LOUIS!!!!!! I am posting this from beyond the dead because Louisâ trailer KILLED MY MIND! But THEN, it brought my body back to life because I HAVE to be around on Saturday to see this show go down. NEW LOUIS SONGS!!!! I AM NOT READY!!! First Eleanor kicked off promo for the livestream day by modeling Louis' purple Balenciaga windbreaker for us with a caption about her âBFâ. I mean, itâs a look! No dogs today tho :(. Oddly though after posting herself in the outfit and saying that she was going to go out in the get up, she didnât! Changed right back into her own clothes after all. Just like how Louis liking her post a few weeks ago was the first sign of action, this too was an indication NEW THINGS COMING! And boy, did they come! After Louis this posted his fifteen (15) second long clip, which included at least one full second each of an as of yet untitled song, KMM, Too Young, Walls, and a badass unidentified riff by Michael Blackwell (POP OFF, dude)! Louis was NOT done there though; fans were wondering what the unfamiliar songs in the trailer were. In what seemed to be a hint, Louis tweeted âcopy of a copy of a copyâ, which, when googled, turned up with two musical results. The only one that matters is the song âCopy of A..â by Nine Inch Nails (âI am little pieces. Pieces that were picked up on the way, invented with a purpose, a purpose that's become quite clear todayâ). According to the band, this song is about breaking out of an image that no longer fits you: âHow dare you have the audacity to not perform in the role you have been placed inâ. Nine Inch Nails has also been really vocal about the importance of artistic freedom and the struggle to maintain it in the face of label interference, which Iâm sure Louis can relate to. But! It turned out the untitled song that fans were wondering about isnât ANY of these, it is, instead a âNew song. Not a cover!â according to Louis himself! Letâs be clear: this does not mean that he WASN'T tweeting that lyric about doing a Nine Inch Nails cover, just that the snip in the teaser ISNâT âA Copy of AâŚâ. Okay guys, I didnât say this when the show came up, but now I will: I am IN LOVE with 12/12!! Last year, we got Fine Line on the 12th, and THIS year, we get BRAND! NEW! LOUIS! SONGS!!!!!!! This is one trend that is welcome to keep continuing!
And, for the TRUE piece de resistance: LOUISâ HAIR! It is long long long, and slightly curly at the ends, and âHIS HAIRâ (in all caps) was trending under âBeautyâ immediately after the trailer was released. As it SHOULD! Itâs BEAUTIFUL! And, in the middle of all of this, we got pictures of Louis from outside his rehearsal studio two weeks ago - OP said he said not to tell anyone about his hair, so they posted them the second after the trailer went up like âwell if HE'S showing everyone..' They also scribbled out his hand. People asked does he have a new tattoo?? A ring?? Nope! It seems that he was probably holding a beer, which was edited out because yes certainly fans should jump in to take on the role of 1D management circa 2011 and preserve Louis' squeaky clean teen idol image! If Louis didn't want to be photographed with something he wouldn't come out to do fanservice holding it, give me a break, you really think he's sharing actual secrets with you? Grow up! Anyways, while on twitter Louis followed Isabella Signs, who he met through the charity work that she does for her younger brother. She has a YouTube channel by the same name and does A LOT of really cool SSE (Sign [language] Supported English) covers of all the boys plus 1D, check her out!
The Naughty List music video is OUT! It is a #quarantinevideo made with the green screen that Liam talked the other day about having had set up in his living room for days and how much he disliked that. It features Liam in a Snow Globe and Dixie and her friends dancing in a photobooth in colorful outfits (Liam in a red sequin vest with nothing underneath anyone?), pastel and glittery backgrounds, and lots of Christmas cheer! More than Liam had today, thatâs for sure! Dixie loves Christmas, but Liam said that if it wasnât for his son âpfft, Christmas can pass me byâ in the joint live Liam/Dixie did to introduce the video. Steve the Manager (who made Liamâs naughty list for âmaking him work todayâ) spent most of the time feeding Liam questions for Dixie and trying to keep him on track. Liam and Dixie shared stories of Christmas presents (Dixieâs best Christmas was when she got a four wheeler), who made their Naughty List this year (Dixie: No one, Liam: âNIALLLLâ - no he did not say why), and if theyâd ever been kissed under the mistletoe (Dixie was when she was 12, Liam has not yet because heâs âa loonneeelyyyy boyyyyâ, but then went on to say, âMayaaaa you gotta kiss me under the mistletoe!!â so I guess thatâs that). Â Steve the Manager kept cutting Liam off before he could even TRY to do his Harry voice, so we didnât get any of that, but we did get a nice solo Liam alarm to wake up to this morning, where he did a meditative bit and reminded people that itâs almost Friday!! And he's added some signed Naughty List single CDs to his store and merch! Really cute hoodies-- I'm not personally sure I want my chest to say Naughty List all over it but Liam can work it and it is a cute design. He also went on a radio show (not Romanâs) to promote Naughty List and revealed that he had NOT done any Christmas shopping yet, which IMMEDIATELY put him on their naughty list. Not to worry Liam, I think youâre still pretty nice!
