A fascinating side effect of the Rings in the Nyannatar AU is that they are not merely meant to stop the fading of the elves, but preserve all within their realms.
It's by design. It's by intention. These Rings were made with end end goal of preservation and they actually do their job remarkably well. It is not subtle either. Men and dwarves notice that the turn of the season never comes for the realms of elves. They're trapped in a perpetual spring, trapped in the very moment Celebrimbor first slipped the rings onto his fingers and begged the world to stop moving around them.
They just don't notice that when they enter the realms of the elves, they also stop aging.
After all, Celebrimbor never made the rings just for the elves.
He also made them for Annatar.

A Complex Mobility Task: 馃摣馃Ξ
Since moving into a house, Mandana has started to develop a habit of barking loudly when mail or packages are dropped off. Rather than punish her for this natural behavior I鈥檓 giving her the tools to deal with it in a more productive manner.
1. She rings the bell to let me know the mail was delivered.
2. She sits and waits for me to open the door and give her commands instead of bolting outside.
3. She brings the packages inside and stacks them in a pile.
4. She opens the packages for me only when I ask and only until I ask her to stop so as not to damage anything.
5. She helps me pick up items and throw trash away.
It鈥檚 a bit of extra work for me right now but she really enjoys it and it鈥檚 going to be very helpful when the training is complete.
