Also i genuinely enjoyed Wednesday?

Like yeah that first episode was a little rough script wise, but only here and there.

Enid had the most cringe lines poor kid. Thank God they got better and more fleshed out as her character got more screen time. I'm glad she wasn't just a cookie cutter over saturated Feminine character whose only purpose was to contrast Wednesday and oppose her views. Their relationship was one of the highlights of watching the show. That and Wednesdays friendship with Eugene.

By far the worst parts are the influx of romantic interest in Wednesday for absolutely NO REASON. I felt like I was reading someone's first romance novel at the forced, annoying, and confusing scenes involving her and Tyler as well as Xavier.

Like guys worst part of the show. New goth girl shows up and for some reason everyone is infatuated with her. Why? Genuinely?

If i had to argue with myself I'd say in the original movies no matter how little the Addams family went out into public they always seemed to draw the eye. People did seem to always target them or obsess over them in some way or manner.

So that's accurate to an extent. But that's where the accuracy stops. Interest, obsession, curiosity. Enid, Rowan, Bianca. But why the seemingly random romantics? It's out of nowhere and not at all welcomed by our main protagonist. She rejects it at every stage. Xavier is a dick most of the season, because she's rightly logically suspicious of him...

HE HAS A SHED FILLED WITH MONSTER DRAWINGS. OF COURSE THAT'S THE LOGICAL CONCLUSION. AND HE NEVER ONCE DENIES HE'S THE FUCKING MONSTER. HE JUST GETS MAD. THAT'S FUCKING SUSPICIOUSSSSS

And Tyler who actually starts out nice enough, but then becomes more and more entitled to Wednesdays time and space.

Like dude ever heard of no? It's honestly frightening how both of these guys pin her into a situation where she feels like she can't say no. That's the scariest part of this series. The few times Wednesday finds herself trapped is with two annoying young men put her in a position where she has to spend time with them romantically.

Besides that the characters held there own outside of the plot. And I cared about people outside of Wednesday. Eugenes ma boy

The music direction was really good. Everyone loves a cello

They showed me a really interesting perspective on the Addams family. And it was really interesting, because it felt very real in its own way. I think they did a good job interpretting such classic characters in modern lighting.

And most of all I loved the mystery aspects. It wasn't boring and see through like most shows geared towards teen demographics. They gave me plenty of red herrings to play with. And some strings left untied for next season, which I hope they actually play wuth instead of abandoning.

Honestly I'd watch it again and I'm excited for season 2

You smoothed down the fourth dress, you’d tried on and groaned loudly, ripping it off. Henry came into your shared bedroom, his lips curled into a soft smile as he came over and rubbed your shoulders. “Darling, you’ll look good no matter what you wear.” You huffed. “That’s easy for you to say.” He hugged you tightly from behind, gently swaying- “You always look good, and it’s your family. You could show up in ratty sweatpants and they’d be fine.” He kissed your bare shoulder. “What’s wrong, baby?” he asked. He knew you too well. You sighed and put your hands on top of his.

  “I’m scared that the age-thing is going to be a big deal to them.” “Why?” You were still swaying with him. “Because it’s your family. I want them to like me and…” You drew a deep breath. “I don’t want them to think that I’m here for your money or fame.” You finally said in a small voice. He stopped swaying you and slowly turned you to face him, his thumb finding your chin to lift your head gently. “Darling… Why does it matter so much to you? I promise you, I know that you’re not. Isn’t that all that matters?” He asked in a soothing voice. “Yes and no. I just want you to… I don’t know, it’s your family and I know how much they mean to you, and I don’t want to be the one to come between that.” “Darling, I chose you. The moment I met you. The very first glimpse I had of you, you were inherently imbedded in me. If they don’t find that agreeable or enough, then screw them.” You sighed. You knew there was no way you’d be able to convince him of how worried you were, because he was a romantic and an optimist; the world simply had to agree. “Wear the green dress. You look stunning in that.” He said before kissing you deeply. “Fine. Only because you asked so nicely.” You mumbled against his lips.

The drive was agony for you. It’s strange how much people, you’d never even met, mattered – their opinion, their feelings… it meant the world to you to be accepted and the fear that they wouldn’t, made you want to vomit. Henry squeezed your hand reassuringly and pulled into a driveway, stilling the engine. “It’s going to be alright, love.” “How are you not nervous about this?” You asked in a small, quivering voice. “I think you’re nervous enough for the both of us, darling.” He chuckled. “I don’t know. I am a little nervous, but not because of your age. I worry that my mother has another scheme planned. He said, kissing your knuckles. “We’ll be fine.” He mumbled. You nodded and tried to draw a deep breath. “If you want to stay in the car for a little bit, we can. Get your nerves under control.” You nodded once and held his hand, your heart pounding in your chest.

You knew that it shouldn’t matter much to you. You loved Henry for who he was, and it should be all that mattered. You lived together and you had been able to handle tabloids talking out of their ass about your relationship, but if his family didn’t approve, you feared that he’d break up; his family meant a lot to him, and you knew it. You also knew that his mother had made a habit out of ambushing him with “plans” – sometimes an ex would randomly show up, sometimes a family friend, but they all had the same in common; they were in her eyes, a perfect match for Henry. He had groaned about it several times, when he came home from a visit with them, and you felt your stomach swoop every time he did – it was very clear, that you’d have to work very hard to get them to accept you.

“Let’s do it.” You finally said, trying to swallow your heart back in place. He smiled gently and you got out of the car, clammy hands in his, to knock on the door.

“Henry!” His mom hugged him tightly, before her eyes fell on you. “Oh. Y/N, I presume?” Her cheery attitude had changed the minute she saw you. “Yes, Mrs. Cavill. Happy to meet you.” “Yes, well…” She smiled tightly. “Come on in, everybody’s here.” You followed Henry with a sinking feeling that this wasn’t going to go the way he had hoped for. Henry rubbed comforting circles on your back as you were introduced to his family and their partners – all of them gave you a strange look and barely muttered a hello. You saw Henry’s jaw clench.

“Henry, did I tell you that Martha is stopping by? Such a lovely girl, simply endearing.” You worried for Henry’s teeth – his jaw was clamped so tightly, his teeth must’ve been hurting under the pressure. “Mum…” “Oh, stop with the mum. You know, she’s single.” His mom started arranging tea on trays, lining it up to get ready for the afternoon-tea, you had been invited to. She didn’t set the full number of cups. “We’ve been over this, mother. You’re being obtuse.” She huffed and turned to face Henry fully, hands on her hips. “I am not being obtuse. She’s a very nice woman, and we would love her here.” The implication wasn’t lost on you, and you swallowed thickly, slipping out from under Henry’s protective arm. “I need to use the restroom.” You muttered, not waiting for an answer, but simply weaved your way through the gathering of family, that didn’t like you in any way, their eyes following you with sneers on their faces, and found a guest bathroom, slamming the door and sitting heavily on the toilet, trying to keep your tears at bay. You knew it. They wouldn’t accept you – you weren’t what they expected of their son, much less what they wanted in their family. Clearly, his mother was keener on Martha, who she had invited. Jesus Christ, you were going to lose it.

