AA6 is giving me absolutely nothing man
#like...listen. it's not *all* bad#it's just entirely devoid of what makes an AA game an AA game#AA5 introduced Athena and (you guessed it) I actually rly like her!#so AA5 still gave me *something*#this is entirely subjective of course#im putting aa5 and 6 in the same category since they're both in the awkward post-aa4 3DS era#i think they're pretty comparable#they're both written in a rly safe manner. no daring risks no original twist to the storyline just. nothing of that#although I had an OK time with AA5 overall and had a good time even in 5-5#(is it because Edgeworth?)#(yes of course it's because Edgeworth)#(oh like maybe im giving in to the 'pleasing the fans' thing but listen to me#it was absolutely horrible that they included Phoenix in aa4 without even a *mention* of either Maya or Edgeworth#and they're indispensable friends. like come on. so yeah whatever I rly liked to see Edgeworth talk w Phoenix it was gr8 and I cried)#anyway maybe I'll make a longer post abt aa6 maybe not I'll see#because despite my...lack of fun with it#i do love to pick media apart#I've seen some people rly enjoy aa6 and all the power to them yk!#there's definitely something there but it just doesn't click w me#I'm in 6-4 now and I finally met clown girl so there's that
