Almost ripe tomatoes harvested. I am always amazed by how beautiful the heirlooms are. So many colors and shapes. All packed up in a lovely box Chris made. Great job Bear! #400heirloomtomatoplants

Farming is hard. I knew it would be hard WORK. I didn't know it would be hard in so many other aspects of my life. Farming is hard because it takes so much time. Plants grow fast and there is always more to do. Farming is hard because it takes money. Even when doing it on the cheap, there is always something to buy. Farming is hard because you have to wait. Wait for things to grow. Wait for things to get ripe. Wait to sell. Farming is hard on relationships. You fight with your fellow farmer because you are stressed and tired and running out of money. You miss out on seeing your friends because your tomatoes have horn worms. Farming is hard. I may be tired and dirty and sometimes a little cranky but at the end of the day I am happy and farming is hard but it is the most authentic thing I have ever done. #livingthedream #400heirloomtomatoplants

I just realized I am half way done pruning the tomatoes!!! It's starting to look less mess and there is so much unripe fruit! Can't wait to try out first tomato! The left is the finished plants and the right what I have to do for this row! Two rows to go! #400heirloomtomatoplants
