These are used to attach the outer "apron" dress on women's garb.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Etched bronze with stainless pins.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These are a special pair that was a gift from a daughter to a mother on the day of her elevation to the Order of the Laurel (SCA). Mom is all about turtles!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The hook things at the bottom are hangers to hook beads to, They are in the shape of flying boars (Mom said she would be elevated when pigs fly!)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She was elevated yesterday, so It was time to share!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I found out while I was there that another well deserving friend was being elevated into the same order. She recived a small pendant of the flying pig.
