I saw a post going around asking what movie you've watched the most in the life, and it really got my contemplating. I was thinking of all the movies I watched as a kid, and whether or not the movies I've obsessively watched as an adult has overtaken those.

I watched Tommy Boy on loop as a child and a fair bit as an adult, but to a lesser extent. Then I remembered, I watched the hell out of 12 Monkeys as a kid and as an adult, so that may be the one.

As an adult my most watched films are probably Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Ed Wood, 12 Monkeys, The Prestige, The Thing, and The Exorcist.

All in all, I think it has to be 12 Monkeys. Probably. It may also be my all-time second favorite movie.

The Dark Knight was great. Insomnia, Memento, and Inception were a lot of fun, but to me The Prestige is peak Christopher Nolan. As far as overall quality goes. I think Inception was Christopher Nolan moving into "post-Nolan" mode, in which I mean where the director becomes a caricature of themselves. Much in the way that Tim Burton did, just in a different style.
