[Sisun News - Reporter Yang Wonmin] Actress Park Gyuyoung and the 'face genius' Cha Eunwoo's drama 'A Good Day to be a Dog' continues to be a hit worldwide. After ranking number one on Korea's Netflix TV series, it consistently remains within the top three, and it also ranked first in drama on Japan's OTT platform U-NEXT. Additionally, on the global OTT platform Rakuten Viki, it debuted in first place in 93 countries including the United States, Brazil, and India during its opening week, showcasing the prestige of K-dramas.

Park Gyuyoung, who has become a trendsetting actress, did not always dream of acting. She attended Busan Foreign Language High School and then entered Yonsei University, majoring in Clothing and Textiles. Park's foray into the entertainment industry came about by chance. While at university, she modelled for the cover of "College Tomorrow," and JYP Entertainment approached her with a casting offer after seeing her work. Although such a sudden career change could have been met with parental opposition, she instead received their strong support and embarked on this path.

Later, Park Gyuyoung made her debut as the leading lady in the music video for singer Jo Kwon's song "Crosswalk," garnering attention. Even before the music video's release, there was curiosity about who would be the female lead opposite EXO's Suho, whose participation was already known. Park expressed her honour at being a global ambassador for Gucci, hoping to showcase her individuality, passion, and confidence through various activities with the brand.

The drama "A Good Day to be a Dog" in which Park is currently starring is based on a webtoon that has enjoyed immense popularity and support, especially among teenage and twenty-something women, and has been published as a book series. Authored by Lee Hye, a popular webtoon creator, "A Good Day to be a Dog" is her third work and has been a huge success in the webtoon community due to its solid storyline built from previous experiences and fantasy elements. The news of the drama adaptation piqued interest in casting, and with the confirmation of Park Gyuyoung, Cha Eunwoo, and Lee Hyunwoo as the leads, expectations were high even before its broadcast due to the 'perfect casting' narrative.

Bu dizi ile ilgili uzun uzun yorum yazabilecek kadar söyleyecek bir şeyim ne yazık ki yok. Hastane dizilerini seviyorsanız her türlü seveceğiniz bir dizi. Ben çok keyif alarak izledim. Bütün hastane ekibi oyuncuları çok güzeldi. Büyük bir hastanede baş hekimlik yapan bir adamın, yaşadığı bir olay sonrasında kayıplara karışarak küçük bir kasabada küçük bir hastanede ismini değiştirerek çalışmasını anlatıyor. İlk sezonda yanında çalışan iki yeni doktorun gelişimlerine şahit oluyoruz. İkilinin arasındaki romantik hikaye çok ön plana çıkmasa da dizi içerisinde güzel yer edinmiş.

Kang Dong-Joo (Yoo Yeon-Seok ) ve Yoon Seo-Jung (Seo Hyun-Jin) ilk sezonun yıldızlarıydı. Yoo Yeon-Seok ile ilk tanıştığımız diziydi. İlk karşılaşmamızda fazlaca pembe dizi tadında bulsam da şöyle söylemeliyim ki  Mr. Sunshine dizisinde yıkıp geçiyor. Efsaneye dönüşüyor. Seo Hyun-Jin ise Korede başarılı oyuncular arasında ismini yazdırmış, yetenekli kadınlardan birisi. Kendisine en net The Beauty Inside dizisinden aşinayım.  İkisinin de ayrı ayrı trajik hikayeleri arka planda ilerlerken küçük hastanenin hastaları, hastane içinde olan olaylar diziyi götürüyordu. Doktor dizilerinde her bölüm tanıştığımız hastalar asıl hikayeyi şekillendiriyor. Bu dizide hasta hikayeleri yine vardı ama o kadarda ön plana çıkmıyorlardı. Dizi çok ayarında yazılmıştı. Doktorların aralarındaki rekabetler, ameliyatlara girmek için yapılan çekişmeler, özel hayatları ve baş rol Profesör Kim (Han Suk-Kyu)’in hikayesiydi.  

