THE PONY BARN IS FINISHED!

Kiki's POV

It's a funny thing that thing about having a job you like. Barely a week ago the stable I worked at (Stutteri Tiny Living) closed because of money problems, and some ponies were moved here to Broken Onyx Estate, some to multiple other stables.

When BOE had bought the Connemaras I offered to work there, so I could take care of them, since they all - and not only Petsy - was dear to me. Luckily they accepted, and I now work here. It took some time, but now the stable for the ponies has been updated and is ready for the ponies to live in it.

Moving here with 1 American Miniature, 6 Shetland Ponies and 3 Connemaras was quite stressful, since we had to move across the country to get here. But now we are here - me, the ponies and also Alexander and Damon who was hired as well - and today I decided I should train the Connemaras a little.

And it was nice to ride my lovely Petsy. She was doing a very good job at training today, even though it was rain a lot. Luckily she doesn't care much about rain, and just does what I ask - mostly anyways.

After doing some basic training with Petsy to prepare her for an upcoming Dressage show, I was cuddling with her in the barn a little, before letting her outside.

Now it was Camille's turn.

Camille definitely knows her basics and then some! It's always very nice to train her, since she knows exactly what to do, even though she often gets a little nervous, and honestly doesn't like the bit a whole lot. I suspect though that she doesn't exactly like any bit, so there's that. She chews on it a lot.

I had a nice talk with Alexander, who had gone out into the rain to ask me about... well, I don't exactly know what, as he works mostly as a Dressage Instructor here, and doesn't get to ride much. Oh and he helps Damon with driving the Shetland Ponies as well. They are together after all, so it's nice to see them doing things together, even if I know Alexander misses riding quite a lot.

But who knows, maybe he will buy himself one of his own at some point. I am quite sure, even though I don't know Hera that well, that Hera will let him board a horse here, if he so wanted to.

NEW RIDER? AND MORE?

Hera's POV

We have aquired a few new riders as of lately, along with some new horses too (mainly ponies actually) most from a stable that closed down (Stutteri Tiny Living), so some of you may know the riders from their blog, which is why I won't make a big number out of introducing them.

First two are Alexander Dalgaard (never call him Alex please) and Damon Doukas. Damon has jumped a little from stable to stable lately, but has landed here now with his two horses Harald and Johanna who are both Brabants. Being mostly interested in Driving, he followed the Shetland Ponies who has just moved here, as he knows them well and wants to keep driving them.

And then we have Alexander who is his boyfriend. He is a man of few words, doesn't have a horse of his own, and is mainly focused on Dressage (he will be good with some of the KWPNs I am sure), but is learning driving from Damon at the moment, so he can help with the Shetland Ponies along with doing Dressage with the horses who are ready for that. He is an excellent instructor, and is our main at the moment.

Then we have Kiki Liu! She is a part of our manager team, managing the Connemaras who has been bought by me, and will arrive shortly (I hope to take a big picture of all the pony mares in the pasture together later this week).

Being a very open person, she works as much as she can early in the day, so she can be home with her young daughter around 3 or 4 PM. Sometimes she is here longer though, if we are going to a show or something. Or if she can bring her daughter, safely, with her to the stables of course!

She is the owner of one of the Connemaras, but takes care of all of them like they were her own.

And then we have the one new rider who isn't from Stutteri Tiny Living. This is Alana. She is 17 years old, friendly and soft spoken. Being like that she is very good with young or nervous horses, and we will see how she does, if she can stay for a longer while. Case is that Alana is only here on an internship, as she is only 17, but we hope to hire her for a longer time, when she reached 18 next year.

She went to boarding school with my oldest daughter Calypso, oh and she is also her girlfriend! They have been long distance for a while, and when a position opened up, Calypso basically begged me to hire her.
