Mairiporã passa a fazer parte das cidades integrantes do CONDEMAT com sede em Mogi das Cruzes

Com a entrada do município o grupo se consolida como o maior consórcio da Região Metropolitana O CONDEMAT – Consórcio de Desenvolvimento dos Municípios do Alto Tietê (CONDEMAT) se consolida como o maior consórcio da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo. Com a recente adesão de Mairiporã, são 14 cidades, que respondem por mais de 5% do Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) do Estado e mais de 3,2 milhões de habitantes. Na última quinta-feira (18), os prefeitos de Arujá e Guarulhos, Luís Camargo e Guti Costa, respectivamente vice-presidente e presidente do Conselho Fiscal do CONDEMAT, se reuniram com o prefeito de Mairiporã, Walid Hamid, o Aladim, para as boas-vindas da cidade ao consórcio que completou 13 anos de fundação no mês passado. “Não tenho dúvidas que o ingresso de Mairiporã será bom para o consórcio. Hoje, mais do que nunca, o CONDEMAT tem ganhado muita força e respeito. Discutimos não apenas os problemas que enfrentamos de forma comum, pois as cidades estão todas interligadas de certa forma, mas as questões sociais que são as mesmas, o que mude, talvez, seja a escala”, destacou Guti, que durante sua gestão como presidente, em 2022, trabalhou pela expansão do consórcio e possibilitou o ingresso de Igaratá, no início deste ano e, agora, de Mairiporã. Durante o encontro, a estrutura disponível no CONDEMAT foi apresentada ao prefeito de Mairiporã e sua equipe. Entre os destaques estão as Câmaras Técnicas, que discutem temas de interesse comum entre as cidades, além das iniciativas consorciadas como a Usina Móvel de Resíduos da Construção Civil, as unidades de Residência Terapêutica e o convênio com a Associação de Assistência à Criança Deficiente (AACD), assim como parcerias com diversas entidades que auxiliam no dia a dia das administrações municipais. “O CONDEMAT foi fundamental para as cidades no enfrentamento da pandemia e não apenas isso. As decisões tomadas em grupo fazem uma grande diferença, principalmente para as cidades menores. No consórcio, todos os municípios têm a mesma importância, o que fortalece a nossa representatividade e possibilita a abertura que temos hoje no Estado e na União”, pontuou o vice-presidente Camargo, ao lado do secretário executivo Adriano Leite. Mairiporã se junta a Guararema, Igaratá, Mogi das Cruzes, Poá, Santa Branca e Santa Isabel no rol dos Municípios de Interesse Turístico (MITs) do CONDEMAT. A cidade localizada na Serra da Cantareira tem 80% do seu território em Área de Proteção e Recuperação de Mananciais (APRM), situação semelhante à Salesópolis, integrante do consórcio que possui o título de Estância Turística. Localizada no eixo da Rodovia Fernão Dias, Mairiporã conta com um território de 320 quilômetros quadrados e mais de 100 mil habitantes. Para Aladim, o ingresso da cidade no CONDEMAT é um passo importante no desenvolvimento municipal. “É uma honra para Mairiporã caminhar ao lado dos municípios que integram o consórcio e tenho certeza que nossa cidade vai avançar em várias áreas”, disse o prefeito.
