatened to drop him mid-flight more than once
gyarados: mikoto's useless magikarp that accidentally evolved, both violent and attracted to mikoto’s violence, too troublesome for his taste as it’s difficult to tame, mikoto lets it flip its shit in peace tbh
bonus
yveltal: aka the legendary anna inherits from mikoto later on (you'd expect cute pokemon and then there's this little girl with a fucking yveltal), hates munakata, esp. munakata, basically just munakata
#bluekinged#( hc. )#WHAT'S MY HC TAG I DON'T REMEMBER#I NEEEEEED A POKEMON VERSE BC IM A FUCKING NERD#it's all jing's fault i swear their pkm au mikoto looks snazzy as fuck#im just gonna tag this#pokemon au#so i can come back to it once i have a proper verse figured out

Trans Yata Headcanons
Long post so all headcanons are after the line~ in a messy format.
WARNINGS: Talk about LGBT issues, blood, gender dysphoria, talks of panic attacks. If it bothers you DO NOT READ
Coming out:
Mom:
He came out to his mom really early, though she had a feeling for awhile. Once he moved to a new school (LSW) she made sure that all the teachers thought he was born with a male body. she would do anything she could for her little boy.
Saruhiko:
Saru found out at the worst possible time. Yata was sitting in class chilling, all of a sudden he paled and asked to go to the bathroom. 20 minutes past, Saru asked to go to the bathroom, thinking Yata skipped class. He found Yata in the bathroom, he was hiding in a stall and was on his PDA talking to his mom. He was telling her that there was blood in his underwear, that he was in pain, and he was scared. Saru put two and two together (they had health class a week and a half before) so he went to the nurse's office and got some pads.(in my school pads were in a bucket in the library so I'm going off that)
When Saru got back, he just put his hand under the stall door, Yata freaked the fuck out, like panic attack freaked out. Saru just kept saying stuff like “you are still a boy Misaki, just use these so you can go home or something” Yata did what he had to do and walked out of the stall. Saru watched him as he washed his hands. He then put a hand on Yata shoulder and just smiled. They both skipped school and played video games.
Mikoto Suoh, Izumo Kusanagi, and Tatara Tosuka:
Yata got badly injured in a fight, a slash on his back. Saruhiko never came on that fight, mostly because it was a small mission that didn't need him, so he was chilling at home and had no idea what was happening to poor Yata. Yata kept on saying that Saru could fix him up at home. Izumo was going into mama mode and would not let Yata leave until they checked out the wound. Izumo just grabbed Yata’s shirt and started lifting it up, Yata freaked out, he was so scared that his body exploded in fire. Izumo jumped back and everyone in the bar just stared at Yata. Mikoto just happened to walk in at that moment, he saw Yata, walked over to him and bent down so they were at eye level. “You okay kid?” was all he said, before shaking his head, of course, Yata was not okay. They got Yata to go to Mikoto’s room to calm down. Izumo, Mikoto, and Tatara came into the room not long after. Izumo tried explaining they need to see Yata’s wound, Yata really, really didn't want that. Tatara tried finding a way that yata would allow them to see the wound, asking if they only saw Yata’s back if that would be okay, he could have a blanket to cover up with. Yata was starting to shut down a bit, too much happening at once, Mikoto saw this and just plopped his favorite jacket on Yata’s head. “wear that” Yata just blinked, the others turned so he could take off his clothing. Just his top and chest binder, which he hid, and put the jacket on backward so that his front was covered and his back was bare. They saw some markings from the binder on his back but didn’t comment on it. That night Tatara looked stuff up and they found out what trans meant.
PRIDE:
Yata first went to pride with Saru, they both were really awkward about it, but after seeing some of the things being sold, they had fun! Saru started a tradition that any time they went, he would buy a shirt. One year it was “happy pride 20XX”, next was “Trans men are real men” he ended up with many, many shirts by the time he left Homra. He kept them, and even when he left homra he always went to pride. Yata and Saru became almost like an icon, just these young kids that grew up at pride. So they always went, just not together.
Homra went to pride a few times, they all got decked out in crazy colorful outfits. Yata had no clue that they were going to do that until he showed up at the bar!
After ROK Saru, Yata, and Anna had a nice day at pride. Anna wearing one of Saru’s old pride shirts, Yata shirtless because he finally got top surgery. it was a good time.
Other HC:
Saru saved up money to get Yata a chest binder and start T. Both being a surprise, though Saru didn’t act like it was. It was more “here” and throws the binder at him.
Misaki does get bad dysphoria, mostly involving his chest. He's not big, but he's not flat either, so it really fucks with him. Some days are okay, he can walk around his apartment topless no binder no problem. But there are days when he has to be flat, flat and everything bothers him. Saru always threw him a baggy sweater when that happens.
The name Misaki: he doesn't mind his name, though it is rather feminine. This is due to his mother, telling him “Born with or without a penis, you would have been called Misaki”.
Saru calling him Misaki isn't him trying to hurt Yata about gender, it's more the friendship aspect. Yata only lets close friends call him Misaki, Saru being the only one. So when he calls yata Misaki, it's him making a jab at their now gone friendship.
Sorry that this is a mess, I was dead tired when working on it.