You heard voices outside and stilled your panicked breaths, keeping quiet. “I told you, he’d bring someone like her.” It sounded like one of his brothers. “Yes, yes, I know. I just… He’s only doing it to get a reaction from your mother and I. He’s acting like a teenager.” His dad. “You know Henry, he wants to go against whatever you think.” Silence fell. “She’s too young for him.” “You’re telling me.” “I knew it, I just knew he’d find someone like that. Young and money hungry. Fame-hungry, even.” A deep sigh. “He could at least pretend to be happy that we even allowed her inside the house. She wasn’t invited, and he knew it.” “Dad…” “No, I don’t want to hear it. I refuse to let a child wander around with Henry like he’s her priced possession just because he’s trying to prove some silly point.” “You would have made it easier if you hadn’t told him Martha was coming.” A huff. You cried silently; every single worry you had seemed to be warranted. “It’s not fair to her. Henry used to date her, and they made a brilliant match.” “Dad… Let him run it out. He’s blowing off steam, and it’ll end soon enough. You know him, a girl with nice tits shows up, he’s a goner.” They both laughed. “At least he has some taste. She’s a pretty, little thing. Let’s hope she doesn’t rip him for all he’s worth.” They both laughed and they laughter became fainter and fainter as they walked away – you were about to have a full panic attack.

The way they talked about you made you feel sick. You had hoped that at least one of them would be just a little forthcoming, but they all seemed to think the same; you were a gold-digger with a nice body. It was disgusting. You gathered yourself and wiped the tears from your face – there wasn’t a chance in hell that you’d let them see how they’d made you feel. You just wanted to leave.

You unlocked the door and with a straight back, weaved back through the family, finding Henry deep in argument with his mother. “I’m not here to find anyone, I already have someone, mum, I’m here because I wanted to introduce my girlfriend to my family!” He yelled. “You’ve got a lot of nerve, trying to play a game with me, when you knew she was coming with me.” His mother scoffed, pursing her lips. “Not with my blessing, she didn’t.” Henry threw his hands up and glared at his mother. “I don’t know why on earth you’re so hellbent on hating a woman, you’ve never met, that I love. It’s not a fling, it’s not a fickle thing, we live together, mum. I’m not letting her go, especially not because you want me to.” You stepped into the kitchen and let your hand wrap around his arm. “I’m going to leave. You stay.” He turned his face to say something, but his mother cut in. “That seems like a wonderful idea, dear.” You glared at her and any inkling of goodwill in you disappeared when you saw her sneering face. “You know, I’m not doing it for you. I’m leaving because I don’t want Henry to be upset or have to chose between me and his family.” You said in a low voice, trying to keep your cool. “I would have expected at least a modicum of respect, just an ounce, a sliver of respect and acceptance, not towards me, but to your son. You may very well be his mother, but you are abhorrent in your ways, and the fact that you act as if you’re better than me, makes me feel sorry for you.” Henry pulled you closer to his body. “I know what you’re all thinking, I even heard it loud and clear.” You turned to face his father with a poisonous smile on your lips. “While I am glad that you believe your son to have taste…” You spat out. “I am disgusted by the way you were talking about me, a stranger to you. If I didn’t know better, I wouldn’t believe a kind, gentle and caring man like Henry came from a family like this. I am absolutely disgusted by your way of thinking and your treatment of a person, who only wanted the very best for your son.” You drew a deep breath and narrowed your eyes. “I am not here for his money, his looks or his fame. I’m here for Henry, the kind and loving man I know. Not that it’s any of your doing, it would seem.” You turned to face his mother again, who looked like she had swallowed a lemon. “I thank you for not only completely ruining any chance we had to get along, but also for hurting your son. Me, I don’t care about, but him? God, he deserves better.” You bowed to her. “Thank you for not inviting me and thank you for making it abundantly clear that you dislike whatever Henry wants to do. I have no desire to be involved with this family if this is how it is.” You stood on your toes and kissed Henry’s cheek. “You can stay if you want. No pressure from me. I’ll haul a cab or an Uber. I love you.” You didn’t give him time to respond, nor did you react to his father’s voice calling out for you, but simply left the house, holding tears back until you were well down the road.

Fucking idiot, you were – thinking that the family, that had hounded Henry for as long as you knew him to find a “real” woman to suit him better, would ever accept you. It was stupid really, to get your hopes up, even just a sliver. Tears cascaded down your cheeks, and you wiped them angrily, pulling your phone out to find either a cab, an Uber or the nearest bridge to fling yourself off from. The familiar hum of an engine sounded behind you, and a door opened – Henry’s warm, thick arms enveloped you, holding you tightly to his warm chest, as you sobbed into his shirt, staining it with mascara. “Oh, sweetheart…” He rested his chin on top of your head. “You didn’t have to leave, Henry. It’s your family, just go back.” You mumbled into his shirt. If he heard you, he didn’t let on. He just kept hugging you.

“You know, you’re the first person to ever say anything to them.” He mumbled into your hair. “I’m sorry. I just couldn’t…” “Don’t be sorry, love.” He pulled you a little out from his body to look at you. “I should’ve known better. I thought that… When they saw you, got you know you, they’d be okay. Clearly, I was wrong.” “It’s not your fault.” “Neither is it yours.” He said and kissed your forehead. “Let’s go home.” “Are you sure? You can stay, I really don’t mind.” You told him in a small voice. “I’ve never been surer of anything in my life.” He said with determination. As you got in the car, he shot you a small, comforting smile.

The drive back was in silence, simply letting both of you process what happened at the house. “You know, I talked to them as well. Or, rather, yelled at them.” He mumbled, turning the car down the familiar road, where your shared house appeared slowly to your eyes. “Henry…” “No, they don’t get to do that. I’d much rather choose you and be happy than stay in my family’s house and be utterly unhappy.” He said with a small smile. The car stopped moving and you glanced to your front door, the soft sway of lavender and roses around the walkway calming you. “I never wanted you to choose, you know.” He kissed you deeply. “It’s never been a choice.” As you stepped inside the house and toed your shoes off – not before Kal had practically tackled you – Henry held you tightly, his eyes twinkling with mirth.

“Hmm, you know…” He kissed you. “There’s something very attractive about you when you become all assertive.” He kissed you again, deepening the kiss – there was something both desperate and dominant, that lingered just under the surface of the kiss. You felt warm. “Oh, yeah?” you mumbled against his lips, his fingers running up under the hem of your dress. “Definitely…” When your back hit the bed, his deep voice whispering the things he’d do to you, you weren’t worried anymore. The worry could be handled later.

Let’s talk about Hospital Playlist. (KDRAMA REVIEW)

note: does contain spoilers

When people ask me what is my favorite Korean drama of all time, with no doubt, IT’S HOSPITAL PLAYLIST. This drama has the comic relief, the emotional scenes, realistic characters-just to name a few. No toxic relationships and petty revenge fights. Nothing else will stop me for saying that this is the ultimate feel good drama.