Bu hikayelerin yanı sıra, ilk başta geçen büyük hastanenin müdürü ile Profesör Kim arasındaki husumet anlatılıyordu. Dizinin kötü adamı gerçekten hepimize yaka silktirdi. Bu kötü adamın oğlu da aynı hastanede doktordu, o da ilerleyen bölümlerde profesörün ekibine katılıyordu.

Birinci sezon sonunda hikaye normal seyrinde bittikten sonra genç doktor kadrosunu ikinci sezon için değiştirmişler. İkinci sezon başında çok kısa laf arasında birinin yurtdışında eğitime diğerinin ise sınır tanımaz doktorlara katıldığını söylediler. Müdürün oğlu ise büyük hastaneye geri dönüş yapmış. Birinci sezondan yalnızca müdürün oğlu ikinci sezon konuk oyuncu olarak geliyordu. Başta oyuncuların değişmesi hoşuma gitmese de ikinci sezonu bitirdiğimde damağımda hoş bir tat bıraktı. Bu şekilde yenilikçi bir tavır hoşuma gitti. Belki aynı çift ile devam edilseydi, aynı tadı vermeyebilirdi.

İkinci sezonda Profesör Kim, küçük hastanenin doktor eksiği nedeni ile talepte bulunuyor. Ve bir grup genç doktor hastanede zorunlu çalışmak için gönderiliyor.  Seo Woo-Jin (Ahn Hyo-Seop), Cha Eun-Jae(Lee Sung-Kyung), Bae Moon-Jung (Shin Dong-Wook), Yoon A-Reum(So Ju-Yeon) ikinci sezon gelen genç doktor kadrosu diyebiliriz. Bu sezonun çifti ise, Seo Woo-Jin (Ahn Hyo-Seop), Cha Eun-Jae(Lee Sung-Kyung) oluyor. İlk çifte nazaran bu çiftin romantizm dozu daha da düşüktü. Abbys dizisinden tanıdığımız Ahn Hyo-Seop bu dizide asi söz dinlemez bir genci canlandırıyordu. Weightlifting fairy kim book joo dizisinden tanıdığımız Lee Sung-Kyung ise önceki dizisine nazaran çok daha kadınsı, nazlı ve narin bir karakteri canlandırıyordu. İkilinin uyumu aslında birinci sezon çiftinden daha güzeldi ama yine de birinci sezon çiftinin hikaye derinliğini yakalayamadılar. Çok daha yüzeysel bir ilişkileri var gibiydi.

Jin Kyung’u baş hemşire olarak izlemek çok keyifliydi. Kim Min-Jae ise hemşire rolünde çok arka planda olsa da göze batmayı başarıyordu. Genel olarak karakterler üzerinden yazdığım bir yazı oldu ama dediğim gibi hastane dizileri bölümlük konuları ile biliniyor. Ben bu tarz dizileri sevdiğim için çok keyif aldım. İki sezon olmasından sıkılmadım. Hatta 3.sezon anlaşması yapıldığı için memnunum.

In the ‘2020 SBS Drama Awards’, which was unfolded as a special feature on the 30th anniversary of SBS’s founding at 9 pm on the 31st, Jin Kyung, who played an active part in’Romantic Doctor Kim Sabu 2′, was named the main character of the Female Supporting Actor Award.

2020 SBS Drama Awards - December 31, 2020

Excellent Actress (Kim You-Jung)

Bende birçok izleyici gibi Ji Chang-Wook’un bir an önce ajans değiştirmesi gerektiğini düşünenlerdenim. Kendisi bu konu ile ilgili her ne kadar “hayranların istedikleri rollerdense beni tatmin eden işler içerisinde olmayı tercih ediyorum.” dese de işlerin reytingleri ortada. Backstreet Rookie de konusu, çekimleri ve hikayesi ile zayıf kalan bir diziydi. Komedi ve abartı unsurlarına ağırlık vermiş olsa bile yeterli olmamış diye düşünüyorum. Aşk hikayesi demeye ise asla dilim varmıyor. Yine bir Webtoon hikayesinin ekmeğini yemişiler.