And my favorite larrie is BACK: we got a sneak peek of Harryâs Jingle Ball set and, surprise, surprise, itâs the pre-recorded set with the Free Nationals! The description is, âHarry Styles and the Free National light up an LA backyard celebration with a hit-stacked setâ. So, uh, I guess heâs not going to be playing in front of a blank wall - itâll be a garden with a camper van, little blue flags, and fairy lights strung up. His shirt matches the small flags in being That Color Blue, and my one and only prediction for the set is that heâll be covering Blue Christmas. I gotta say that I have NEVER seen anyone as dedicated to that - or ANY color - as Harry is. He still hasnât popped up anywhere, but this is EXCITING! A new Fine Line set!!
Zayn made Martyreâs Instagram story again, and though you STILL canât see his face, itâs his neck this time instead of his hands! I think that heâs meant to be modeling the necklace heâs got on, but the picture is too blurry for me to make it out. Alas. Anyways, Iâd love to see some pictures of his FACE if Martyre has those? Please? Meanwhile, Niall promoted  a beloved Doncaster native musician... no it was Yungblud! On Instagram, of course: he did tell us he wasn't going to be on twitter for a while!Â
#louis tomlinson#liam payne#harry styles#zayn malik#niall horan#damn EVERYONE did something today huh#well i did some research about the copy of a .. thing so here's the second thing i found#The SECOND thing I turned up was an EP by a small indie rock band named Foxhole Stacks (which is RIGHT up Louisâ alley)#named âCopy of a Copy of a Copy of a Copyâ - there were two songs on the EP the first being âTurntable Exilesâ#lyrics:Â (âWhere the skinny boys sing their songs the turntable exiles...and they wander and wander and wander around leave them headed for a#different soundâ)#and the second is âThe Law of Averagesâ (Iâm tired sick and tired of letting it go/The law of every average I knowâ)#in case you wanted to know#theyre pop punk and DC based and GREAT and if anyone is lurking and wants to hear something AWESOME!#anyways on a seperate note im sending lots of love to liam today#anyways!#song of the day!#Turntable Exiles by Foxhole Stacks

Lately Iâve been thinking, itâs possible that ziam and Larry donât want to come out due to difficulties theyâd face at work and from the public, which is totally valid. And so the beards are on their payroll and maybe itâs enough for them to just be together in private. Because Iâd imagine it might even be quite dangerous for them to come out, I mean look at Zayn and every time he mentions Palestine and the death threats he gets. So heâd rather just pay Gigi /Perrie etc to beard for him so he could have his real relationship in peace.
Hey nonnie,
Now anything with these boys seems possible, but I don't think your theory is all that probable to be honest.
From what we've seen, Zayn is constantly looking miserable around her:
Compare that to how he is around Taryn, his PA (I think):
Literally night and day.
If Zayn had someone on his payroll that was there to make people believe he was straight, why would he do it with someone he obviously hates being around?
And he constant has lyrics where he's shading both her and her family. Most recently in his song yellow metal - carthatic where he talks about "Mean Queens control[ing] the scenes". I don't think that's by accident.