SYNOPSIS: The drama shows insights into the daily lives of doctors and nurses working at Yulje Medical Hospital. It focuses on 5 doctors who have been friends since medical school, who also play together as a band.

This drama encompasses so many elements and characters so bear with me yo this might be real long 

Hospital Playlist is produced/written by the Shin-Lee PD and writer pairing, whose previous works were the renowned Reply trilogy and Prison Playbook (which are *chef’s kiss*) I really like that all their dramas really highlight humanism, and puts emphasis on creating a heartwarming and realistic series. There isn’t always a major conflict to be resolved, but instead it showcases how different people-in this case mostly those in the medical field-go on about their daily lives.  I also liked their reasoning to produce a medical drama which was that hospitals were where the most dramatic moments occurred, for example during births, deaths or sickness. And since we are still in the Covid-19 pandemic, it ties in greatly to be paying homage to all the medical personnel saving lives. Hence, props to those who were involved in this meaningful masterpiece <3

The drama is not the usual 16 episodes, but has 12 episodes for each season (SEASON 2 IS COMING SOON YAAS) Good thing is I felt that they were still able to weave a dynamic storyline in the first season even with lesser episodes. The writing was just top-notch with the witty humor bits. Additionally, the music is AMAZING. I love the concept of the main characters being a band and playing different songs every episode too.

Okay, now onto the characters. I thought that every character in this drama was well rounded. Starting of with the main five characters, also known as The 99ers, whose distinctive personalities and natural chemistry make all of them extremely likeable. All main characters are professors of different specialties, and I find the male OB-GYN (Seokhyeong) and female neurosurgeon (Songhwa) very refreshing. Also, I like Shin-Lee dramas always have characters that might be realistic yet hardly seen in other dramas or films. For example, Professor Ahn Jeongwon. Despite being a chaebol (inheritor/heir), he isn’t depicted as a spoilt brat or a cold character, instead as a warm Pediatric doctor who uses his wealth to secretly support patients in need. However it makes him stingy to his friends LOL

To be honest, I really thought I was gonna dislike Junwan due to his cold and tsundere nature. I pretty much believed that he was going to be the party pooper type of the bunch, but with the writer being a master of character development, he turned out to be really sincere and hilarious at times. Same for Ikjun, who apart from his enthusiastic and happy go lucky exterior, cares the most about the people around him. Although Seokhyeong seemed detached and introverted, he shows a emotional side to his friends as well as his mother. Songhwa is literally a girlboss though haha she’s smart, capable and gets along with everyone well. And she’s the most sane out of the bunch. 

With all the main characters, we have the relationships. Junwan is the first to date seriously with Iksun (the dog or Micky? jkjk) who is Ikjun’s sister. When it first happened I was like not again Jung Kyung Ho (bc he dated his best friend’s sis in prison playbook too LMAO) I think their relationship was realistic and open. It also showed a more sensitive side to Junwan who would do anything for her. I especially liked how he said he didn’t need access to her phone because he trusted her. Yet as all couples do, they have their fair share of ups and downs. Like conflicts on getting married and a long distance relationship as Iksun moves overseas for graduate studies. I don’t really know how to take the ambiguous ending for these two, as Junwan receives the returned box (that has the ring he sent) I really hope nothing bad happens to these two though.

I’m sure we all love Wintergarden couple though, tbh they’re kinda my OTP at the moment 🤣 It was pretty much a ‘will they won’t they’ relationship with a relatively slow build. I think Gyeoul turned out to be one of my favourite characters. Shin Hyun Been did a good job at portraying her as a straightforward but innocent Resident, who is pretty much openly crushing on Jeongwon. The scenes they had together were adorably awkward (and the scene where he gives her chocopies omg) And when Jeongwon battles his inner conflict to become a priest, the final decision where they kiss was beautifully shot, with the actors both showcasing their emotions extremely well. 

Then we have Chihong who pursues Songhwa, his professor. Midway through the drama, it is also shown that Ikjun and Songhwa might have had romantic feelings for each other. Songhwa ends up rejecting Chihong’s confession. In my opinion, Chihong was quite a interesting character but I didn’t really like him at the end. (I like the actor though) He did a real jerk move during drinking games, insisting on Ikjun to confess his feelings towards her even though he is already trying not to put Songhwa in an awkward spot. Although his character did end up making a cool exit and when I thought about his incredible story of soldier to doctor, I kinda regret disliking him that much. As for IkSong, In the final episode Ikjun confesses to her one last time, and we are left waiting for Songhwa’s reply. As much as I love this pairing, I don’t think that the ship will sail or maybe not as quickly as we think. I believe Songhwa would meticulously consider the sacrifices to their friendship or other aspects and might not be able to bring herself to it, but I hope it’s otherwise. 

Lastly not forgetting Seokhyeong and Minha, another Professor+resident pairing. This one’s a bit ambiguous though, mainly because there hasn’t been much romantic development. To me, the most impactful scene came from Minha who had been irritated by continuous night shifts and was on the verge of a breakdown. She ended up remarkably saving a patient, starting off surgery on her own for the first time. Oh man Minha was such a lovable character, I remember feeling so bad for her but extremely proud of her for her accomplishment. Although Seokhyeong seemed a bit aloof and distant (which was intentional bc he’s an introvert) I think the backstory and all the hardships he faced with his family really made me feel for him. I hate to break it to you, but I’m not so sure if the ship will sail because of the phone call from his ex-wife and Minha’s somewhat rejected confession. But who knows, they might pull off a twist 👀

Apart from all these characters, there are more characters HHAHAH However, I think this is the killing point of ShinLee dramas. Unlike typical dramas which usually focuses on a main character and 2-3 side characters, they like to cast a diverse range of actors (especially those from theatre/musicals and lesser known drama/movie actors) while actually give their characters personality or a reason to be there. I’ve seen many dramas where extras or side characters were kind of irrelevant thus making me feel that they weren’t needed to build the storyline, yet ShinLee dramas hit different y’all. Every role, no matter how small, holds significance to the drama. It really seemed like a collaborative work that shows off every actors skills (and not forgetting staffs) and teamwork.

Anyways because there are way too many characters and too many scenes for me to mention them all, I’ll just talk about some honourable mentions heheh

1. Sunbin and Seokmin confession scene (ahh so cute)

I kinda sensed that they liked each other at the start but I didn’t know Seokmin would ask her out on a date at the end. Even though it’s kinda awkward that they are dating and working with each other though (both are in the same department) but hey the confession was cute and awkward and just warm and fuzzy 🥰

2. MAMA ROSA IS THE QUEENN

I think we all (would) love Mama Rosa because she’s a real one ☝️ (probably the coolest mother ever) She’s feisty, hilarious and kind to others. Plus her friendship with Ju Jong Su was just adorable and super wholesome. The scenes where they were supporting one another through tough times and hanging out with each other when they felt lonely always put a smile on my face. Oh and how Mama Rosa treated Gyeoul was extremely sweet. (as well as Seokhyeong’s mother) Despite her tough exterior, she’s a likeable character for being a strong but caring woman.