Heart candies with Mikoto from K :D Maybe add Anna to give a cute family-ish moment?
Yes, I finally got one for the K-Project! Sorry it took so long!
~
| Suoh Mikoto
Lazy mornings were the best things to spend, especially when clinging to the Red King that provided the warmth you clung to, to fight against the chill that nights could bring. His arms always rested on your waist that would crush you against his side, at his side you would always feel protected.
Cracking an eye open feeling the warmth of the sun, a different feeling from Mikoto’s heat, you took into account what time it has become. “Mikoto it’s time to get up.“ You confessed with a slight whine to your voice. You didn’t want to get up yet, you desired to stay in bed and enjoy these small, rare, moments with your love before he had to attend to his kingly responsibilities.
“Hn.” he didn’t even attempt to open his eyes when he answered you, instead he chose to pull you in closer to the point you were half laying on his body. You ear resting above his strong and steady heartbeat. Mikoto didn’t want to leave yet - he never got to have peaceful moments with you as much as before and nothing was going to stop that.
The small creak of the door opening, alerted you to the possibility that someone had walked in, no doubt it was Izumo going to berate Mikoto on being lazy or Anna requesting to accompany Mikoto for the day, though as much as you wish you could hog the fiery man to yourself, you would gladly divide his time with the little girl. You had grown a soft spot for her, just as Mikoto did.
"Anna, it’s…too early.” Ah it was Anna after all. His voice was calm and to an outside member it would have sounded cruel to speak to a child in such a way but you knew that Mikoto would never speak to Anna in such a way. Anna’s steps sounded louder until they completely ceased at the side of the bed where you did not occupy.
You gave her a small grin, and tried your best to give her a small wave. She saw and gave you a small smile that crinkled the corners of her eyes - it seems you’ve grown on her quite considerablely as well. “Sorry Mikoto,…. I just wanted to see the red again.” Her quiet voice never wavered at her request.
No words were exchanged between the three of you as Mikoto moved the cover, a hint for Anna, to climb into bed next to the both of you. You outstretched your hand and helped her to onto the bed that seemed to hover above the ground a bit to highly. She snuggled into his other side and gently held your hand - affectively tugging at your heartstrings the way a puppeteer would his marionette - as she gently laid to bask into the shared warmth.
“Thank you Mikoto, thank you ____.” She murmured as she closed her eyes. Why couldn’t you all do this more often? Seems like you’ll spend the rest of the morning until evening here with you’re two favorite people.
“Happy Valentine’s Day _____.” His deep voice rumbled as he spoke those words quiet enough for you to hear, pressing a small kiss to the top of your head, with his hand brushing through your hair.

Based on this ask sent by @pope-of-the-snail-church split onto two posts bc it was getting rly long
Mikototsu
1. How do much do I ship it?
Never heard of it/ Notp / Dislike / used to ship / maybe / ship it / aww / OTP / IS IT CANON YET?
2. What non-sexual activities do they like to do together?
Mikoto likes chilling with Tatara while he’s doing whatever hobby he has, and they take naps together a lot
3. Who does chores around the house?
Tatara does most of them, but Mikoto does all the heavy lifting stuff like carrying heavy grocery bags and stuff
4. Who’s the better cook?
Tatara hands down
5. Who’s the funniest drunk?
Tatara. He’s never actually seen Mikoto drunk bc it takes a lot to get him drunk, whereas Tatara is a total lightweight, and he’s one of those super honest/giggly/affectionate drunks
6. Do they have kids?
I mean, Anna, obv, but I like the headcanon that they’d one day adopt a little sister for her if Tatara started getting baby fever real bad
7. Do they have any traditions?
The fist/hand tapping thing when Mikoto is having a hard day, and Tatara’s butterflies, but aside from that not really. Mikoto isn’t super sentimental but he’ll do that sort of thing for Tatara because he knows he likes it
8. What do they fight about?
They don’t fight often, but if they do it’ll be about recklessness, especially Mikoto being upset that Tatara put himself in danger because he can’t stand the idea of him getting hurt.
9. What would they do if they found their pairing tag on tumblr? (If they have one)
Mikoto would be uninterested, and think it was a little weird, Tatara would probably like the cute cuddly fanarts and possibly get some ideas from the more smutty stuff (also this is a weird question for me to answer bc I’m like 80-90% of the stuff in the mikototsu tag if sorted by “most recent” so??? idk how they’d react to my headcanons and fanfic and sad edits aha)
10. Who cried at the end of Marley and me?
Tatara.
11. Who always wins at Mario kart?
I feel like Tatara would have a hard time getting Mikoto to even play Mario Kart.
12. One thing I like about this ship?
They balance each other so perfectly. Tatara grounds Mikoto and keeps him sane and reminds him that he’s worth something and he’s not a bad person and he helps him to keep control of himself, and Mikoto gives Tatara a purpose in life and a family and something constant to hold onto.
13. One thing I don’t like about the ship?
they’re deAD???
14. The song I would say fits them?
I have a lot of songs in my Mikototsu playlist aha but I think my favourite/the most fitting one is King by Lauren Aquilina
15. Another headcanon about the pairing? (Free space)
Mikoto likes to listen to Tatara practising the songs he writes, and sometimes he’ll pretend to be asleep but he’ll just be listening to him singing and playing the guitar with the faintest of smiles on his face