Now, Zayn is a very private guy, so I wouldn't blame him for wanting to keep his relationship with Liam a secret, he has every right to. But he has also hinted at being not straight for a while now, and has always had an extremely hard time hiding his fond for Liam in interviews, which is why I feel like he tries to avoid that subject like the plague đ¤Ł
And especially as of late, people have been extremely accepting of celebs coming out. The issue it seems, has always been with these management companies that feel the need to control any and all narrative surrounding their client. Colton Haynes has spoken in-depth about this:
And he isn't the only one, a quick Google search can tell you that.
It's interesting that the supposed most accepting industry is actually doing the most suppression (at least in countries like the UK and US). That's why I never take anything the entertainment industry says seriously, because at the end of the day, they're all a bunch of hypocrites who refuse to take their own advice.
Most people don't care who you're attracted to, and I don't see that changing in the instance of Zayn and Liam coming out. If anything, I feel as if the response would be overwhelmingly supportive.
But that's not to downplay how incredibly terrifying coming out is to some people, especially celebrities who have people that document their every move. I wouldn't be surprised that some of them are willingly in the closet, and that's their choice and I fully respect and understand it.
However, based off the evidence I've been presented with, I don't think Zayn is willingly publicly dating G and allowing people to think that that kid is his.
But thanks for sharing your theory with me nonnie! It's always good to consider other possibilities!

I really shouldnât be wasting my time addressing this mess, but I just⌠canât help it. Iâm gonna take the shortest possible break from studying to drag this. If I fail itâs your fault for sending this link and youâll be the one explaining it to my mom!
âI think the boys lost a huge opportunity.â
None of the following text addresses how she starts it. What huge opportunity did they lose? If this is the first sentence you write on a long ass text, I at least expect an explanation s for why you said it. What opportunity?
âThey were signed and worked as employees, initially, without creative or financial power.â
Yeah, no brainer, since they were 16/18 with zero musical experience other than performing at weddings and their high school musicals and were all from middle class families. Imagine if these guys had been given the creative reins of Up All Night
âIt seems that Sony/ Syco had no confidence in their longterm potential as artists (whether individually or as a group), so the corporate tactic was to wring as much out of them as possible within the time frame of their contract.â
Thatâs a whole lot of assumption, whatâs it based on? Why does it âseemâ that way? What part of Sycoâs strategy hinted at them not seeing long term potential? With boybands, labels tend to be more focused on the financial gain they can squeeze off them in the immediate, sure, but that doesnât mean that they see no long term potential. In fact, I would argue that these corporate people would have to be terrible at their jobs for that to be the case. Name one boyband with even mild success, ever, thatâs not still giving bucks, whether as a group or as individuals. One. Just one. New Kids On The Block? Westlife? Backtreet Boys? Justin Timberlake? Take That? The Jonas Brothers? Seriously⌠one. This is a ridiculous statement that isnât backed up by reality. Of course most boybands have a shell life and their initial success fizzles out. Most of them wonât even bring a fraction of the cash 10 years in, but that doesnât mean there isnât still money to be made. Itâs not that Syco didnât have confidence in their long term potential as artists, itâs that they knew that boybands are usually like fireworks, and they were right..
Current numbers for all their albums according to Wikipedia (because I cannot be bothered looking for music specific sources, send them if you want)
Up All Night 4,754,434 X
Take Me Home 4,966,424 X (UP!)
Midnight Memories 4,607,667 X (DOWN!)
Four 2,698,500 X (DOWN!)
Made In The AM 1,935,300 X (DOWN!)