3. Just Do Jae Hak

I seriously love this guy so muchhh omg he’s so funny

Do Jae Hak has a funny amd clumsy personality, though it’s clear he’s been through a lot and is strong willed person. From admitting his indecisiveness to counselling Jun Wan on his love issues, there’s literally nothing to hate about him.

4. Uju and his dadd

The father and son chemistry between these two is so good omg. The scenes with these two are so adorable and heartwarming (not to mention hilarious) It’s amazing to see how Ikjun cares so much for Uju despite his hectic workdays while going through infidelity issues with his ex-wife. Uju is matured for his age and shows his love and appreciation for his dad too, making their interaction a great portrayal of a healthy family relationship💞

5. the food stealing the show🥘

Who doesn’t love food and when a show has great food scenes? Some of the best scenes are definitely when the 99s gather to eat. It really showcases each character’s personality with the tiniest details as well as highlight warm delicious meals. Just don’t watch this when you’re hungry at 2am in the morning guys you’ll be drooling all over your screens HAHAHA

Of course there are way more aspects, like Hongdo and Yoonbok, Ikjun and Iksun’s pigeon jokes and raps, or Jeongwon drunk crying in the chicken shop with his brother (who was his coach in Reply 1994 when he played Chilbong LOL)

Most importantly, I think it is the themes and messages that you get from the drama that really create such a lasting impression. Not only does it hit you in the feels with the hardships of hospital patients, or the hardworking doctors+nurses who are working long shifts saving lives, it also tackles topics of friendships through the possibilities of platonic and friends-to-lovers relationships. However I think the biggest lesson for me came from Seokhyeong, who learns to live his life doing what he want, with the people he treasures. Although the drama might seem slow at times (mainly because there isn’t really a main plot line/conflict occurring), but this drama would still bring you on a journey where you would laugh, cry and finish the series, begging for season 2 ✌🏻

Sasara:

-having chill time at home with sasara is so much fun!! even if his jokes are terrible the atmosphere is super light and you feel so comfortable

-i feel like..he likes to try stand-up routines on you to see your reactions sometimes. he’s pretty confident in himself though, and sometimes he likes keeping things to himself if he knows you’re going to one of his shows

-while he’s not exactly manipulative per say, he’s quite good at saying things in a certain way to get you to do what he wants lol. like if he wants you to rest because you’ve been working hard all day and just don’t seem to know when to quit, but you’re being stubborn he’s good at convincing you to take a break or just go to bed for the night in a roundabout way, for example. he cares a lot about you!!

-ok domestic life with samatoki is kind of weird!!! because he’s a yakuza member and knows all these dodgy people you have all sorts coming over quite frequently, including juto and rio which is at least nice for a change from the usual

-he loves you so much and he’s so afraid of losing you (ow my heart!) so he’ll do anything to make you happy, whether that be doing all the chores on a day where you’re feeling lazy or refusing to leave your side if you show even the slightest hint of feeling bad or off in any way - since his mother killed herself after killing his father, he’s really really cautious when it comes to making sure the people he loves are okay and knowing they’re loved

-at the same time he’s so bad at chores lol he gets so angry so easily. you have to help him sometimes because he accidentally pulled the washing out of the dryer too hard when it got caught on something and ripped it and now he’s boiling with rage and you hear him grumbling to himself and come in and have to calm him down aND stuff like this happens at least twice a week lol

-you’re a little weary of the yakuza who keep randomly showing up but he insists that the ones who know where he lives are the ones you can trust, so you take his word for it and once you warm up to them it honestly isn’t that bad. it makes the house more lively, especially when it’s been a particularly bad day

-sometimes you can’t seem to cheer samatoki up when his thoughts get the better of him, so at times like that it’s just best to give him space. you guys know each other well and know when to respect each others boundaries (though you have to remind him of this sometimes)

-when you wake up to him he’s always holding you, even if you guys have had a fight; he never wants to lose you ok i went and made myself emo thanks me

Hey, so I'm gonna elaborate on this quote by Hashimoto. Turns out every game from bbs to the end of kh3 limit cut has to do with exactly what he says right there about Sora an Riku. Stay with me on this

Yeah, @xionshadow @minwuwhite @salted-coffee-beans @lovingthatgayshit and everyone else, I essayed again. Keep in mind there aren't quotes in this, it's more of a ramble of events and such

BBS: Riku and Sora are together being best friends and have a focus due to the keyblade, light, Terra and Aqua. Kairi is by her self and meets aqua. Yeah Aqua puts a spell on her necklace that ultimately leads her to Riku and Sora, but at this point in time it's unknown to them who the person to protect Kairi would be. Also, evidence is always thrown in here that Aqua doing that is so//*ai cause it leads Kairi to Sora, but really the hope is she leads to the keyblade weilder (yknow, on xehanort's end) who is technically Riku before kh1 events, and Aqua makes no romantic mention. It's just supposed to be someone with a strong enough light to protect her, not HER protector as in love or something or as in Sora or Riku being her prince.

Kh1: Sora and Riku have friendship problems and Riku has some jealousy. At the end they close the door, Riku's sad over realizing bad stuff he did, Sora has flashbacks to him and Riku spending time together and promises to go get him and come back with him so the 3 friends can spend time together. Kairi has only a few moments, including her joint saving Sora as of kh3 knowledge, her wanting to share a paopu too, and just her giving Sora the lucky charm and knowing that he'll return it. There's also Riku trying to find Kairi. Arguably, this game is the most we get of 3 friends, they're a trio, even on Sora's end. Sora goes through the worlds searching for both of his friends. But even then, Kairi isn't there 80% of the game. The friendship end is covered, but besides those moments where Sora has Kairi visions of her talking to him, he doesn't reference her. On the other hand, he meets Riku more than once, and we get to see Riku's fears evolve and his fear of replacement. We get Sora accepting him almost the whole time and Riku siding with darkness. We get moments like the moment where Sora is falling and he literally remembers Riku going "Giving up already? Sora, I thought you were stronger than that" and he believes after that and is able to fly with that pixie dust. He's the only one Sora has those flashbacks of the past with in the game like that. Sora and Riku get a scene with working together on the door while Sora and Kairi get separated and only Sora's work goes into everything, namely that he's gonna go get Riku while Kairi waits (not like she has a choice, but it stands). Even when it's about Sora and Kairi it's about just friendship or Riku. That kh1 scene where they get separated is an attributed so//*ai scene that people see as romantic, but it contains Sora's desire for them all to be friends and to find Riku. On the other hand with Riku, it's about Riku. Riku and Sora close the door? Flashbacks specifically about him and Riku till the last flashback, but even then it's Sora and Riku running together while Kairi's in the back running behind them. Sora and Riku's interactions and what's going on with their friendship are definitely focused on while Kairi is a doll most the game and doesn't get that kind of focus