Dizinin orijinal ismi olan “Pyeonuijeom Saetbyeoli”’in marketin Saet-Byul’ü gibi bir anlamı var. Jung Saet-Byul(Kim You-Jung) liseye giderken ilk görüşte Choi Dae-Hyun (Ji Chang-Wook) ‘a aşık oluyor. Okul dışında yanlarından geçen bu aşık olduğu adamın dudaklarına yapışıveriyor. Sahneyi de oldukça abartılı çekmişler. Kızımız uçarak adamın üzerine atlıyor falan, neyse. Dizi Kore’de bölümlük yayınlanırken bu sahne üzerine hoop yine başlıyor spekülasyonlar.  Kim You-Jung 1999 doğumlu gencecik bir çıtır olduğundan “Love in the Moonlight” dizisinde Park Bo-Gum ile çektikleri öpüşme sahnesinde 17 yaşındaydı. Bu o zaman hem dizi yapım ekibinin hem de partnerinin topa tutulmasına neden olmuştu. Bu dizide de lise kıyafetleri ile kendinden çok büyük bir erkek ile öpüştüğü için topa tutuluyor. Burada ufak bir Goblin dizisini hatırlatmalıyım. Kore’nin kült yapımlarından biri olan Goblin’de liseli bir kızın devasa yaş farkı olan bir adamla aşkı anlatılıyordu. Ki oyuncular arasındaki yaş farkı da bir o kadar vardı. Sanırım niyet önemli. Ve kesinlikle kalite olarak karşılaştırılamayacağını biliyorum, yalnızca yüzeysel benzerlik nedeni ile araya girdim. Bu konuyu bir kenara bırakırsak yeni nesil oyuncular arasında Kim You-Jung’u çok başarılı buluyorum. Dizilerle hatta dönem dizileri ile büyümüş bir oyuncu olarak birçok oyuncuya taş çıkarttığında görebilirsiniz.

Çok fazla konuyu dağıtmadan geri döneyim, Saet-Byul bu sansasyonel sahne sonrasında hayatı yokuş aşağı giden bir kızı canlandırıyor. Babasını erken yaşta kaybediyor ve kardeşine bakmak için okulu bırakıyor. Yıllar sonra Dae-Hyun’un çalıştığı markette iş başvurusunda buluyor. Choi Dae-Hyun (Ji Chang-Wook) ise kendisini tamamen işine adamış 30larında market yöneticisidir. Ailesiyle birlikte büyük bir market markasının franchise’ını işletmektedir. Hayatta çok amacı olmayan, tek istediği marketin iyi satışlar yapması müşterilerin mutlu olmasıdır. Dizinin ağır eleştiriler almasının bir diğer nedeni de Choi Dae-Hyun’un yakın arkadaşı olan Han Dal-Sik (Eum Moon-Suk) karakteridir. Bob Marley hayranı olduğu için onun gibi giyinen karakter, dramanın ırkçılıkla suçlanmasına neden olmuş.

Bu kadar tepkiye etki olarak dizideki bütün romantik yakınlaşmaları çıkartmışlar. Hikaye olarak da bakıldığında romantik bir durum olmayınca anlatmaya çalışılan aşk da izleyiciye hiç geçmiyor. Kaldı ki kızımız aşık olduğu adamın yanında işe başlıyor beyimiz kendisinden oldukça büyük ve uzun süredir de bir kız arkadaşı var. Yoo Yeon-Joo (Han Sun-Hwa) çok zengin bir ailenin kızı, Dae-Hyun’un bundan haberi olmamasını geçtim çift olarak asla uyumlu değillerdi. Oyuncu yada oyunculuk olarak söylemiyorum. Yanlış anlaşılmasın, senaryo gereği karakterler birbirine uygun değillerdi. Dizinin bu kısmında hangisinin birinci hangisinin ikinci kız olduğu birbirine karıştı.  Son bölümlere kadar ikisinin de ön planda olması çok tatsızdı. Dae-Hyun dizinin baş��ndan sonuna kadar Saet-Byul’a kız kardeşi gibi davrandı. Hiç iki kadın idare etme gibi bir mevzuya girilmedi. Hal böyle olunca da evin küçük kızından büyük aşık moduna geçemedi.