They went from almost 5 million albums certified to under 2 million. Touring went from theaters with Up All Night, to arenas with Take Me Home, to stadiums with Where We Are, but by that point, it started to decline as well:
Where We Are total attendance 3,439,560 people in 69 shows, about 50K average X
On The Road Again total attendance 2,337,938people in 80 shows, less than 30K average X
Boyband audiences grow out of them and move on to different artists. A label squeezing all the money they can get out of the first few years is just the smart thing to do, but that doesnât mean that thereâs no money to be made afterwards or that there are no long term plans. This statement is simply idiotic, not surprising given who it comes from
âIn the meantime, both Irving Azoff and Sony recognized Harryâs potential as the traditional boyband breakout star, as well as his relative youth, vulnerability and ambition. They knew he had the star quality, if motivated in the right way.â
Iâm convinced she doesnât reread what she types because here she contradicts her statement from before
It seems that Sony/ Syco had no confidence in their longterm potential as artists (whether individually or as a group)
and
In the meantime, both Irving Azoff and Sony recognized Harryâs potential as the traditional boyband breakout star
So which one is it, Sea? Did Sony not see individual potential or did they see it? You canât use âin the meantimeâ for a sentence that contradicts the one that comes right before
Syco is owned by both Simon Cowell and Sony Music. If Sony saw potential, then so did Syco, because Syco is part of Sony
Also this had me cackling âas well as his relative youthâ .. what was ârelativeâ about Harryâs youth when he met Jeff Azoff? He was nineteen. Thatâs not ârelative youthâ thatâs just youth. Otherwise you should be mummified, Sea. Iâm not pointing this out for any other reason than the fact that she clearly tries to embellish her sentences with pompous adjectives without care for what they actually mean
âOn the other hand, Louis had a differing view of what the band could accomplish within the framework of what theyâd signed. He wanted the boys to learn about the creative aspects of music-making (songwriting, recording, performing, producing) as well as the business aspect. They all knew they were being used as money machinesâ but Louis wanted to look behind the machine.â
Donât get me wrong, I adore Louis, but⌠what evidence is there of this? That he wanted to write more? Thatâs not what he said over and over. Louis explained that he didnât feel he had a place in the band, that he felt like he wasnât paying his due, so to speak, so he wanted to make himself important by writing. This whole âLouis was the brains of 1Dâ is nothing more than Larrie Lore. Thereâs absolutely nothing to back this up at all. This backstory to his songwriting isnât backed up by Louis himself
And he only talked about songwriting, he never talked about producing, or recording, or performing. I just really wanna know why the real Louis isnât enough and why they have to fabricate this entire new persona for him. He opens himself up and tells the world what his insecurities are and you just erase them and replace HIS STORY with your new version. For no reason other than because it suits your conspiracy better. Itâs sick
âIâm sure they all independently wanted this, but as we learned from Savanâs interview, Louis was the instigator, and he was willing to make himself the bad guy in order to get what the band wanted, to stir up bad feelings.â
No, you completely stripped Savan Kotechaâs interview from context. Savan doesnât say that theyâll never have any creative input. He specifically says âin the beginningâ LINK to Savanâs podcast
âYeah, I think, like, it was a lot in the very beginning. And Iâll take a lot of blame for some of the stuff in the very beginning. They were a manufactured boyband. Thatâs what it was. They werenât all hustling musicians trying to make it. They were on a TV show and, and we purposefully, and I was open about that. Like âyouâre gonna hate hate the music that you do in the beginning.â Like, I was open about that. Youâre 17, 18 year old boys, youâre not supposed to like what a boyband does.â
Iâm not going to transcribe the whole podcast here, you should listen to it, itâs not that long. But basically, he explains that, because he met them during the X Factor days, it was harder for him to go from seeing them as those reality show kids to people that actually knew a thing or two about music. He says that he directed them to Julian Bunetta (who took over as the overall creative director of the albums) and that it was easier for Julian to work with them rather than being authoritative because Julian didnât have that bias of meeting them so young and inexperienced
He admits he was wrong for seeing them that way because he thinks theyâre all incredibly talented now and doing amazing things. What Sea here fails to point out is that for this same album that Savan talks about, he wrote with Harry, and he had this to say about it, in the same podcast thatâs used as proof of the opposite
âSo, with Harry, it was really interesting. Harry always, especially since album two, you really saw heâs a really fucking good writer. Like, we did a song together, like for the third album, the only thing we did for the third album, and the song âHappilyâ which Iâm really proud of, and I think he is, as well. He was, it wasnât like that thing, where like, writing down for the artist, he was like fucking great, like bringing ideas. So that was cool to see.â
So how does this go with Louis being the instigator? Savan doesnât say that at all. He doesnât imply that. What he plainly says is that he didnât see Louis in that role