CoM: About going to find Riku and Mickey. Evidence at the beginning that Sora really wishes to find Riku. He's distracted by Naminé, but whenever he finally gets to see "Riku" it's interraction that causes Sora to think afterwards about his relationship with Riku and what he could've done (more seen in the novel). If that huge analysis is correct, a lot leads to Riku, including parallels, but it's covered up by Kairi. Even when all Sora's memories of Kairi are replaced with Naminé, Sora's not in love with her until she uses the meteor shower scene, which would be a Sora and Riku memory. Before she uses it, Naminé is essentially at Kairi's current level of "I need to save her cause she's my friend". He only forgets Riku because of Naminé's memory meddling detracting from his purpose and making him forget everything he came to do and everyone except her. Kairi is merely mentioned by Naminé and Sora and everyone else. Even afer Sora knows about the Naminé and the repliku truth of him being not exactly Riku, he still does his actions for Naminé cause his heart still feels the impact of the fake memories, and even though Repliku's fake, Sora treats him similarly as Naminé, probably because of what's true in his heart. In the novels, Sora thinks about Kairi momentarily if she's brought up and when he looks at the lucky charm. Even in the lucky charm case, in the novel, it reminds him of Kairi cause she gave it to him, but also his promise to bring Riku back and of all his friends. It's only in Naminé's case with all the meddling that Sora looks at it and thinks of Naminé and his promise to protect her. Kairi isn't present and the game has no development with Sora and her or real reference to their relationship. On Riku's side, the novels have him mostly think about Sora out of the two, only really mentioning Kairi at the beginning when he decides he wants to say sorry to Sora and Kairi and when he meets Naminé. In the novel, for example, Riku goes to destiny islands of his memories and thinks about times with Sora when they rolled around on the sand. There's a focus on how Riku feels about the darkness and how that translates with his fears relating to Sora and his friends. He makes a promise with Naminé that she'll watch over Sora, and he walks the road to dawn for his redemption and to be able to face Sora and everyone.

Days: Similar to BBS, this one has main character focus on a different cast, but again Sora, Riku, and their relationship is still involved. Riku gets involved with Xion. In the novel, he states that he's willing to help her and not lie to her mostly because she's a part of Sora and is similar in personality, while Kairi factors in as appearance familiarity. In the novel, Riku has clear monologues about how he wanted to reign in his darkness before Sora woke up, and before going to fight Roxas how he's prepared to use his darkness to win at all costs, all for Sora. There's Xion and Roxas having memory visions. Xion awakes from one yelling "Sora". Roxas has a bunch of visions including Riku and Riku lines where he confuses Riku with Xion and wakes up yelling "Riku". There's the focus on how Riku gives up his body to win against Roxas and get Sora back. Then he has Mickey promise not to tell Sora what happened to him. Again, Kairi only is involved in mere mention and memories, and while Sora is too, he's more consistently mentioned. Riku also gets his focus on his motivations relating to Sora and shows up. Riku is there amd we are presented what's going on with him and Sora

Kh2: This one has a lot of obvious. One of Sora's main goals and focuses is to find Riku and bring him back. Along the journey, we also have Riku alienating himself from Sora to protect him while also stalking/leading him to make sure he's okay. There's the big reunion scene moment, and at the end Sora and Riku fight multiple battles together. In the RoD they have a heart to heart, and even though Sora's motivation was to bring Riku back so they and Kairi could be together again no matter what, he resolves to stay in the RoD with Riku for eternity instead without fight or protest, even in the novel deciding that if he was stuck here with anyone, he's glad it's Riku. Again, we see their relationship, how they work together, how they feel about each other. As for Kairi, as usual she is barely present. She is mostly left up to the few times she is mentioned and Sora rarely talks about her. Even with the begging scene and his feelings, we can get that it's a product of Naminé's meddling and not anything to do with him actually developing those feelings. Even Kairi herself only resolves to find Sora, and during the reunion scene, we learn their relationship is iffy due to time, change, and no interaction. After the reunion, Kairi's only Sora relationship moments are when they talk to Naminé and Roxas, which has nothing to do with how Sora and Kairi feel about each other, and when Sora returns the lucky charm. Except the lucky charm thing was just symbolic of Sora's promise to bring Riku back and them all be together again. It didn't have much to do with his relationship with Kairi other than she gave it to him and he remembers that when looking at it too. So again, we don't get much or really anything with Kairi and Sora's development, but we get plenty with Riku and Sora and how their motivations and interactions and everything relate to each other and their motivations and relationship

Recoded: Do I even need to say much? Kairi is again only in mention. There's a whole section where data Riku's about to be overtaken by bugs and Sora resolves to go alone, dive into him, and save him. He travels with Riku and they have a lot of moments and we again get to see (even before when Riku's in disguise and just out of it) about how they feel about their relationship and how they must act with the other in their mind. There's even that flashback of a Riku memory where Kairi is there, but Riku instead focuses on the moon and reaches for it, the moon believed to symbolize Sora.

Dream Drop Distance: Again, need I say anything? This game is about them relationship wise. They think about each other, they believe in each other and have talks with other characters about how they're always connected. There's a whole scene about how their hearts are in tune. In the novel, Riku has a monologue about how light and darkness they compliment each other. We get to see sorta how they feel about the other and trust each other. We again get Riku's motivation to protect Sora and his evolution to finding out that their rivalry is not darkness, but what pushed them to be stronger together and still does. There's so much of them and their relationship. On the other hand, Kairi shows up 4 times in the whole game, only 3 referring to Sora. She isn't even really mentioned. 1 of those 3 is a flashback to Kairi flying through him in kh1, another is just Kairi appearing behind Sora with all the rest of the guardians of light, and a 3rd is just Sora's dream with Riku and Kairi walking away from him. There is really nothing with Kairi and her relationship with anyone here

0.2: There's not much, but even with Riku and Kairi standing there, the only mention between them and Sora is basically how Sora's rubbed off on Riku and how Riku's more like Sora, then Riku talking about how he wants to be more like Sora. So again, more of their relationship focus

Kh3: During Sora's journey section, there is like no mention of Kairi, but he thinks about Riku and mentions Riku and talks to Riku on the gummiphone. We see them meet in the tower and Riku reassures him that he can do it. We see this little of their relationship and the little development. There's the RoD thing where Sora arguably uses the power of waking to get to Riku without having KKD and the gayblade. There's these looks they give where they understand each other without speaking. Even with the paopu scene, it starts out with Sora focusing on Riku. This is also the first point we see Sora trying to do a relationship fix with Kairi. Sora sheilding Kairi doesn't amount to or develop anything. But we get Riku's sacrifice, where by now he's realized that he loves Sora and he tells Sora he believes in him as he goes to sacrifice. It has a bigger focus than Sora's shield of Kairi and is more dramatic. Riku tries to prove to Sora that he is strong on his own. There's Riku comforting Sora and them being the only one left. There's the deliberation of animation in Riku reaching out to Sora and dropping it, only to get up, tell Sora he believes in him and sacrifice. In the Riku keyblade graveyard battle, we get moments of Sora swooping in to protect Riku and them going to fight together, where as in the rest Sora popped in to help or like in Mickey's case where he just gets captured. We get to see their teamwork once again. There's Riku's reaction of being angry after Kairi being "killed" only after Sora gets smad. Riku's heart is the first to reach Sora in kingdom hearts, and Riku supports his end decision and believes in him. All the Sora with Kairi stuff is mention, him fixing his relationship with her, or him going to bring him back and have all his friends safe. I didn't even recognize the evidence of Riku being the light and saving Riku first, even the section of saving Riku having more cutscenes and Sora talk/analysis than the rest of the scenes Sora saves his friends

