They don't have any idea of subtlety do they? And for a man that hate the musical he still copies its style but now he also copies the 2000 one mini series. I'll do a lot of book comparisons

Valjeans ia still an angry man...he doesn't show it much but he is suppose to be in his calmer days

Is Marius sound so much as his 2012 movie version or is just me. Seriously his like the movie one as brunet

So we spent to much time in montreil timeline and we must rush anything else

No time from Marius to learn about his father heroic acts...they just tell him 2-3

No time to get obsest over Napoleon the democracy...he just does

No time for Marius to learn to live in poverty for years and learn by himself English And German to became a translator to survive while he also finish law school and gains self confidence

Also no time to have a proper valjean cosette father daughter relationship...one of the sweetest and fluffiest parts of the book

No time to see Valjean as a philanthopist...it's not like that Huge want to use him as an exable of a proper human being

I say it ones and i say it again...IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SO MISERABLE!! Ι know that the book had that element of course but it was to educate about the difficultes of poverty and that we need to stop it and help...when i see this miserables I want to run before the cut my throat

And all this misery is just outside the rich convent where rich people sent rich daughters in a rich area of paris just a stair away from the bourgeois...it's not like the police and the sociaty keep the different classes away and the poor live in different areas and Hugo tried to informe the rich because the didn't know

So davies said he want to make Cosette intresting because he thought she was boring in the book but here she is AN ANNOYING BRATTY BITCH!!! She doesn't care about the unfortunate people,she is prejudice, snoby and whine....and the book version wasn't boring...she was caring sweet and innocent but also confident energetic clever a little adventurus and full of life..she was a lovely character

In this version she knows valjean is not her father she learns what happen to her mother and what valjean did to her and her reaction is to complain that she is kept like a prisoner

Ando so valjean decides to wake her up take her to a nice stroll and so her the chain gang without warning to show her that she is fine in her life..and then she starts saying that the convicts were monsters(like in the 2000 mini series) and she doesn't want to be never near one...that is really a plan that backfire...but in the book they don't expect to see a chaingang and valjean is freaked out and shocked for days(a little ptsd?)

The all luxeburge garden affer is to quick it takes more thinks from the musical and no the book and valjean learns right away that something is going acts like an angry jealous boyfriend

They are people who think valjean is cosette sugar daddy and i don't blame them!! He is peeking at her change clothes at some point!! ( a 2000 mini series borrow)

We have the must butchered version of the gobreau house version.... cosette and valjean just recognise thernadier but valjean goes any way so he can pay them and finash with them i think...we don't no anything of patro-minette and the unique characters...everything happens to quick to have suspense and character development,the badassery,the bad guys plan,the humour and the epic awesome lines and scenes(the shoujo cosette anime had 2-3 episodes more than an hour to give an accourate gobreau house and still left some thinks out) this version is only around 5 minutes

We have "sexiness" in this version for some reason..... with marius wet dream about cosette turning into a wet dream about eponine...with eponine do some kind of soft striptease for marius and grantair and courfeyrac taking marius to a brothel where eponine is also there

Davies think the women in miserable are boring so to make eponine intresting he make her a sex object who works as prostitute sometime to survive but tease marius with her sexiness and she is around 15 years old you perve!! It's not ok to try to make sexual abuse minor victims sexy!! And he makes her far les intresting

Finaly my favourite character javert i don't think he is saveble in this version... he is your clasick boring obsest villain!! No character no charm no relatabillity..he just obsest and has a fine position full of honours and stole the 2012 movie costume from russell crowe...it's not like policeman where really low class poor people outside of society hated by almost everyone and that made javert one of the miserables in the book along the other characters...but no here he is a powerful man with no character...i have seen but marvel villains with more character and complexity....and his only hope was the gobreau house to shine but they lostvthe oportunity...we didn't se him burn his coat or oferring his hat or any of his sarcasm

There is no hope for the series and Davies is cleary a perv