But I think, especially, with like one of the particular members, it was hard to see that person, and like take that person the way he wanted to be seen, and he became, like, the loudest voice of the group. And at that point, I just told the label, it became kind of like unhappy for me to feel like, âwhyâs he doing that?â
Thereâs a lot of projection and a lot of reading between the lines of this podcast. And this is used as fodder for a lot of the Lore in the conspiracy of Louis being sabotaged (itâs the basis of most Rads theories). Louis didnât sacrifice himself like a lamb so the others could get creative input. Read the quote from Louis himself that I pasted before. Louis wanted to make himself important because he wasnât getting many solos and he was insecure as to what his place in the band was. Itâs not only stripping Louis away from his own words, but itâs also stripping all the other four from their artistic wants and needs. You think Niall, the Niall that scrapped a whole album and started from scratch didnât want creative input? You think Zayn didnât want it? You think Harry didnât want it? Liam who wrote almost as many songs as Louis? Of course they wanted it, they just went about it differently. Louis has said several times that he has trouble holding his tongue, I think heâd be the first one to admit he probably couldâve handled things differently here. He has that personality, and as a fan, you donât get to take that away and replace it with something that you find more palatable. You donât get to make him Jesus, crucifying himself so the others can be free of sin. You donât get to silence him when he admits to his own faults and takes ownership of his flaws. And you donât get to change history
Savanâs mistake was not loosening the reins and for having a prejudice about Louis. And he admits to it. No part of this podcast and no quote from Louis indicates that Louis sacrificed himself for the creative input of the band. these are the facts
Savan had a hard time giving up control, true, but he was also willing to work with Harry
Savan had a (wrong) prejudice against Louis
Louis wanted more writing freedom because he (wrongly) believed that he wasnât earning his keep in the band
All your other conclusions are nothing more than bullshitting from reading wrongly between the lines
And Iâm gonna say something controversial.. they were still green in Midnight Memories. Look at this
Thatâs the aggregated score of the main music critics all over the world, it isnât just one biased review. As fans, we love the album because we love the band and thatâs that, but it was the worst received by critics. Five points difference with Up All Night, that is a lot by Metacritic standards. A steep decline of nine points from Take Me Home. I think Midnight Memories couldâve been better if they had more of a companionship when writing because most of its flaws come from poor lyrics, at least in my subjective opinion
âLouis thought the contract would end at some point, and then they could use what they had learnedâ the industry contacts they had made, their new knowledgeâ to either continue with 1D on their own terms, or to do whatever they wanted individually.â
Bullshit. What do you even say to contradict something thatâs a complete fabrication? Thereâs not a shred of proof of any of this. Louis has never talked about any of this. No one else has ever talked about any of this. These words put together have no meaning other than them sounding cool in Seaâs head
âChallenging the industryâs endgame isnât something that industry tolerates lightly.â
And see, this is where we completely lose track of reality. Savan was talking about them wanting to write more and divide the voices in tracks and that sort of stuff. Louis was talking about wanting more songwriting credits. Neither of them (nor anyone else) talked about contracts and beyond 1D and terms and challenging the industryâs endgame
This is why I went into so much detail and was so nitpicky on what Savan said and what Louis said, because Larries/rads take âLouis wanted to write more and Savan didnât have faith in him so Louis cuss him outâ to âLouis pushed the whole band and made them open their eyes to the malice of the industry and itâs because of that he had to be PUNISHEDâ
âSony knows One Direction was lightning in a bottle. Theyâve tried numerous times to duplicate the boyband formula, but have failed. No one else is One Direction.â
Bullshit. I mean, One Direction was unique, and many (all labels, not just Sony) have tried to replicate the boyband success since them and failed (Iâd argue that BTS is not that far off, selling out Wembley and all that), but Sony has seen success in a lot of other artists from a lot of other genres since 1D, theyâre not bleeding without it
âInstead, Sonyâs best bet (if they were going to lose 1D) was to shift the lightning to Harry Styles, with the help of Irving Azoffâ an industry titan. It seems foolproof.â
Another conspiracy. Irving and Sony came together to push Harry. Bullshit. Harry nearly signed with UMG just before signing with Columbia. He had a major offer from Apple that pushed Columbiaâs offer to be higher. What would Sony gain from partnering with Irving and pushing Harry as a solo mega star when they werenât guaranteed to have him sign with them? More so, Columbiaâs CEO was another guy when Harry met Jeff. Sonyâs CEO was a different guy. There were shifts all over their boards. A label doesnât take one of their biggest current acts (One Direction in 2013) and risk their current profit, making moves they wouldnât otherwise make, in order to potentially get profit four years down the line
What Sea is saying here is that Harry was pushed as the front man of 1D in 2013 in order to have him as the breakout for Sony later. Thatâs not a strategy anyone with a brain would agree on. One Direction was selling FIVE MILLION ALBUMS A YEAR. Why would they mess around with that just to get a breakout star that they had no idea theyâd even sign in the future?