Remind: All of the Sora and Kairi stuff again is just Sora trying to find her and have all his friends safe and fix his relationship with her. This one is more about Kairi and Sora's relationship, and even then there's a focus on Sora and Riku's relationship. There's still a bunch of the same things as base kh3, but we get more moments of Riku saying to trust or believe in Sora, there's Riku recognizing Sora there when Sora hits him with light when no one else does, even softly saying Sora's name aloud. There's their heartstations side by side and Sora being able to connect to him from inside kingdom hearts. There's another shot when Sora gets Kairi's last heart piece where Riku's heart is the brightest and again reaches Sora first. We still get their relationship and how they feel about each other despite this section not being directly about them, just like bbs, days, and 0.2.

Limit cut: We get big focus here. We see Riku sad over Sora. We learn that he is at least a key to saving him. Riku's dreaming about looking for Sora exactly where he is. We learn Riku is gonna be important. On Kairi's side, she's mentioned again and relegates herself to doll status for a whole year. She can see the final world, but neither she nor the scientists looking in her heart or anyone else looking found Sora or something related, while Riku's dreams hold the or a key and possibly a clue. Also, Yozora, the kh3 Riku lookalike (described by even Sora, Donald, and Goofy) looking for Sora who may just be Sora, but may also refer to him looking for the nameless star who may be his Sora (it's kinda hard to know for now).

In every game, consistently, Sora and Riku's relationship and development is a focus, even if it's not the center or the most important thing

it all started during one of the meetings in the Musain when they were sharing and discussing the most romantic strories of the love-from-the-first-sight and Courf said that his grandma met the love of her life in some quite village where her parents had a house with a garden from which her future husband used to steal cherries (grandma joked he married her bc he liked these cherries too much)Prouvaire said that it would be a dream to spend summer there-

And Curf made this dream come true - he asked his parents permission to spend the summer with his friends in the house and they agreed without any hesitation. The house wasn't used for several years but still was in a pretty good condition

By the 1st of July the exams were over and all finally could relax, spend some time at a lovely countryhouse in admiration to the narute and each other

so here are some vital points:

- the first thing they do is cleaning the house it takes them a whole day but thanks god there 13 of them

- the second thing on the list is sleeping - they all try to recover after the exams

- they ALL read a lot & give up using social media

- Enjolras is anxious for several days bc he literally has forgotten how to relax properly (hopefully he has friends)

- his main activities: reading, relaxing & flirting(?) with R

- R's main activities: sketching & flirting with Enjolras intensivly

- Combeferre spends some time alone reading, though he doesn't mind Courfeyrac's company - both of them enjoys this quite time together

- actually they always enjoy each others company

- Courfeyrac is happy than ever - he constantly comes up with new ways of entertainment (maybe we should have a movie night? A night of poetry? Or healthy morning with exercises and swimming?? What about going to explore the nearest lake?? Oh guys we should clean it!! )

- they actually do clean the lake

- they spend mornings in the garden and evenings at the attic

- Jehan finds old photo album and falls in love with people on the photos immediately, writing several poems about them

- Jahan regrets that they haven't captured some moments; Combeferre points out that actually Grantaire's sketches are better than any photos, R protests but everyone agrees

- R makes a LOT of sketches - he even asks Eponine to bring him paints and brushes bc he want to set down one particular moment >

> one day R and A take a walk into the woods but soon they find themselves at the field with bright yellow flowers. R stands breathlessly bc A in his red shirt, with long curles and these yellow flowers creates a view worth admiring so R decides to remember every detail of it and paint it later

- A and Eponine actually enjoy working in the garden, R enjoys watching it

- Eponine is calmer than ever

- she plays the guitar and teaches R

- Cossette and Marius spend 100% of the time in the garden as well

- Marius wakes up earlier to collect flowers for Cossette by the time she wakes up

- one day Marius gets lost while composing a bouquet - everyone are disappointed and worried but not surprised - half of the amis thinks they should let him be lost

- Cossette teaches everyone to make flower crowns

- G wants to capture this process so he has no time create a crown, Jehan makes him one

- everyone helps Joli to collect flowers and plants to a herbarium - he enjoys making sketches of plants

- Joli take care of everyone who gets hurt (usually Lesgle and Gavroche)

- Lesgle is a disaster - the bike ride isn't the besy way to spend time

- Gavroche is a disaster as well - he makes friends with local boys and becomes a leader of the little gang (Enjolras is proud, Eponine is even more proud)

- the day Bahorel sees the cows - the best day

- the next day he sees sheep so the previous point is questionable

- he meets a girl in the village - he is in love amd lost

- Feuilly develops his cooking skills - it is his new passion

- he really enjoys baking

- everyone helps him at the kitchen - even R - he does dishes

- they have several movie nights - the best one is dedicated to the musicals

- one day Lesgle finds an ancient gramophone - they have a proper disco night

- Enjolras and Eponine turn out to be HUGE Abba fans - it is a secret

- they will never forget this summer and it's for sure

So I never read warriot cats, so what's up with them? I gathered that it's about, like, tribes of feral cats, amd there's a tribe of god cats?? Am I even remotely close???????

oH BOY HERE I GO I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life. I don’t know if you’re asking for all the lore I have to offer but you’re getting it. But rather than explain all the bajillions of characters and arches and plots and subplots I’ll give you the structure:

•There are four clans of cats who live out in the wild. Thunderclan, Windclan, Shadowclan and Riverclan. Each clans has a leader, deputiy, medicine cat and a whole bunch of warriors (the attac and protec (ง'̀-‘́)ง cats) plus apprentices and elders. Also kittens and queens (pregnant cats)•The area in which they live is divided among the clans. There are battles and territory disputes between them (the amount of times a battle happened bc prey ran across the territory boundary and a cat trepases to get it was unbelievable you would think they would make a system of rules for those situations but nope let’s just argue about it every time) but they try to live in peace as much as possible. So they meet once a month to share news and chill. •Although the clans have diversity in culture and body types (yes there is lore within lore about there cats) they share some common beliefs. There is a warriors code that they all follow which is basically the rules and ethics that govern their society. (One of these rules is cats from different clans can’t date and if you don’t think that lead to some wild romantic subplots oh Boy you’d be surprised). They also have a common religion which is wild bc it’s true like you have spirit cats from starclan (this would be you’re “tribe of god cats”) doing shit and making omens and giving clan leaders nine lives but someone also atheists still exist? There’s a medicine cat who transcends all the silly clan disputes and does their own shit and talks to dead people twice a month. But they’re also banned from romantic relationships which yeah you guessed it leads to some shenanigans (There’s also literal cat hell but that’s only relevant in the last arch when they try to like come back to life)•Some cats don’t live in the clans. There are rogues and loners who are unaffiliated and the only difference is rouges will get up in the clans business and loners are chill. There’s kittypets which are house cats and the warrior code really frowns on that whole business. (Really. One of the main characters was born a kittypet and he gets shit for that for the rest of his fcking life) The tribe of feral cats u mentioned is probably bloodclan. A bunch of rouges formed an imitation of a clan and tried to take over the territory of all four of the clans leading to a nice bonding moment when they forget their quarrels and kicked ass.