Finalde havada kalan ya da koca sezon boşa izletilen şeylerde vardı. Yoo Yeon-Joo’nun şirketteki kötü adam figürü gereksiz bir iki yükseldi, sonra bir anda bitti. Niye geldi niye gitti belli olmadı. Saet-Byul’un okuldan arkadaşı Kang Ji-Wook (Kim Min-Kyu) da diziye çok yüksekten giriş yapanlardandı. Karizmatik, zengin, yetenekli, kibar… herşeyi toplamış ona vermişler. Sonra sessiz sedasız azalarak yok oldu. Son olarak da Saet-Byul’un kız arkadaş grubu! 3 kişilik bu grup dizinin daha ortalarına gelmeden bir anda 2 kişi kaldı. Kızlardan birini bir anda senaryodan çıkardılar. Hiç anlam veremedim.

Toparlayıp bitirmem gerekirse; diziyi keyifle izledim. Bu kadar gömdükten sonra ne kadar inandırıcı olacak emin değilim ama sıkılmadım. Ortalama, çerezlik bir diziydi. Benim açımdan Ji Chang-Wook’a bakış açımı biraz değiştirdi. Oyuncuyla “The sound of Magic” ile tanıştığımda çok beğenmiştim. Sonra izlediğim dizileri ve takip ettiğim showlarda hatta vlog videolarında bir şey fark ettim. Oyuncu hep aynı. Şaşırması, korkması, birini dinlerken ki mimikleri… Bu beni bir miktar, çok az bir miktar soğutmadı değil. Şimdi 2023 dizisi “The Worst Evil” duyurulmuş. Çok içten umuyorum ki bu sefer şeytanın bacağını kıracak, hadi bakalım.

‘The Curious Stalker’ is a fantasy drama about healing & growth that transcends time and space. Doyoung will to appear in the drama as an 18-year-old high school student.

‘The Curious Stalker’ is the Season 3 of the drama ‘Midnight Cafe’, which had previously aired in February. The story will take place at a cafe.

Doyoung will be playing a character named 'Son Jiwoo', a high-schooler who can see the future, Son Jiwoo is a high school student who's perfect from his looks to his grades and personality.

Son Jiwoo's character will grow as he experience various emotions from his mom who lost memories and his girl friend

NCT’s Doyoung To Make Acting Debut As Lead Of New Fantasy Drama

NCT’s Doyoung will be making his highly-anticipated acting debut!

On November 2, SPOTV News reported that Doyoung would be making his acting debut as the male lead in “Sanbok Sanbok Stalker” (literal title).

Following reports, a source from SM Entertainment confirmed, “Doyoung will be taking on his first acting role as Son Ji Woo in the time and space transcending fantasy drama ‘Midnight Café’ (literal title) season three ‘Sanbok Sanbok Stalker,’ which will portray the growth and therapeutic story of an 18-year-old high school student who can see the future.”

“Sanbok Sanbok Stalker” is the third season of MBC’s “Midnight Café,” which aired earlier this year in February. “Midnight Café” is about the story that unfolds in a café located on a mountainside road in Busan that doesn’t even appear on a map. Seasons two and three of “Midnight Café” will be produced simultaneously and premiere in the first half of next year.

Doyoung will play Son Ji Woo, a perfect high school student from his appearance to his personality. He’s a character who matures from experiencing a mix of chaotic feelings from having a mother who’s losing her memories and heart-fluttering excitement from developing feelings for a female friend.

This will be Doyoung’s first attempt at acting. In addition to his various activities as a member of NCT, Doyoung appeared on numerous variety programs and promoted as the MC for SBS’s “Inkigayo.”

Following NCT’s Jaemin and Jaehyun, Doyoung will be the third member to make his acting debut. Recently, Jaemin won Best Korean Actor at the 2020 Seoul Webfest Awards for his performance in the web drama “Way to Dislike You,” and Jaehyun is also preparing to making his acting debut with the upcoming KBS drama “Dear.M.”