Was Harry the frontman? Yes. Was there a push for it from within? Sure. But thatâs not how this works. You know who was the frontman when 1D was formed? Liam
Look at the amount of solo shots he has, even a shirtless one..
These snapshots were taken on the same day, October 6th 2010
Liam had 5 thousand more followers than Harry, thatâs 30% more. The reason is that Liam had already auditioned for the X Factor in 2009, and heâd made it through until bootcamp, where he was eliminated. When he came back in 2010, he was already sort of known, especially for the X Factor audience. The X Factor pushed him as the face of the band because of that
THAT is how it works. They pushed a frontman because it was convenient for the band AS IT WAS HAPPENING, not in an unknown potential future. For whatever reason, Harry took more with the public, and because the people running the show (and the labels) arenât stupid, they went with it. Harry became the center of more photoshoots, and he started sitting next to the host in talk shows, and stuff like that. In that sense he was âpushedâ but not because of some weird âheâll be the breakout starâ conspiracy
This is what you sound like
Every single band has that one more popular member with fans. Every label pushes that member more to the forefront when they notice. This has the effect of making that member even more popular, and on the circle goes. It has nothing to do with âfuture breakout starâ conspiracies
âAnd it still may be. The way that Louisâ personal life has been slowly degraded over time, with negative media coverage, their portrayal of him as a cussing, drinking, fighting, partying, dissolute has-been who pines for his glory days, Â is an image that even the fandom now believes. Heâs required to constantly relive this image and bring up in interviews, the son he helped conceive in a moment of hard partying (whereas heâs been with Eleanor for seven years with 100% effective birth control).â
The fact that you believe youâre a fan of Louisâ is frankly, the worst insult you could hurl at him. We donât see Louis like that, the world doesnât see Louis like that. YOU may see him like that, but thatâs where it ends. Niall cusses and drinks more than Louis. Liam parties more than Louis. I donât think anyone particularly sees any of the 1D guys as beefers. No one sees him as a âhas beenâ heâs twenty seven for fuckâs sake. Heâs not pining for his glory days, he just liked being in One Direction
Who âin the fandomâ believes that? And donât bring up random haters because random haters believe Zayn is a meth addict and Liam is an idiot who canât read. Random haters donât represent âthe fandomâ, if you can even call 1D stans that anymore
What part of what you said is Louis ârequired to constantly reliveâ in interviews? What regurgitated version of his interviews did you consume? I could start guessing that you mean what he said during promo for Miss You about how he was partying to mask the pain of missing Eleanor, but thatâs giving you too much credit, trying to decode the absolute bullshit that spouts off your fingers. Obviously thatâs not what Louis said in Miss You promo, but Iâm not even gonna try and guess, you decided already that Louis is being sabotaged, so youâre looking for it, and youâre gonna see it in the most innocuous of his interviews
âSony couldnât have done a better job if they tried. Harry, the star of their choosing, has fans rushing to defend him whenever the disparity in image and opportunity is even hinted at. Louies usually go quietâ because even pointing out this fact earns one the moniker of being a âRadical.ââ
All members have former 1D members have âfans rushing to defendâ their faves when someone says one word seemingly negative about them. Itâs called stan culture. You personally just receive more from Harries because heâs the only one you pick on, you absolute moron
And the words immediately after are proof of that âthe disparity in image and opportunity is even hinted atâ what disparity? Thereâs âdisparityâ among all of them, they all had different sets of opportunities because they have different goals and strategies. Harryâs goal wasnât radio and chart single success, it was album and touring, so he and his team went for that (but you judged his success throuh radio and chart single success anyway, skewing his results, of course). Niall and Liam went for the former. Louis had an incredibly difficult time because his mother passed away right as he was starting his solo career, and he has the added difficulty of being the eldest of many siblings and having a child in a different country. Reducing his personal life issues as nothing but noise and pretending that Louisâ actual problems were, instead, artificially created by TPTB is incredibly demeaning for the strength of character Louis has shown and it pains me that he has âfansâ like you
Youâre called Radical because you believe in the conspiracy that Louisâ life has been manipulated and his opportunities cut short so Harry could have his chance. Aside from the fact that itâs an insulting thing to say because of all the reasons I described, how would it even make sense? Louis is Harryâs competition? If Louis is put down then Harry thrives? How? How does that work? Are they the only two people in the music industry? Is this Apple Music vs Spotify? If Irving and Sony quash Louis, Harry rises because heâs the only competitor left? Do you not think that if the music industry truly worked that way (putting one artist down to lift another up), which, letâs be very clear here it doesnât and it never has, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles were both super successful at the same time⌠do you think that Louis would be Harryâs only rival to defeat? Or even just the other members of 1D? Where does that put fucking Ed Sheeran or Justin Bieber or Shawn Mendes or Charlie Puth or The Chainsmokers or Halsey or Ariana Grande or..