And that’s a brief summary of how warrior cats works. Any questions ask away I’m a wealth of info about this dumb freakin cats

Connor flinched a little when he heard the volume of his door closing, but simply shrugged it off as he threw his coat and bag onto thefloor, promptly flopping onto his bed and groaning into the pillows. He felt pretty bad about just leaving you at the library, but decided that it was best to collect his thoughts.

Connor sat up on his bed, his gaze fell on his laptop and he debated on talking to Jared and Evan and get their intake on the whole ordeal.

The three of them all shared a couple classes, and they had mutual ideas of who the other was, besides that one English project sort of forced them to all get along with one another and form their small friend group.

They weren’t close friends. But still, the two of them had a funny way of talking to each other that amused Connor, so they all would talk online more than in person.

“God dammit,” Connor mumbled, fetching his computer from his desk and sitting up on his bed.

He booted up the computer and pulled up chat and stared at yesterday’s conversation.It took him a solid five minutes before actually figuring out what the hell he was gonna write

Connor: Listen, I need opinions on something.

Only seconds after hitting enter Connor felt the overwhelming desire to cringe, this was going to be the most awkward conversation of his life.

Evan: Sure, what happend?

Jared: oh my god, are we all about to have a moment??

Connor rolled his eyes, Jared was probably his least favorite of the two, but he certainly had the better sense of humor.

Connor: hilarious, seriously though, i need help on this one.

So, he told them what all happened at the library down to the part where he ran away. Connor saw the annotations that both of them were typing and rubbed his forehead, all of this emotion bullshit was giving him a major headache.

Evan: That’s a lot of information, but I’m sure we can help you with it.

Connor reread the message a few times, his brain was taking bit longer to actually process what he was reading on the screen.

Connor: Well fine, why should I give a damn who she goes out with, it’s not like i care or anything. It’s whatever.

Connor made a small ‘hmph’ noise as he leanded against the headboard of his bed, he could feel the disappointment and minor anger getting to him the more he thought about it.

And at first, he really, honestly, and truthfully thought he could end it there and leave it at that.

But before he knew what was happening, his hands were harshly typing away on his keyboard.

Connor: i mean what the fuck does she see in him anyways? the dude looks like a discount Harry fucking Potter they’ve literally never spoken in person i hang out with her all the time and this is the first I’ve heard of any stupid fucking tony

Evan: I think you should calm down a little.

Connor barely even looked at the responses, because all of this pent up anger had been released and he was certifiably pissed.

Connor: the two of them were chatting up a. storm at the library and the dick even made her laugh like ten times but whatever i honestly couldnt care less so what if the ass doesn’t deserve her or care about her like i do. i’m perfectly Fine.

Evan: holy shit

Jared: um…okay.

Evan: I mean really, wow.

Connor looked back at what he had written, and immediately wanted to toss his computer out of his window before throwing it into the deepest depths of the ocean.

Something didn’t add up though.

Jared wasn’t particularly close to you, and he didn’t know Tony.

Connor: Hold on, how do you known they’re together?

Jared: oh yeah, i don’t.

Jared: I was just pulling on your dick because you were being a bitch about your big ole crush on (Y/n), only wanted you to own up to it. But then you just went oFF.

Connor blinked, admitting his feelings to himself was something he was never able or wanted to do. Maybe it was because you were his first real friend, and the idea of putting that at risk for some petty schoolgirl crush was something he didn’t want to do.

But looking back on it now, this was clearly something a lot deeper than that.

Doesn’t mean he wants to admit it.

Connor: Right, well uh, I’m gonna sleep on it.

He closed his laptop amd set it aside, situation himself so he could look up at his ceiling and think.

Connor Murphy liked you.

A lot.

That part was obvious.

He indulged himself a little, allowing his subconscious imagine what it would be like if the two of you got together. Honestly, it wouldn’t be much different. You and him were already so close, it practically felt like a romantic relationship.

Connor just couldn’t wrap his arms around you, or hold your hand whenever he wanted to, or kiss you.

But he’s getting ahead of himself.

Another hour passed and stilll not a thing.

But he was cool about it, it’s not like he was waiting on you to answer him.

What a fucking lie.

The boy was checking phone nearly every five minutes regardless of his ringer being on and at the highest volume.

Connor carried it with him everywhere checking to see if you had answered. His phone was practically glued to his hands, it went with him while he brushed his teeth, talking to the boys, or pacing around the room as he stared at the messenger

He was a mess.

I mean what the hell kind of teenager doesn’t have their phone on them 24/7? He even knew that you had least 15 ebooks downloaded onto your phone.

Another hour and nothing, dejected and a little hurt, Connor left his phone on the kitchen table to go outside and kick at some of the pile of leaves that had gathered in the backyard to get out his frustration.

Ten minutes and scattered leaves all over the place, Cynthia showed up at the back door. “Connor! Your photo went off!” She called, holding the phone out to him.

Connor nearly ran his mom over when he ran past her, snatching the phone out of her hands.

“Thanks, love you, I’ll be in m room!” Connor said, far too quickly for her to understand.

Once he was alone, Connor looked down at the screen and got the biggest smile on his when we saw you had finally replied.

(Y/n): Sorry, I was reading. But I can meet you in 10??

Connor managed to reply, put on his jacket, and tell his mom where he was going in the matter of minutes before he was out the door.

You were already there whenever Connor came sprinting down the walking path, you smiled at his unkempt hair and the way the curls went absolutely everywhere.

Jared had told you Connor only started letting grow out over the summer, but you had a hard time imagining him without his long hair.

You had grown fond of it.

“There you are,” You said, giving him a smile when he came up to you.

Connor gave you a breathless laugh, and you could see how rosy his cheeks had gotten from both the exercise and the cold.

Speaking of which, you noticed that his jacket was far too thin for the kind of weather that was happening right now. Winter was on the horizon so the temperatures kept getting colder by the day.

“Hey, come here,” You said, beckoning him with your hand until he was standing right in front of you. “That jacket isn’t gonna do you any good, take this.”

Connor saw that you were beginning to take off your thick wool scarf and his hands went out to stop you before he stopped himself and awkwardly shoved him into his pockets.

“N-No, no, don’t do that, keep it.”

“Stop trying to act all tough and just take the scarf,” You ordered him sternly. “I don’t need you whining to me when you get a cold.”

He expected you to hand the scarf to him, so picture his surprised look when your hands gently went around his neck to put it on for him.

