Pentiment's Complete Bibliography, with links to some hard-to-find items:
I've seen some people post screenshots of the game's bibliography, but I hadn't found a plain text version (which would be much easier to work from), so I put together a complete typed version - citation style irregularities included lol. I checked through the full list and found that only four of the forty sources can't be found easily through a search engine. One has no English translation and I'm not even close to fluent enough in German to be able to actually translate an academic article, so I can't help there. For the other three (a museum exhibit book, a master's thesis, and portions of a primary source that has not been entirely translated into English), I tracked down links to them, which are included with their entries on the list.
If you want to read one of the journal articles but can't access it due to paywalls, try out 12ft.io or the unpaywall browser extension (works on Firefox and most chromium browsers). If there's something you have interest in reading but can't track down, let me know, and I can try to help! I'm pretty good at finding things lmao
Okay, happy reading, love you bye

I typed up the Pentiment bibliography for my own use and thought I’d share it here too. In case anyone else is fixated enough on this game to embark on some light extra-curricular reading
I haven’t searched for every one of these books but a fair few can be found via one of the following: JSTOR / archive.org / pdfdrive.com / libgen + libgen.rocks; or respective websites for the journal articles.

requesting rules and information
hello all and welcome to my requesting rules and guidelines post! i wanted to put this information out there in a place that was easy to access and all up-to-date to make for a fun and safe space for everyone to enjoy!
as mentioned in my about me post, i am a uni student and so there may be periods of inactivity or when my requests are closed for longer than usual, but please do not be alarmed i will be returning and your posts will be answered. so with that in mind it would be very much apprciated if you could not spam my ask box with the same request over and over again, or chasing up a request; if it has been requested it will be on my list and i will get to it so long as it does not ask something of me which i have stated i will not be writing. HOWEVER if i am active and your request did not ask me to write anything i stated in my boundaries post that i would not write and it has been a while since you sent it in there is a chance that it may have gotten lost so it is okay if you send me a message or request it again!
if requests are closed i would appreciate it if you would refrain from sending any requests in as i will not see them and they may get lost if too many are sent in when i am away. this would also make it difficult for me to get on top of posting again when i return from my breaks! when requests are open or closed will be noted in my biography!!
below are the characters and fandoms i write for, however, if there is someone not listed below you can request for them as chances are i will have heard of them but may not be the biggest fan of the show/movie/book but i will do my best and otherwise i will let you know! if a character below is crossed out then it just means i am taking a break from writing for thme for now, just to keep things interesting and so i am not always writing for the same person so, check back often as this may change!

I liked the part with the champagne egg.
Very surprising that I've never heard of this before, because it was damn good. Lots of great shots and interesting set pieces of urban locations suddenly post-humanity. Later scenes introduced some interesting trippy effects that worked well for setting an unsettling tone. There was a minor revelation about two thirds of the way in that made for really solid characterisation.
Bruno Lawrence gave a fun performance as a man losing his mind from solitude: playing saxophone in the rain, declaring himself president of earth, and running through the streets screaming at god wearing nothing but a dress and a pump shotgun.
Alison Routledge was likewise great, delivering a believable character with actual depth to her. Pete Smith's character was kind of annoying, and being introduced so late into the movie it was hard to care about him. The love triangle subplot, or whatever it was, seemed very rushed and wasn't particularly compelling.
I thought it was funny that the opening credits listed multiple actors and revealed that he wasn't alone before the movie had started. The ending was a little too vague, which is normally something I'm a fan of, but for whatever reason I didn't find it satisfying here.
A great last-man-on-earth movie that seems like it should be better known.

You are looking for a cozy murder mystery that takes place in a retirement village and where the main protagonists are over 70? Then this book is a must read for you :
“The Thursday Murder Club” by Richard Osman
In a peaceful retirement village, four unlikely friends meet up once a week to investigate unsolved murders.
But when a brutal killing takes place on their very doorstep, the Thursday Murder Club find themselves in the middle of their first live case.
Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron might be pushing eighty but they still have a few tricks up their sleeves.
Can our unorthodox but brilliant gang catch the killer before it's too late?
The story itself is not really nail-biting but there are some (surprising) twists & turns and it´s fun to read because of all the loveable characters, who easily grow to your heart and who make you want to join the Murder Club yourself.
I stumbled over this book by accident because a lot of people said, that, if there´s ever going to be a movie (finger crossed) they think Penelope Wilton should play Joyce. Obviously I had to check this out. And yes, Penny has to play Joyce! I can totally picture her writing diary and baking cakes. Also,Joyce partly narrates the story, which means Penny would have to narrate it too and Joyce is simply a sweetheart. In other words: Penny is perfect for this role! 😊
As for the other characters, I could imagine Patricia Routledge playing Elizabeth (maybe because of Hetty Wainthropp Investigates?) but since Elizabeth is a bit of a wild child I could also see Alison Steadman playing her.
There´s a also a lovely female detective, could see Angela Griffin playing her and Joyce´s daughter could be played by Diane Morgan.
As for the male characters, I couldn´t care less who plays them. Don´t care for real men,so why should I care for fictional ones ;-) (Also,no face or name really popped up when I read the book)
Maybe you´ve already read it, who would you cast?