Harry, Louis, Niall, theyâre white men. Theyâre not black women going into a business ruled by males. Theyâre not Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, having to dispute the entire audience for a black female rapper. White men make it in the industry all the time. The media will pit them against each other and so will fans because itâs fascinating to watch a rivalry, but more than one, two, three, ten, white males can make it at the same time. Go back to the Rolling Stones and Beatles example
âIf thereâs any doubt that Louis has been singled out, just look at who Simon Cowell keeps by his side, despite the fact that Louis was specifically mentioned by Savan as the pain in corporateâs ass.â
Back to this conspiracy. Savan didnât âspecifically mention Louis as âa pain in corpirateâs assâ. Savan complained TO corporate that Louis was being a pain in HIS ass. His own specific ass. And âcorporateâ told Savan âkay then leave?â, then they hired someone else to do Savanâs job, and allowed Louis to write as much as his heart desired. How is this making any points for you? Itâs actually the opposite! Yeah, Louis is Simonâs protege, which is a great position to haveâŚ??? And Louis has spoken plenty about how much he likes Simon??
âWho got to do Americaâs Got Talent? Who started an imprint under Syco?â
This is such a self drag. âWho got opportunities!!!â Uh, Louis..
âWho got Rusty Eslamifar and Simon Jones as a package?â
Louis hired them. His family is still close to Russell, and he still chooses Simon Jones, so.. another self drag
âWho had to do TXF for six months? Who sent out an email to fans about his girlfriend?â
Who has lots of siblings? Who has blue eyes? Whoâs from Doncaster? Who doesnât like avocado? Who - oh, sorry, I thought we were just naming random facts about Louis, yanno given the fact that none of what youâre describing is a problem for anyone other than fucking Larries
âIncidentally, the interaction between Simon and Louis on TXF was weird as hell, as were the interactions between Louis, Rob Stringer, and Simon at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. You could cut the strain with a knife, like two cats with the mouse theyâre torturing while making it look like play.â
Are you like, okay? I mean, thatâs a rhetorical question cuz I know youâre not but I mean⌠wow
âI think the band lost its chance when Sony executed its plan.â
Here you go back to the first sentence that you never explain, and you still⌠donât explain it. What chance did they lose? They made five records that sold millions worldwide and they did two stadium tours. Zayn didnât wanna continue, neither did Harry, so they stopped. Once again, Iâm not even gonna try and guess what youâre implying here⌠Zayn leaving was a stunt? Harry wanting a break was Sonyâs plan? God, who cares about anything you say? Youâre a certified nutjob. Youâre making conspiracies out of EVERYTHING. Why am I wasting my time?