He could feel the coldness of your skin when your fingers softly brushed against the base of his neck and it made him involuntarily shiver at the sensation. Your perfume still lingered in the material of the scarf and he was suddenly completely wrapped in the feeling of you. It overloaded his senses amd he felt heat crawl up on his cheeks.

"Thank you,” Connor said, coughing to cover up how flustered he was.

You smiled before backing away from him. “So, what did you summon me here for?”

Oh, yeah.

Connor sighed, momentarily forgetting what he was doing. “I wanted to tell you something important.”

“Go on then, I’m all yours.”

He looked at you for a moment, his brain suddenly coming to a blank about what he had rehearsed saying to you. The words were meant in a nonchalant way, but it made his head go in a million different directions.

So much for the plan.

Connor’s hands fumbled together as he trie to figure out how to word his feelings without sounding like a total idiot. “I uh, I totally understand if you don’t feel the same..,” He trailed off, eyes looking up at you for a minute before a minuscule smile formed on his face. “But it would be really nice if you did.”

He settled his gaze on you again and instantly regretted everything once he saw the soft expression on your face. Did he sound stupid and that was some kind of look of pity.

“Of course I feel the same, stupid.” You said, wondering how he missed all the signs you had been giving him.

“Seriously?” Connor asked, feeling a smile grow whenever he saw you nod. “Well that’s good.”

There was a short moment of silence before he spoke up again. “You know, your hands are really cold, give ‘em here,” Connor said, taking your both hands in his and tucking them under the scarf. “Better?“

“Better.” You replied, looking up at him to see him smile.

Connor examined your features up close, all the small freckles down the bridge of your nose and little imperfections one could only see if they were really looking at you.

You noticed him subconsciously leaning in towards you, your noses barely brushing against each other. You retracted your hands from him, on to place them around his neck as you leaned up to kiss him.

His hands reacted by wrapping his hands around you, resting them on your shoulder blades before pulling you closer.

Borh of your lips were chapped, and there was little movement from either of you, but it was warm and sweet and it just felt right.

Connor had every intention on keeping you there for awhile but you pulled back and looked at him with wide eyes, though he still had you tucked into his arms.

Connor took the opportunity to place a tender kiss on your cheek before letting you make your call.

Oh, yeah.

I mean, if you’ve read it on some EW website, remember those were the ones who thought Charlie was going to be Dean’s bae and Mary and Cas would end up together, so… But also - anon, I’m not saying you did it maliciously or anything, but just in case someone out there doesn’t know this - starting a controversial question with ‘Everyone’ gives it credibility and sort of isolates the person put on the spot. It’s a rhetorical device, and if it happens to you, you should immediately turn it around and ask, ‘Everyone who? Do you have a source for that? Statistics? Research of any kind?’ because normally no, there isn’t - people starting their questions this way are either a) political-minded debate-club alumni who just want to mess with you and fuck them, or b) poor guys who really believe that their opinions are so common sense and Good™, they must be shared by everyone, right? and since these opinions tend to be bigoted nonsense, again, challenge them.

I mean - narratively, it wouldn’t make any sense for Cas to have a romantic partner right now (his character arc at the moment is deciding where he belongs, after all), much less a human woman he’s met twice and is pregnant with Lucifer’s child. Second, Kelly isn’t in the right place for a relationship either. Only two weeks ago or something she was very much in love with President Whatshisface, her literal soulmate, and as far as we know, she only left to protect him and to spare him the pain of knowing she’d been raped and is now carrying some sort of demon baby, so why would she suddenly be interested in Cas? And third, it’s likely this speculation was caused by the fact that, oh my, Cas and Kelly are sitting down and looking at each other (and, okay, Cas is touching her belly, but he’s probably counting how many poisonous fangs that baby has, not trying to make her squirm and shiver in pleasure). 

You know what this is making me thinking of? Brienne and Tormund. As I wrote here, those two don’t have anything in common, never talked to each other, and, as even the director admits, Brienne’s not interested or impressed in any way, but fans were still losing their shit about it all, and by ‘losing their shit’, I mean really going foaming-at-the-mouth insane -

Dell Alienware Concept UFO

Dell showed off an interesting concept when it comes to PC gaming on the go with the Intel-powered Alienware Concept UFO. The portable Windows PC, which mirrors the form factor of the Nintendo Switch, features an 8-inch display, kickstand, detachable controllers, and support for external devices like displays or a keyboard and mouse. Sure, it’s still a concept device, and Dell is mum on specifics, but a more portable PC gaming experience that doesn’t require a laptop might be just what many gamers need to enjoy their favorite titles on the go.

Canon EOS-1D X Mark III

Rumors of the DSLR’s demise have been greatly exaggerated based on Canon’s update to its beloved — and expensive — EOS-1D X lineup. The Canon EOS-1D X Mark III boasts improvements like the faster Digic X processor, burst shooting at 16 frames per second, and face and head-tracking thanks to improved computer vision tech. It also shoots 5.5K RAW video and 4K video at 60 frames per second.

Segway S-Pod

Professor Xavier cosplayers, rejoice! Segway’s S-Pod is, essentially, a two-wheeled self-balancing stroller that can hit speeds of up to 24 miles per hour. Unlike other Segway products, you control the S-Pod with a joystick instead of your body, making for a more relaxing jaunt around town. The S-Pod is outfitted with smart safety features, too, like automatic braking on turns and exterior lights that double as turn signals.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold

Foldable displays are the new hotness, and Lenovo’s showing off its take on the trend with the ThinkPad X1 Fold. The Windows 10 device is more laptop than tablet, despite the tablet-like design. That foldable 13.3-inch display supports stylus input and Windows Ink for more intuitive pen-based operation. Want to get some actual typing done? Just pop the magnetic keyboard on the bottom half of the X1 Fold and type away, or just leave it there, close it up like a normal laptop, and get on with your day.

Samsung Odyssey G9 Monitor

Curved monitors are great for PC gaming, and Samsung’s 49-inch Odyssey G9 monitor is a particularly impressive display to see in action. Aside from the huge screen, the QLED monitor has a 1440p resolution, a 1 millisecond response time, and supports refresh rates up to 240Hz. Dimension Robotics Dr. CaRo

Dimension Robotics’ Dr. CaRo is designed to restore mobility to stroke victims without prohibitively expensive physical therapy sessions. The device, a motorized handle-equipped robotic arm attached to a 23-inch display, is meant to aid in rebuilding neural connections to a patient’s limbs with entertaining training exercises. For patients looking to strengthen atrophied muscles, Dr. CaRo can switch between assistive and resistive modes to accommodate patients looking to regain strength and dexterity in their limbs.

Fisker Ocean

Electric vehicle maker Fisker is using its luxury SUV, the Ocean, to show the competition how to make eco-friendly vehicles. Fisker claims the Ocean is the world’s “most sustainable vehicle,” supposedly due to its all-electric drivetrain, vegan leather interior, and use of recycled materials like nylon and polyester. The Ocean also features a slick solar panel roof for passive battery charging, as well as a cool “California Mode” that rolls down every window for an open-air feeling without compromising safety.