âI donât know what choice Harry had, but we are made to think that heâs hsppy with all of it. I think the way that his image rolled out shows us what they planned to do and what they promised himâ with comparisons to The Beatles, Bowie, Prince, Freddie Mercury, Elvisâ not lightweights lol.â
Youâre doing that thing conspiracy theorists do where you act like what the media says about an artist or celebrity is all concocted by the âteamâ. Harry was not compared to any of those people by anyone in his team. That was the media
Like, this is my problem with everything Sea says, she just says it as if itâs a forgone conclusion but she doesnât back any of it up with anything. She doesnât elaborate her conspiracy theories, she just jumps to the conclusion as if itâs obvious, treats everyone that realizes how ridiculous what sheâs saying is like an idiot (and patronizes anyone that dares question her thought process), but never actually explains why sheâs reaching such conclusions
âThe band lost its chance when Sony executed its planâ What chance? What plan? How did they execute it? You didnât talk about any of that or define any of those terms in any part of the long ass text I just posted, and I would know because Iâm reading it bit by bit. You vaguely said that Louis fought for more creative control (debunked), that Harry was pushed as the frontman so in the future he could be the breakout star (debunked), that Louis got punished (debunked), but you never connected any of those dots, so Iâm left here having to debunk a theory that you didnât present. I can debunk the individual dots that you presented, but since you donât actually connect them Iâm left scratching my head as to what you really mean, and I find myself in this position of saying âdo you mean thatâŚâ
With this part in particular, Iâm left asking myself, do you think Harry decided to leave 1D because he wanted to be compared to Bowie by NME magazine? Like, how⌠what?
âHis sound is relatively unique in the market right now, and they are spending lots of money building Harryâs career, connecting him to Fleetwood Mac and so on.â
Because Niallâs sound is so mainstream, right? Because thereâs no money being put into his or Liamâs careers, right? Whatâs âand so onâ? What are they spending all this money youâre claiming on Harryâs career on? Are they bribing Fleetwood Mac? Did they buy him a spot inducting Stevie in the Hall Of Fame? Or maybe they bribed the Recording Academy to have Harry perform with them at Musicares last year (too bad they couldnât use that money for an actual Grammy, I guess). You donât ellaborate further, so whatâs this âand so onâ? Of course thereâs money invested in Harryâs career.. Thatâs generally how it works. Labels put money upfront so the artists can get them more money back in return. How is Harry such an anomaly? What does Fleetwood Mac have to do with it? Gah, I hate you so much
âI think itâs complicated. Azoff and Stringer are people who hold all the power. Iâm not sure if Harry turned them down, the boys would be any better off.â
If Harrry turned what down? Having a solo career? Because thatâs what he has with âAzoff and Stringerâ. So no, of course âthe boysâ wouldnât be âbetter offâ if he had turned a solo career down. His career has nothing to do with Liam or Niall Louisâ. Once again, Iâm here having to guess if I have to debunk something you didnât (have the guts to) say
I have a feeling that in this long ass text, what you leave between the lines is that Harry was told âweâre gonna make you the breakout starâ and he said âsureâ. And something something 1D is over something something Louis is punished something something. But thatâs impossible to debunk because you donât present it. You donât even say it in as many words, let alone explain how you think Sony pushed Harry to be the breakout star or how it affected 1D. You kind of just vaguely hint at a few things
Just so weâre clear, I could absolutely destroy every single one of those arguments if you presented them, itâs just that I canât do that if you donât even spell them out. And you donât spell them out because this way you get to live in a limbo between Larrie and Rad, when youâre, in reality, just fully rad. As long as you donât spell out your bullshit arguments, you can pass off as being a âcritical Larrieâ (which isnât actually any better than being a rad in the real world non-conspiracists live in, but itâs slightly more popular in conspiracy land, and gets you less hate from your peers). If you spelled out these bullshit theories, youâd get a lot of hate from the cult youâre still a part of, so you just vaguely hint at them. Youâre able to garner support from the Rad group (just look at the people reblogging this specific post), while not being subject of attacks from the Larrie group. Iâd call you smart if I didnât have evidence to your incredible lack of intelligence all spelled out in this very text
âTPTB are going to do what they want anywayâ and find their next Harry Styles, or Shawn Mendes. Itâs difficult. Trying to understand it, even if it threatens prevailing head canons and a happy ending, is validâ not radical. Being curious about the truth is the least one could do to speak up for Louisâ
This conclusion has nothing to do with any part of this text. It is very, very radical to believe that Louis is being sabotaged in order for Harry to have a bigger career. Youâre not curious about the truth, youâre absolutely twisting it to fit your conspiracies. And I can GUARANTEE YOU that Louis wants you far, far away from him and his music
